"This popular restaurant specialises in crab, with a menu that shines the spotlight on the crustacean – crab spring rolls, fried rice, salt-baked crab, steamed crab… the list goes on. Crab vermicelli soup brims with umami-loaded crabmeat and roe. The broth features deep, slightly sweet flavours. Soft-shelled crab is fried to order, boasting a crispy crust and firm flesh. What’s more, crab can be replaced by shrimp in most dishes." - Michelin Inspector

The deep fried soft shell crabs are extremely tasty. Light batter, juicy sweet tender meat unlike normal soft shell crabs elsewhere that are dry and fishy as they use frozen soft shell crabs. They clean the oil often by filtering it and adding new oil so the oil looks clear and clean. However, the service and environment need to improve, they cramp different parties to share tiny table that is messy and the interior is quite stuffy and runs smell of the fried food. The lady taking order is quite helpful tho she will advise customers how best to eat the food.

This place is all about the crab! And done so good! The fried soft shell crab is so well done, does NOT give you that oily smell that lingers in your gut long after you’re done with your meal. The fried rice and vermicelli has that beautiful charred umami. Totally enjoyed it, love it!

I really enjoyed this restaurant and the food being a crab through restaurant was so delicious and I was very happy to come here. It was also very funny but also sweet that the lady who works there who look to be the owner was an older grandma. And you shouldn’t speak English, so she was pointing at the menu of the things that are good in like just telling me to flip the menu and I thought that was very. funny. The food came out very fast and I really enjoyed the crab noodles as well as the fried crab and the crab spring rolls, those were the best I found that my crab fried rice was not flavourful enough and maybe it was just a one off thing, but I think the crab noodles were so good that I really wanna go back there just for that I recommended and even ourdriver who is the Grab driver recommend this place cause we’re gonna go to the place beside it but he recommended because this was a Michelin guide and it was definitely the place to go. I would come back here again and recommend this good crab place to anyone that is in the area of Saigon.

A Hidden Gem for Fresh Seafood in Saigon I stumbled upon this local seafood spot in Saigon and was pleasantly surprised. The seafood is incredibly fresh and the prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality. The fried softshell crab and steamed garlic shrimps are absolute musts, both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. It’s the kind of unpretentious place that focuses on what matters: fresh ingredients, simple prep, and generous portions. If you’re in Saigon and craving seafood without the fuss (or tourist prices), this place is a solid pick. I’d definitely go back.

I recently paid a visit to this shop, it was very crowded but we didn’t have to wait or preserve the table. They have many dishes but most are about crabs and shrimps, they are famous for the stirred crab mun bean and the crab rolls. They made very quick as well and the taste was delightful. For this price and atmosphere, i would rate this as a place for dinner but not to stay for too long, maybe something unique that worth to try if you are seeking for a new experience of cuisine. Bonus: The up-floor has AC so very cold 🥶 and they charged 5,000VND for bike parking fee in front of the shop. I give this 8/10 ⭐️

By far my best meal of the trip so far and even better than another Michelin restaurant I had last night, when this was just a Michelin guide. That said, u have to withstand the very crowded and narrow space while eating. And if u are into hygiene, u wouldn't wanna spend too much time chilling here. The crab soup (110k) was my highlight. Although it's not cheap for vietnamese standards, but the amount of crabs they had inside (it's like crabs swimming inside my mouth) and the incredibly umami, sweet tasting soup, this itself deserves a 5 stars! Fried rice was good but nothing fantastic... Same thing... Full of crabs! And then the vermicelli with crabs and the spring roll, both were really delicious too! There's tis old lady who despite of our language barrier, was very very helpful in trying to suggest what to eat with which food. We were afraid to offend her though if we didn't eat that same way! They probably should do something about their toilet though, as it feels like skiing in Hokkaido ice, (not snow). Be careful and perhaps going back to your hotel toilet might be a safer choice. Overall, this is a 8.75 out of 10! Will be here and intro more to come.

The food was so delicious. We ate here for dinner, we ordered the crab soup and their famous soft shelled crab plus the fried rice. All were great, fast service but little English. They have toilet and many are dining jn.

The deep-fried soft shell crab was just okay - light and crispy, but ultimately forgettable. The delicate flavor of the crab was overwhelmed by the batter. The crab fried rice was decent, though it lacked the signature wok hei you'd expect. The lump crab didn't hit the mark either. At 60OK for two small, underwhelming plates, this spot feels wildly overpriced by Vietnam standards.
