21 Best Restaurants in Puerto Rico | Condé Nast Traveler

"Que PezCa'o is a casual, unassuming little eatery by the harbor that spills out onto a covered alfresco seating area where guests can relax and enjoy mellow live music. It can get crowded and slightly raucous on the weekend—mostly because of all the little kids and dogs wandering around—but it's always a good time. Try the bacalao croquettes, the ceviche nachos, the mahi-mahi mofongo, and the whole grilled red snapper. Oh, and some of the most flavorful, fresh-off-the-boat fish tacos you'll find on the island." - Kris Fordham

The food here is extraordinary, but they have 2 main issues: parking and service logistics. There isn’t enough parking for the amount of people that actually go and they are very disorganized with the seating and very poor attention because they don’t keep track of the tables and who they’re serving. We can better in some aspects, but the food is great every time.

Had high expectations, but the ceviche with mango sauce was overdone and not what I expected in a good ceviche. The carucho(conch) was OK, but not remarkable enough to ask for it again. Maybe I'll give it a second try with other items on the menu.

Came here for lunch and it was a wonderful experience. We were addressed quickly and food was promptly served. We got there fried coconut shrimp with pineapple sauce and it was absolutely delicious. Shrimps were huge and not overcooked. Just a side note that sides are extra.

If you like seafood and want local, Puerto Rican dishes, this is the place for you! Most of it is fried… could do with some fresher, less fried options, but it’s otherwise tasty food in a very casual, outdoor (but shady) setting.

To be fair, it was rush hour, and not many tables left. With that said, I was seated along the side of the restaurant with no clear sight of the front and any of the waiters moving about. Drinks came about 20 minutes after seating, and appetizers were around 15 minutes later. Our main meals came about an hour later. Luckily, we saw how things were going, so we took advantage when the waiter arrived and ordered appetizers, drinks, and main courses all at once. I must say the empanadas were delicious and so was our the main course. The restaurant is inside the park to be right.
