Seattle’s Best Tea Shops | Eater Seattle

"This small Ravenna shop has for decades been the primary place in Seattle to get traditional English tea. The interior is decked out in full Victorian splendor, flaunting plenty of frills and flowers; even the shrubs surrounding the entry are neatly manicured." - Dylan Joffe

I visited queen Mary tea emporium recently to pick out a gift and some interesting tea flavors for afternoon tea I am hosting and it was such a great experience. As soon as I walked in, I was hit with the most amazing smell of different teas. They've got tons of interesting tea flavors and really cool British tea-themed gifts. The vibe in the store is super chill, and the one staff member there was friendly. If you're into tea or need a cool gift, you should definitely stop by!

A petite and quaint tea shop, holding both eclectic and traditional tea varieties. I will be returning. The chestnut black tea is very delicious. Add in some milk and a wee bit of sugar and you’ve got a rainy Seattle twist on a classic cuppa.

What a wonderful little tea shop! They got so many different types of tea here, as well as very beautiful cups and other wares. There's also a patio to enjoy tea when it's not rainy.

Very extensive inventory of tea flavors, tea making paraphernalia, and tea culture books. Plus you can ask for any of the tea flavors prepared in a to-go cup and drink it in their quaint patio

Cute little store with many different formal tea sets and fancy loose leaf teas. I had the birthday cake wishes rooibos tea and the creamy earl grey. Both were excellent.

A very large selection of teas. Recommend! Just do not confuse, this is a store and a few steps up the street is already a restaurant for tea drinking.

I was able to experience queen Mary Tea at The Restaurant at Rhodes River Ranch. I tried the hazelnut honey bush and loved it so I bought the bag and the cup thank you for a lovely tea experience at a lovely place.

Great high quality fresh loose tea options. When we arrived there was a sample kettle of tea out for the customers. The shop is small and quaint with decent pricing but not the most competitive likely due to distribution buying power for small shop. Highly recommended some of the best loose tea mixes here in Seattle.
