Reformation Brewery’s New Location Will Serve Southern Food from Queenie’s | Eater Atlanta

"A Canton-based Southern restaurant run by chef-owner Zach Kell (also behind Goin’ Coastal Seafood and Downtown Kitchen) is expanding to downtown Woodstock and will begin serving lunch, dinner and snacks at a brewery’s new facility in September. The menu, with items priced $8–$24, emphasizes Southern fare and brewery-friendly snacks. The move is the result of a longstanding friendship and partnership between the restaurant owner and the brewery’s leadership, enabling the brand to grow from its Canton roots into Woodstock." - Sarra Sedghi

My wife and I moved to Canton, GA, last year. We have always been a fan of Main St and its restaurant offerings. I am not sure why it has taken us so long to try Queenies. But I am glad we did. The interior is cozy and has that touch of southern charm mixed with farm flare. They have a nice bar available for drinks if you have to wait on a table. We walked in and were seated immediately. The menu is upgraded southern comfort food with some nice steak options. (a poor summary to be fair) We ordered the shrimp and grits and rainbow trout. Both were flavorful and delicious. In our travels, we have become conisours of shrimp and grits. This version would make the top ten list for sure. The trout was equally tasty. Round this out with good service and good cornbread, and you have a great place for date night. Put it on your list. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped on our way to the airport. So glad we did. The recommendation for the Pork Belly wax spot on and I had the brisket and my husband had the pulled pork. The Dr. Pepper bbq sauce was so good. Our server Justin was awesome! Thank you for a great meal and service before our flight back to Wisconsin

Google
Some of the best food in Northwest Georgia! I’ve had the pleasure of dining for lunch and dinner service, thought if considering for dinner, make a reservation if you can! From delicious drinks to incredible biscuits, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Their southern dishes wow the taste buds and leave you wanting to come back. I had their crispy fried chicken recently and it was incredible. A go to spot when we’re in Canton!

Google
Queenie’s is an excellent restaurant in Canton, GA, and absolutely worth a visit. The food is delicious, with plenty of standout flavors and the pork belly is especially amazing, crispy and perfectly cooked! The atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and full of charm, making it the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual meal or a relaxed night out, the warm décor and friendly vibe make the experience even better. Overall, Queenie’s delivers great food, a welcoming ambiance, and a memorable dining experience.

We arrived about 4:45 with no reservation and were seated with no wait. Our waitress was Taylor and she was very charming and fun. We had the pork belly app - highly recommend. My date had the chicken and dumplings. HUGE portion and so good. These are true Southern dumplings (small squares, not puffy clouds). Excellent. I had the pecan smoked pull pork with Brunswick stew and Cole slaw. Again, large portion. The pork was well seasoned. The Cole slaw was the tiny cut and dressed well, not too wet. The Brunswick stew was really yummy with a little bit of spice. we both thought about getting dessert (banana pudding or pecan pie), but the entree portion were so large. We both brought home what we couldn’t finish. will def be back again. Prices were very reasonable for food and drinks.

Google
The food: Everything I got was super tasty. The salmon dip with the bread was really tasty. The fried chicken, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were really good. The only negative would be my cocktail. They gave me a very small skinny glass filled with mostly ice. Paid $11 for a cocktail where I only got a few sips. That was pretty disappointing and mgmt needs to do better here. The service: The service was just fine. Definitely not bad service but also not over the top and pretty much what you would expect for a restaurant like this. Overall, it's a date night type place, but in my opinion the food does not justify the higher prices. Yes, I gave it five stars and I don't expect perfection. Just my honest opinion about overall food and value. Go here and have your own experience.

Google
The meat and two was fantastic period really creamy Mac and cheese and the brussels sprouts were Tasty and crunchy. Biscuits were fluffy flaky and delicious. They have great cocktails and the atmosphere is an upscale Southern barbecue joint. I really enjoyed the brunch which I got is an appetizer.

Google
Everything was so good, and we ordered a lot. The brisket balls were special balls of my favorite meat, so good! The fried chicken and gravy was so tasty you'll be missing put if you don't try it!! The redneck lasagna amd Brunswick stew was simply incredible and the steak easily beat most steakhouses. I'm happy to find a place that isn't compromising flavor or food quality in these inflationary times, we will definitely be back!!

Yelp
My husband picked this place for lunch while we were on vacation. He got a whole rack of ribs for lunch and enjoyed them. Good flavor. I got a very basic grilled chicken sandwich as my stomach had been sensitive this vacation. It was perfect. No crazy seasoning. Just lettuce and pickle. No dressing. Simple and easy.

Yelp
My wife suggested our weekly date night outing. Queenies has been praised several of her friends and business acquaintances. So off we went. The positives: Parking- it's downtown Canton, GA. Even if you have to park at the courthouse and walk over, it's ample and convenient parking. Ambience- bright interior without being glaring. Love the paint. The wall decor is pleasant without going overboard. Staff- the staff are quick on their feet. You'll be seated pretty soon on entry. Heads up though- you MUST HAVE a reservation. The hostess was very friendly. Seating- we had a center aisle table. Our fault- make sure you designate on making your reservation that you prefer a booth. Noise- not bad. Not too loud, no obnoxious music rushing the meal. Food- the pulled pork was quite good. My wife said her salad and soup were good. The cons: Oh boy, folks ain't gonna like this... The food: I'm a native Georgian, growing up on cathead biscuits and grannies kitchen. That makes me not an expert but definitely a snob. Take that in mind. The biscuits were not fluffy. They were dense. The gravy was a bit bland. The pintos with chow chow were very bland. The Mimi's cucumbers in sour cream with dill were drowning in sour cream. My wife said her country fried steak was overlaid with a dense batter that did not crisp in to a flaky delight but was a bit off putting. Then came the pecan pie. I'll readily confess I grew up on Edward's pecan pies. This was, again, much denser. The overall flavor was nice but the consistency was not what I had anticipated. And while it's good that it wasn't the traditional karo syrup dripping mess of my youth, it lacked that consistency I had hoped for. We both just finished our left overs. Take the time and reheat in your oven- it's not microwave friendly food. The staff- not overly attentive to refills of drinks and wasn't the friendliest waitress. She wasn't rude, but when time to pay I was shocked to see a range of 20% to 30% for tipping (there is a selection for custom tipping also). We felt a little rushed. Would we go back? Probably not, though there is a large menu of interesting looking selections. And I am admittedly a southern cuisine snob. But more than likely, I'll hunt out a mom and pop place with old decor, bad lighting, and amazing biscuits.

Yelp
This is our GoTo place in Downtown Canton. Every meal is amazing, the bartender is creating amazing craft cocktails every week and small but always decent beer list. I have had so many amazing meals here. My favorites include the smoked salmon dip appetizer, the fried chicken is the best fried chicken I've ever had, the pulled pork is awesome, the salmon, grilled chicken and all the nightly specials I've had have been great. The sides for meals are always artisan and delish. The vibe is bright, high end southern and the bartender is awesome! This place is a must if you're in Canton. Never disappoints.

Yelp
Very tasty southern comfort food! We started with the biscuits which were very good. Nice and buttery- paired very well with the gravy as well as the pimento with bacon jam. I loved the sweet savory combo. For mains, I ordered the veggie plate with Mac and cheese, cauliflower, collard greens, and mushrooms. Mac and cheese was solid, not incredible (I thought it would be cheesier given it's called cheese&mac). Still tasty and would probably order again. The cauliflower was phenomenal- slightly sweet, the perfect balance of acid, delicious. Collard greens were fine and so were the mushrooms. I also tried the cabbage, sweet potato, coleslaw, and Brussels. I love the caramelized skins of the sweet potato. I liked that the coleslaw was light on the mayo. We ended our meal with the Coca Cola cake. The Coke flavor is very subtle aftertaste which is probably for the best. I feel like the frosting was too thick, but really enjoyed the cake. It has a denser fudgier texture (almost brownie like) and is very moist. Overall, I would return. You must try the cauliflower, biscuits, and Coca Cola cake!!

Yelp
My family spent Christmas in Canton. After staying in all day on Christmas Day, we were all eager to leave the house the next day. We made a lunch reservation the day after Christmas for a party of five. We arrived a few minutes early and were able to find street parking in front of the restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away. I tried the following: Complimentary house biscuit Fried Brussels side Smoked trout salad $17 The staff brought us complimentary biscuits shortly after we were seated. The biscuits were soft, flaky, and delightful. I could have easily devoured the entire table's plate of biscuits. For my entree, I opted for the smoked trout salad with a side of fried Brussels sprouts because who doesn't love crispy fried Brussels sprouts? They were delicious and crisped to perfection, by the way. The salad was excellent and came with a generous portion of smoked trout and veggies. The dressing was light and tasty. My party was very pleased with the food and portions. Some of us even had leftovers to take. Service was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return next time we visit our family in Canton!

Yelp
This was my first visit to the downtown historic area of Canton, and I decided to try Queenie's after considering many of the local establishments. Upon entering the restaurant, I asked the hostess what she would recommend I order. She mentioned a couple of items, but she said one of the most popular was their fried chicken entrée. Rather than waiting for a table, and being that I was dining by myself, I decided to sit at the bar. Everything about this experience either met or exceeded my expectations. I'm not a huge fan of biscuits, but they brought a warm biscuit with some honey butter that was simply out of this world. I ordered the fried chicken breast with a side of mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. The mashed potatoes were some of the smoothest and creamiest I've ever had. The mac & cheese was rich and creamy as well. If I ever return to the downtown historic Canton area, I would definitely consider returning to Queenie's, and I would highly recommend the restaurant to others. Cheers

Yelp
Very quality service and food. Came at 6pm on a Saturday, had a reservation. At the table we had brisket, fried chicken and pulled pork. Sides were Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes. Brisket was incredibly tender, slightly fatty for my taste. The chicken and pulled pork were perfect. The biscuits app are a MUST with the white gravy. Dessert was ok, wasn't wow-ed by the cheesecake or pecan pie but they were decent.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here after reading good reviews but was left underwhelmed. The price is very high for the food in my opinion. My nephew ordered the chicken and dumplings which were very bland. The best thing we ordered was the biscuit appetizer and the gravy was delicious.

Yelp
We were visiting my son and daughter-in-law and they suggested this restaurant. It was a great choice. The food and service was excellent. If you live here in Canton, GgA. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. They will fill you up. Give it a try I dare you

Yelp
Food: farm to table. So good. Everything was fresh made to order and so much flavor! .Started with the Smoked salmon with ciabatta bread. Huge portion, shareable for 4. For dinner we shared the special of short rib beef stroganoff and the Fried chicken with collards and whipped potatoes. I don't know what they put in those potatoes but just the way the simplest dish like mashed potatoes just melted. OMG! The chicken was fried to perfection with a beautiful dressing of white country gravy. Collard the absolute most flavorful I have had in a long time. The stroganoff was also a hit. The wide noodles. We chose without the mushrooms and it didn't take away from the dish. The beef was melt in your mouth tender. Hats off to the chef! Drinks: bartender Kiersten did a wonderful job keeping up with both the bar and service bar. Grabbed the Taquito drink. Refreshing and delicious. Let's talk service. Jess not only wowed us with service but her knowledge of the menu and the establishment. Would highly recommend to anyone willing to make the drive to Canton. Ended our meal with good ole fashion banana pudding. The atmosphere really made the entire experience. Laid back, southern home grown with a contemporary flair. We were sat in a booth, spacious and the seats were very comfortable. 100000/10!

Yelp
What a fabulous restaurant! Excellent service from the moment, we walked in the door until we left. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly, He gave us time to peruse the menu, and brought out some delicious bread while we decided on our selections. Our shared appetizer came quickly and our server gave us the time to finish it before bringing out our meal. Food as well presented and very flavourful. We sat at a booth that was both quiet and comfortable. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Food was very subpar and expensive. The potato salad taste like really bad store bought potato salad. Potatoes were undercooked. The biscuits have an after taste to them.
google avatar

Barbara B.

Yelp
Service was mediocre and took some time when no one else was in the restaurant. Green beans are canned. Bartender/server says they aren't and insisted they cooked them. Don't believe that. Salmon was ordered medium and was over. Wouldn't recommend.

Caron D.

Yelp
Real Sourhern cooking with a modern twist, I love having lunch here. Their fried green tomatoes are the best I've ever had and they always have interesting and delicious specials. A local favorite with a warm, inviting interior.

Kelly F.

Yelp
Absolutely loved our dinner here, from the drinks, apps, entrees, deserts, just deliciously happy. Service was spectacular. Recommendations were spot on. Cute restaurant with lots of character, and very clean. You never see a white restaurant that stays white. We will be back again, and again.

Yelp
Big fan of this local for me gem. Great service. Nestled in cozy dt Canton w those layed back vibes. The pork belly app w grits is amaze. Then the house made cornbread.....then you gotta do oulled pork w hot dr pepper and alabama white sauce. Mc drip and done.

Yelp
Went here with my wife and I will for sure be back. The place is warm and feels homie. Like there is an option to eat outside on a nice day. Service is good, they will tell you specials and let you know what they like. Very professional and courteous about making sure you get your stuff, table is clean, and keep your drink filled. The food is amazing, started with the brisket and cheese fritters (it is a must get), they brought over 2 biscuits with the honey butter and these things are beyond amazing. Just wish I could have had more. The redneck lasagna (Brunswick stew on top of mac n cheese) is a meal on its own but for sure a good choice in side and worth the $3 up charge. The chicken breast dinner option is super tasty, wife got the wedge salad (so big and ranch is amazing). Got desert to go and the pecan pie is a have to for me now. If you like good food, want a nice date spot, and like good cocktails this is the place to come.

Yelp
We had dinner with friends who were visiting from out of town at Queenie's last night. The ambience is great. Really cool vibe. The food was incredible. Everything they make is 100% from scratch! The service was super informative and helpful but a little slow on beverages. Overall the experience was fantastic and we will definitely be returning!!! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
We stumbled on this location while visiting the town. We came in late in the afternoon and the place wasn't busy. We had a glass of wine and had the Fritters - DELICIOUS! We will be going back and trying their full menu very soon. The woman who attendee to us was great. We chatted all during our snack. She made our visit delightful Give it try when in Canton
google avatar

Jill A.

Yelp
The food is amazing! Classic southern flavors dressed to impress! We had a delightful weekday lunch, I look forward to coming back soon to enjoy supper!
google avatar

Keith C.

Yelp
Food while is always good, the services has been lacking last two visits. Sat by kitchen and still had to beg to get water refilled. Waitress never checked in the table until time to drop the check off

Camille M.

Yelp
Absolutely loved Queenie's! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for a night out. I had the pork belly over grits--hands down one of the best meals I've had in a while. The biscuits with bacon jam were incredible too. Cocktails were on point, and our server was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you're in downtown Canton and craving upscale Southern comfort food!
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
We saw the restaurant name on the windows so we went through the first doors adjacent to that. It took us to their event space and we barged in on some business meeting. That was awkward. I had looked at the lunch menu online and already decided I wanted the bacon pimento cheeseburger. But the server said there were no burgers available. That was sad because the menu is kinda limited as it is. I ended up getting three sides. Fries were fine. Mac and cheese was not impressive. The Brussel sprouts had potential, but the acrid burnt tastes kept ruining it. I will still try this place again, through the right door.
google avatar

Steve C.

Yelp
Excellent fried chicken! My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and that was amazing as well. Great atmosphere and amazing friendly service too.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Some are going to find this review unfair, but I will explain. I came in with intentions of ordering a meal at the bar and took a look at the menu while sipping a glass of wine. The problem is anything I wanted to order was either fried or priced at a level which I wasn't comfortable with. I figured i could go with a steak, but the good ones they get locally are double the cost of the Cisco beef. I would rather stop at the butcher. Ultimately, what i wanted to order (strip, one side) would have been a meal that explaining to the wife, wasn't worth. Guy next to me got the strip, I think, and I was unimpressed considering. Overall, it's just not a right fit for me, but "southern food" rarely is.
google avatar

Noelle A.

Yelp
Oh my YUMMINESS! Appetizers that you've only imagined in your dreams! Pork Rinds two feet tall (no lie), Pimento Cheese Bacon Jam (OMG), Brisket, and that's just to start off! Moving on to meals - wow the freshness of home grown veggies, trout, salmon, chicken and more! Each and every dish is so tastefully plated and thought out, it makes dining an exciting event. Service has always been great, location is in a quaint area in downtown Canton, with plenty of shops and grounds to walk about. Ambiance is quaint and well thought out, space is limited so make a reservation and plan to eat well!

Rebeca L.

Yelp
#worst customerserviceever! We had a reservation on Saturday night... so we were in no rush, and the mood was good! However, upon our arrival, the hostess tried to tell me that my family reservation of 5 could sit comfortably at a 4-top table. Mind you, this was right in front of the kitchen area with no room to maneuver. If you sat there, you would think you were constantly in the way. I asked to be seated at a larger table so we would be more comfortable and not sitting in the kitchen basically, and she said she wouldn't be able to do that even though I had taken the time to make a reservation, and she sat people ahead of me without a reservation at a table we could have sat at. The customer service was HORRIBLE and unaccommodating/unwilling to assist us. This was a terrible experience, especially since I had elderly people with me, and seating at a 4-top when it is a party of 5 is TOO TIGHT. So instead of sitting somewhere with service like this, we went over to Local on North, where we had a lovely dinner with great food, drinks, and most of all, nice service. I'd suggest everyone do the same.

Yelp
My husband and I came here on a whim since the restaurant we wanted to go to didn't have any reservations available for the evening. I picked Queenie's since I saw good reviews on Yelp and I was able to get a last minute reservation. We were meeting a friend who was here from out of town and was visiting his mother who lives in Canton. First thing to mention is that this restaurant is located in downtown Canton and there is only street parking available. It was a Saturday evening and we were lucky to find a spot right at the corner. Upon arriving, we were quickly seated in a very spacious booth (at our request since we were with our toddler). We started out with 2 appetizers - House Biscuits (which come with 1) Pimento Cheese topped w/ Bacon Jam and 2) Herb Gravy) and Brisket & Cheese Fritters. Both were good but my favorite was the Herb Gravy that came with the biscuits. For entrees, I went with the Smoked Trout Salad. I wanted something light but make no mistake - this salad is HUGE!! It was delicious but it felt like it took forever to finish it. My husband had the fried chicken & herb gravy with a side of mashed potatoes and smoked cauliflower. I tried some of the cauliflower and it was really good. For dessert, I had the cookies and cream cheesecake, hubby had the pecan pie. You really can't go wrong with either of these options. FYI - there was no kids menu but they said they were able to create a "kids size" portion for anything on the menu so that's good to know. My son ended up having the grilled chicken and fries. Overall, we were really happy we stumbled upon this restaurant on Yelp and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
The price was high and the food was mediocre. Nothing really stood out. Do not recommend it.

Patrick M.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in downtown Canton. The vibe has a warm and cozy feel that's made better by a friendly, informed and attentive wait staff. We've been there many times and each of the dishes we have ordered have been delicious. A few standouts include their fried chicken, pan fried trout and charcuterie boards which go beyond the norm of what most restaurants offer. A great place for a dinner date, but also a great place for lunch.
google avatar

Sheri L.

Yelp
Tried this restaurant for the first time. I ordered a "medium" steak with sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes were very inconsistent. Some were mushy and since were crunchy. Even with that, the taste was pretty good. They had a slight spice to them but very edible. Now the steak.... For a $50 ribeye, I expected much much much much more! This steak is completely flavorless and overcooked . After a couple bites, I'm definitely NOT yearning to eat more!

Mark B.

Yelp
We arrived just before closing as it was our first time here. The Staff was super friendly. The food came out quickly and was absolutely perfect! Our best to the entire crew for staying a bit late and delivering the best!

Yelp
One word...SUPERB. Hubby had a Dr appointment in Canton today. We were hungry once he done and looked on Yelp for a place we'd never tried. Decided that the reviews and pics were tempting and made the decision to stop by. Hadn't visited downtown Canton prior and upon drive up and parking to the restaurant, it presented such a cozy and cute vibe. Upon arrival into Queenie's we were immediately greeted with a smiling face. Didn't get a name but she was super cute, sweet and had red hair. After we were seated, our server Kirsten came quickly and took our drink orders. Looking over the menu, we still were unsure of what to order as everything sounded delicious. So Kirsten gave suggestions and we inserted over those and while we figured out what we were ordering we decided on some appetizers. I got the pork rinds and Hubby got the fried brisket balls. Yum yum yum! Then we both decided on the pulled pork sandwich but he added pimento cheese and the bacon relish with the sweet potatoes. Y'all, those sweet potatoes were soft, sweet and packed with flavor. Chef's kiss! While Kirsten took her break, Emily came to check on us and she was just as sweet and attentive as Kirsten. What a treat! Everyone we came across was so friendly and a pleasure. Even met a lovely couple who were shocked by the large bowl of pork rinds I was attempting to decrease, lol. We only ate half our meal as we were trying to save room for dessert. I ordered the eggnog cheesecake and he ordered the white chocolate peppermint crème brûlée. Honestly the bourbon in the cheesecake took away much of the sweetness but if you take a spoon of crème brûlée with a spoon of cheesecake together it creates a flavor explosion! Hubby added a slice of the Coca Cola cake with coffee and truly enjoyed the flavor of that cake. Needless to say, we have leftovers for tonight's dinner. We definitely plan to return so that we can try more of the menu. Oops I almost forgot the biscuits. THE BISCUITS! How? Who? Where? Are some of what was said when we tried those. LOL They were soft and fluffy inside but crispy and buttery outside and so melt in your mouth delicious! Kudos to whomever created these dishes. Ok, I'm done. If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy Southern cuisine with a twist, this is your place..

Tim S.

Yelp
Food was great as was the service definitely will be back. Heck i might just pop in for dessert any time im passing by now!

Michael H.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience . Poor service with the hostess. Poor service with our waiter. Our Waiter neglected our table throughout our meal. My NY Strip was cooked to order but utterly bland. Pairing bland. Overall seasoning on food was unprofessional over all plates on the table. Careless and a waste of money.

Susan P.

Yelp
A friend that lives in Canton brought us here. I had a wedge salad and pinto beans. My friend had Brunswick stew that I shared in, The food was so good. Beautifully plated. Our waiter "Edwardo" was the best. Great ambiance, exceptional food, great selection of good and an overall great place.

Yelp
We LOVE Queenie's. Most of the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable, and the food is excellent. We like the fact that they have a core menu as well as seasonal treats. We just wish some of the seasons lasted longer. Their food is fairly priced and the portions are plentiful. You can go wrong with the Trout or the Fried Chicken.
google avatar

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
Excellent find! Right in the heart of downtown Canton, Queenie's is super cute and delicious. We were seated quickly and service was very friendly. The biscuits are quite good and the soft butter was perfect. A winning sign for me is that they specify on the menu that they use Duke's mayo. My husband got the smoked chicken salad sandwich - it was really tasty. I got a daily special, chicken and dumplings, and they were very good. I'm super picky about chicken and dumplings...it makes me mad when people try to pass off chicken soup with biscuits on top or sone other equally offensive imposter as chicken and dumplings. These were the real thing. I'd only further thicken them as personal preference. I wish I'd tried the Coca Cola cake. Next time. And the sweet tea is perfect.

Rick M.

Yelp
Went for lunch last week and food/service was great. Went back today for a late lunch and the 1st thing the server said was "How can I help you?" What? She sat us gave lunch menus but came right back and said "I'm sorry I gave you lunch menus but we stop serving lunch at three". We told here it was only 3:10 and we didn't want dinner. She gave us no option so we left for Salty Mule. Queenies website nor menus give any times for lunch. We'll go back but they need to realize how stupid that was
google avatar

Mark Y.

Yelp
Out of all the downtown Canton restaurants, this one is my favorite. They have very good southern style dishes and side options. The taste and preparation of the food is top notch. Service is always good and pricing reasonable.

Yelp
Just leaving after our first visit. I had the stuffed pork chop, collard greens and whipped potatoes. Wife had salmon, collards and a side salad, and I also had the black walnut old fashioned. Absolutely impressed! Good was amazing, atmosphere was great, and our server Jess was the best. Very accommodating and had great recommendations
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
Great service and a great bartender. Menu has a lot of southern food variety to choose from I recommend getting the Brussels sprouts as a side. Also try the Blackberry Mule, very tasty.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, good service, and good food. Cornbread was excellent. Pulled pork portion was generous though not as moist and tender as I would have expected though nice balance of inner meat and burnt outer sections for added smoked flavor. Very good selection of homemade sauces. Overall, enjoyable and I'll be back.

Yelp
My husband and I among with my parents had a wonderful anniversary lunch here. Our first time to try the restaurant and I will definitely go back. We tried an appetizer of grilled shrimp with corn and blackeyed peas. Entrees were pulled pork and carolina trout. Yum! Sides around included the really good sweet potato confi and brussel sprouts and greens. Had to try two deserts - banana pudding and chocolate mocha cheesecake. Totally delicious. Our server Emily was an absolute delight. Cheerful and helpful. A great lunch.

Yelp
I am gonna ask that Queenie's release my grand mother from their kitchen. Talk about Southern comfort food, this is the real deal. From lemon thyme trout to fried chicken and gravy good. I left feeling full from a Sunday dinner at grand moms house. Collard greens, field peas and ice cold drinks in a mason jar. If you can remember those times at the dinner table then this is absolutely the place you need to come dine at. Our waitress was on point, kind and very attentive, thank you Jaime. We will be back to see you and to continue our wonderful conversation. Don't skip on the dessert you'll be sorry if you do I recommend it all. If they tell you to come back do, it's so worth the food and conversation. Come hungry, eat and brag about how good it is. We sure did!!! JUNE 3, 2020- THEY ARE OPEN WITH DINNING IN OPTIONS AND THE BAR!!!!

Yelp
I wish that I could give it 10 stars.. Josh took care of us.. and didn't even crack too big of a smile when my wife asked what kind of soft drinks are served here? We are travelling, but I have a feeling that we will make room for another visit while we are here.. everything.. food..drinks..service were absolutely PHENOMINAL..

Yelp
The downtown Canton area is chock full of coole eateries. On my last night in town I ended up at Queenie's. It sound like a sandwich shop but it's a high-end Southern comfort bbq joint. It's owned by the same guy that owns a few other local restaurants including Goin' Coastal next door. I sat at the bar and Nick, the bartender, was an absolute pro. I started with a healthy pour of Basil Hayden bourbon over a large ice cube (a perfect mixer). Nick recommended a pork belly appetizer, served over grits with a mustard and sorghum glaze. Just amazing and quite filling. For my entree, I had the Thursday brisket special, pecan smoked, served with Brussels sprouts and Redneck lasagna. What's redneck lasagna? It's a bowl of Mac n cheese, topped with Bill's Brunswick stew. What's Bill's Brunswick stew? It's a beef and pork and corn mixture with the consistency of, well, a bowl of stew. The brisket was amazing, with a great smoke ring, thick bark and fork tender. The sprouts were quite good but unremarkable. The lasagna was hands down amazing. I could not come close to finishing. This place is top notch.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, excellent food and friendly servers. Deducted a star because of the "rush". The server was nice, helpful and friendly BUT she cleared my husbands plate, which was fine and then brought the check. I was still eating so the server should have shown respect for that. It was distracting and set a tone for hurry up and finish. Restaurant was not busy, we hadn't been there for a long time and they didn't need the table (no one waiting for a table).
