I have been dying for some good birria lately, and have wanted to try this place since their food truck days. I happened to check their Facebook page, and noticed tonight's special was $3 Quesabirria tacos. You order from the counter and they give you a table if you are dining in. They have a large variety of birria items on their menu besides tacos, from fries to ramen to Molcajete. They also do ther tacos as well, which were also $3 tonight. Asada, chorizo, pastor, and chicken were some of the choices. They also have shrimp tacos, but they were not included in the special tonight. The quesabirria were delicious, and came with an excellent salsa with just the right amount of heat in addition to the wonderful birria broth. We also ordered elote and esquires, but they screwed up and gave us both esquites. I didn't care, because I was messy enough from the tacos, so it was easier not to have to hold the cob, and enjoy the flavorful street corn with plenty of Cotija cheese. They offer these items with a crust of hot Cheetos or Takis as well, but we just went for the regular item. The food came out quickly, and not long after came my Michelada. I have had many disappointing Micheladas in various Mexican joints in the area, and usually they are ridiculously over priced as well. I just got a regular one, and it was the best I have had in a while! The presentation is great as well. I remember watching a Netflix series last year about Mexican Street food, and one of the episodes featured all these crazy Micheladas that were towering with all kinds of stuff, including candy! Quesaloco also has a Michelada with candy as well as a Shrimp Michelada. The restaurant had a steady stream of customers the entire time we were there, and after my first bite I could understand why. They have different specials all week, and I am already looking forward to my next visit. Definitely worth the drive from wherever you are. They also have another location recently opened on 436 in Apopka.
