Service is outstanding! You can literally taste the love in every bite honestly I will say the birria can be a bit fatty but overall the consume and bussin A$$ sauce makes up for it! The chicken was just ok. The rice and beans are very delicious. Please get the shrimp and birria taco it's the best thing on the menu. I almost forgot the Birria RAMEN!!!! It's soooo good and the cheese pull on it goes for miles lbs!!! The cashier in the front is literally the sweetest!

Tried for the first time after a friend’s recommendation. Went on a Saturday around 6pm and the place was packed. We luckily beat the worst of the dinner rush but still waited in line about 10 minutes and then waited another 35 minutes for the food after ordering takeout. The tacos are very big, we didn’t realize and ordered three per person but two per person is definitely enough food!

Absolutely must-try! Tacos 🌮 are on-point (though I would say get without cheese). These are pretty big — so one or two should do it! Get there early before 6pm as they sometimes run out of their glorious birria! Bonus: it’s halal! ☪️

It's one thing for food to taste good. But this tastes great. Each thing they make tastes like it was thought out and the presentation is beautiful. So...if you ever want some birria, be it on a taco or ramen, just come here. ❤️

Today's trip to Pilsen was magical. This small quaint spot is quite massive with their punch of flavor and service. We had a variety of foods and everything was so good. Walking in its small but, welcoming the young lady at the counter Merary was friendly and very helpful. She worked had leaving the tables, taking orders and making sure everyone was served with a smile. Can't wait to go back.

From the moment I walked in the workers were welcoming and inviting. They joked and made us just feel at home. The food was phenomenal and well worth the wait. Hands down will be back!

This place was rumored to be “the best birria restaurant in Chicago” and well.. it just may be just that. From the spectacular and attentive customer service I experience walking in to leaving out to the delicious, flavorful, great portioning, and mouth watering taste of their food they have me sold! Will Definitely be returning whenever I have a taste for Birria!

It's a classic neighborhood joint with lots of love, good food, and very nice people. It's like eating food made with love from your Grandma... I'm bringing my friends for this experience.. The cashier is so sweet and personable such a nice young lady..

I ordered 2 veggie and 2 beef. As Always delicious! It might be hot in there right now, but its worth the wait!

Where do I start.. I had high hopes for this place. I came in at opening (11:30 am) and it took nearly 20 minutes to receive my 3 tacos. You order at the kiosk so there's no interaction with the staff. There are four tables inside. Okay, so the food. I ordered 3 birria tacos. More is not always better. There was way too much meat and it was gamey which is uncharacteristic for beef. So unappetizing honestly. It doesn't need to be 90% meat. The consome had no flavor. And the sauces it comes with weren't any better. Super disappointing.

Salty salty salty. Rice, meat, consumme all so salty. Huge portion sizes with tons of meat but it's just so salty I couldn't eat any of it. May have been an off batch, but not for me.

Let me say this 10 out of 10. Absolutely delicious. The quesobirrias start at $6 each and are slightly discounted after buying 4 or more. But it is most definitely worth the price. They are HUGE. I have NEVER seen that much meat in a quesobirria. We ordered the beef and shrimp and the birria ramen. The shrimp are really big and they stuff them. The flavor is amazing. The beef was soooo juicy and tender. Just yummy. The birria had melted cheese and so much meat. The noodles was cooked perfectly. The service was pretty quick and they were really pleasant. The ambiance is very simple. Tney have a lot of inspirational quotes throughout. They have about 4 tables if you want to sot amd eat there. I will most definitely be going back.

I absolutely recommend this place a hidden gem with all outspoken love. The Birria is so delicious and hearty seasoned to perfection. The young lady perfected customer service very sweet and endearing. I have recommended this establishment to my co workers, family and friends. I plan to be a customer for a very long time. I must mention that the strawberry horchata was simply delicious. Next time I'll try the chicken and the shrimp if you in the area please try them out it's so filling and delicious...

I've said it once and I'll say it again, once you've had goat birria for breakfast on a street corner in Jalisco everything else pales in comparison. That being said, I enjoy trying them when I'm out and about on occasion. I got beef and shrimp. The shrimp was well cooked and well seasoned. I'm particular about when cheese can be with seafood and this was risk lol; I was pleasantly surprised. The beef was definitely the star of the show. It had those more traditional birria flavors you expect. The consomé was disappointing. None of the traditional taste profile and lacked depth; I could have done without it. The salsa verse was delicious. The food is prepared fresh to order and they gave free bottled water. It gets packed so expect a bit of a wait. I'd definitely return.

The food was so amazing!!!! I definitely recommend this place. The chicken, steak, and shrimp QUESABIRRIA tacos were all freaking amazing. The workers were so nice and friendly.

OMG!!! This is by far the best Birria meat I have ever had! So juicy and flavorful! I was able to request just the birria meat and rice in a plate. So delicious, I could eat it every day lol. The cashier was super sweet and helped make sure I got what I wanted. I will always come here when in town. Hole in the wall Gem!!

Amazing stuffed taco's with your choice of proteins. I choose the 6 pack, which means as the name states, 6 taco's with any protein which I decided to get is chicken, shrimp and beef. Instead of putting all the taco's in 1 basket, she divided the taco's by protein to their own basket which was easier to share. The tacos are a bit greasy and topped with melted cheese. the order comes with consume (soup) that you can use it to dip the taco's for more flavor but I did not use. Order comes with 1 oz of beans and rice. Overall, the food was spectacular and I would highly recommend.

These tacos are incredible! This is a new addition to my area and I had been wanting to check it out. I came with my sister for lunch and we both loved the beef Quesabirria tacos and consommé. The cheese was charred on the outside, the tacos were tender and juicy on the inside. This place is a small little hole in the wall, not much seating so takeout is a solid option. The cashier was very friendly and service was quick. Great addition to the neighborhood!

We we greeted right away by Inez introduced herself, welcomed us as first-timers. Order taken fairly quickly. Nice atmosphere, low-key music, menu not overwhelming. Food comes out hot and fresh. If you want your food in 5/10 minutes, eat elsewhere. This food takes a little time, and it reflects in the taste. Great bar options as well, reasonable prices. I'm glad you're in our neighborhood.

First time here, saw this place through Instagram. I've been searching for a place that serve birria in different protein before beef. I would say the price is reasonable. The favor is there but you get very full from the cheese. The broth needs a little more seasoning. The server was very friendly and helpful. Street parking.

I've had food from here multiple times. We typically order the birria and shrimp tacos. Personally, there's too much cheese so I remove probably at least half before I start eating. There's limited seating inside. I wish they provided salsa bottles for people dining indoors. I need that heat! You won't be disappointed. Payment is a bit funky, but they accept cash and Venmo.

This is one of the best meals I've had in recent memory and it's also such good value. I admit sometimes my five star reviews aren't all equal (some factor in vibes and wanting to support small businesses), but this is definitely my strongest five star review in recent history. The food is sooooooo good - I tried the birria, shrimp, and chicken tacos and all were delicious. My friend and I ordered 4 each but didn't realize how big they would be, and we definitely could have eaten 2 or 3 and been full. But we love delicious leftovers. The amount of meat they pack in these tacos is so much and again they are so good. This place was pretty crowded and only continued to get more crowded while we ate, and it's obvious why. Food is so good and this is a meal I would absolutely travel for (aka come to Pilsen specifically to eat this). Definitely get a birria taco, but the shrimp and chicken were both good. I love a simple menu where you can't go wrong with whatever you get. So we already know the food is already 5+ stars on its own, but the staff was also so nice. The man who took our order was so warm and good vibes. They don't take credit card, so plan accordingly. Seating is also first come first serve and there aren't a ton of tables, so I would avoid coming with a large group. Anyways, I could go on and on about how good this meal was but you just have to go. Delicious and delightful!

Pilsen has so many gems and this place is one of them! Friendly and welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere and delicious food! The tacos are absolutely delicious, the cheese has a long pull and the consomé is flavorful. The only reason I gave it four stars is because after spending several months in Mexico, I think it will be hard to find a place that made these as good as I had in Mexico. But these are pretty close!!!! We arrived at 4:45, but by 5:30 this place was packed with a line out the door. I highly recommend getting here early if you want a table to diner inside!

Absolutely loved this place! I had the chicken gyro and it was incredibly well-prepared--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I also tried boba tea for the first time and it was surprisingly tasty! As well as a traditional dish called Baba Ghanoush, very delish. Everything we ordered was fresh and exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was great, and the service was just as impressive. Highly recommend checking it out--you won't be disappointed! We will be back for sure.

3 words to describe my visit: Crunchy, Cheesy, Flavorful. The owner is so sweet, charismatic, and funny. His customer service is amazing. Everyone was singing along to Spanish music and it was really entertaining. It felt like I was at the "Carne Asada" I watched the owner with many customers after me and the customer service was just as great. He has a lot of energy! I tried the Carne QuesaBirria taco first and it was really flavorful. It was the crunch of the taco shells for me and the cheese pull was cinematic. I tried the Chicken QuesaBirria and it was delicious as well. My favorite sauce has to be the pink/orange one. It's sweet and tastes like chipotle peppers. The green salsa is good too, but it's a little spicy for me. The tacos are stuffed I ordered 3 but I could only finish 2. Of course I took the last one home for leftovers I finally have a new Quesabirria spot to enjoy. I will definitely be back.

WOW! Every bite was delicious and full of flavor, I literally left no crumbs. I appreciated how the tacos were stuffed and the meat wasn't skimped out on. I tried both the birria and shrimp; birria was juicy and the shrimp was just as good. The birria ramen was also great, but I think I prefer the tacos a lot more. Check this small, local restaurant out in Pilsen if you're craving something fried!

Freakin' delicious quesabirria. The meat was delicious. The cheese was delicious. The consomme was especially delicious. The shells were nicely crispy. The tacos were LOADED. 2 tacos ($5 each) is definitely enough for one person. Their salsas are also pretty good. Not a lot of seating, but if you do end up dining in you can get free water bottles.

Wow! Such amazing quesabirria tacos definitely one of the best in the city. They are absolutely STUFFED with so much meat and cheese honestly 2 tacos would've been enough for one portion I wish they would sell them in smaller quantities. The people there are so nice and they run a tiktok where they give you a chance to win free tacos. Not sure if they still have that but it's a cute idea for engagement.

I have no complaints about any of the food or service. Everything was delicious and the young lady at the register was very nice and helpful. The establishment is quaint. I went on a Sat and it wasn't busy as I expected it to be. I will definitely take a trip just to eat here.

There's few seats and tables inside and there weren't seats available when I went. The quesabirria is amazing. Ingredients tasted fresh. I enjoyed the shrimp more than the beef personally, the shrimp had a crunch to it. Each quesabirria was packed with protein/cheese and each has a double tortilla. Good value for the price, quality, and quantity. Would come back again and try to dine in. Service was nice and the wait was decent.

Came by with a Quesabirria craving and wasn't disappointed. There was a short wait wait on a Saturday afternoon, although the restaurant was busy the entire time. Interior is clean and there are bathrooms for use. There aren't a lot of tables (only four) so seating may be hard to come by if you intend to dine in. Most people seemed to do takeout. The staff were very friendly and food came out reasonably quick for how busy they were. The restaurant basically only sells the Quesabirria tacos, with three fillings of beef, shrimp, or chicken. All pricing is the same regardless of protein. Our tacos came with two salsas which were quite spicy and a side of consume for dipping. The tacos are large and come stuffed and oozing with melted mild cheese and generous protein. The corn tortillas are orange from being dipped and very crunch after getting on the grill. The tacos end up quite greasy as a result.

This place is so good. It was my first time trying quesabirria and I think I found my new favorite Mexican food. The restaurant is really small only a couple tables to sit at and they take your order at the counter. Payment was a little weird. It was on Venmo, but I'm down for the small business/ hole in the wall vibes! The Ramen was just OK I would stick to just the tacos. They were incredibly cheesy and crunchy and chewing all the right places. I will definitely be going back!

This place closes when ever it's sold out we come and try to get food here but the hours say it open but after we came by it's closed Restaurant should not sell out no matter how busy you are I'm not sure how a cardboard sign can tell me but instead have a website or tell us your closed

First time having quesabirria tacos and this was insane! The tacos were stuffed to the brim with really juicy, flavorful meat and cheese, and that's made even better by the sauce that you dip it in. It came with onions and cilantro and lime and salsa, which was all delicious. The shell was also crazy good as it was super crunchy. It truly blew my mind as I didn't know it was possible for tacos to taste this good. On top of all of that, we got 8 tacos for $20 and that was enough for 4 people. Talk about value! The inside of the restaurant was pretty small and it was very popular so there was a bit of a wait. The guy at the counter was very friendly and offered us free water bottles if we eat-in. Even though we ended up getting takeout anyways. I really can't wait to go back to this place. My mouth is watering just thinking about these tacos.

This place is LEGIT! If you're in the surrounding Chicago area, do a solid and make the drive here, it is SO worth it I promise you! I was SUPER excited to try these tacos. I found them on Apple Maps since we were staying in Bolingbrook. I've never been to New York, but both the guys I went with grew up in New York and they can confirm the area felt exactly like the Bronx. Get inside and you know, you just KNOW you're in for the real deal! Order with the owner and he was super cool. Wait a cool maybe 20 minutes or so before we get the food, all of us absolutely salivating at this point! You know the food is going to be good when there are only five tables at a place, those are just the rules, don't ask me I don't make them, I just follow them. I kid you not these are the best tacos I've ever had in my LIFE. One of the guys I was with, him, and his wife, make Birria tacos on the weekend, his only complaint, maybe I wouldn't even call it a complaint, just preference, is the sauce should be thicker, which I mean I could agree, but the flavor was THERE, juiciness THERE, freshness THERE. I was in complete heaven. This place is a must try! Also warning, ¡Cash only or Venmo!

After many yummy bites in Chicago, THIS was my favorite! It left a great impression with flavors. YUM! Lots of cheese and meat stuffed into a perfectly grilled tortilla. The place was crowded but the guy taking orders was hospitable and cheery. Overall, amazing experience and can't wait to go again!

My friends and I heard about this restaurant on TikTok, so on our trip to Chicago we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is definitely a carryout place but there were a few tables so you could sit at. The menu is very simple. The people working there were very nice, especially the guy at the counter. I wish I would've got his name. He was very nice and very patient with us when we asked a bunch of questions on what to order. He offered his recommendations and we tried them. The tacos were flavorful and full of meat and cheese. I also ordered the Birria Ramen which was very good. I will definitely be back when I come to the city.

I first saw them on social media and for the longest time been wanting to try them out. Finally, had the opportunity to do so and fortunately we were not disappointed. We got the 12 pack accompanied by their Jamaica and Horchata. The tacos were crispy/hearty, consomé flavorful, and salsas were done right. Green salsa had a kick like it's supposed too and the other one had a hint of sweetness which complemented the tacos. Service was stellar, very welcoming and great music in the background. Wife and kids loved it so we shall return.

Even though this place feels like a hole in the wall and has very eclectic design, the food is amazing and the service is top-notch. The birria tacos were absolutely amazing and I wanted to eat a dozen but couldn't have more than three. Next time I'm trying the birria ramen!

My partner and I had 4 Pack QuesaBirria Tacos and it was more than enough food for us -- we were stuffed. My partner is from California so the expectations for a Quesabirria is quite high -- and he was blown away. Hands down, this is now our favorite place for Quesabirrias. We will be coming back again and again. Service was excellent, the gentleman taking our order was very kind and attentive. The consume (soup) that comes with the Quesabirria is so flavorful - again, we will be coming back here for a long time!

AMAZING!! The food is tasty, fresh, and reasonably priced. A true neighborhood gem . You walk in, and you're greeted like a longtime friend who hasn't visited in a while. The aromas coming from the kitchen caused my mouth to water instantly. I wanted to try EVERYTHING. However, I was pressed for time and settled for a 4pk with an order of rice and beans. It was lunch hour, and although orders were coming in online and in-store, the food was served hot and in a timely manner. I'll certainly be returning. I advise you to check them out.

Arrived 20 minutes after they opened and waited about an hour in total for our food. This is a small establishment with limited seating so keep in mind, and plan to take to go. We had the chicken and birria tacos and they were 10/10. We also ordered a side of rice and did not like it.

What?! With all of these positive reviews, of course, I had high hopes and wanted this to be a new favorite place. I ordered the 4 pack -- super disappointed. Called in to place the order, told me 10m, and arrived and it took almost 40 minutes to get the order. Upon finally trying them, it's definitely filled which is a great sign. It looks good, and it's clearly crunchy. Overall, looks super appetizing like I expect it to be. First bite? Lack luster. Beef is tender and soft but that's about it. The flavor is not there... at all. Doesn't feel well seasoned. Consome? Literally has a single note of flavor, oregano with oil. Nothing else. It was so sad... I wanted to love this place based on reviews but this is absolutely a disappointment. EDIT: I was going to give this place one more chance, as I often do when the experience is not great. In my years of writing reviews, I've never had a business owner respond to me this way. In fact, it's almost always the opposite on how they can improve or to give them another chance. Long story short: Which is it? I showed up 10m as stated, not 1 hour late. How could I have been 1 hour late but waited 40mins? That would be an 1 hour and 40 mins. This is the definition of gaslighting. Besides, I write overwhelmingly positive reviews to support businesses -- not to tear them down.
