First timer here, and now an aspiring regular. To quote my partner “this was the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life!” We got the Garibaldi (pictured) , Pastor De Soya (our favorite), and a Tamale. All of which where amazing. It's hard to find a good vegan burrito that's the size if your head. Thank you for an amazing dinner :)

Google
Really nice vegetarian and mostly vegan Mexican restaurant. I wish there were a few more options that didn't revolve around mock meats, though I did find the mock meat fine. Love that nopales are featured! Pretty good deals for vegan/vegetarian. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. Food is also good, not in the area a lot but will definitely be stopping by again whenever I am!

Google
Quesadilla Reina del Sur is a wholesome establishment. There are several vegan options to choose from, and the vegan potato cheese is recommended. The ingredients appeared fresh and of good quality; they can overcook some dishes on occasion, but the food is satisfactory overall. A clean and comfortable establishment and the staff are very friendly and professional.

Google
The food was fantastic, a little expensive, but still tasted great! The portions are BIG, if you order a super burrito for $4 more. Cheese is an additional $4 more, but not worth it as it can’t be tasted in the burrito. It taste wonderful without it. The service was great, the server was friendly and helpful. It was a little hot in the restaurant. They had the front side open wich allowed for a great breeze to come in.

Google
Hands down the best Mexican food I have ever had. Everything seemed like it was made from scratch, even the vegan cheeses, and the flavors were perfectly developed. I loved the music they had playing, the plants hanging from the ceiling, and the friendly service. The only thing I’d change was for the salsa that comes with the free chips to be a little less spicy or have two, one that’s more mild. I wish I lived in Chicago because this would be my favorite spot.

Google
A nice looking Restaurant. I ordered a Mango Margarita. It was nice and strong. This was my first time here. My friend told me about a dish named "Torta Veggie Cubana" but when it was sat down in front of him I could tell something was wrong. He didn't say anything till after we ate. It had A Lot of beans. He told me it didn't taste the same at all. It didn't have enough lettuce. It basically tastes like beans on a white bun. I wasn't impressed.

Zach Raizen

Google
Excellent vegetarian food! The quesadillas are large and use more of a corn tortilla, adding a great texture and flavor. The vegan meats are all tasty, and having the option of real or vegan cheese of multiple kinds is great!

Calvin

Google
Really tasty and affordable food. Cocktail menu is robust. Staff is always great. The place would look even better if the lights matched color and were dimmed. A happy hour would also be awesome.

Yelp
We love this spot. Best chorizo tacos we've had. Oh, and their pozole verse on Sundays hits all the RIGHT spots. We've been coming to eat here for over a year now. They have a list of all the typical Mexican dishes, but they're vegetarian/vegan. Then after their Pilsen location closed, they acquired the liquor license and now they have DRANKS!! Guys, come eat here without the guilt! The location is space, has room/space for large parties, and they have even closed down their restaurants for catering larger parties. That picture is of two chorizo tacos and two Al pastor ... So delicious!

Yelp
This vegetarian Latino spot is SO good! It had a very unique menu and has a juice/smoothie. Plus a real bar for beers and cocktails. Great staff. A must try when you are driving down Western!

Yelp
The moment I entered the restaurant I was greeted with a smile. The place was not crowded and the place was clean. I ordered red chilaquiles with chicken and a chia lemon cucumber drink. The food was amazingly delicious and the best part was the red sauce, which was not spicy. The host was so nice he brought more red sauce to the table. I will definitely will be returning.

Yelp
Best vegan tacos I've ever had! The pork one was my fav of the three but they were all amazing

Yelp
Amazing food with taste bud blowing flavor. So good I wanted to lick the plate. Service was wonderful and attentive. Specialty drinks were very tasty and beautifully dressed up.

Yelp
What caught our eyes was the front window open and how vibrant the inside was! Love the pops of color. Service was quick and we got pastor de soya, chorizo de soya , and Xochimilco tacos, ranchera torta, classic and anti aging smoothies. The pastor one has pineapples and the Xochimilco was a random one I chose because I saw that it had cactus in it. Of the three I personally liked the chorizo taco. My friend does not recommend the ranchera torta because it was on the bland side. The smoothies were pretty good though. The classic one has grapefruit in it and now it's become my friends favorite fruit to add to her smoothies after trying it here! Also it's pretty cool that it's a vegetarian Mexican spot.

Yelp
I appreciate Quesedilla Pilsen's expansive and entirely vegetarian menu, which has a large range of soy-based meats from steak to pork to chicken to sausage. The interior seating is pretty casual, and the service is quick and friendly. Overall, I wasn't the biggest fan of their breads and tortillas for their tortas and quesadillas, but I enjoyed the flavors of the interior fillings. I ordered the Xochimilco Quesadilla, which contains steak soy meat, onion, tomato, cactus, and mushroom. The outer tortilla was a little too thick and dry in texture for my liking, but the soy meat inside tasted pretty good. I also had the Veggie Cubana Torta, which contains soy Mexican sausage, soy bacon, and soy chicken. Again, the bread was too dry and thick for my liking-- the ratio of filling to bread as a bit off to me. But the soy meats along with the sauce and veggies inside were flavorful. They also provide complimentary chips and salsa for the table, which is nice. The prices are pretty affordable too, so I'd be interested in coming back in the future to try their other menu items, many of which looked good and were hard to choose between. -- Price (relative to peers): 4.3/5 Food: 4/5 Ambience: 4.5/5 Service: 4.8/5 Overall Value: 4.2/5

Yelp
This was a religious experience. I transcended when I had the vegetales quesadilla. I didn't want the quesadilla to end but unfortunately, like all good things, it did. I guess I'll just have to fly back to Chicago to have another.

Yelp
I was excited to find a vegetarian/vegan Mexican restaurant near Concord Music Hall. Quesadilla was walkable and made for a great pre-show dinner. I really enjoyed the vegetable burrito (included tomatoes, carrots, broccoli and more). My older daughter really enjoy a quesadilla with the soy chorizo crumbles. My younger daughter got a basic cheese only quesadilla. Quesadilla was marked as $ on Yelp, but should really be $$ for price. It is sit down and you should expect to pay $10-20 per person for food/entree.

Yelp
2nd time here. Food is so good! We got the quesadillas and it was really good. The tinga "meat" is delicious. - great for meat and non meat eaters. Will be coming back!

Yelp
The staff is very nice and the vibe is cool. I went in for a take out order. The amount of food received was good for the price. They did mess up my order. I ordered 3 tamales (2 green salsa and another that was not on the menu)...they gave me only 1 green salsa and 2 of the off menu ones. I really didn't enjoy the flavor. I also ordered the huaraches made with asada. It is huge and you're able to share this plate. The texture was my least favorite part and did not taste at all of asada. My brother wanted the asada tacos and it was the same with the flavor and texture of these. My sister in law ordered the flautas, and those were good. Overall I was really not pleased and won't return. I rather make the trip to Healthy Substance for some tastier tacos!

Yelp
I miss tacos de al pastor and carne asada, as a vegetarian for the last 25 years. But this restaurant satiates that thirst. Delicious!

Yelp
We weren't even planning to go here and it turned out to be a gem. First off, it was welcoming in there. The service was top notch!! They answered all my questions about the menu options and the food came out fast. 5 stars - Tacos. Authentic and quality street taco style. But larger in size. We definitely left here feeling satisfied with all the flavors. The tacos were constructed with double corn tortilla, a lot of meat filling, and topped with cilantro and onions. 5 stars - Pastor taco. My favorite. It was so flavorful. The meat alternative was tender yet had a nice chew to it. There were small pieces of pineapple that complimented the savory pastor flavor really well. I would go back and order this again! 5 stars - Tinga taco. Also my favorite. The flavor was smoky and savory. They season their meats well, and they strike a good balance with their flavors. This one was a little spicy, but not too much. 5 stars - Chorizo taco. So yummy. I had a bite of this one and it was wonderful. Instantly regretted not ordering a whole one for myself. It had this chipotle smoky flavor. And better than other plant based chorizos I've had. Extra credit goes to the pickled salsa they brought to the table. It was spicy though. And I can handle heat. However, because of it's spice and citrusy flavor it was a great add to the tacos! As you can see, I really enjoyed this place. This place is in my list of favorites for Chicago.

Yelp
It is vegetarian. So know that before you go in. That being said, the atmosphere is adorable. The staff was lovely. The food was plentiful and we couldn't finish it. The price is extremely reasonable, and it tasted very fresh.

Yelp
so great to have a vegetarian place in the area with so many options! staff is friendly

Adam S.

Yelp
First off, the staff were very nice and helpful. They were quick to answer questions and made suggestions as we ordered. Very good experience. Second, the food. We did not know it was a vegetarian place when we walked in. I am the furtherest thing from a vegetarian as you will find. I ordered the Asada de Soya Quesadilla with a side of fries. (I ordered with regular cheese, not the vegan cheese). The taste was beyond my expectations. The closest taste/texture to real meat I've ever had! Summary: Great Food and Great Service. Even if you are not a Vegetarian or Vegan. Take it from a mostly Carnivore!

Yelp
This place is delicious! The breakfast, tacos, tortas, and burritos are hearty and flavorful. The vegan options are endless. The breakfast tofu soyrizo I got was amazing. It's a lot of food so you will definitely be stuffed by the time your done. With so many options on their menu this restaurant is great to bring friends and family. They will have something for everyone. Food Instagram: @vegangirl_chicago

Yelp
The best Mexican Vegan and Vegetarian food of all time. If you go anywhere in the states looking for good all vegan and vegetarian Mexican food this is the spot. Even you go to the most expensive Mexican restaurant this spot beats all of that. Literally I mean it. The spot is the best ever. I Coming in, you feel a earthy vibe. Everyone is super duper friendly. If you have questions they will help you out. And recommend what to get. From the chip and salsa. Yes the salsa is spicy. In a good way. Where you can tell they made it. To the food, where the species, favours and to last bit of everything is beyond amazing. They way they cook the food and showing there love, care and affection. Yes it is vegan, vegetarian and GF options too. It is open seating. Take out is also welcome too.

Yelp
I never write yelp reviews but this gem was too good to not acknowledge and share! I had the barbacoa quesadilla with vegan potato based cheese as per recommended to me by the staff. The seasoning, texture, presentation and portion size were above and beyond any expectations I had! Everyone was super nice and helpful with addressing any questions I had! I will definitely be coming back when they move locations :)
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect place for a FOOD COMA. There are sooooo many options of authentic Mexican food that is sooo hard to choose from! I will definitely be returning when in Chicago again!

Mike N Anne ..

Yelp
I remember this place being really good back in the day. We ordered it recently for delivery and it was totally different. Not sure why. The flavors weren't as good as I remember, and I don't think it transported well.

Yelp
Sometime ago I discovered Quesadilla La Reyna del Sur while driving down Western Avenue en-route to work; its vegan food logo caught my eye. While searching through reviews via Yelp I noted that it was endorsed by Yelpers Dan H, Angela S, and Khadijah H who I am connected with. The day of my order I ordered takeout via Yelp which is very convenient if you know what you want beforehand. On the menu, the food options were lengthy, but very readable! I ended up ordering an Asada de Soya Quesadilla with a Cheesecake de Tofu, and a pineapple Mexican bottled soda. Only options for parking were either neighborhood or along Western Avenue. If you are planning to dine-in, I advise you to evaluate when you visit because you may end up parking further out in the neighborhood like I; open parking spots are a hit-or-miss. As expected my food was ready, waiting for me at the register upon arrival for pick-up with just a verification of my name. I left with my order just as quickly as I entered the restaurant which is why I love ordering online. There was leakage coming from my bag which I caught prior to taking my quesadillas out of my bag. Ay-ay-ay! As a customer one thing the restaurant can do is assure that orders are sealed tight beforehand or even place something to catch anything that possibly leaks. The Asada de Soya Quesadillas were huge! Not as flavorful as I had hoped, but edible! I ended up eating only one of them and saving the other for later. As for the Cheesecake de Tofu, I can't say it was bad, but the thought of either strawberries, cherries, or chocolate being drenched all over it would have made it freaking amazing! Not bad though for it being Tofu because I had no idea what to expect prior to ordering. All in all, other than the slight leakage I had a satisfying ordering experience. If you are looking for Mexican vegetarian cuisine options look no further than Quesadilla La Reyna del Sur. ~Blessings~   Thomas G

Yelp
Very small portions. Waitress lied about pricing and when trying to clarify, made us pay the "updated" price. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Yelp says that they need my help in letting the community decide about this place. No! The community has already decided that it's a great place and I concur! There, done, sheesh. ;-) Joking aside, this is a fun place with delicious vegetarian and vegan food, counter style, but with table service. By dining here, you too can be a quesadilla queen/king of the south, oh wowie zowie, though I don't believe that signing up for the monarchy is a requirement, though I'll sock you if you try to swipe away my tiara! Don't even think about it. We tried lots of food here. We started off our night right with nachos, which were a huge mound of veggies on top of tortilla chips... the bigger, the better, in this case. For our meals, we got burritos and huaraches, each with a different style of veggie protein. I stuck with the regular (not super) burrito and it was plenty of little soy burro for me. The huarache was also on the large side and equally delicious. I beleive that I got the soy lamb on the burrito and soy steak on the huarache, if you're keeping score at home or wherever you're reading this drawn-out diatribe, cough. The final score was soy steak 7, soy lamb 6... or I had had an oh-so slight preference for the soy steak. Dessert was a tres leches cake and I believe that it is vegan (or it uses almond milk in place of dairy, at least). It's one of the best out there. All in all we had a fun night out and I can't wait to come back!

Alison C.

Yelp
I've known about this place for years and finally got takeout tonight. Holy bleep. The tacos were unbelievable. I never understood the meat + corn tortilla + cilantro + onion thing because I didn't eat meat and any substitute always tested boring. Then I went to Mexico City last year and had the best vegan tacos and my life was changed. And these tacos are better than those tacos. There, I said it. The pastor and asada were my favorite but the tinga was also delicious. The torta and tamale were good but the tacos were...I don't know, they left me speechless. Do yourself a favor and eat them.
google avatar

Kendra W.

Yelp
This is my second time dining here, so I can say with confidence that the food is underwhelming. Both times, my dining mates were underwhelmed with their selections, as was I and the guacamole is the absolutely worse guacamole I've ever had. It even looks unappetizing. The waitress was pleasant, which is why I gave them two stars. That's my two cents.. Cheers!
google avatar

Sophie M.

Yelp
It's always exciting to vegetarian al pastor on a menu. Portions are large and the food is always good. Lots of different soy meat options that even the meat eaters I've taken here love. The renovated space is airier and well-decorated, too.
google avatar

Felonius M.

Yelp
Good service! Good fresh ingredients! Very tasty! Grabbed three vegetable tacos with cheese for lunch. Ready very quickly!

Samantha L.

Yelp
I was absolutely THRILLED to find out they had opened a Pilsen location, and it did not disappoint. As a vegetarian who loves Mexican cuisine, this place is a dream come true. All the food is excellent. Carnitas tacos are to die for. The ambience is super cool and can't wait to come back to enjoy the Thursday night karaoke, brunch, the bar - all the things! Plus the staff is awesome - friendly and helpful. Can't wait to be a repeat customer.

Yelp
Pictures don't lie. Please take a look at the photos I took of the foods we ordered on our first visit to La Reyna. Looked like the real thing, right? They got the texture of chicharron, carne asada, and tingga right. Our tacos were delicious (even my carnivore daughter and friend actually said that they weren't bad at all. Would they eat vegan everyday? Daughter said highly doubtable LoL but this was a good start). So many choices! I took pictures of the extensive menu--from appetizers, to tacos, quesadillas, tortas, burritos, caldo (soup), and even postres (dessert). I once tried (and failed) going vegan, several moons ago. I ate mostly raw veggies and bean sprouts, a lot of green smoothies, too. After a while, eating these foods were no longer fun nor satisfying. Although this time around of going vegan, I am still slightly conflicted about eating vegan foods that still look like real hamburgers, steaks, chicken nuggets, or fish sticks, I have to concede that this makes the plant-based foods taste more palatable. It does make the transition from being a meat-eater to a plant eater somewhat more smoothly. By the way, La Reyna was voted top three of vegetarian restaurants in 2016 by Chicago Veg. I will be back for sure!
google avatar

Courtney C.

Yelp
This place is a classic that recently opened a new location next door to their old (which, btw had around a thousand reviews...? Yelp, can we get those back for them?) the new space is inviting, more spacious, but has the same food you know and love (or should if you haven't tried it!) Try anything that speaks to you. There are no bad options. If you want a variety, get a few different tacos! Also, always get horchata. Enjoy!
google avatar

Mark T.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Nothing more or less to say. As a vegetarian of 10 years, I would recommend the food to anyone. It was fresh, flavorful, and juicy (without being over the top). That said, the service was lacking and was enough to outweigh the restaurant not getting 5 stars. When I went, we asked for water, and we did not get it until after our chips, food, and margaritas came (and asking two more times). We also had to ask for napkins because they were not at our table or provided to us with the food. The drinks were okay, but nothing to write home about. There are a few options to choose from, but they tasted more like mixed drinks than fresh margaritas. The jalapeño margarita was not spicy, but the rim both drinks had provided a bit of a kick.

Yelp
Wow what a great hidden gem in Bucktown ! The place is super small and had people in and out consistently , but I'm not surprised based on the quality of the food . I'm not vegetarian but had you given this to me and told me it was real meat I would have believed you. The tacos were filled with flavor! And authentic . The chips and guacamole were also great . Due to the business the food did take a bit to come out. But worth the wait Also try the cheesecake - it's got a wild texture .

Yelp
Stopped in here last week and was blown away at the expansive nature of the menu. They do a TON of variation with a core group of ingredients, which is always wonderful to see. The xochimilco burrito was one of the best vegetarian burritos I have EVER had, and was the size of my head! Had half for dinner, half for lunch the next day, and 2 full meals that were so wildly satisfying, filling, and delicious in every bite.
google avatar

Alejandra F.

Yelp
The two locations are amazing. The service is just perfect. They are very kind. The food es soooo delicious!!! Since I discovered them, I stop by or place a order for delivery at least once a week. You must try the "chicharrones" ssooo good!! Las carnitas, yummy. Everything. I'll stop, I am getting hungry.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican vegan food Love it here, very polite staff, Great service, Issa vibe.

Yelp
Me and my partner came in excited to try Mexican vegan. I ordered the mole poblano and a Pastor quesadilla my partner got chiles Rellenos all the food was pretty delicious. Even their smoothies are very good. I recommend this place for people that are tired of eating salads and are looking for something that mimics traditional food.

Khadijah H.

Yelp
I loved this vegan establishment. It's amazing! I love vegan food and I definitely love trying new places. I went here on a Thursday evening for dinner with a vegetarian friend of mine. Upon entering, the delicious spices wake your senses. You really would not be able to tell this place was vegan. I order three American style tacos. I got tinga, carnitas and pastor. Chileeeeee this place is amazing! I couldn't tell which was which but it didn't matter. I recommend this place to any individual who is interested in going vegan, or just interested in trying a vegan dish. The male hostess and server was incredibly knowledgeable about the food choices on the menu. But he was also very informative about the vegan life style choice in general. He really took the time to explain how the restaurant cooks and marinate their vegan meat options.

Yelp
Amazing option for vegan Mexican food. I have been here a total of four times now and have not been disappointed. I have brought many of my friends here both vegan and not. Everyone loves this place. I typically order three tacos with a side of rice and beans. The options are seriously endless. It makes it so hard to choose!!! Although, I have to say the vegetable taco and garibaldi are my go-to options. The vegetable taco is SO well-seasoned. The garibaldi taco has soy-based steak with onion, tomato, jalapeño pepper and mushroom. It has a mild spice, nothing too crazy. The soy-based steak has an amazing texture. I can proudly say this is one of my staple vegan spots in Chicago! Keep making awesome food

Yelp
soo good! i'm glad to have found a mexican place that has so many vegan meat options! i had the mole and it was delicious, portions were big which was nice for lunch the next day. salsas had good flavor as well, good for a plain taco. service was good and they were quick to get our meals out.

Brenda D.

Yelp
When I was vegan, this place was my absolute favorite. I would make an hour drive just to come and eat their food. It's that good!!! now I'm back to eating meat and I still love this place just as much as!! Super authentic Mexican food, with a twist

Yelp
I ordered takeout on their actual website because you get reward points! Pretty awesome. Let's get to it - I tried four of their tacos: - Pollo de Soya c/Nopalitos: Soy-based chicken with cactus - Chicharron: Vegetable based protein pork skin - Pastor de soya: Soy-based marinated grilled pork - Garibaldi: Soy-based steak with onion, tomato, jalapeno pepper and mushrooms Each of the tacos had exceptional flavor. I haven't had meat in years and these hit the spot. I can't rank the tacos by taste because each one was a gem to bite into. The most memorable tasting taco though is the Pollo de Soya c/Nopalitos because of the texture and taste that the cactus brung. Along with the tacos, I ordered a tamale which was filled with soy chicken. It's a good size and I'd get that the next time I order from here again because I was able to save half of it for the next day. Dessert? Platanos Maduros con Crema: fried plantains with soy vegan cream. Nice bed of plantains covered in cream = a bundle of goodness. Topped everything off with a Tamarind Jarritos. I ordered around dinnertime on a weekday and even though their website recommended that the food would be ready in 15-25 minutes, I feel that I waited an extra 10 which is fine by me. The staff was busy in the back filling orders and people kept coming in and out to pick them up which is awesome. I'll be back to support this small business soon, as should you if you're in the area! Vegetarian and vegan friendly menu is always a plus.

Yelp
We have eaten at this restaurant a couple of years ago and it was delicious. This time around we had to leave due to food allergy concerns with peanuts on the menu.

Yelp
Very impressed! Everything on the menu is vegetarian, portions are plenty, and the food was flavorful and tasted great. Non-vegetarians would not even miss the meat. We are definitely coming back for more.

Yelp
Pure deliciousness. I can't recommend enough. Perfect vegan Mexican food. I wish I could find more restaurants like this. If I lived in Chicago, I would eat here everyday. We started off with a large horchata to share which was good. The chips and salsa were just okay. I like chips that are more fresh and the salsa wasn't anything special. However, our entrees on the other hand, were AMAZING. We got lamb enchiladas with almond cheese and chorizo quesadillas with potato cheese. We weren't sure which cheese to choose for each so we went with our waiter's recommendation and he was spot on. We choose the lamb on the basis of never having had and chorizo in quesadillas sounded interesting. We got both in combination plates so they came with some lettuce, beans, and rice. I love a little lettuce with my Mexican entrees so I'm glad this is one of those places. I'm from LA so I have a high standard for Mexican food, especially since I went vegan later in life so I know what Mexican food with real cheese tastes like. Quesadilla La Reina Del Sur completely lives up. I was also very excited to try the vegan desserts but we were too stuffed. I was eyeing the tres leches cake. Next time I'm in Chicago, I will guaranteed be back. Also shoutout to our super helpful waiter and his great service. I'm a huge fan. Go eat the best Mexican food you've ever had now!

Yelp
My final meal living in Logan Square, and I honestly could not have picked a more better establishment. Quesadilla La Reyna del Sur was ahead of its time when it opened its doors back in the early 90s, for it being a meatless yet very authentic outlet for Mexican cuisine. When it comes to vegetarian/vegan foods, I feel that it has to be the toughest obstacle to hurdle over when you're a fan of Mexican food. These guys understood that assignment and continue to do so to this day! We're talking pages of vegan dishes, specials, sides and then some for those healthy patrons who want a couple tacos for dinner. That's what I'm talking about! I love a place with specials. Makes it easier for me to decide on what I want to eat. Not only that, I recognize that places such as Quesadilla put their heart and soul into all their dishes, especially their specials, so I do what I can to acknowledge those highlights. Boy was I glad I did, cause Thursday nights are nopales con carne asada de soyo nights! Man, did that meal go down good, with some salsa verde all over. You might have passed this restaurant driving down Western but never noticed. It's a bit lowkey despite its green facade, but walk through those doors and you're greeted by loving people. Sit down or takeout, you're gonna enjoy this meal. I don't think there are many restaurants like this in Chicago so take advantage of its individuality. Happy to see it is still in operation after nearly 30 years. ¡Felicitaciones!

Yelp
Great addition to the neighborhood. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Even if you are a meat eater, you will enjoy the traditional Mexican dishes.

Yelp
I absolutely love everyone here! From the fresh ingredients and drinks to the overly friendly staff and owner. Please continue to support this establishment any way you can! I ordered a "carnitas" huarache which was made of soy carnita meat and it made me cry!!

Yelp
Wonderful hole in wall restaurant that puts a unique vegetarian twist on authentic Mexican food! There are several reasons I love this place: 1. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and can be made vegan for a healthy alternative or can accommodate for any dietary restrictions 2. The soy meats are VERY flavorful and the consistency is similar to real meat but they don't all taste the same - the soy chorizo tasted very different from the soy barbacoa and both were amazing 3. The hours! 10-11 pm on weekdays?! I could go for breakfast, lunch, dinner and an almost midnight snack ;) I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because their entrees were so so good. After we got our meals though (which was really quick), the waitress had forgotten about us and we had to go to the front multiple times to grab her attention. Also, we ordered the tres leches and tofu cheesecake and neither tasted fresh and the crust of the cheesecake was burnt. I was looking forward to the desserts because other yelpers had such great things to say about them so I feel like today was just an off day for them. Overall, amazing place and I will definitely be back!
