What a great new addition to the Mission Bay neighborhood! A great location for locals that want to walk and not have to deal with parking & traffic. The Fish & Chips were hot and delicious. The burger on a dog bun was cooked perfectly. Prices are reasonable for the slightly smaller portions. The staff is very helpful and accurate on the suggestions. We sat in the sports bar surrounded by TVs. I will go back and highly recommend you try it for yourself. The beer is a real bargain.

Happy to have Quik Dog finally open! The QD smash Burger and Kale salad are definitely worth it. The bar area is huge inside too and next to the regular family friendly dining area. There lots of space outside too which will be great in the warmer months with our dog. Haven't tried their cocktails yet, but beer/wine selection is nice

Don't miss the hidden full cocktail inside the back: cleanest restrooms in SF, luscious libations, terrific Tenders of the bar, full food menu available, game sound on, cushioned bar stool seating only in bar (no seat backs). Can't wait for them to stay open past 9pm! Try the phenomenal fried chicken thighs!

Quik Dog is a fun spot for casual American food in Mission Rock. The interior has a retro-modern look with bold red and blue accents throughout, so it feels playful but still refined. It is also worth noting that they have generous seating available outside in the adjacent park area. The food is exactly what you’d expect from a burger and hot dog joint, but the real standout for me was the kale salad. The dressing was perfectly balanced and they were very generous with the parmesan. It is the kind of place where you feel comfortable whether you are dining solo, with family, or in a big group. While the bar was pretty quiet when I visited, I can see the energy picking up once the Giants are back in season and the winter gloom lifts. The bar area actually feels a bit more cozy with its moody lighting and wooden tables, especially compared to the dining room which feels a little more like a cafeteria. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Happen to be riding by on their opening day so I stopped in right as they opened. I’ve been walking by this place for months waiting for them to open up. They had a busy first hour open, big crowds and good sized line of people ordering. I ordered the smash burger, fries , and chocolate shake for about $33. Took ~25 minutes for food to be ready during their busy lunch rush. Food was fine. Burger the long way in a hotdog bun is something new. Fries and shake were fine as well. I’ll probably stop by again and try out their actual hot dog next time. I’m sure this place will be popular on baseball game days next spring/summer.

January 2025: Tried the loaded fries and the fried chicken sandwich. Very tasty options. Came here for happy hour. Nice to get $1 off on my Henhouse hazy IPA 😄. Will be back for more. January 2025: Second time eating here and enjoyed my meal. Came just before 6pm so made their happy hour. Had a henhouse hazy IPA and enjoyed it. My wife had a mixed drink and she liked it too. Ordered the fish tacos and the smash burger. Both were very tasty. I liked the smash burger better. Nice char caramelized beef flavor. Would get this again. Fries 🍟 came with a delicious dip. Would get the fries again too. The first time I came here, I had the veggie burger. I thought it was tasty too. I'd get that again too! Overall, nice addition to the neighborhood.

Very overpriced. Basic burger is $14 by itself and looks and tastes like an average beef patty thrown on top of a Costco hotdog bun. For $14, you would expect a bit more than that. A soft drink is $6 which is insane. The kale salad was okay, but I added the grilled chicken and the chicken was tough and cold. They have hot chicken items on the menu so why not put some on the salad? The salad was also missing the avocado to top it all off. Atmosphere was nice. I assume the close proximity to the stadium drives up prices, but other restaurants nearby at least have better tasting food with similar or even cheaper prices. I work nearby and was excited for a new option, but the price and quality of food at this restaurant will keep me away.

Got 3 quik dogs and 1 veggie dog made with field roast. My kids and husband loved their hot dogs (omitted jalapeno spread for 1 kid and my younger one just ate a plain hot dog) and I had the field roast veggie dog. The onions & peppers were excellent. Love the design of the space and the branding so much, I bought a tshirt for my girls to rock at school. Also, if you like drinking the alcohol menu looks impressive (as one would expect given the pedigree of the team behind this establishment, Trick Dog Bar). We look forward to going back & visiting again.

Might be my new favorite burger joint. I should say though, I haven't tried a burger from here yet. My wife and I stopped by for a quick snack between meals. We decided on a hot dog, and the person behind the counter said that they could cut it in half for us. It was nice of her to offer. There was plenty of seating inside, and everything looked clean. It's a newly renovated space, set up with TVs to watch the game. We took a cozy, two-person booth. While we were waiting, a staff member came by to give us water and he also checked in other diners. The Mission Dog that we got was a decent size and tasty. I usually don't like bacon in hot dogs or burgers, but this one worked well with the beef sausage. The sautéed onion and jalapeño spread added a sweet, savory, and spicy mix to every bite. The prime location, friendly staff, and clean interior make it very easy for me to say that we'll be back. And next time, I plan to try a burger with a full meal.

I have bene looking forward to trying this place for so long, since about Summer of 2025, when I first saw them building it. It is quite slow now, and the owners are probably itching to see a good baseball crowd come through. I hope they are successful, come March, 2026. I stopped by to see what all the barking was about, what little there is. I'll start with the positive. Big restaurant, LOADS OF SEATS. Loads of space, loads of bright colors. Reminded me of a classy Hot Dog on a Stick, with 10,000 more square footage. If that wasn't enough, you got around the bend, and see even more seats with a full, thriving bar. Tons of bottles. Tons of alcohol. My eyes popped out, it was so plentiful. Certainly not what I expected to see in a Fast Food joint. Very impressive. I ordered a Mission Dog $13.00 and Garlic Fries $11.00 Shakes were $9.00 but I passed on that. And now we get to the main issue. Prices. I have to say the Mission dog was OUTSTANDING! It was so delicious and filling. I'm not certain that $13 was a price that was fair. I believe 9.99 or something lower? $13???? Hmmm $10 for the Garlic Fries. I ate these along my walk to my workplace, down the street at Chase. I was ready to get a taste of the most delectable, crunchy garlic fries, ever! Uhhh no! Hated them. Way too salty! Not garlicy enough. I could definitely taste a bit, but certainly not enough. And then the real test of "gourmet garlic fries" saving them and trying them the next day. That's a great treat, and good gourmet burger fries, never fail to last the "delicious test" until you finish them the next day. Nope! Didn't make it even 24 hours. Horrible! Hated them!!! I'm really glad now I didn't try the shake. $9.00 price? Huh? And I just checked the website, it's "$10.00" for a milkshake? Huh? And it's one of the short see-thru plastic cups, which are very short. Hard pass! $9.00 was high enough, if it's really $10 in the store, than subtract another 1/2 star. I don't think I'll be back, for me it's the lousy value for your money. High prices coupled with horrible taste is a hard pass for me. I did enjoy the hot dog, their signature meal item, and that's why I gave it 3 stars, but meh on all the other issues, I mentioned.

Huge Bay windows and a friendly vibe. This is a mix of fast food restaurant with cocktails & beer. Super close to the Giants baseball stadium too, which makes it a good stop for pregame/post game eats and libations. Another plus is its proximity to China basin Park with its outstanding views. Get your food to go and find a patch of sunlight.

Was excited for the standalone to open but it was a major disappointment. The new online menu doesn't match their website and doesn't even offer same items/customizations as previous iteration. The worst part was we tried the smash burgers (because the original Quik dog burger you can't order online for some reason...) and the meat tasted/smelled 'off' and was basically inedible (we stopped after a few bites). Somewhat worried it may make us ill prompting this review. We won't be returning for some time after they can hopefully fix these issues.

I was so excited for this standalone to the uber-popular Trick Dog bar. But it's a gimmick with very little more to it. The gimmick is burgers shaped like hot dogs, which does make it easier to eat while walking, but doesn't add anything to the flavor. The meat is good, which is reflected in the price. I also went to the nuggets, which were too breaded for me and needed extra sauce. What I appreciated was the good service, the cute location, and the menu with clear details on allergens. But I don't need to come back even though I'm glad i tried it and got it out of my system.

Pretty decent hot dog shaped burger. What lost a star for me was the price. Expecting more flavor from the beef itself and maybe even a little bit more given that it cost $14 to get the thing but it just tasted like a Big Mac to me...which is cheaper. Garlic fries were bomb so you should definitely try those if you're into garlic! The quantity could've been bigger given that it was legit $10 for maybe 2 cups of fries so not a good value. QD got four stars because of the taste of the fries were that impressive and crunchy. Overall, too pricey for a regular lunch joint but if you're on the rush for lunch, they don't take long to cook your food.

The place was empty but everyone was nice and still checked on us. We ordered 2 Quik Dogs and 1 fry. $48.95 with 20% tip! It was delicious! It was the perfect messy size! Unfortunately, it was so good I didn't stop to take a pic!

When I heard trick dog was opening a hot dog joint I was so excited as a long time lover of the bar - this is mainly a review of the famous kale salad but as a well known salad hater this is the only salad I will set aside my differences for. I don't know what they put in it but I could eat it everyday all day. If you have to order one thing, you CANNOT go wrong with the kale salad. Famous for a reason.

Walked over on a Sunday afternoon and ordered the mini corn dogs, slam burger, and nuggets. The Burger and Corn dogs were fire! The burger was served on a sesame hot dog bun. The mini corn dogs corn batter was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would def come back again!

I ordered the fish tacos and they were delicious It's super clean and convenient in a pretty area Took about ten minutes

Came here for a quick drink and bite but stayed for the amazing bartenders. Make sure to catch drew and Cyrus behind the bar they made delightful drinks and were so personable. The food was stellar I got the chicken sando, it was definitely the cherry on top to a great Sunday night

I can't say enough. Cocktails were amazing. Kale salad was beyond. Literally everything that we ordered was perfect. It was shockingly good and can't wait to come back. It's the kind of place that I don't think anyone would be displeased. NA drinks for sober friends. Mini corndogs for kids. Salads, burgers, great beer. Just the best.

Incredible! Love their mixed drinks. Especially the Elderflower cocktail. plus, their food is outstanding. Kale salad wrap and the hot dog are my favorites. outstanding flavor

Ate here last night before Warriors game-amazing burgers and drinks. It's gonna get super popular so go now before the crowds. Will be back!

I was pleasantly surprised with the food, and their burger is entirely unique. I think I actually prefer a burger on a hotdog bun now that I've been there. The cocktails are also a must try.

Visited Trick dog on NYE around 6:30pm. Walked in as a group of 3 and grabbed a seat at the bar. There were tables and seats upstairs as well outside in the parklet we just prefered the bar. Food: Quik Nuggets - a hefty portion of battered and fried boneless chicken breast and thigh piece, served with ketchup and aioli, batter was crisp, not greasy and seasoned well QD fries - these were thick cut fries, on the crispier side, also served with ketchup and aioli, good but personally prefer thinner fries Quik Burger - delicious, a hot dog shaped burger was a fun twist, beef was well seasoned, cooked medium, bun was toasted and the lettuce and pickles, added freshness, sauce was great as well Overall service was attentive and quick, food was really good. So glad Trick Dog is still serving up the Quik Dog menu, would come back for the burger or perhaps to try a hot dog.

Delicious hot dogs on a hot day. Love the outdoor seating with tv's. Dog friendly. It was super busy when I visited, lots of people eating in and lots of to-go's so took a bit but worth it.

Great hot dogs! Better than expected, but.... Came here after a little league game to get my kid a hot dog. This was after looking up "hot dogs" in a Yelp search and Quik Dog was the only place open. We didn't realize it was an adults only venue. The door man was cool to let us in to order food. My kid even got to sit as the bar while we waited, and ordered a drink....of Bubble Up. LOL

I never really planned to move out of the Mission, but no one really every planned for 2020. It was great to drop by while running errands for some road side fuel. A solo cup full of smokey mezcal & Squirt to go, chicken nuggets, and a fried chicken sandwich outside - how could you not be happy with a Quik lunch? We got to chat briefly with the owner or manager and it was awesome to meet his beautiful new bulldog. I really can't say how much I love the road stop Americana vibes that they currently have going themselves. I'm sure the days of yesterday where well all be packed back in having amazing Trick Dog cocktails will soon be upon us.

During COVID, Quik Dog is offering takeout and delivery via DoorDash. M E N U Burger, dirty dogs, crispy chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, kale salad, fries. Beyond patty available. Wish they had a pup patty available for dogs. Beer, wine, cocktails to-go available. C O V I D - 1 9   S A F E T Y P R E C A U T I O N S * Staff wore masks properly. * Gloves are worn. * Contactless ordering and payment via website. * Plexi-glass barrier at window (if ordering in person). * Table blocking entrance with hand sanitizer for pick-up. * Social distancing markers. * Takeout bag stapled shut to prevent tampering. F O O D Our order was neatly packed with the fried food vented and the sauces in a stapled bag. No napkins were included so make sure to ask for some if you're eating in the car or having a picnic. * Quik Dog: House-ground blend of chuck & brisket, lettuce, onion, pickles, cheddar cheese, 'Doggie' sauce, hot dog bun ($12.95) ***Cooked medium rare by default. No note section for special requests but you can opt out of ingredients. Since COVID, I've only had a handful of burgers and this was by far the best. The hot dog shaped patty (5 oz) had an even seared, crispy crust. It was perfectly medium rare, well-seasoned, and juicy...blanketed with melty cheese. With the doggie sauce (like thousand island), shredded lettuce, and pickles, it reminded me of McD's Big Mac...a fancy hipster version. The bun was nicely toasted and held everything together well. It's their signature burger for good reason. GET THIS! * Quik Nuggets: Buttermilk-brined crispy chicken nuggets, housemade honey mustard & BBQ sauce ($12.95) No pic but these are like popcorn chicken, you get 8 pieces. While flavorful and moist, the batter was soft (we ate it ASAP in the car). The housemade honey mustard & bbq sauce were fantastic though, very bold flavors. * French Fries: Thrice-cooked kennebec potatoes, ketchup, 'Doggie' sauce ($5.95) Huge portion, more than enough for two people. Unfortunately, while hot, the fries were hard and dry. Perhaps it was an off day for the fryer? S E R V I C E Friendly and prompt. While I was quoted 20 minutes for my order, it took only 12 minutes. So happy that Trick Dog was able to come up with a way to stay open throughout the pandemic. I'm really crazy about their fries. Everything here is good, but sometimes I just get fries and the kale caesar for dinner. It's enough for two people to share. They have a nice standing room covered parklet too.

Unfortunately this was disappointing not much on the hot dog for $14 I was expecting a fully loaded hot dog with lots of flavor and toppings for that price. Or at least a drink or side to accompany the hot dog but for that price I'll go get a Costco hot dog or even better a latino Street vendors hot dog on Mission Street. I can say the staff was friendly.

the best around! get the quiknuggets and try em with the honey mustard. the burgers are delicious too. my favorite drink at the moment is the manzanilla and cel ray. thank you quik dog trick dog crew!

I was sitting in our tiny backyard (2 hours ago) wishing we had a bbq to make hamburgers and hot dogs. Knowing this was but a dream, I took my phone out to order takeout and as if the internet read my mind (which it probably did) a particular restaurant thumbnail image caught my attention. It was of a Heinz can with french fries. "How creative!" I thought, "Let me further explore." Within seconds we ordered double of everything. That is: 2x missions dogs, 2x quick dogs, 2x quick nuggets, and 2x fries. Our order greeted us promptly ringing our doorbell with excitement. I quickly unpacked my newly acquired bag of goodies. Everything was packed with care and love. As we opened each box we inhaled each item enjoying every bite of deliciousness. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Currently sitting on the sofa recovering. Thank you Quick dog by Trick dog for making a dream come true. I'll be back soon.
