"Lisbon is filled with quiosques, small green or red gazebos that aren’t officially classified as bars or restaurants, but offer a nice, casual environment for grabbing a beer and a snack. What sets this one apart from the rest is the view—it’s located right next to the Miradouro de Santa Catarina and overlooks the Tagus River with a panoramic POV of the city skyline. Grab a table or find a spot on the grassy green slope and relax with a beer or chilled wine and an empada (a Portuguese meat pie) as you take in the scenery. It closes early, but not before you’ll have the opportunity to witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in the entire city." - rita geraldes

If you like tuna toast, the climb up to the Quiosque do Adamastor is a must. The kiosk is primarily characterised by its view. However, the friendly staff, reasonable drinks prices and fantastic toasts are just as excellent.

This place is worth visiting just for the view alone. I've been there twice, and the staff has always been friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice.
I tried the famous portuguese tosta mista, which I definitely recommend for a quick lunch.

Perfect place to watch sunset over the Tagus. Spectacular view. Wonderful staff but this place gets slammed, be patient

Nice view of the river, bridge and buildings. Even though it was busy the service was fast and the drinks were good. Whole terrace was in the shades which was great on a hot day but if you want to enjoy the sun you can get your drinks to go and sit on the stones ‘below’ the kiosk

Go in the mornings when weather is nice, you will feel peace and moments of sublimity. The view of the river is great. Can't really comment on food/drinks since I just took a coffee, but I definitely recommend the atmosphere of this café.

Had a cheeky afternoon Aperol Spritz and a glass of beer relaxing and soaking up the afternoon sun. There was a couple of buskers playing chilled music which added to the atmosphere. A lovely part of the city to explore it seemed a bit quieter, which was nice and we caught the Elevador do Lavra back down the hill. 😍

Small kiosk with a fair amount of offerings. Main attraction is takeaway drinks in plastic cups for the public square where you can find locals drinking cheap beer and rolling there own, listening to local musicians.

Amazing view and vibe. We stumbled upon this place and ended up spending hours soaking in the scenery and enjoying the great weather.
