Upon our arrival at the Quirk Hotel, we were greeted with a bit of frustration as the valet parking was at capacity. In an effort to find a solution, we reached out to the concierge for assistance. While they provided a basic rundown of alternatives, such as "street parking," it would have been far more helpful if they had offered specific names and locations of nearby parking lots or garages for guests to utilize.||||Once we made it to the hotel lobby, the check-in experience left much to be desired. The staff seemed preoccupied with guests strolling in from the street, overlooking those of us who were checking in late. ||||The rooms were aesthetically pleasing, featuring modern decor and a vibrant atmosphere, but comfort was another story. The beds were extraordinarily stiff, making it difficult to unwind, and the sheets felt disappointingly thin, akin to paper. Adding to the absurdity, there were only three tiny pillows on a king-sized bed, a comical mismatch for a space designed for relaxation.||||On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed the recommendation included on the check-in sheet to visit Perly's, a delightful Jewish-style diner known for its hearty breakfast options. Our daytime experience was also pleasant, with prompt responses from room service. The concierge eagerly assured us, “Sure! We’ll have that right up for you!”—a refreshing touch of enthusiasm.||||One disappointment was the rooftop bar, which didn’t open until 5 PM, possibly due to a private event, preventing us from enjoying it earlier in the day. ||||Check-out was smooth and hassle-free, with no unexpected fees or holds on my card, which was a nice change. Overall, if you're seeking a peaceful getaway for a restful night's sleep, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. However, if your stay is centered around an event taking place at the venue, it might still be worth considering.
