This place has a great vibe and the food is delicious. We probably samples all of the tacos amongst us and they were all tasty. The drinks were all well made and delicious as well. Our server was very nice and helpful with suggestions.

We stopped in for a few drinks and an appetizer, and everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Trio Botanero—yum! Toward the end of our visit, I asked if they had any dessert cocktails. Hector (who was so nice and friendly!) said they didn’t, but offered to whip up an espresso martini… and wow, it was one of the BEST I’ve ever had! It’s not on the menu, but it definitely should be! I also had a Pepino and it was tasty! Great place all around!

I had a really good time here with my 2 girlfriends. We were seated outside & got to yap while eating and lathering in the sun!! It doesn’t get better than that. I ordered the mocktail “Chido Güey” and the carnitas tacos. Both were so delicious! I loved everything that I ordered, but I wish that the tacos were either a little bigger or the price for 4 tacos was cheaper. Overall, I had a good time but there were some times that I felt like the service was slow and that we were forgotten about. I would come back in the future to sip on drinks and/or try other entrees. :)

Very cool corner restaurant with a fun aesthetic and good vibes. The drinks were delicious. The food not so much, but the service made up for it. Reservations are a must, otherwise be prepared to wait for over an hour.

Quiubo is my fav place in downtown Naperville for after dinner drinks. I always get “la sandía” cocktail bc it’s so delicious, but today I tried “la fresona” and it blew my mind. I love how every drink here has a generous pour, but not enough to make me cringe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was the first time we ordered food here bc we hate paying for overpriced white-washed Mexican food, but we were pretty satisfied with our choice to eat here for once! The ceviche was tilapia which I normally don’t eat, but every ingredient and spice level was perfection. We absolutely devoured it. The playero tacos were also great but I hate the thought of paying $18 for four small tacos so… might just stick to the small plates next time.

Google
First time here - I came for dinner recently. Made a reservation but didn't need it - we came on a Thursday around 7.30 pm. The food was very good, but I will say I think it's overpriced for the tiny little tacos you get. 4 stars for the service as our waiter was not very attentive, and we had to wave him down to pay our bill. The restaurant vibe was good, fun music, but not too loud, the design is modern, and the bathrooms were ok. Good options for food if you re vegetarian and parking is next door for the hotel Indigo.

Such a fun girls night spot. Drinks are delicious and super fun. Claire is the BEST. She's knowledgeable, fun, and a joy to be around. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend checking this place out!

We've been wanting to try this place for years but their hours can make that a bit of a challenge with our schedule. Lunch today worked out and the restaurant is wonderful to dine in. Beautiful, colorful decor. Fantastic vibe. I had their traditional margarita and while it was good, didn't quite satisfy my margarita craving. We started with the guacamole/elotes trio. We were curious trying strawberries in guacamole and it works so well. The chips are superior to most other restaurant chips and are perfect for dipping. The ceviche was alright but probably wouldn't order again with so many other options to choose from. The tuna tostada was well-balanced and delicious. Our fish tacos were really good; large pieces of fish that felt light. Only drawback was we would've like a little more crunch from the delicious cabbage topping. The shrimp bowl was definitely worth getting but not after all the amazing food we had before it arrived, had to take almost all of it home. Next time I'd get it by itself so I could eat the whole thing fresh. We finished with the flan and it was different than any flan we've had before. Wonderful flavors not just drowned out by sweetness like we've experienced elsewhere. Our server Yarjelis was amazing!

Yelp
Comfortable restaurant near the Naperville downtown River walk. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for outside and it was a great day for it. There were some showers for 5 minutes but the outdoor seating had a cover so we did not get even a drop on us. It took a few minutes for our server to get to is, though she was friendly and provided good service once she started interacting with us. We order the Trio Botanero and half order of Cecina, Pollo Asado, and Pastor. All the food was great! Favorite was probably the Cecina. The meat was so tender and flavors balanced so well. All three are good choices!

Yelp
Who doesn't ask a taco place is they have Taco Tuesday deals? Yuuup, this gal right here. Don't be me, lol, make sure to see if they have any deals if dining in on a Tuesday. And please let me know if they have any, haha. If you're looking for a city-ish vibe without the paid city parking Quiubo is the place for it. There is plenty of parking lots within walking distance and also street parking (if lucky, you'll be able to snag a spot). This place is cute and gives off a 'I'm at an all inclusive resort' vibe. Within seconds of walking in my friend and I were greeted by a staff member and seated. Service throughout was pretty good, our server checked in on us the perfect amount. Our app took a bit to come out but other than that everything else was timed out well. I started with the mango mamon cocktail. This drink is tequila based and fruity. I enjoyed it! For food we started out with the chicken flautas. They did NOT look appealing and unfortunately it also fell short. The chicken was waaaaaay overcooked. The green sauce was good but this is something that I would pass on going forward. We then ordered 2 full orders of tacos - pescado and the bien trucha. Both were very delicious and flavorful. The reason why I took off 1 star - Quiubo is on the pricey side with small portions. I understand quality over quantity but is it THAT good given the steep prices and small portions? Meh, IDK
google avatar

Yelp
Everything came out incredibly fast. The tacos, corn and margaritas were all really good. The Diablo does pack a little bit of heat tho. If you come on Tuesday they have deals for tacos and margaritas.

Yelp
Classic good not great spot. Menu consists of a variety of tacos and a few sides. We went with a spread of tacos and sides of rice and beans; the favorites were the bien trucha & fish. Our server was excellent, she definitely bumped up the rating. Pretty pricey for the amount of food but it is downtown Naperville.

Yelp
The food was fantastic. The bartender Alex was excellent and the ambiance was so comfortable!!!

Yelp
Went here for the first time with our family and Quiubo is amazing! We have lived in Naperville for about six months and moved out here from southern CA which is the US capital of Mexican food and I can say Quiubo can definitely compete! The ambiance and crowd is amazing and the servers/staff were incredibly attentive. The guacamole trio was great (had to ask for more chips a couple times because the proportion of chips to guacamole was too small). Got a margarita which was great. We also got the bien trucha tacos and the carnitas tacos and both of those tasted amazing. I don't know why some people give this place a low rating because yes the food can be pricey but it is top quality. If you want cheap Mexican food and don't care about cleanliness and atmosphere, go to a hole in the wall. If you want good, Mexican food and drinks, amazing ambiance, and quality food, go to Quiubo.

Yelp
Came for dinner with a group of 7 (no reservation) and we were able to be seated right away. We started with the guac trio for the table which was good and nice to try a few different guac variations. The chips were nice and crunchy as well. We ordered several tacos so everyone could try something that appealed to them. I tried the rajas con papa which was okay but nothing special. It could have used more poblano and maybe another veggie. The pescado taco was good and has a nice flavor but the fish was not very crispy. I also tried the pulpo and thought that the flavor was okay but I was not a fan of the texture of the octopus. Others at the table enjoyed the bien trucha. Overall, the selection of tacos is good but the menu as a whole is very limited. The food I had was good not great but the service was excellent and the ambiance is nice and relaxing.

Yelp
Quiubo- I still don't know how to pronounce that word! The food is good. Overpriced, absolutely- for the portion size. Tacos are 1/2 order (2 tacos) = $11 or full order (4 tacos) = $18. Guac is $11 for an ice cream scoop of cold guac- I'm happy to pay a premium for guac... because they're making it table side... but Quiubo seems like they're profiting off people "always" ordering the guac so they make a bunch, throw it in the fridge and then serve it up. Also the amount of chips with the teeny scoop of guac was ridiculous for $11! Two of us ended up ordering 2 orders of guac! $22! The tacos were basic- the main protein with one thing on top. I got the shrimp tacos with a slice of avocado on top. My friend got the steak tacos with a slice of pineapple on top. Nothing warranting that price tag. $66 for 2 people without alcohol. I'll skip this place next time:(

Yelp
I was invited here for a group event and was excited to try it when I found out it's a sister restaurant to Bien Trucha in Geneva which I love. The food and service was outstanding. Wait staff walked around with trays of cocktails first. I chose the Blood Orange Spicy Margarita which had just the right amount of spice. When they brought out Creamy Pimento Soup I said that I would pass because I was gluten free but the waiter said he would check and came back smiling to tell me to enjoy it because the soup was gluten free. Every waiter that came by after that told me what was gluten free...they passed the word! Impressive! Fun decor and nearby free parking garage also make this restaurant a go to in Naperville.

Yelp
Ugh so yum. I came here with my mom for the first time a while ago! I haven't stopped thinking about the Pepino margarita (I asked for the jalapeño infused liquor and it was actually spicy but like.. still sooo good.) The tacos were so yummy too! I didn't get the try any of the apps but they looked great as well. We tried a variety of tacos (maybe a total of 4-5 different ones) and all were very tasty. I think maybe one of those 5 I would give a 6/10 but the rest were undoubtedly delicious. The only downfall to this place is pricing but that's what you get for quality food in a boujee location!! I also like that you can order tacos in groups or 2 or 4. I'm telling you this place is a more upscale, more delicious version of Fat Rosie's with better ambiance and nicer staff!!

Yelp
Excellent service. Clean and nice interior and atmosphere. Food was good. See pictures. Parking was easy. There's a (free) parking lot structure across the street.

Yelp
Food was good, but portions are small. Pricey for what you receive. Seating is tight, no way to have a private conversation. Biggest issue is how they serve food. Served my wife 5 min. before me. She was about done when mine was served. Looks like they just pick up food and deliver when ready. Not an enjoyable meal. And the kicker is they and a bogus 3% charge to bill. That is not right.
google avatar

Yelp
Cool location, ambiance and food is very good. Small portions for $$$. If you have a problem with small portions this is not your place. I had a few different baby street tacos. Would have loved the fish to have been grilled and not fried but it was good. The mushroom one was very good too. I was not Full but satisfied. Great service. Bien trucha group so familiar when I was eating there.

Yelp
This is probably the best Mexican restaurant in Naperville. Love everything about it, food, service, ambiance.

Yelp
I have been here a couple times and each time is a huge hit. When you think about tacos, this is the best there is in the area. First, the ambiance is great. It is modern and trendy without being too classy or elegant. However, it is rather intimate with close seating and dimmed lights. The bar is nice and looks classy. The margaritas are bomb. They are a bit on the sweeter side which I really enjoy, but not that sticky sweet you find with mixers. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is their seasonal guacamole. As the seasons change they have fruit mixed in with their guacamole such as watermelon or peaches. This adds brightness creating a delicious flavor profile. Of the tacos I have tried, my favorites are the pastor, pescado, and pollo asado. The pastor is the absolute best though. The pineapple makes everything so fresh and I love a bit of sweetness with the spice. One order has two tacos and any sides are extra, so it can get a bit pricy. The rice is really good and the corn is really delicious as well. I havent tried their deserts, but I bet their tres leches cake is delicious. The service is always good as well. Sometimes I have sat at the bar and sometimes we get a seat, but they always try their best to accommodate us. Sometimes it can be hard because they are always packed, especially on a weekend. It is best to make a reservation if you are able, but seating at the bar is usually available if you are going a bit earlier. I will absolutely be back and I hope it is always good the more I go.

Yelp
Great place, came to celebrate a friend's birthday. Food was great, drinks too. Great service. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I used to love the guacamole here, but today it was extra spicy--my husband who loves spice said it was extra hot for him. We mentioned it to our waitress but she said they pre-make it so you have to eat it the way it arrives. Huh? How about making it mild, and letting people add spice? The Barbacoa tacos were good and had a much milder flavour. The fruit fruit margaritas were good but very weak. We also ordered the rice and the bean side dishes (meh--very mushy textures there with little flavour but yes, not spicy). I'd say, overall, order from Chipotle, and eat it on a park bench in downtown Naperville, if it's a nice day. Save money, and then get a drink from Sullivan's. Also, they're still adding a 3% random charge to your check held over from covid. Huh? If you like spicy food, this is your place. For us, we'll move on.....$81 for 4 small tacos, 2 weak drinks, 2 blah sides, and 1 over spiced guacamole. I know we can do better.

Yelp
Another place for Mexican American food. It has prices typical around here. Quiubo is okay but overpriced. Has some good drinks including the margaritas. The vegetarian choices are poor but they have tacos. Came in with a girl for lunch. It wasn't too busy and we sat at the bar and ordered. The place gets crazier when it's later and they crank the music up. It was pretty quiet at lunch. We had the typical Mexican drinks, including the Margarita Tradicional. It's $12 for a pretty small ass one. This was good but the price was a ripoff. It just wasn't enough in the glass to justify it. This is made with Exotico Blanco, lime, and orange liquor. As for the food, we had one of the few vegetarian items. This was the Aguacate Tacos. It's $8 for a pretty small ass one. See a pattern? Pretty expensive but pretty good flavor. This has aioli, which we left off, avocados, and pineapple pico de gallo. Good place to hang at downtown. It closes after lunch. They open back up for dinner weekdays.

Yelp
Food and ambiance were great. The tacos agados were excellent and drinks were tasty. Friendly staff.

Yelp
This place is in Downtown Naperville right by the river. The decor was really cool! They had neon lights, wall paintings, and tons of seating. They also have outdoor seating for the summer. To drink I got a frozen daiquiri and the flavor was pink guava. Super good and refreshing definitely recommend trying. We got guacamole and queso fundido de shishitos for the table. The guac was pretty standard. The queso was good, but some of my family thought it was kinda salty by itself. You are given tortillas with the queso so it cuts the saltiness and is delicious combo. For dinner I got the playero tacos. I really liked these! It's got a creaminess from the aioli but also a tanginess from I think the onion and cilantro. The combination of flavors and texture made it an enjoyable dish. Overall really enjoyed this place and definitely will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Quiubo definitely left an impression last time we were there. We came back this time around with the intention of trying more items off their menu... and we brought some newbies with us to experience quality tacos at its finest! Our order: - Crema Poblana soup 5/5 Creamy, flavorful soup w/ bits of potatoes and cheese. It kinda reminded me of a broccoli cheddar soup but better! - Pastor taco: 5/5 The BEST Al pastor tacos around (CHEFS KISS !! ) - Pollo en salsa verde: 5/5 great mix of flavors with the marinated chicken, pickled onions and green salsa - Carnitas: 4/5 marinated pork w/ a healthy amount guacamole salsa & onions - Bien Trucha: 5/5 Melted cheese slathered over steak and chorizo... need I say more?!? - Pescado tacos: 5/5 Big pieces of fried fish with a mound of salsa slaw - Chicken Flautas: 4/5 crunchy like taquitos with green and red salsas on top - Churros: 4/5 (They need a scoop of ice cream w/ this to take it over the top)

Yelp
This Mexican place is Naperville has amazing food. Tried the Ceviche de Pescado. The tilapia was marinated in lime juice, tomato, cilantro , onion. I enjoyed the tangy and sour flavor. Definitely recommend this place for the food! However this place is super strict with reservations. :( We almost got our chairs removed as some of our friends traveling from out of town were late by 20 minutes or so. We barely managed to order and eat as the restaurant closes at 10 so we couldn't really enjoy our meal as we would have wanted to. Free parking available in the garage next to the restaurant or street parking available too depending on the time of the day

Yelp
We came here for lunch the day after 4th of July. We loved their cocktails, especially the Pepino. Our elote dip and tacos were very flavorful and tasty! Service and atmosphere was very good. As a vegetarian, there were only two options however, and I couldn't mix and match, and neither involved anything with a protein, such as black beans. I think that's a missed opportunity. But otherwise, wonderful dining experience -- I would return!

Maryanne G.

Yelp
Fun, clean and great service. Our tacos and drinks were great. While we liked our food & felt the price of the tacos was worth it, we all felt the appetizer of chips & quac was way over priced... either add more chips or just give that sized portion complimentary. I'd have given a 4 but the chips fell it short.

Robert H.

Yelp
Food was good. Many great flavors. But a lunch of three tacos each and a drink should not be $100 and then a blanket "service charge" that shows up at the end like a tax. Sorry, it's good but not that good. Service was adequate at best.

Yelp
First time here today as a recommendation from a friend. We made reservations for lunch at 12PM. It was me, my friend and my 1 year old. Upon arriving we were greeted by a gentleman who wasn't very accommodating. Pros: Food, drinks, service from our waiter. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of menu and provided amazing service! Cons: Not accommodating, not baby friendly, no high chairs, just big kid boosters. Food was delicious. We started off with the trio appetizer & we both loved the elote dip. So yummy! Guac was good too but elote dip was our fave! Place is like a tapas style Mexican food type of place. We ordered pescado tacos, flautas, & quiubo tacos. We both agreed that everything was delicious. They had a dry January drink menu which consisted of mocktails. Both drinks we ordered were pretty and delicious. Definitely recommend. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with murals and witty signs. Really loved this! Overall, clean and beautiful! 4 stars instead of 5 bc of my interaction with the host (maybe manager). Very rudely insisted we sit on the high top table bc I had a stroller. I asked for a regular table but he said stroller wouldn't fit. I didn't understand why the tables couldn't be moved. So we went ahead and sat at the high top table. Anyone who has kids knows hightop chairs/tables are not baby or kid friendly. Other than this interaction, I recommend this place.

Erik B.

Yelp
Avoid this place at all cost, so many other options. Food was less than average, service was terrible, and it was not even busy. Workers appeared too busy talking to themselves instead of customers. Take a pass, you will thank me later.
google avatar

Shannon S.

Yelp
Fabulous spot in downtown Naperville. Great drinks. The tacos are on the smaller side though so you'll need to supplement it with some of the awesome side dishes. The esquites (Mexican street corn), papas and queso are really good. If I based this off my recent experience alone, I would reduce this to three stars based on the service. Short story; we were moved from our table to accommodate a larger party. The other party never showed up. The manager apologized and offered us a free side. The free side never came until we reminded the waitress towards the end of the meal.

Yelp
This place is Over priced and not tasteless. Took long time and not worth the wait. Drink was awful. I would never go back.
google avatar

Sam M.

Yelp
The food was really good. I love the ceviche it was kinda spicy but I would definitely get it again. The queso was thicker than most quesos I have had but still really good with the tortillas.

Yelp
Fun little spot along the river. We'll call this a fancy Mexican restaurant considering the sides are a la cart and entrees are served pretty (not your typical neighborhood or chain restaurant). Tuna tacos were amazing as was the trio guacamole appetizer (each one was topped with something different). Flautas were good but a little too fancy for me. Bien Trucha (carne asada tacos) were good with a little bit of spice to them. Pastor tacos were good, nice add to have pineapple on top. Would not recommend the churro bites. They were cooked a little too long for my tastes. Atmosphere is nice, lighting at night is dark; it was hard to read the menu so we had to get out our phone flash light to read it. Wait staff was friendly and attentive, but what's up with the small water glasses?! I felt sorry for the waitress who had to keep bringing us water. Overall, giving this place only 3 stars because of the small water glasses, a la carte sides and my 18 year old leaving the restaurant hungry after spending $70 (4 entrees, 1 appetizer, water, churros and 1 side of rice). Bottom line, don't come super hungry but do come to enjoy fine Mexican dining and the nice atmosphere.

Yelp
Found this place while browsing Yelp. Stopped here for drinks and we were not disappointed. Drinks were flavorful and with a punch ! Now hear me out, being born and raised in Mexico, I've always tell my friends that knowing what real Mexican food is supposed to taste like is both a blessing and a curse. That being said, this place had the most flavorful tacos. We had the Pastor, Bien Trucha, and Pescado tacos. I would say they were all a solid 9 out of 10. We also got the queso fundido with shrimp as an appetizer, SOLID!! . All in all I would really recommend this place to anyone and definitely will be back.
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
We tried the regular & plain queso fundidos and the pescado tacos. My husband also got a limonade. Everything was exceptional. Totally blown away by the flavors and will definitely be back for the food. On top of that, service was great and the atmosphere was lovely! Glad we tried this spot. Loved everything.

Yelp
I've been coming to this place for quite some time now. They are located downtown Naperville across from the river walk. There is plenty of street parking right outside of the restaurant and a parking garage nearby. One thing I can say for sure is that they are very consistent. The tacos and drinks are always top notch . The tacos are a bit small for the price, but they're good so I keep coming back. I also enjoy the esquites and papas.

Yelp
We decided to stop by here for lunch while in Naperville. We got some chips and guacamole along with a few tacos. The guacamole was excellent. Very fresh with a tiny bit of bite. Along with this we got the pescado, quiubo and pastor. The quiubo was brisket with an avocado salsa based sauce. The beef was very tender and the sauce complimented it well. The fish taco tasty really good as well although the chipotle aioli might be a bit spicy for some. My favorite though was the pastor. The meat and sauce was great with a nice hint of smokiness to it. The pineapple pieces also added a nice touch to the flavor. Overall the meal was excellent and the service was perfect. The price seemed reasonable considering we left satisfied and full. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in the area to sample some of the other options.

Yelp
The best selection of tequila and mezcal! Here we have some of the finest additive-free tequilas and agave spirits you'll ever find in one spot. The prices are reasonable even for the rare selections, and the bartenders offer great service. No surprise Quiubo was named a Great Lakes Tequila Club "hotspot." The food is amazing too, with some of my favorites being the Bien Trucha or Pastor tacos, Aguachile De Res, Guacamole and Sikil Pak dip. I come here all the time!

Yelp
Everything we had today was great, love the new menu changes and Luna had great suggestions at the bar

Yelp
Went the other night. Won't be back. I'll get to the point here. Good - The actual food. Bad - The value... aka the portion sizes with respect to the prices. We got the elote dip, I swear there were 15 chips served with it. Same situation on the chips when we got the salsa trio. Not sure why, chips are cheap. You get 2 tacos per order, I heard you used to get 3 which would have been high value. To increase the apparent value on 2 tacos they should get the next larger size of tortillas and keep the same amount of toppings. All of the taco dishes are about $9 - $11 including the vegetarian ones which I find weird. Bad - Traditional Margarita... pretty sure it's a margarita mix. For $12 I want one with real lime in it not a sugar bomb mix, and getting charged an extra $1 for making it spicy is ridiculous. Moderately Poor - The service. We got our appetizer before our drinks (that's also just bad business). Also slow to come take our order, we waited a long time to be able to ask for the check, they never cleared our plates. I'm probably being hard on this place. I told my friend we went here and she said she loves it. It was a fine experience because the food tasted good, and a fine place to try once, but due to all the other factors not worth a 2nd visit.

Yelp
Hongos Mushroom tacos were yummy- smoky full of flavor. You get two per plate - be smart and don't share. I tried to be over smart and ordered a squash taco and a mushroom taco so my husband and I could try one of each. While transporting the mushroom in one hand and a baby in another, I dropped all yummy mushroom on the table. It stared at me the whole time. Whatever was left on my plate was a deconstructed mushroom taco - was super yummy. Calabasas Squash taco was smoky grilled flavor - also very tasty. The memory of that is very little as my grief for mushroom that fell on the table has replaced it. Anyway, flan was ok I guess - Tres leches was meh. Personally I like Marianos tres leches cake. Maybe it's the american in me that likes store bought better than a fancy restaurant cake. Corn was very tasty too. The only thing I wished was that they had a proper high chair for my toddler. They gave me a booster and a wick chair to strap it on all by myself. I had to sit uncomfortable holding a baby in one arm the whole time- ofcourse if I were a dad I would have given this 5 stars coz i would not have had to hold a child and eat tacos in one hand at the same time. Not a child friendly mexican restaurant!!

Yelp
Perfect bourbon mule from Javi. This place has the best people working for them. Specially the bartenders.

Yelp
The food and service are amazing. Highly recommend the vegetable tacos and guacamole. One of our go to places in downtown Naperville.

Yelp
Great food and drinks - love the restaurant's look. :) Had tacos and an avocado drink and it was great!

Yelp
Appetizers and tacos were good. Strawberry margarita my wife had was also good. Service was fine. Appetizers and meal portions are very small and overpriced. Probably would not go back. Better options elsewhere.

Yelp
This restaurant is by the same owners as Bien Trucha in Geneva and Al toda in Glen Ellen. All the menus are very similar if not the same and I have visited all 3 of them. My favorites are the pork tacos, steak tacos, elotes, and the rice. Recently I had the chicken flautas. They were loaded in sauce. It was overwhelming but good. There wasn't that much meat though. I did like this better than the chicken tacos. I really like the service here and the decor of the restaurant. The food is meant to be shared.

Yelp
Great place to sample some agave drinks. Possibly the best selection of Tequila, Mezcal and Raicilla I've seen. The bar staff, especially Jave, is very knowledgeable about everything on the list. For food we only had the Aquachile Mixto, similar to ceviche, it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for drinks and apps, I'll be back to try the rest of the menu. FYI, Lágrimas de Delores añejo is the most delicious mezcal I've ever tasted my

Yelp
Came here with some girlfriends for dinner. They don't take reservations for the patio but they had plenty of seating outdoors when we got there at 7pm. Ambiance is nice. The whole space is pretty much open. Service is ok. I liked that they have those hand held card swipers that make it easy to split the bill. They never came to refill our water bottle, but we did stay until closing. Would recommend the food. I think the menus on yelp may be a bit outdated since now everything is a bit more expensive and they sell tacos by the two instead of four. and i was expecting chips for the table based on pervious reviews but that does not happen. Guacamole - super creamy and fresh. chips seemed like grocery store chips. quiubo tacos - about the size of a street taco but filled with a ton of meat. they double up the corn tortilla. the filling has a nice kick to it and pairs nicely with the acid in the green sauce on top. i don't like scallions and couldn't even taste them in the melted cheese.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with girlfriends! I really wanted to love this place, but there are definitely pros and cons from my experience. I loved the ambiance - located right off Water Street, they have a beautiful interior which opens up to a full patio that is close to overlooking the Riverwalk. As another review indicated, they don't take reservations and we had to hope that they had an open table available when we arrived. We got there at 7 PM on a Tuesday evening after Memorial Day, and most tables were filled! Just to let y'all know that they are definitely busy - especially during the summertime! I asked the server what their guacamole special was for the day. She told me the fruit of the day was cantelope. I went ahead and ordered the regular guacamole. Have to say - the 3 stars in this review are from this guacamole alone!! It was creamy, tangy, fresh and wonderfully seasoned. I would definitely come back just for the guacamole alone, and highly recommend! The chips were pretty average, but they ended up pairing well with the guacamole and were lightly salted as well. I was disappointed with my vegetarian taco, however, and definitely wouldn't recommend this place for those with dietary restrictions. Most of the menu catered to those who ate meat, and I didn't feel that my taco really justified the price point. I had two tacos only, and although it was beautifully presented, I just didn't feel like the taste represented what I was expecting. I had to do a double take because I felt like I wasn't eating something vegetarian - they fried the avocado bits, but I didn't taste anything else. I think the experience would have helped if the taco was paired with a sauce to give the taco more flavor. Loved the ambiance and guacamole, but that was about all that was impressive about my experience. I would definitely come here again but it would be to try their drinks!

Yelp
I had a Business dinner with 6 guests. Everyone commented on how good the food was and enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was good even with a packed restaurant. I plan to take more out of town guests here.
