"With only three tables, R. Haan Thai is, for all intents and purposes, a very small restaurant. But since most people are just coming in for take-out, you never need to worry about finding a spot to sit. The food here is solid, with some satisfying curries and noodle dishes, but the best dishes are actually the starters. The larb kai has a balanced combination of lime and fish sauce, the tom kha has plenty of lemongrass, and the deep-fried pork belly is perfectly crispy. There isn’t much in terms of ambiance aside from a few vintage knick-knacks, but if you happen to be in the area, it’s a good option for a casual meal." - John Ringor

Ordered takeaway Pad Thai, Shumai and Chicken Satay. The restaurant lets you specify how hot you want your spicing to be. We specified a "1," which was a perfect mild but not bland level of spice. Portions were generous, Pad Thai exactly as expected (thank you!), Shumai a bit smaller than expected, but tasty, and Chicken Satay nicely charred and spiced. The restaurant is small with limited street parking, indoor and outdoor seating. It is well worth a visit, and we hope to return soon.

Pad Thai was very good and the only thing worthy of the 4.9 star overall reviews they have. Tom yum soup just tasted like spice chicken soup with tomatoes and we were very upset. We also ordered panang curry which was solid at best. Smelled like a bathroom in the restaurant, the restaurant is super tiny and deceiving from the pictures. The young lady at the front was super friendly.

Honestly the food was really tasty aside from the fact that their highest level of spice on the curry was not particularly spicy. But the reason I won't go back and the reason that I'm writing this review is just like extremely comical levels of stinginess when it comes to extras. Condiment container for the dumplings less than 1/4 of the way filled. Not enough rice for even half the curry. Rice and soy sauce is cheap as hell dudes, you can afford to give your customers a full portion and not make me have to make my own rice to eat the takeout I ordered from your restaurant.

Solid Thai food. The restaurant is a bit cramped so this is more of a takeout spot for me. Pad Thai was delicious but I wish it was saucier. Their Thai tea was pretty good.

After 3 years in the area finally made it to this cute restaurant in the neighborhood. I ordered pad Thai (I know basic ) but I was craving it and hubby beef salad plus we got a tom yum soup. Price was very reasonable and the food was very taste. Our service she was so cute, she look like one of the NewJean singer (kpop) will definitely be back, a hidden gem in west ridge.

We ordered 8 dishes between Pepper steak, 3 different fried rices, and 4 different noodles. All were tasty delicious. However, the beef quality needs some improvement to make it more tender. This place has a couple of tables for dine in, but mainly for take out since there is no parking available other than street parking. It is highly recommended if you are craving Thai food while supporting local business.

Actually very Satisfied with all my food. First time ordering from this Restaurant and very pleased with everything I had ordered. Curry Puff ( you can tell they are made fresh by the outer pastry. The chicken and the potato was just enough.) Hor Mok (when I opened up the box i smelled the Curry & the Herbs. Smells just like the way they make it in Thailand. The Spice is just right and the consistency is Perfect. ) Fried Tofu (is always my favorite go to) Moo Ping (so tasty with the sticky rice. Very moist and flavorful) Chive Dumplings ( the outer layer was just the right Crispyness. I just wished the sauce was a bit more thicker it was a bit liquidity for my liking. ) Pad Thai Beef ( was very good. The beef was good too. Just the right amount of sauce and texture. ) I just wished they gave me some hot sauce or dried chilli on the side. I guess I have to request it next time. Larb Gai (was good but I requested it #2 Spice. It just felt like I was eating boiled chicken with Red Onions. Wish there was more seasoning inside the dish.) Overall, I will definitely order again from this restaurant. And If you haven't tried it. I truly do recommend to try it. It taste like true Authentic Thai Food.
