"Edgar Villongco of the popular cheese-focused restaurant Raclette reported that the shop sustained damages including a smashed front door, broken bottles, a broken cash register, and a damaged television set. Villongco paid $900 out of pocket to repair Raclette’s front door on Monday morning. The restaurant is not currently covered by insurance — it was dropped by its former provider because the restaurant couldn’t afford to pay the premiums during the COVID-19 crisis." - Serena Dai

A great French restaurant serving up some cheesy deliciousness. They have a cute heated outdoor setup which is small, intimate and has great lighting for photographs for those awesome Instagram posts. Inside is dark and intimate but a bit cramped especially on a crowded day but the quality of the food is worthwhile. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided a pleasant experience. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend!!

Well the whole experience was pretty good. Book a table, they are always full. Nobody in our group liked fig tartine😕. I would recommend to order baked Camembert🤩 and ribeye🥩. It’s more than enough for 3. 👌 However the fact that even if I booked the table, I was asked to leave and come back. Hostess was not friendly. But the waitress was polite and nice. And the smell from cheese in the restaurant… 🤣😄 you will get used to it in 30 minutes. I worth going!

What a cool concept! A must try place for the experience alone. Definitely order one of the dishes with a cheese scrape, highly recommend their original blend. The truffle cheese was okay but not outstanding. Ordered the ribeye for two with my partner but we were given so much food, it was more like dinner for four haha. The addition of cheese was tasty but wasn't as phenomenal as I was expecting. Would still recommend this place to try and would recommend making reservations in advance. Great place for a romantic dinner or dinner out with friends.

My experience here was pretty average. The cheese was only highlight for me in terms of food. My steak was dry and vegetables didn't taste good either. On the brighter side, it's a nice, cozy restaurant with a bar, servers are really nice. Note: Reservation doesn't mean anything at this place. We reserved table at 8, but was seated at 8:30.

The restaurant was set up beautifully. We arrived just after it opened. The cheese smell filled the air in the beginning so be prepared for that if you are sensitive to smells. The food was exquisite. Everything was well seasoned and the portions were generous. They server was kind enough to be tolerant of us taking pictures as he scraped the cheese on the dish. Excellent wine and beer selection. For those that aren't familiar with French cuisine everything is explained so no worries. Important thing to note: if you are even mildly lactose intolerant (as myself) do not overdo it on the cheese eating!

Great dining experience in an intimate restaurant setting. Yes, the melted cheese being scraped onto my burger was a very memorable experience. But this restaurant has a lot to offer - the ambience is enjoyable, the wine selection good, and the wait staff is attentive. The burger itself was very flavorful, and the roasted new potatoes I had for my side were excellent. Very happy I made this a stop on my trip to New York.

The Raclette in NYC is located very central and easy to reach by car. The food was very good especially the cheeses are a French delicacy. My favourite was the truffle cheese on the hamburger. Also venue is cosy and romantic. Only downside is that it is a little overpriced and the red wine was extremely dry.

Everything is perfect, reasonable price, friendly staff, and great taste. I’m such a cheese lover and I can just eat cheese all day. But I suggest u do not go for extra cheese, since the default amount of cheese in raclette is actually way more than I expected, ordered extra and then I brought them all back and it doesn’t taste as good. The restaurant is clearly short staffed and had to wait for a while just to get some water and etc but overall great experience
