Seattle Dim Sum Restaurant Harbor City Is Closing | Eater Seattle

"A meat-and-cocktail purveyor is opening a second location in Ballard that will be all-ages—meaning teens can finally chow down on fried pig ears—though they still won’t be able to participate in the bone marrow mezcal luges served at the original location. Owner Dan Bugge (who also owns Matt's in the Market) told the reporter he's targeting April or May for the opening." - Harry Cheadle

What a great new place! Bartender was friendly, engaging, and shared some suggestions on new booze to taste. The food was delicious too. Enjoyed the vibe a lot.

A-MAZING whiskey selection! 3 different varieties of Blanton's, &10yr, 12yr, 13yr, 15yr, 20yr, & 23yr Pappy Van Winkle! Hush puppies were on point 🤌

Come for the drinks, but don't waste your money on the food. The cocktails have a ton of variety when it comes to base liquer and there's a great selection of whiskey if you want to focus on that. I appreciated that non-alcoholic cocktail options started at $12. The food is incredibly over salted. My tongue was burning. I ordered the steak frites, which the kitchen only makes medium rare. It came medium to well done. There was barely any pink.

amazing! We tried this out during Restaurant week, but we will definitely be back again and again! Loved the burnt ends, loved the rad bowl. It’s the one with the tater tots mac & cheese, and pulled pork. Can’t miss that. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
As a non-whiskey drinker, I can’t tell what drew me to this place. I spotted it while walking around the farmers market and saw their brunch sign. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and setting sun (black tea, makers mark, lemon) per the bartenders rec. Both were so good! The sandwich was filling- no sides were needed. Thick sausage patty (almost like a hamburger) + 2 fried eggs. Even as someone who doesn’t like whiskey, the setting sun was really good!

Google
Great atmosphere! The food was absolutely spectacular, and the selection of alcohol was impressive. The bartender, Andy, was very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful in making recommendations. Highly recommend this spot!”

Google
One of the best meals we've had in Ballard lately. The drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is cool, and the food is sooooo tasty. Highly recommend!

Google
Fantastic food and drinks! Amazing service, and great ambiance. The streak frites and brussel sprouts are to die for. Definitely will be coming back!! Oh and Chris rocks!

Yelp
Great place to have a drink and meal. We came here for a drink but couldn't resist the menu. The pork sandwich, salad, hush puppies and brussel sprouts were top notch. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed everything about this place. Highly recommend- be sure to try a house made cocktail. Delicious.

Yelp
Terrible service! Get your "muscular" waiters larger tshirts. They kept pulling their shirts down. They were pushy and not friendly. The place was empty and they took our menus away as if this was an opportunity to give someone a menu on the side. Food and drinks were boring. Our biggest issue was service and it messed us up.

Yelp
Great addition to the neighborhood from one of my all time faves from Pike Place Market. Radiator Whiskey's second location will feel familiar with the whisky barrel, menu, and even the team (hello Crista!), but they have some food and cocktails unique to the location, e.g. slushies anyone? I always start off with a barrel aged cocktail and their barrel aged Manhattan with a Whistle Pig base was awesome. As a lover of the Brooklyn, I loved the China Girl- David Bowie - Michters rye, china china, fino sherry, barrel aged montenegro, and orange bitters. The China China was a perfect sub for the amer picon. I also tried the hush puppies as these are not available at the Pike Place location, and the order of 5 was enough for a meal. Half of the menu is different from pike place so I look forward to trying the other items as well. Service is inviting and professional, and I will be back soon and often!

Yelp
Great Drinks! Great service! Smoked maple is great, the maple helps balance out the smoke.

Yelp
Great bourbon selection and BBQ. Love their bone marrow and burnt ends. They have an amazing happy hour too

Yelp
This spot doesn't have much for vegans but they have stuff to eat for vegans! The staff are awesome, super helpful with the whiskey menu, very knowledgeable, as one would expect. The prices are in line with other spots in the area. The place is pretty big, plenty of table seating and bar seating. My spouse and I had a great time. She enjoyed the non-alcoholic drinks while I enjoyed the whiskey menu. We will definitely be back when we are in the area next.

Yelp
I came here with a friend and we'd never been to the Ballard location. But it was a slower night during the week and the staff could not have been more friendly. From jokes to special cocktails to free food, there are many reasons to come here. Enjoy the second location!

Yelp
Amazing cocktails! Great service! Made me a delicious gin cocktail-I know, it's a whiskey bar but they have other great stuff. And get the tots!

Yelp
We've loved their original location and this place, we could bring our kids, so we went. Our expectation was pretty high.... food was ok. I don't know. Maybe we expected too much. We'll try again though.

Yelp
My family & I went for brunch. This is a wonderful southern food brunch experience. The location is clean & modern with old whiskey shop vibes. The grilled peach Bellinis were bomb. The shrimp and grits were so well seasoned. Totally recommend

Yelp
Wow. We had a GREAT dinner at Radiator! The food was delicious, staff were gracious and attentive and the drinks were incredible. I have to give a BIG shoutout to Jess and Chris! Last but not least: the bread pudding CHANGED MY LIFE. Finally: there are 5 pokéstops. 10/10 would recommend!!
