"On the 32nd floor of the Part-Dieu Tower (165m in all), which the locals call "The Pencil", you can take in both the magnificent city and the modern cuisine, which gives pride of place to the produce. Variations on mushrooms; fillet of John Dory with parsnips, saffron and white cocoa; pear, sage and pineapple pavlova." - Michelin Inspector

A comfortable and modern hotel with a good starting point for excursions in Lyon and with a brilliant view of the entire city! The hotel is located in one of the few (five) skyscrapers in the city, so in this way not a representative building for the area. The hotel has all the amenities you can imagine and the rooms are relatively small but comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the service impeccable. Rooms are clean, stylish and quiet.||However, two small things were not fully resolved - firstly, the windows were partly quite dirty so the view was a bit difficult to enjoy 100% (maybe due to bad timing on our part), and secondly, their restaurant does not offer any great gastronomic experience, although the food is ok. The bar does its job but cannot serve a classic Irish Coffée, but all these small misses in an otherwise pleasant and comfortable experience!

The day i arrived, i needed some change to pay the taxi as i was not able to link the card to the Uber app. The lady at the reception was kind enough to immediately arrange the cash. There end the good things. From here on, the stay experience was disappointing. ||The room temperature was 25 deg, i was not able to reduce the room temperature although the instructions say that the normal room temperature should be between 20-23 deg. When informed the reception, i was told that the technician is not available to fix it immediately and i was given a table fan instead. I stayed for 6 days, and this was the response every day!! ||We were 5 colleagues staying in 5 different rooms, who were in Lyon for business meetings, and this was the situation in all the 5 rooms. So, change of rooms was also not possible as we realised this might be a problem with the whole hotel. ||Coming back to the good things, the morning buffet was very good with widespread of options.

I really liked the room. Small but super well designed and clean. The view is beautiful and the hotel well located but the area is a bit “rough around the edges”. The fish and chips at €26 were poor. The fish was dry, the chips tasted like they came from a frozen bag of chips you can buy at the supermarket. €26! ||The reception staff were not welcoming. No smile, they asked for my email address and suddenly I’m receiving advertising emails about Radisson I never asked for. The breakfast team was really good and engaging. Very well organised to clear tables etc.

Great location, great service and good rooms: soundproof and great beds. Now the negative: 1. The gym is a joke and clearly set up by someone who has never seen a gym in his/her life. This is not acceptable for a Radisson. Some people are constantly on the move for work and want to stay fit and do their daily workout. This gym is a joke compared to other Radissons. 2. The buffet is mostly patisserie, bread, cold cuts and cheese. While you can have an omelette, some fruit salad, boiled eggs and yoghurt, that's about it for healthy choices. Again, if you're on the move all the time and you want a healthy lifestyle, you expect some more fruits like bananas, some avocado, smoked salmon, mixed salads and maybe something like check breast instead of bacon, greasy sausages, baked potatoes and just bread .... I've been using Radisson for many years, and other Radissons, especially in Africa have way better buffets.

This was my first stay at a Radisson Blu, and while there were many positives, there were also some areas that clearly need improvement. The highlights: the building itself was stunning with a beautiful view, and as a member, I appreciated the complimentary water, VIP dining benefits, and room upgrade. These touches definitely added to the experience. However, there were several disappointing aspects. On the first day, housekeeping wasn't completed until after 3 PM, which meant I couldn't access my room for quite a while. The cleaning itself felt rushed—for example, when I reported that the shower wasn’t draining properly, the cleaned-out hair was left in the toilet, which was unacceptable. Water bottles and coffee capsules weren’t replenished unless specifically requested, and there were issues with receiving the invoice properly. Overall, while the location and core services were strong, the hotel has quite a few areas that need attention to meet the standard expected of a premium brand.

Not recommended. Value for money 0 Very bad experience. Noisy Air conditioner. Cleaning started a at 7 AM at the corridor, tapping the door. Internet does not working properly. Poor reception for the phone. About one and half hour waiting on the reception desk. We are traveling a lot but never had that bad experience. Access from the train station is not that easy as is look like on the map - 15’ walking, no problem but it is mostly stairs/ elevators did not work and we had luggages. Sorry for Radisson Blu name. The view can be nice .. after all. We did not experienced breakfast

We were hospitably received at the hotel, despite problems with booking a room on our part (booking through an agency). The rooms are spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the city. I might miss a little variety at breakfast. During the week we stayed at the hotel, breakfast was monotonous, but tasty and there was enough food. The only criticism regarding the rooms is the ventilation, heating and cooling, which I have not studied at all. In April, I would have expected a slightly higher temperature in the rooms. It was quite cold.

Nice hotel near the train station. Tram stop right out front so easy access to town and attractions. Super nice staff.

Yelp
A very nice hotel. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable and view of the city of Lyon from the hotel was wonderful. Breakfast was very good and had lots of varieties. We stayed in Lyon for 3 days and so after having a good breakfast in the morning we were able to go sightseeing with energy and without feeling hungry till late afternoon. Customer service was good. There was construction going on and this hotel entrance was in a one way street so we had to drive couple of rounds before getting into the hotel parking. Overall a nice hotel and would love to stay again.

Yelp
Located within a walking distance from Lyon train station, convenient location as walk to the old town was 20 mins. Front desk is located on the 32nd floor. Rooms are from 33rd to 39th floors. Depending on which room you get, view could be fantastic. My room view was just okay but I enjoyed a nice view of old town from breakfast restaurant on the 32nd floor. Really tall building, easy to spot from far away. Room was adequate. Bed was a bit too hard for my liking but they were clean. Rather small room but good enough for just one night. For those traveling with a large suitcase, may have hard time opening a suitcase. Service was excellent, very friendly and professional staff, speak perfect English. If my travel brings back to Lyon, I would stay here again
