I often stay at Radisson Blu hotels worldwide, but in Lyon I only visited the bar instead of renting a room. The location is convenient, right by Lyon Gare station, making it more of a transit stop for a maximum two-night stay if you’re passing through. The bar offers great city views and is perfect for drinks, but the food was disappointing — below average and far from proper BBQ (they served ketchup with spicy sauce instead). Rooms are clean and classy but overpriced for what they offer, and overall this property feels more about the brand name than the excellent service I’ve experienced at Radisson in the Middle East. Come for the drinks, views, and convenience, not the food.
