The 33 Best Late Night Restaurants In Los Angeles - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Rad Na Silom is kind of like a mirage: it appears nightly at 5pm to transform an entire half-block of Hollywood Blvd into a Thai street food kitchen before vanishing at midnight. But if you show up between these hours after a few drinks at Harvard & Stone, then, no, you're not hallucinating— Rad Na Silom is real. There's a short menu of eight noodle dishes, including some excellent pad thai and pad see ew noodles in savory rad na gravy. Sit at one of the sidewalk tables with your plate of steaming noodles and take in the eclectic late-night crowd as Adele covers blast from the sound system." - Brant Cox, Arden Shore, Nikko Duren, Sylvio Martins, Garrett Snyder

The 25 Best Thai Restaurants In Los Angeles - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"LA has lots of great street vendors, but few of them put on a show like Rad Na Silom. Every day from 6pm to midnight, this curbside stir-fry station outside Silom Supermarket in Thai Town turns into a half-block of folding tables and string lights, sizzling woks, and speakers blasting melodramatic Sam Smith covers (they also make an appearance at Smorgasburg on Sundays). The stir-fried noodles you’ll find here are among the best in LA, from chewy wide rice noodles smoothed in rad na gravy to a saucy-but-balanced pad thai topped with handfuls of dried shrimp, ground peanuts, and bean sprouts. Everything on their simple eight-dish menu is just $10, and if you’re here Friday through Sunday, make sure to hit the outrageously good Thai boat noodle vendor that sets up on the same block, Mae Malai." - Brant Cox, Arden Shore, Garrett Snyder, Nikko Duren, Sylvio Martins

Rad Na Silom Review - East Hollywood - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Like a puppy adoption at a weekend farmers market, Rad Na Silom attracts a crowd. Starting around 5pm each night, this Thai noodle vendor sets ups outside Silom Supermarket in Thai Town, transforming a half-block of Hollywood Blvd. with a line of tables and a wok station that cranks out stir-fried dishes in minutes. It's a quick, convenient spot that makes some of the city's best pad thai and pad see ew while you wait curbside. Rad Na Silom is cash only and ordering is pretty straightforward: there are just eight dishes to choose from, made with either flat or thin rice noodles. Some, like the pad thai topped with bean sprouts and dried shrimp, get vigorously stir-fried in the wok, while others are smothered in a silky rad na gravy. If noodles aren't your thing, there's a single eggy fried rice on the menu, too. All the dishes here go for a reasonable $10 each, though we do wish the portions were a little larger—don't expect the mountainous piles of pad thai you might pay more for at one of the neighborhood’s many sit-down Thai restaurants. The crowd tends to vary between early evening and when the last orders are served around midnight. Earlier on, you'll usually see families, students, and software engineers talking on work calls between mouthfuls. Later, you'll see groups of seven having a bite after a successful happy hour and maybe one person in sweatpants picking up some mango sticky rice (the lone dessert) to go. The ambiance here is one of a kind: As you listen to the roar of wok burners and melodramatic Sam Smith covers playing on the sound system, you'll be hit with various appetizing odors—fish sauce, seared pork, and fried eggs—as each dish is cooked to order. Of course, it all smells ten times better late at night after you’ve had a few cocktails at nearby Harvard & Stone. Though it's the only street noodle vendor we know of popping up every night in Thai Town, Rad Na Silom is more than just a novelty. We suggest coming here whenever you want excellent Thai noodles on a budget but can't be bothered to wait for a table or skim through a menu that's a hundred items long. photo credit: Jessie Clapp Food Rundown photo credit: Garrett Snyder Pad See Ew in Rad Na This soupy, slippery noodle dish is probably not the best for sharing, or at least if you want to keep your t-shirt clean. But we don’t mind keeping this bowl of tender sliced pork and crunchy broccoli rabe to ourselves. The flat noodles are wonderfully chewy and come in a thick, gravy-like sauce that’s surprisingly light and has a peppery kick on the back end. photo credit: Jessie Clapp Pad Thai Rad Na Silom's pad thai is just the right amount of sweet, with some nice jolts of fish sauce and tamarind that push this dish into savory territory. The noodles themselves are chewy and saucy without being too oily, and come topped with a big handful of crunchy dried shrimp, bean sprouts, and crushed peanuts." - Sylvio Martins

Google
I saw this place on YouTube. I went because I wanted to try their bbq sticks. But sadly when I finally got to visit, they only had the Thai Noodles available. I asked when will the Bbq stick stall be back and the guy said probably not in a while. I got the Pad See Ew. These had the wide style noodles which were nice and chewy. A little bit spicy with lots of flavors. Love how they are made on the spot so it if still hot. Had a good amount of meat and some vegetables. It was very filling and savory. The dining experience was nice. Felt like you were eating street food in asian country which was fun. The parking is on the streets so you'll need some quarters to pay meter parking. The guy working there was helpful and accommodating and had decent english. Great place for a street food experience in Thai Town.

Google
A small pavement or sidewalk eatery that offers thai food like rad na noodles, fried rice, noodle soup, pad see ew etc for $10 a bowl. Pretty flavorful dishes. Crew are really nice. Tables on the sidewalk are amply cleaned. Has a limited menu.

Google
Great environment with other Thai food vendors and friendly service with a smile. However when it comes to value, simply one star. The thai tea is literally all ice so it was about two sips. Definitely not worth $5. Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were not bad but appetizer serving size for $10. Be prepared to leave hungry.

It’s streets style foods ten dollars each. Thai style and taste, I like.

Google
Not your basic pad see ew and pad Thai you can get at any other restaurant. Super authentic pad see ew, pad thai, and rad na. My personal favorite is pad see ew with extra noodles dressed up with a little bit of the provided chili vinegar and chili flakes. You can taste that smokiness from the wok and the soy sauce mixture is perfect. Pad Thai is very much like the kind you’d have in Thailand, not too sweet and not orange in color, served with dried shrimp, lime, and fresh sprouts. Staff is also wonderful. One of my favorite Thai places in LA.

Google
Cant afford to go to Thailand but eating here sitting at the tables makes me feel like I'm there! They no longer serve the bbq sticks everyone raves about. The Ka Pao with fried egg is FIRE

It was a Saturday night. This was my first time visiting this street-food vendor. I heard of it on NPR. I loved the vibe, the food, the scene. We had the Ka Pao Special with an egg, the RadNa, and the Fried Rice... The food was reasonably priced, prepared fast and served hot. We were fortunate to find an open table. Make sure to use the bathroom before you arrive, as no facilities provided.

Google
The Bbq are good! They remind me of the real street food in Thailand or Little Shick bbq in Front of high school. You can order them mild and it's not gonna be spicy at all or super spicy. I wish I would've done an order of beef too. I tried out the chicken and it was good! It's the equivalent of chickenBBq. It was flavorful. It's balanced when eating super spicy items. I'm excited to try out the noodle Rad na. Apparently there's Chinese broccoli in it? Ordering: it takes a while 15min so I would recommend ordering the cocao drink also.

Yelp
The flavors were all there- non-diluted! The pad thai was flavorful and the noodles were well cooked. The curry was creamy. They did not have the green mango salad. Their papaya salad was good although I feel like they did not give enough of the actual papaya. Overall I was satisfied!

Yelp
Compared to a few years back this street food spot has gained a few more food stalls to neighbor it. There is now a bbq meet place, a salad and fresh foods place and a dessert one. I got three plates, one pad Thai, one pork fried rice and one of their new ground pork with egg dish. Pad Thai is good as always, fried rice was lacking flavor as before but they have seasoning for you to use. Their ground pork with egg was so good but holy crap it was spicy. It did have a good spice though I recommend it.

Yelp
Exciting to see that LA's Thai-town has an outdoor food stall just next to the big Silom Thai market. Apparently this former during COVID and they have not left. My partner and I saw this place on Instagram and decided to check it out. The people working here were really friendly. My basic ass decided on a pad see ewe at first buy then we ended up ordering the Kra Pao. I found the pad see ewe to be pretty good, but was disappointed that they can't adjust the spice level as they cook. The lady told me I could add it myself. That didn't feel all that authentic in my mind. Additionally, the portion size was pretty small for the cost. Was definitely still hungry after eating it. The Kara Pao on the other hand was delicious and the portion size bigger for sure. I think I'd come back to try other things, but would hope the sizing of the meals make sense considering the pricing. The is another stall next to this one that was pretty popular called Der Grill, and many people were ordering the hot pot style meals which seemed interesting.

Yelp
The 2024 Smorgasburg season kicked off today, 1/14/2024! While it is not close to me, I usually go at least once or twice a month. It's an ideal spot for outdoor dining with diverse culinary offerings, exploring distinctive shops, and soaking in a positive atmosphere. Smorgasburg LA is open every Sunday on the five-acre site of the weekday Alameda Produce Market in Downtown Los Angeles, which is part of a larger, new development called ROW DTLA. Each Sunday from 10 AM - 4 PM, you will find dozens of exciting food vendors plus sophisticated shopping from the realms of design, craft, style, vintage, wellness, and more. Cultural events, pop-ups, and other surprises transform the vast site into a new node in Downtown LA's burgeoning scene, and a unique destination for the area. Today, I tried Pad See Ew from the Radna Silom vendor. In terms of rating for that, I want to give it 4.5 stars due to price and portion ($15+tax and not much on the plate). I remember it being larger before. Overall, it is a must-check out for various foodie options. Tip: -Free 2 hr parking -Take your food outside of the main space and sit in the main ROW area -Go with others to try many things

Yelp
Came here one day with wifey. I wanted to sit in but my wife was feeling cold that day since the seating is outside, so we just ordered to go. First I wanted the famous pad thai but it was unavailable so we settled with beef pad see ew and the angel hair radna noodles. Each noodles are $10 each cheaper than any thai noodles out there. It supposed to include rice. We waited half an hour for our order to finish due to I guess they were missing an ingredient that they have to get on that time they were cooking our noodles. Finally we got our order and headed home. They didn't include the rice in our order. Portions were small that's why it's $10. Pad see ew taste like a normal thai pad see ew. Taste just like any pad see ew I have tried. Now the radna noodles was surprisingly good. It's different! I liked it! but then again portion was small. Place looks clean enough though. Smoke and dirt from Vehicles passing makes it not so clean. It's a streetfood what do we expect. I'll be back to try their famous pad thai someday. 3 stars for now!

Yelp
I had very high expectations of this place since I saw it on an IG food post. First of all, I'd give it 4 stars for the authentic street food experience as there are tables and little plastic chairs set up on the sidewalk to eat like you are in Southeast Asia. There were essentially 4 stalls... 1st stall had Thai inspired desserts crepes/mango sticky rice. 2nd stall had an assortment of papaya/vermicelli cold seafood salads & grilled meat. 3rd stall (what I came for) was the Radna/pad Thai/pad-see-ew stir-fry dishes. And last stall had more fried dishes like fried chicken/ fried chicken skins/fried shrimp and such. I was utterly disappointed . Disclaimer: I don't eat beef nor pork. The Radna spot only had pork as an option. Sadly, I chose the pad Thai with tofu and small fried shrimps. I didn't care for the tofu, it seemed like it was marinated and pan fried. The after taste isn't very good. I think fried tofu would've been better. No other protein so dish was lacking. I ordered the bbq chicken plate there based on the suggestion of the girl up front. It missed the mark also. Presentation is great but flavor was lacking. We also ordered from the fried food stall and got some fried shrimp. Nothing spectacular. Tastes like popcorn shrimp. What was unexpected though was the seafood vermicelli salad. It was full of flavor and umami. This was the best dish of the night by far. And of course we had to end the night with mango/sticky rice. That was also okay. Like I said, my experience is only based off of what I ordered. I would've loved to try the wok fried noodle dishes like rad na or even pad kra pao. I only wished they offered other protein choices. As for service, they were very friendly. When you order you get a pager and once it goes off, you can proceed to pick up your food. Sometimes they'll even bring it to your table if you ordered to eat there. Atmosphere was cool... because of the music, the smell of the food being cooked and pleasant weather at night made it a unique experience if you've never tried it before.

Yelp
I can't believe it's taken me this long to visit Thai Town in LA. It's not very big, but located right in front of Silom Supermarket on evenings. There are a few street vendors setup just like if you were actually in Thailand. I'm really enjoying the vibe of this place and glad my friend recommended it to me. We parked in the lot next door, which is $3 for 90 minutes. We tried two of the stalls, which included a Pad See Ew ($10), Thai Boat Noodle ($7), and two Chrysanthemum drinks ($2 each). You do get a buzzer to be alerted when your food is ready, but they also call out your order. We got our food within 5-10 minutes. Although the price is pretty cheap, the portions are pretty small too. It does make for good sharing, so you can try more items though. I would recommend 2 dishes per person, but we weren't too hungry so this was perfect. I loved the flavors in both the pad see ew and Thai boat noodles; would definitely order both again. Delicious food and great vibes. This is definitely something you need to try in LA to get a little taste of Thailand.

Yelp
After 5 visits, I can confidently say that this is my go-to spot for Pad Thai (which I don't really order much of at other places because they tend to be sweet) and Kra Pao. Pad Thai's well balanced in flavor. Noodles still chewy. The toppings are LEGIT. Kra Pao spice level is great. I used to ask for Thai Medium Spicy (yes, there's a difference between US and Thai spice levels) and now I don't even have to because it's on point. Ambiance makes you feel like you're in Thailand. Service is absolutely amazing all the time too.

Yelp
Legit straight up Thai food vendors. Delicious! Check it out! Tables to sit at on the side walk. Order crepes, noodles, ka pao, pad Thai etc!

Yelp
Street small Thai business, I love to see it! Located in front of the Simon market you'll see this stand. Maybe 10 items on the menu with an open kitchen right on the curb for you to watch them cook. Tried 3 items which were all made fresh to order and deliciously bold in flavor. Pad Thai, Rad Na with thick flat noodles and the ground port Ka Pao with egg. Every item costs between $10-14 depending on add ons. The pad Thai was packed with flavor and on the drier side. Rad na was a stew perfect for the cold night - loved that it came with Chinese broccoli! And the ground pork Ka pao was delicious and savory with the basil dominant flavor! All 3 went well together with different textures. Tips: outside tables available and they're open late. Parking avail on the street (read signs) $1 for 1 hour until 8 PM.

Yelp
Pros -cheap affordable Thai street food -ample seating -pad Thai was the star Cons -pad see ew and kra pow was average -parking is a nightmare and your best bet may be valet

Yelp
LA don't sleep on this authentic Thai street food experience! A mother and son duo cook'n up decades long family recipes is a must try. Top tip bring your own beverages and parking is on the street.

Yelp
Pad thai was so delicious! On the side streets, you'll see little tables and large signage for dishes all $10. Cash is preferred, but they also take venmo. The little tables on the sidewalk remind me of Asia which I loved. They have pickled peppers and dry chilis on each table to change your spice preference. While I thought the drunken noodles was going to be the star (based on what I was seeing online), it was really the pad thai and I'm so glad we ordered it. The pad thai noodles were sauced up but still bouncy, the fried onion pieces for that crunch and then the bean sprouts for some freshness. Loved it. What I especially loved was the dried shrimp as well! So good! The drunken noodles were good, but if I had to choose one to try, pad thai for sure. The drunken noodles had that charred wok taste which was great, but was all kind of one flavor note. The vegetables were also sauteed in the same sauce and not as crunchy as I was imagining. Get the pad thai!

Yelp
Best Pad Thai in LA! I've seen an article about this place and finally got to try it at Smorgasburg. So flavorful and different from the other places. Their pad see ew is also so good! Also ordered: Ka pao, radna crispy noodles and fried rice. Each dish is around $15. Portions are on the smaller side. There's seating along sidewalk. There's street parking or park towards the market for a fee. You can find them at Smorgasburg on Sunday. Highly recommended!

Yelp
4++ I saw this place talked about on someone's video and wanted to eat here ever since. I actually even saw them at the noodle fest at the Santa Anita race track the other week but I didn't put two and two together. My friend got their noodles at that fest instead he thought this Pad Thai was even better than the Pad Thai he's had in Thailand. So I made it a point to come here to get noodles before I went to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl the other day. Since I couldn't believe I passed up on them when they were right under my nose. To be fair, the other vendors were amazing as well at the noodle fest and there is only so much you can eat. There's a lot of things I really like about this place. It's got a really simple menu so you know what to order. Of course, I was pretty darn sure I was gonna order the Pad Thai. The prices were pretty darn good at $10 for the dish I want it. Just be sure to bring cash. We got here right around 5 PM. They were still setting up and not quite ready yet, but we put in our order and went into the market to pick up a few things. When we got out we took a seat along the sidewalk and our food was ready within a few minutes. So I can't say that I am a connoisseur of Pad Thai really, but I know if I do like it or not. And like it I did! It definitely has more of a tamarind/ fish sauce flavor combo that gives a nice sweet and savory balance. It doesn't have the peanut buttery flavor that some places has. The noodles had a great chewiness and the dried shrimp, sprouts, and crushed peanuts gave it a great contrast in texture. I was also able to get a bite of the pad see ew and I thought that was amazing as well. In terms of street vendors and their offerings, this place is near the top for me. I like the atmosphere and the food very much and there really isn't a lot of meals where you can do better for $10. Just great all around in my book. If you want a cheap delicious Thai meal that won't take up a lot of time, than this is your place. I went here obviously on the earlier side before a concert. I can't speak to how the wait or environment is when you come here for a late night eats. It is open till midnight so I wonder how the place is when you come here on the later side.

Yelp
I will be completely honest, I discovered this place from Instagram Reels. I was informed of Lad Nah Silom, being very close to Los Angeles' Thai town, and right outside of their popular grocery store. Luckily, this was the only street food vender about two months later, when I finally made it to Los Angeles. I took the Metro and realized that this place is a literal block away from one of the stops. Very convenient place with a few parking options along the main road. It took a while before the young gentleman that was running in-person and on-line(?) orders got to me. The menu was very simple, with about 8 different items, no choices of protein variations, and a few beverage options. Photographs of the options were displayed on and around their set-up, with a bright flashing LED screen switching between better quality images of the food. I ended up getting the pad see ew and a young coconut. After paying, I was given a buzzer to notify me and to collect the food once all was ready. Being that it was a 3 person operation, and the food prepped but made to order, it took a good 15 literal minutes before the pad see ew was ready to collect. At $10 for each item, it was fairly inexpensive. The quantity of the food, however, was apparently proportional to the low cost. To be honest, the item they made was a little too salty as they were heavy handed with the sauces. The young coconut was a bit pricey and overall, it was definitely U.S. prices for a U.S. style of street food. I don't think I will come back, as there are a lot of other restaurants to try. Places that have chairs with back support for an old fella like me. It gets a chilly once the sun sets and my aging body isn't as prepared to handle all that anymore.

Yelp
I grew up on lad nah, which is a family favorite and my mom and dad make it well (they owned a Thai restaurant back in the day!). I loved the Thailand street food feel, with just a simple menu, $10 cash only. I got an order of lad nah to go (it comes with pork only). The next day it reheated well and tasted delicious and authentic! You could taste the wok hei charred flavor on the noodles (they use a huge fire powered wok setup here!). That's key! And the lad nah gravy was sweet and savory, with the right consistency to stick to the noodles. The pork was also well marinated and so tender! Yum!

Yelp
I was in Thai town and had this placed book marked after watching some videos on social media. They set up right outside the silom market. You can go inside and buy a drink before they close if you don't want a $4 (or $5 thai tea). I got the Lad Nah , which is a gravy on fried noodles. I also got the pad see ew with extra noodles. It's good, but nothing crazy. They're using a propane powered wok outdoors and it's cool to watch, but pretty standard. Portion sizes are normal to small. Flavor on the Lad Nah was good. Well cooked. The Pad See Ewe was okay, maybe a little over cooked, but not bad. Cool to try if you're in the area, but kind of reminds me just finding a vendor at the thai temple.

Yelp
Hole in the wall street food vendor that provides an authentic experience! Now this is exactly how street food is like in Asia. [ Location ]: Silom Supermarket [ Parking ]: I recommend street parking but if you really can't find it, there's a parking lot for other restaurants to the right [ Dining ]: You get the full street food experience with street side tables and chairs. Order at the food stall and you'll receive a buzzer while you grab a table on the left side. They also have chili rack at every table for those who like heat! **Cash only! Food is $10 regardless of the dish, canned coconut water was $4. I got the Pad Thai and it was amazing! They made it meatless with exception of some dry shrimp on top. My friend ordered the Rad Na and was in love with it as well. It was overall such a great experience and I'm definitely coming back to try the other dishes!

Yelp
This is a hidden gem that we discovered on TikTok. We were skeptical at first since they were the only vendor on the open street but the food blew my whole family away. The cashier guy was super nice and always had a smile on his face. The food portion is a bit smaller than those in the restaurants but the dishes are quite filling. My brother said their food is the closest to when he had it in Thailand. Every dish is $10 and cash only. There's seating set up around the stall. Nad Na Crispy Noodle: This was really good & the family favorite. The noodles remain crispy even when drenched with the soup. The flavors were amazing and the crunchy texture of the noodles made the dish all the more fun to eat. Highly recommend! Rad Na Thin Noodles: The soup is the same flavor as the one used in the nad na but they give a lot more. I was not a fan of the thin noodles as they bundled together. It was good but I prefer the nad na over this. Pad Thai: This was really good the first time we had it and better than the pad see ew. The second time we had it, they put in these 1" dry shrimps instead of the baby dry shrimps so the smell & salty flavor really stood out. I am not a fan of dry shrimps so I didn't like it. They also missed the peanuts & the portion size for the 2nd time was a lot smaller than the first time. Pad See Ew Flat Noodle: They cook the food in a wok so you definitely get that nice burn on the noodles. The flavor was a lot better the 2nd time but they skimped on the meat. Coconut ($6): This was not worth it. There was barely any liquid in our coconut. Overall, the food is still full of umami and different from any Thai restaurants that we've been to.

Yelp
All the foods here taste too sweet. I have pad see ew and I taste all my friends food and they all taste very sweet it's like they put too much sugar or MSG. Also there is no water included and I was super thirsty. There are not a lot in the menu because they are around six different types of dishes. But they cook in front of you. The food is cash only or you can Zelle them. The portion is rather small hence, why it costs only $10. You get what you pay for. We parked on the street but I don't think there are parking unless you go to the lot next to it which cost three dollars for valet. I saw this restaurant from my friend TikTok recommendation. I do love that it has a lot of condiments on the side

Yelp
This place is so awesome -- just like being on the streets of Bangkok here in LA. Portions are on the small side, but hey, I say helps with portion control. I used to drive by the spot all the time but a few months back decided to stop and had their grilled chicken bowl. It was fantastic and the perfect late night meal after I did a moonlight hike through Griffith (which was so amazing and creepy all at once!). I've come back a few more times and everything is spot on. Order the fresh coconut and drink the coconut water, paired with any of their noodle dishes. Then grab one of the sidewalk tables. You'll likely see the craziness of LA pass you by, but the whole energy is fun and festive. I haven't had a bad meal here and can't wait to come back!

Food is legit but not sure if this place is still opened or moved. I went this past weekend and they along with the other stalls weren't there. Now I'm craving.

Yelp
Appreciate the fast service, customer service was very accommodating to us as we did not have any soy sauce, plates, etc at our hotel. They improvised on the Togo containers for us. The food was tasty, and reminds me so much of the street markets of Bangkok! Love the tables they had outside for the quick dining. Neighbor is sketchy but that's LA for you!

Yelp
A small but busy Thai restaurant offering delicious and authentic dishes. Their massaman curry and stir-fried basil chicken are customer favorites. Friendly service and fair prices make it a great choice for casual dining.

Yelp
Hands down the BEST PAD THAI IN TOWN. That's all I wanted to say, but yelp insists on this review having 85 characters, so here's a useless sentence to fill the void XD
google avatar

Yelp
Found this really cute street vendor! There was gingham tables and plastic chairs that you can sit on, it's hard to come across street vendors with seating so that definitely was a plus! I got pad thai, drunken noodles, and the fried rice. For drinks, I got thai tea. I thought it was a tad bit sweet but nonetheless it satisfied my craving. The pad thai was so yummy and would definitely recommend the most!

Legit one of the best spots to hit for some good radna and Thai ice tea! The consistency of the Thai ice tea definitely reminiscent of how Thai ice teas are made in Thailand (highly recommend). My go-to dish that never disappoints would be the crispy noodle radna. The plus side is they open late everyday and when I was to eat some good Thai food after hours, this is always the place that is open (except for when it rains too hard). There's also nearby vendors that are open on Saturday and Sunday that are worth trying as well.

Yelp
We first saw this street food gem while driving by and noticing the big wok fires and ample seating on the sidewalk. There's plenty of metered street parking nearby as well. Pros include, good, spicy Thai food at reasonable prices; the dishes are all $10 and for an extra charge you can add an egg to some dishes. The minced pork over rice was definitely the highlight for me, it was delicious with a nice spicy kick! The portions are just right, you can easily get by with 1 dish per person and leave satisfied. Cons, the Thai tea felt like it was 80-90% ice, and pretty pricey considering the cost of the dishes. The Rad Na was a new one for me too. We got it with the crispy noodles. It's described as crispy noodles with a thick gravy and pork. The pork seemed slightly undercooked, and kind of had a mushy consistency. The gravy too was kind of watery, so the crispy noodles got very soggy right away. Other than that, definitely happy with the experience and would recommend over all.

Yelp
Everything here is delicious -- you truly cannot go wrong! They have a small menu but such a wide variety of flavors. I actually had this a few weeks ago but decided to write the review now because I'm craving it again. For four of us (with, admittedly, big appetites), 7 dishes (not all pictured) seemed to be enough food. It was my first time trying radna, so I can't give comparisons, but my life has been changed. It's probably my new favorite Thai dish. Also, I went in thinking that I wasn't a fan of pad thai but I've been converted. It turns out that I've just never had pad thai that I liked! I am in LOVE with the pad thai here. I believe there is only street parking. It's not the most convenient and you might have to walk, but compared to the rest of LA finding parking isn't too bad. And either way, the inconvenience is worth it :)

Yelp
Thai style street food noodles. No frills street food located in Thai town. They have a limited menu of around 10 noodle dishes (each dish costs 10$ each). You order at the tent and then sit down at one of the tables on the side. You can see them making the noodles fresh in front of you. They give you a buzzer and you can pick up your food from the counter once your buzzer goes off. Each of the tables comes with different sauces (hot sauce, chili, salt/sugar). We ended up ordering the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and the Radna. My favorite was definitely the Pad Thai which comes with peanuts and dried shrimp. The noodles aren't super oily, but the sauce is so flavorful, very tangy, sweet, savory all at once. The noodles come out piping hot and the texture is very chewy and delicious. The portions are a bit on the smaller size so if you get a big group I would order a dish or two extra to share.

Yelp
Was super excited to see what the hype was about with this place and ultimately came away a little underwhelmed. Located on Hollywood Blvd. in the heart of Thai Town, the ambiance is fun and lively. From my understanding, it's meant to bring a bit of the Bangkok energy to the streets of LA. On a warmer night (as it was), it was quite novel and we enjoyed it. The food, while tasty, left a bit to be desired. Pad thai for me (after reading the reviews - "best in LA") and pad krapow gai for the girlfriend. While we saw them cooking up the food fresh, it just wasn't hot by the time our buzzer went off. We were left disappointed by this, as any stirfry fresh out of a wok should be prohibitively hot the moment it's served. We were also bummed when we ordered a thai iced tea after being told it was 14oz in volume. The cup resembled something closer to 10oz, and with the vast majority being ice, there couldn't have been more than 4oz of liquid. We felt that was a pretty lousy deal. The larger dried shrimp in my pad thai were a nice touch and what I imagine resemble more of an authentic serving from a cart in Thailand. Certainly not as common over here. The pad krapow did have a good heat to it, especially with a little bit of prik nam pla drizzled over it. Happy to support them but might be wise to temper expectations after some of the rave reviews.

Yelp
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL YOU GORDOS OUT THERE!! This spot is bomb. Easy menu. $10 plates!!! My favorites are the pork fried rice and the pork pad see eww. The service is friendly and prompt. Although when it comes to food I do not like to pester the individuals preparing my food. Never a wise thing to do. They post up on the block next to the religious Thai statue ( I don't mean to offend anyone, I just don't know the official name of their deity). They are directly across the street from the Thai bbq restaurant. Chill environment. Al fresco if you will. They accept cash, Apple Pay and card. Bomb food for Netflix and chill, on a budget or you just love bomb Thai food. This spot is it!!!!!! I do recommend. As a matter of fact I was there last night 01/02/2024 and I have some for lunch at work. Thank you for reading my post. Peace!

Yelp
Looking for the best sidewalk That food in town? This is it. But it's also among the very best tasting Thai food around, whether on the sidewalk or at a regular restaurant. Everything is really well flavored, but the Pad Kapow stir-fried ground pork and basil bowl is not to be missed. Haven't had this at any other restaurants, which is a shame, because it's just that good.

Yelp
rare authentic street food experience in THAI TOWN LA, located right outside of the Silom supermarket, they have a kitchen & seatings set up on the sidewalk. small menu and everything is $10 (cash only). we got the pad thai and pad see ew, the WOK HEI (if you know, you know :p) flavor was outstanding, and overall DELICIOUS. what a unique experience here in LA, highly recommended!!

Yelp
This is probably my favorite spot in LA for pad Thai and pad see ew. The set up on the sidewalk in front of the market reminds me of the street food stalls on the side of the roads in Bangkok. They don't have a big menu but make everything to order and it tastes so good. This has become a go to late night spot for my whenever I'm in the Hollywood area.

Yelp
Thai street food stall / restaurant outside a grocery store in Thai town. Came here for a late night meal during the week. No line though parking was a bit of a pain even at 11p. We ordered the Ka Pao Feeg, Pad See Ew, and one Green Tea drink (almost like a smoothie). The food was all very good. Tasty, not overly sauced, and not expensive. The Green Tea drink was 100 rude boy one time. Delicious, delicious. I'd come back next time I'm in the area!

Yelp
Gave here a try since I was in the area and heard about it online. Payment: cash only. All the dishes on the limited menu are $10 each (includes tax so $10 is really all you're paying!) Food: I got the pad see ew. I'm not sure if you can change the meat but I believe mine came with pork. I would rate the dish a 8/10. It's solid. The veggies and noodles were freshly cooked and had a good flavor. After adding in some chili flakes and white pepper, it had the spice I wanted. Seating: they have at least 8 outside tables set up on the sidewalk with about 4 seats each. The tables come with fish sauce, white pepper, and various spices to use. Don't think I would drive out specifically for this but if I'm in the area, I'd stop by!

Yelp
A gem!!! Saw a few photos of the food here and was sold. The menu consists of about 8 items and all are priced at $10. We ordered the pad Thai and the pad see ew and both were AMAZING!!! At first glance, the portions looked a bit small, but it ended up being a nice portion size that was filling. The pad Thai is one of the best I ever had. Everything is cooked fresh on the wok as they are ordered. Service was fast and there's seating on the side. I loved the authentic feel and taste of the food and how they're open til midnight! Definitely gonna try their other options next time.

Yelp
Literally almost passed out from how amazing this place is... BEST PAD THAI EVER. The bowls look small but it's the perfect portion size for one person. We tried their Pad Thai and Pad See Ew and actually- chef's kiss, perfection~ It's a simple menu but the pictures don't do justice of how flavorful and perfectly topped these dishes were. This was the first Thai place around the area I found that used authentic dry shrimp to top off their Pad Thai in the most delicious way. Also if you're in the area, the Thai night market down the street that's open on Mondays/Tuesdays is a great place to check out after picking up one of these delicious bowls as well!!

Yelp
Located in front of Silom Supermarket this place in Thai Town opens at 5pm, has seating on the street, is cash only, and only on the weekends do they serve really good tom yum soup! Their Tom Yum has the perfect spicy/sour taste! The serving is small, but the taste and flavors have me planning to return! Also, down a couple vendors you can find some great crispy garlic chicken wings and garlic pork ribs!

Yelp
One of the best pad thais in town!! Authentic, not overly salty, noodles cooked just right. Eating on the street brings me back to asia. 11/10 gotta check it out!

Yelp
Wonderful Thai food! This food tastes straight out of Thailand and is expertly prepared. I kind of love that you can't choose proteins because they have perfected each dish. These are real cooks making real food with real passion. 5 stars all day

Yelp
No frills, street food perfect for a late night meal! Straightforward menu, simple to order, and fast service. I got their pad thai and ka pao, which were fresh and spicy. My favorite was actually their milky thai iced tea. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Friday dinner at 8:30 pm - fried rice, pad see ew flat noodles, pad Thai, and rad na thin (soup) noodles Service: street vendor with a couple of tables and chairs on the sidewalk, self-served Ambiance: relaxed and casual, very great street food experience Price: very limited food selection, $10 regardless of the dish Food quality: all dishes tasted a little bit sweet but acceptable. White pepper and fish sauce were available on each table. Loved the white pepper's kick with the food, very special and increased the flavor to the next level Highly recommended, will definitely come back

Yelp
This place truly did not disappoint!! I first saw it on tik tok and it really lived up to my expectations. There was a short line when I arrived but the wait was not too long. I ordered Pad See Ew with flat noodles and Rad Na with thin noodles. The menu is very small with only a few items including Pad See Ew, Rad Na, Pad Thai, Fried Rice, and Noodle Soup, and they were all $10 each. The food came in plastic bowls to go like bowls and we ate at one of the tables set up next to the stand. They had condiments like fish sauce, sugar, and chili oil. Overall the experience was great and so was the food!
