The Boring Show

Google
Such a fun experience for my boyfriend’s birthday. The waitress was a delight and the food was fantastic. First the most fresh and best Caesar salad in KC!! I ordered the shrimp linguine and he had the lasagna and our plates were empty at the end delicious! Can’t go wrong with the focaccia too! The cheesecake was amazing and is made in house, must get! The owner is also such a sweet woman! Best place for your Italian fix!

Google
Our dinner was fantastic! Addie was our server and she was simply marvelous, beat us to the punch on everything we needed! The hostess was awaiting us when we arrived it seemed, which was also lovely! Food was very timely and the service from all around staff was great considering it seemed to be a busier evening! (A little loud for a smaller dining room) We will absolutly be coming back again!

Google
The food was... Oh My Gawd delicious! The portions were huge, so bring a cooler in your car if you're not going straight home. I had the pork chop with au gratin potatoes and broccolini and a side ceasar salad. Everything was perfectly prepared and our server was exceptional. I was a bit loud, but otherwise a great atmosphere.

Google
I recently asked for recommendations on the best pork chop in Kansas City, and this spot came highly recommended—and it absolutely did not disappoint! From the moment we sat down, the experience was incredible. We started with two appetizers,Arancini and eggplant fries. which were delicious and generously portioned. But the star of the show was the pork chop. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor—it exceeded all expectations. The portions were so large that despite sharing everything, we couldn’t even finish our meal. If you’re looking for great food, excellent value, and a memorable dining experience, this place is a must-visit! Bonus points for Gender neutral bathrooms

Google
The Chicken Picatta is the BEST that I've **ever** tasted!! I also recommend their Ragazza Spritzer (lemoncello, sparkling wine...) with a little simple syrup added -- tasty & refreshing!! Great service (always) & can't wait to come back!

Google
Ragazza Food & Wine in Kansas City is a bit of a hidden gem. The first thing you'll notice is the lack of parking, which can be a bit of a challenge. After circling the block a few times, I finally snagged a spot and headed inside. The restaurant itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a trendy, upscale vibe that still manages to feel casual and cozy. I was seated quickly despite the dinner rush, and my server was friendly and attentive. I opted for the Carbonara, and it was absolutely delicious! The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was rich and flavorful, with fresh mushrooms and peas. To top it off, I indulged in the Budino for dessert. This rich, dark chocolate pudding with a hint of sea salt was simply divine! Despite the parking woes, Ragazza Food & Wine is a fantastic dining experience. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the atmosphere is perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion.

Google
Ragazza is fantastic! Great date night spot that I would consider romantic. While we waited for our table, we sat and the bar and enjoyed some good cocktails and I like their tap selection (nice to see something from Vine Street on tap! Don’t see that often). Also had some very good wine with dinner. The arancini is decent. Love the fry/crunch on it, but I wish it was creamier on the inside. The sausage and artichoke soup had great flavor! The corn chowder was alright, a bit more like corn soup by texture, in my opinion. I very much enjoyed the carbonara! Overall I was impressed with the food and menu options and would love to return to try more. I LOVED the decor and atmosphere. Also very much appreciate our server who was very friendly and helpful.

Google
Nice surprise... For starter we had the Eggplant Fries and the Meatball Grande.. Both of them really good. For main dish we had the Lasagna, a pasta Carbonara (both of them delicious) and a 6hr Sauce pasta (or something with that name) that was really awful.... Greasy with no flavor.

Yelp
4 1/2. Used to enjoy Ragazza's Westport Road location, but for no good reason had lapsed visiting them on Main. I'm glad to be reacquainted. Everything was really good. My wife, a tremendous cook, especially w Italian dishes, compared their Chicken Piccata favorably and paid close attention for subtleties she could incorporate. Modest, but well curated wine list, impressive cocktails, and house made Limoncello, which was absent the cloying sweetness of average concoctions. Very nice meal. Nary a complaint.

Yelp
Wow ! Some of the best Italian !!! Appetizers we got stuffed mushrooms and burrata 10/10. Also got the caprese it was good too. Expresso martinis 10/10 Pasta we all something different and our favorite was the chicken piccata . 12/10. Dessert we got the cheesecake and pistachio cannoli. Cheesecake was velvety and 10/10 but the pistachio cannolis were a fail. You get two tiny cannolis and they were just not good. Service was great!

Yelp
3.9 This time the service was good enough, food good to great, with a few minor mistakes. We'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Five of us went to Ragazza for dinner on the recommendations of quite a few friends. I really do not know what the fuss is all about. This is just an average place. The interior is pretty plain. Nothing fancy. Food is merely average. We had a $35 bottle of red wine on the recommendation of our server. It tasted like ordinary table wine. It did not warrant the price of the bottle. It was just average. I ordered a roasted beet salad to start. It was okay but not spectacular. The lemon dressing was good. My entree was the Bucatini All'Amatriciana. I think this is their version of arrabiata. It's a little spicy with red pepper flakes. I also ordered sausage with it. Again, it was okay. Nothing amazing. The pasta did not seem to be homemade and the sausage was unremarkable. I'd try a different entree next time. My friend had lasagna. It came in a mini skillet which was hard to eat without spilling some. He said the noodles were very cold in the middle. The other entrees were also average with nothing reaching "amazing" status. Like I said, I don't get the hype!

Yelp
A wonderful & historic building that feels like an old Italian family restaurant. The food was absolutely some of the best I've had (besides in Italy). Excellent service, Excellent friendly people and very reasonably priced. You owe it to yourself to visit Ragazza. Order the Lasagna Bolognese- you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
What a great find. The staff was friendly welcoming. Delicious food and the dessert was sinfully good. Coworker had the in house made limoncello was outstanding.

Yelp
I tried this on whim after hearing from a friend of a friend that it was good. Personally I wasn't a fan. The ambiance inside is very nice and feels upscale, which I can only assume is factored into the price. Definitely don't expect anything on the menu to be cheap here. The service was also great, my server recommended a couple of dishes and was very attentive when refilling drinks and making sure my needs were met. When it comes to the food I was underwhelmed. I ordered the Bucatini All'Amatriciana and was not impressed. The noodles were much thicker and more dense than I cared for and the sauce itself was too watery. The crushed red pepper that was used also added a strange bit of crunch in every few bites. I also tried the Sunday Sauce Everyday which was a strange combination of meats that all seemed to be cooked with different levels of care. The meatball was by far the best in the dish. The pork and sausage were much less appetizing and didn't have near the amount of flavor. Last, my friend who joined me tried the Traditional Caesar Salad and was a bit lost. The inclusion of anchovies may be a classic Italian recipe but it's definitely not traditional to us. It made for a strange and unappetizing starter to our meal. Overall, both my stomach and my wallet felt unsatisfied after eating here.

Yelp
Our reservation was for 8pm. We arrived 25 min early due to parking and also maybe grabbing a cocktail at the Bar. So, we did get a cocktail. We then were told our seats at the Bar were reserved (We didn't know this) it was our first time here and the wonderful bartender said we could still order drinks through him, which we did. I got the Ragazza Streetcar and my love chose an Old Fashioned, both were very well made. We then waited off to the side of the aisle ( not alot of space to stand around) and thankfully when we were ready to be seated the hostess stated that there was a cancelation on a 4 seat table that we were being seated at. Perfect, I always appreciate the extra space. I then noticed 3 place settings were being removed leaving 1 for our table. Not a big deal but i knew i'd be asking for a setting eventually as indeed it was forgotten once appetizers were ordered and served. We ordered the 9 oz Meatball and Caprese salad, both full of flavor and just perfect to start and yes, we shared. We contined with a bottle of wine ( It was excellent) to go with dinner which for me was the Carbonara and the Shrimp Linguini respectively. Perfect choices, right amount of spice for mine and great, just right portion size. The flavors and presentation were divine. We usually never order dessert and this time we did. The Cherry cobbler and Tiramisu were superb. My only not really complaint but disappointment was having to ask for silverware and also noticing that although good, our waitress was not too friendly. I understand being busy but simple formalities and engagement only take a moment. All in all I look forward to returning.

Yelp
Came here after an evidentiary hearing with our trial team and some experts. Vibes were cozy and lovely. The food was about what I'd expect, and overall good experience of pasta and red wine.

Ken D.

Yelp
The chicken piccata was out of this world good. I order this dish often in Italian restaurants and this dish is extremely well prepared. Delicious. It was priced at $26 which seems maybe a touch expensive, but I will order it again ! The eggplant parmigiana was out of this world good also. My wife orders this quite often in Italian restaurants and she said it was amazing. Lastly, we had a beet salad. Don't miss this one. It may not sound appealing, but it is delicious. There were only two things that I did not like. 1. The small parking area was full and we had to park on the street about a block away. It was no big deal, but I am accustom to restaurants with adequate parking lots. 2. The noise level in the restaurant made it difficult to visit with our friends. I few sound canceling acoustic panels mounted on the walls would inexpensively absorb this excess.

Yelp
How have I never been here? This place is fun, has a great story and the food was outstanding. Scott our waiter was maybe the best waiter I've ever had. Fun, lively, likable and shared stories about the place and their food that make you want to keep coming back. We had the mushrooms as an appetizer which they get from a farm in Leavenworth. Two had cheese and sausage and one stuffed with cheese surrounded by sauce. The Sunday sauce with all the meats was incredible. Definitely want to try Sunday Brunch.
google avatar

Cassandra P.

Yelp
Sunday Service was great despite being busy. I ordered a couple appetizers and the mushrooms lasagna. The lasagna arancini were delicious. However the bread was super hard, so I used my arancini to dip in the cheese and sauce. Would definitely come back again

Yelp
This place has been on my list to try for the absolute longest time and I cannot believe it's taken me this long to finally eat here and review this restaurant. Now, with construction - it might be a little bit of a headache to get here and parking is sort of limited in the lot but there is plenty of street parking. I made a reservation for 2 on a Wednesday night and i'm very glad I did. The restaurant is fairly small and can only sit a limited amount of people so make sure to set a reservation - even on a week day. I was seated promptly and service was pretty quick. I started off with an espresso martini and this is not for the weak! This is one of the more stronger espresso martinis i've had in a very very long time and i see nothing wrong with this but if you have a pretty high sensitivity to alcohol - i'd probably avoid this drink. I have a pretty good tolerance to strong tasting alcohol and even I had to make a face while sipping on this. I judge all Italian restaurants on their Arancini because although it's a very simply dish, it's easy to over complicate it and get it wrong because it's so "simple". The Arancini was nice and hot and nothing out of this world however, the sauce is what makes this dish. Typical arancini dishes have a sweet, basic sauce while this sauce had a slight kick to it- and it made all the difference. My partner and I split the Sunday Sauce Everyday pasta and the restaurant was very accommodating to this. They split the pasta dish in the back and I still received a very good portion. The meatball tasted great, the pork was super tender but the Scimeca's sausage was extraordinary. I honestly wouldn't mind if the sauce only had that sausage because it is packed with lots of flavor. For our sides we ordered Rosemary potatoes, which were fantastic and seasoned perfectly and some broccolini - flavor in every bite. You won't break the bank by coming here, and you're in for a very nice dinner if you come here. I typically get asked what the best italian restaurant in KC is and Ragazza definitely makes the list of top 5. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something more family style, it's a much more intimate setting. If you want an elevated dining experience, come here! Will definitely be back soon!
google avatar

Caitlin A.

Yelp
Authentic Italian food at Ragazza. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer, wedge salad, broccolini and carbonara pasta. Everything was delicious and made fresh. Highly recommend Ragazza!
google avatar

Karen B.

Yelp
Amazing Italian restaurant down the road from where we were staying. Of course we always try to find Italian food since we love it so much. Wonderful environment, cutely decorated with that Italian vibe. The staff was so friendly and food delicious. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese and he had the Sunday Sauce Everyday. Both were phenomenal. I'll definitely go back if I am back in Kansas City!
google avatar

Rachael G.

Yelp
I have been here countless times and have never had a bad meal or bad service. Ragazza is a great date night or group get together spot. I would recommend having a reservation. Even on weekdays it can get busy. Now on to the food and drink. If you are a limoncello fan, you need to try their house made limoncello. I have ordered each on of their limoncello cocktails and the limoncello martini is my current favorite. Their roasted goat cheese appetizer is so simple but so delicious. I consistently order the bucatini all'amatriciana and it is fantastic every time with the perfect kick of spiciness. Overall, this is a top 3 KC Italian restaurant for me.
google avatar

Whitney H.

Yelp
One of the best Italian spots in KC! We sat at the bar and received great service - bar is super cute too. We ordered the burrata for our appetizer (5 stars), spaghetti & meatballs, and the chicken piccata - all of the food was great and we will definitely go back.
google avatar

Jason G.

Yelp
We came here specifically for their vinyl brunch. the DJ did not disappoint, he played some great dining music. all on vinyl of course. we had a delicious meal for both meat eaters and vegetarians alike, for a brunch menu they had a good selection to choose from. I had the steak and eggs, the steak was super tender. The service was excellent, our server was sure to attend to us and made us feel welcome from when we sat down until we left.
google avatar

Mandie B.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go and just sit up at the bar and chat with the people around me. I frequent Ragazza quite often and am on a first name basis with kith of the hosts and bartenders. They're such a friendly and welcoming staff, I just love it. They're such have a KILLER happy hour menu which go back for time and time again. Get the eggplant fries, the burrata and the stuffed mushrooms. They have cocktails, beer and wine all in special as well. Every Tuesday night is steak night. You get a huge steak and two sides for $25. The chicken piccata is unmatched. You can't make a wrong decision as far as what you pick here. It's all divine.
google avatar

Fred J.

Yelp
Ambiance was great as was service. Others in my party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My order of Cacio y Pepe had overcooked pasta and was quite goopy. I would go back to try other menu choices.
google avatar

Grace R.

Yelp
3.5/5 stars Loved the ambiance. Great for special occasions or date night. Cocktails and appetizer was great. Enjoyed the burrata and Roman spritz. Caccio E Pepe was on the peppery side for me, and service was okay for a busy Saturday. I also ordered gluten-free pasta, so take that with a grain of salt. Will definitely be back to try more entrees!

Yelp
Omgoodness! My husband Bill and I were heading back home after a long day at KUMed. We were getting peckish and decided to drive around and find a new place to eat since neither one of us felt like fixing anything at home. So, we happened upon a place called Ragazza Wine and Cocktails. Its a neighborhood homestyle Italian restaurant and wine bar at 43rd & Main. The entire dinner experience was amazing from our server, Elizabeth, to the check! We enjoyed what felt like a 5 star experience, on an $$ Yelp price rating. The food... I just cannot say enough about the food! The server said everything is made from scratch, except the pasta; and it is made fresh locally. We ordered 3 appetizers: Homemade Ragazza Meatballs with Red Sauce & Grilled Focaccia $5, the Arancini - Mozzarella stuffed with roasted red pepper sauce $7, and Grilled Steak and Mushroom Spiedini with Arugula and parmesan $7. We were in heaven. Then for our entrées... I ordered the SUNDAY SAUCE EVERYDAY It's a 6-Hour homemade red sauce dish, with melt in your mouth roast Pork that was pan seared in olive oil and then simmered in the sauce all 6 hours; add to that Scimeca's Sausage, housemade Meatballs, & Rigatoni for only $26... we'd have paid double! Bill ordered the RIGATONI BOLOGNESE with Italian Sausage, Beef, Soffritto, Red Sauce & of course Rigatoni for only $18. To finish of the meal, we shared a dessert (which we never do) - we had the BUDINO GF* - A rich, dense dark chocolate pudding (which I'd describe the consistency more like a soft fudge or a cheesecake); then they garnish it with flaked sea salt $8... that was the most decadent and silky dessert I've ever tasted! We are definitely going back as soon as possible. The next day, Bill, out of the blue, said hey, did you enjoy our meal last night as much as I did? Or were we just hungry? I was like, NO, we weren't just hungry.... THAT WAS THE BEST ITALIAN MEAL OUT I THINK WE'VE EVER HAD! He quickly agreed. So, if you're out and want a reasonably priced, stellar Italian meal, jet over to Ragazza at 43rd & Main. Reservations are recommended. We just happened in there at the right time and before the rush! Bon Appetito!

Haley D.

Yelp
We love coming back here and are never disappointed. Scott is the best server- ever! He truly makes the experience so welcoming and is so kind! The food is always amazing. We love the goat cheese, sunday sauce and chicken picatta to name a few.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday night last-minute thing party of four. Was told it was best to make reservations, but hostess was very nice. Set us up a small area just by the bar and later moved us to a larger table. The food was good. Will have to make a second visit in order to give more details on food and menu.
google avatar

Beth G.

Yelp
Was there for happy hour as a light supper. The meatballs were lovely but would have liked a second piece of bread. The steak spedini was delicious. It was a busy location. Suggest a reservation as the space is small and it's a popular place!
google avatar

Tara S.

Yelp
We tried Ragazza with high hopes. The arancini was very good--crispy, flavorful, and a great start. But the rest of the meal didn't hold up. The pesto pasta was just okay and felt overpriced for the small portion. The eggplant Parmesan was the biggest letdown--undercooked in the middle and hard to enjoy, though we ate it because we were hungry. The interior of the place was very cute though. And the service was fine.
google avatar

JoAnn R.

Yelp
Came here again finally after a year and on Mothers Day. Again it was great and didn't remember what we ordered the last time so we selected almost the same things. Took pics this time. Got the Caprese Salad and it was super tasty and super fresh and also the meatballs again as an appetizer and it was delicious, I said the same thing too.."I'm going to get something with the red sauce next time because I could drink it." Maybe next time I'll remember to do that. My husband did though and so did my daughters with the Rigatoni Sausage Links, Lasagne, and Spaghetti Meatballs. We had no leftovers, perfect portion sizes and so tasty there was none left to keep over. Highly recommend this place the service is top notch as well.
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
The food was very yummy. I had the penne bolognese and hubby had the lasagna. We also had some happy hour appetizers. Service was great as well. Very cute and cozy restaurant.
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
Has become my favorite Italian restaurant in KC. The bolognese is spot on. Prices are reasonable. But here's the surprise: go for the pork chop. Marinated and lightly crusted, it's the fatest, most delicious cut I've ever tasted; stunning.
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Great happy hour deals and the red wine was delish! Service was fine and ambience was bar like during happy hour. Perfect for a Friday.

Mark T.

Yelp
Great food, best Italian I have had in the the KC metro. Ambiance is vibrant and the wine list is solid. Very reasonable in terms of value for your money too. Definitely going to go back and try some other things on the menu. Service was formal and efficient if a bit lacking in the niceties.
google avatar

Kevin H.

Yelp
It was just ok, and I mean the whole experience. The waiter in the back needs a lot of work. He made us feel like he was rushing us. The food (Carbonara) was just ok, I thought it was better at Cheesecake Factory although not authentic.
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
Amazing food and usually excellent service although sometimes it gets slammed and it's a lot slower. But you know the food you're getting is fresh. Love the eggplant fries
google avatar

Raven S.

Yelp
Looking for a date night in a place that is cozy, intimate, and warm? Look no further than Ragazza! We walked in for our dinner reservation, which I would' recommend as they are pretty busy, and were greeted by a very nice team and the vibrant chatter of others enjoying their meals. We had drinks at the bar before dinner, I had the limondrop martini and I knew once I saw the bartender slap the mint and put it in my drink that I was going to love it! It was so light and refreshing. For dinner we started with the Arancini (4/5) and we loved the sauce it came with. I then had the ceasar salad with the marinated anchovies (4/5) and began to get even more excited about my entree! I ordered the KC strip (which I know sounds odd), but it was delicious! The butter, the broccolini, and the cook on the steak were great. The real standout from my meal was the rosemary potatoes. 10 out of 10. I have got to find a way to replicate them at home. They are a MUST order. Also, our server was incredibly nice and he even showed us a picture of his dog. Dinner and pictures of a cute pup? Sign me up every time! We will definitely be back to try more.
google avatar

Mandy L.

Yelp
Ragazza is one of our favorite local restaurants. Amazing staff, always fostering an inclusive and loving environment. Food is consistently delicious, hearty, and fresh. Highly recommend stopping by for a snack during happy hour or any occasion.
google avatar

Kimberly A.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Italian places in KC! It's locally owned, the service and food is top-notch and an adorable place to be. There isn't a bad thing on the menu and they have a great wine list. I highly recommend giving it a try and enjoying a great night out. I will certainly be back!

Richard C.

Yelp
Has been a staple for us for quite some time. Has been a really good happy hour. Visited on 6 June for Happy Hour and things just werent quite uo to par. The service was excellent but the food portions were just shaved down a bit. The drinks were served with crushed ice and not as accommodating; we wanted to order the hummus but wanted carrots instead of wheat based bread aand all they "had" were cucumbers.....really? Will still be a fan but they seem to be chipping away at the value.
google avatar

MaKenzie K.

Yelp
My very favorite restaurant in Kansas City. Every single thing at this place is next level delicious. The chicken piccata is my absolute favorite but their Sunday sauce pasta and pork chop is also great. Every time I've gone the service has been amazing. Always lively on the weekends and great atmosphere.
google avatar

Brent K.

Yelp
Best Happy hour in town, small cozy and friendly staff. This is my go to for all day Sunday happy hour and the eggplant fries are to die for. I also love the Roman spritzer! Sit at the bar or reserve a table, it doesn't get any better than this in Kansas City, and I tell everyone I pick up at the airport from out of town, it beats all those overpriced plaza restaurants by a long mile. Theres enough on the happy hour menu to make a meal for multiple tables, make sure to try the white bean dip too. Lemoncello shots made in house and a delectible ameretti cookie for dessert! Yes Please! They do tend to fill up fast so get a reservation if you can and don't be surprised if its the only place you eat on your visit! 10 stars way up!

Kenn K.

Yelp
The host was very nice and amazing I had a reservation at 8:30. Got there a little earlier and was still sat immediately. Appetizers: For an appetizer we got the eggplant fries. I will say I got them based on reviews. They weren't my fave thing but it came with a delicious creamy sauce that I loved. Entrees: For my entre I got the carbonara. If you like carbonara you will love there's too. It was lighter and very good. Wine: I got a moscato for my chose of wine. If you love wine that's on the sweet side this would definitely be for you! It wasn't overly bubbly at all either. Definitely would get it again.
google avatar

Marissa S.

Yelp
Another great night at Ragazza thanks to the excellent service and cozy ambiance. Definitely recommend spending a happy hour here, decent deals and delicious food. Shelly at the host stand was awesome!
google avatar

Eleanor B.

Yelp
Honestly. This place was one of the best Italian restaurants I have found in KC. Appetizers are not shown, but could not recommend the meatball and bread with a sauce more. I got the chicken piccata and it was DELICIOUS! The chicken was cooked wonderfully and the flavors were impeccable. I will be going back here on the regular, because again, nothing like this in KC and a major must go to!
google avatar

Ali C.

Yelp
Took some of my conference speakers for dinner, and the host was fabulous to squeeze us in on a Friday night for a table versus having to sit at the bar. All of the staff was super friendly. The wine choices are amazing and decently priced. We got the eggplant fries to start and they were so tasty! I had the spaghetti Cacio e pepe and added chicken breast, one of the other folks had the lamb chop special, and our other diner had the shrimp linguine. We all enjoyed our meals. We finished with the lemoncello cake, which was just sweet enough and not too big we each were able to have a couple of bites. I am not local to this area, but if I was back in this area, I would eat here again. Enjoy!

Yelp
What a wonderful experience we had at Ragazza last night! It was my wife's birthday and she had been wanting Italian lately so I decided to try them out as we had never been. What a good decision! I made reservations earlier in the week, as it sounded like it got busy and I'm glad we did since the place was bustling when we arrived at 6:30pm on a Sunday. Usually a good sign! We were seated immediately and Scott our waiter came over within minutes. Scott is a gem, he's been there a long time it sounds like and had stories to tell! His customer service is impeccable, you can tell he really enjoys taking care of people. To start we got the Arancini, which is creamy fried risotto balls. Oh so good, perfect light batter with a spicy pepper sauce on the side. All four of us found it be a perfect warm up. We also ordered a half Caesar and half Italian wedge salad to share, which we found fresh and light. The tangy anchovy filet was a upscale touch for those who enjoy that type of thing, which I do! All the apps/salads came out quick. I ordered my wife the Ragazza Streetcar cocktail, which she said was very good. I had a sip and wished I still drank, lol. A great light summer drink which I will now have to try and replicate at home I asked if they had a San Pellegrino for my drink choice and Scott informed me that their in-house soda water was way better, and he was not wrong. Wow, add some lemon to it and it was so clean and just the right amount of fizz. Apparently its made with some sort of high end European carbonation machine. All I know is, man, bottle that stuff up and I'd buy it! For our entrees, I had the classic Sunday Sauce Everyday, one daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs, the other the Rigatoni Bolognese, and my wife the Orecchiette with sausage and kale. The Sunday Sauce was amazing, so delicate and simple, but rich at the same time. You could tell it had been simmering on a stove for the claimed 6hrs. The Rigatoni was not overly sauced, just enough to coat the pasta. Protein wise, you can't go wrong with anything that features KCs own Scimeca's sausage in it and the meatballs were like my mom used to make. Man, I had not enjoyed a true classic Italian dish like that for quite some time. I tried some of my wife's dish and it was tasty and she said she said she loved it as well. Both daughters enjoyed theirs and finished everything on their plate, which is rare. No to go boxes this time. For desert, we had shared a Almond cookie, tiramisu, Limoncello cake and a cannoli. All were excellently prepared, but we all agreed the Limoncello cake was our favorite. Scott brought out the tiramisu with a lit candle for my wife which was very thoughtful. You can tell how a place is doing by how the people eating react and the vibe at Ragazza was happy, talkative people enjoying food, drink, and life. In ending, Ragazza made the night special for my wife and us. Overall It is a classy, well run, caring establishment that values quality, people, and comfort with scratch made, authentic food served without pretention. 100% a win in my book.

Yelp
Excellent dinner experience. We recently dined at Ragazza and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Two couples with three off us for the first time. Like the ambience right when we walked in. The look and vibe of a neighborhood restaurant. A bit loud but everyone there appeared to be having fun. Our server did a good job ago sharing his preferences and steering us away from dishes that didn't meet the success levels of the restaurant favorites. He provided the right amount of attention, was nice and a good conversationalist. We had the Casio e pepe, chicken piccata and the carbonara. All were delicious. The person who had the carbonara said it was the best they had ever had. Salads were also good Portion were excellent for the price and just the right amount of food. Will be returning.

Yelp
Great location with access to a parking area or street parking. Attention is exceptional and service is fast. Even though menu is the typical Italian options you might find is most places their seasoning and touch is unique. We basically liked very much all our options and would recommend this well ambient place to anyone looking for a classy place to enjoy food and a good company.
