Chagee, One of China’s Fast-Growing Milk Tea Chains, Is Opening in LA | Eater LA

"The fast-food chicken-tender chain that acquired the iconic Norm’s restaurant on La Cienega Boulevard announced it would no longer pursue an expansion into the historic property after pushback from locals, reports KTLA. A few weeks earlier the Los Angeles Times reported the chain would take over the 1957-built Googie building immortalized by artist Ed Ruscha after Norms’ current lease expired in 2027. The chain said it would work with Norm’s to determine the future of the site." - Matthew Kang

This was my first time trying Cane's. I ordered a 3pc combo with extra cane's sauce. I received the extra sauce, but for some reason they gave me 3 extra tenders and no fries... if anyone tells you it's not worth trying, please believe them. I ignored the negative reviews and the feedback from people I know. The chicken is so bland. I've heard that the sauce is the best part, but for me it was the toast. I'll never know what the fries taste like because I won't be going back. I'm looking forward to trying Slim Chickens across the street, and the new Big Chicken's that's coming soon to the area, but I will be forever loyal to Chickfila. It never disappoints! I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I went at 12pm and the drive thru wasn't slow...it wasn't busy... probably because people realize it's not worth the hype.

I saw the construction of this site and I couldn’t wait to find out how the food tastes. I read the reviews about the lines for the food. I downloaded the App to order my food. The parking scene was insane! There were people parked in the Mobile Pick Up spots and went inside. I had to end up driving around twice and call to have my food brought outside. Now, onto the food. It was not what I expected. It is definitely not a place that I will be going out of my way to make a purchase. I ordered the Box Combo. The tenders were seasoned well, but not as large as I expected them to be. The crinkle fries were super small and thin. The coleslaw had the “store bought” taste. I was not impressed by the Texas Toast. Lastly, the sauce was not something I would eat with these tenders. I guess it would go well if it were the special sauce on a Chicken Sandwich, but as a dipping sauce…Nope. So, I do not see what the Talk is all about. Not for me. My daughter, who is 16yrs old, found it very underwhelming also. Now, we both can say that we gave it a try.

Above and beyond in customer service. Food is fresh, hot, seasoned with perfection and absolutely delicious. Dining room floors clean, tables clean, and minimal mess at the soda fountain ( always is no matter where you are, but was minor at least). The menu prices were comparable to other nearby restaurants. The portion sizes are very generous and larger than I expected. If you haven't been here you must try.

Just drove through this location at 10:00 pm (Saturday Night) and was served very quickly as no one was there. Was very disappointed to order a box combo (4 tenders) and come home to eat my food to have only been given (2 tenders). Completely unacceptable to pay $13 for 2 tenders. Hope they can do better moving forward because I will not be returning to this location.

Awesome staff, great food, and love the vibe. My kids always want Cane's after skating.

It was my first time trying the chicken sandwich and I was wowed!! Impressed and loved the taste, freshness of the bread and moist chicken fingers with lettuce and sauce, the sandwich was literally like a dream come true to me! I didn’t understand why my son loves Raising Cane’s and now I totally get it and don’t blame him at all!!! Olivia, the cashier, was very patient with me and very sweet and professional. I got my order within less than 1 minute and it was accurate, hot and pleasantly appealing. I live in Bel Air MD, and work at the hospital in Waldorf, drove to this restaurant after work cz I was hungry, and I’m totally going back to pick a meal for my family from that location next time I’m in the area! Thank you guys!

I went to the Grand Opening weekend in Crofton, MD, it was so much fun. I love the decor inside. One Love sign, Disc Balls, picture of Elvis Presley and beautiful light fixtures. I love the smell of a brand new store, so fresh and so clean. The staff was friendly and worked diligently to get the customers in and out. The chicken fingers were hot and crispy and who doesn’t love crispy, crinkle french fries. I loved the ketchup and signature dipping sauce. The outdoor service was great too. Aniyah was so friendly, sweet and courteous, asking my guest and I if I needed anything and if we needed refills. It was really a great experience. I will be back.

Seeing as how this is the closest Canes to me, this is the spot for a Caniac such as myself. Place is typically jumping and there's a wait sometimes, but the interior is pretty clean and the employees are respectful as they can be under stress. Recommended if you're looking to give canes a try or if you're a returning customer.
