Bobby Flay’s 27-year run on the Food Network may come to an end and more dining intel - Eater Vegas

"Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is a restaurant chain experiencing a lack of employees, leading corporate team members to volunteer at restaurants. A new 5,000-square-foot flagship location is opening on the Las Vegas Strip at the Showcase Mall in December, featuring a 55-foot LED screen and mezzanine." - Susan Stapleton

Multimillion-dollar Raising Cane’s to bring more fast-casual dining to the Las Vegas Strip - Eater Vegas

"Yet another multimillion dollar dining project is on its way to the Strip’s Showcase Mall, this time creating a two-story, flagship expansion for chicken finger kings Raising Cane’s. Revealed back in March, the latest paperwork confirms the 24-year-old chain will spend an estimated $185,300 to demolish two floors to the south of the mall’s food court. Facing New York-New York and allocating an estimated $1,550,000 to also overhaul the 3,883-square-foot space, the fast-casual restaurant will be roomy enough for a maximum occupancy of 111 inside. Soon to begin work on the makeover, but not expected to debut this year, Raising Cane’s joins a still-in-the works Olive Garden and an elaborate, rooftop micro-brewery from BrewDog, both located at the northern tip of the retail and entertainment hub and each working with their own seven figure construction budgets. Serving until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, Raising Cane’s operates 13 local locations, focused on a compact menu of chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Cane’s sauce, Texas toast, and coleslaw." - Bradley Martin

Google
As a first-timer from Canada, I was genuinely excited to finally try Raising Cane’s, and it did not disappoint! Cane’s easily takes the crown when it comes to chicken finger quality. The chicken was incredibly fresh, thick, and tender—perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. I also loved that they offer sandwich options for a bit of variety. The quality of ingredients really stands out, and everything tasted freshly made to order. This Las Vegas location was spotless, bright and modern, with two floors of seating and a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were kind, efficient, and friendly, which made the experience even better. If you’re visiting Vegas and haven’t tried Raising Cane’s before, this is 100% worth the stop. Top-tier fast food chicken—I’ll definitely be craving this when I’m back in Canada!

Google
Tried Raising Cane’s for the first time and it definitely lived up to the hype! The chicken tenders were crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The Cane’s Sauce? Absolutely addictive. On top of that, the service was fast and super friendly — a great overall experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Google
Hands down the best fast food I had in Vegas! Clean and Tasty!

Google
Great visit. Everything you expect from this chain. Located right on the strip. Location was busy but they were very organized and kept everything moving quickly. Chicken and fries were hot and delicious. We love the Canes sauce and the garlic toast.

Amanda

Google
Right on the strip. There is an upstairs eating area. Great food!

Google
Service was fast. I didn’t go during the rush time. The chicken and fries were nice and hot when I got them. And everyone was friendly!

Google
Stopped in for a late night meal after flying into Vegas. Same great taste and service. Had a crew member consistently roaming, cleaning the areas.

Google
Simply incredible. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a very friendly employee. He was very professional and uplifting. We spoke briefly about Chicago where I am living. The chicken is extremely tasty. Excellent experience.

Yelp
I've been meaning to try Raising Canes for a while so I was glad to see one near my hotel. For the strip, it's very reasonable prices. My meal was under $13. My chicken strips, fries and toast came out hot! 5 stars for the food. The restaurant was also really clean and the service was great!
google avatar

Yelp
Only reason I'm giving four stars and not five my fries wasn't crispy or well done as put in special notes. Otherwise, my chicken was crispy still warm and my Texas toast was flavorful. Service was quick because I ordered before getting there. Ambience Very busy and loud when talking to the cashier in the front I had to raise my voice a little bit so she could hear. Otherwise Raising Cane's, or the spot for crispy chicken tenders on the go chicken is not as flavorful so the sauces make up for it . One love

Yelp
Really good chicken!! We walked in and the member of their team was very nice and friendly. We ordered the Caniac combo and split it. 6th sera, fries, coleslaw, toast, and a large drink. Was really good. The cane's sauce is nice and I enjoyed the meal. We tried the unsweetened iced tea and thankfully there was a spot to refill drinks upstairs so we cut it with some sweet tea for like a half sweet tea which was so good. Reasonable prices and delicious food.

Yelp
Sadly did not live up to the hype. Some friends and I came to visit this Raising Canes location while visiting Vegas because we heard it was newly opened and was super big, with two floors. The location is quite nice for a fast food chicken shop -- it's decorated nicely and has lots of fun lights and lots of seating available. The tables aren't the cleanest though and it's not too much of an upgrade from your typical fast food stop. The service here is quick though and we didn't have to wait too long to order or to get our food. The food was very underwhelming imo. The texas toast didn't have any flavor and the fries were bland. The chicken was just ok -- I didn't find anything too special about it. Really liked the coleslaw though.

Yelp
Easily my favorite Raising Cane's location! - Dine in seating is on the 2nd floor, and has a nifty little elevator to take you up along with the regular staircase. - Chicken is delicious as always! Juicy, tender, and completely hits the spot! - Self service soda fountain + teas is on the second floor as well. Free refills for patrons that are dining in! There wasn't a long line at all when we went, when we left however there was a huge crowd. I guess we lucked out!

Yelp
My wife and I LOVE Cane's! This was a great location and perfect for a snack on a night out. Pros - convenient location next to MGM. Super friendly staff. Large and clean location with 2 floors. Food is always amazing at Canes. We always get the sandwich and caniac combo when we visit. Cons - parking can be rough but easy if you are a tourist staying on the strip Overall, one of my favorite places for delicious fried chicken!

Yelp
My coworkers told me I had to try Raising Cane when I visit Las Vegas. I've been to LV many times but I never heard of them. Let's say, they were completely right! The juiciest chicken fingers I've ever had! We shared the Caniac combo with six chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, Texas toast and coleslaw. The fries were perfectly fried. The coleslaw helped break up the deep fried overload. We ordered from the counter and food was ready pretty quickly. The second floor i the dining area and it was bright and clean. I also liked the large framed picture of Cane, the dog of the owner. The story is very touching, We ended up meeting a couple from Australia telling us how they heard about Raising Cane. Next time, we will try the sandwich which I heard was also a great option.

Yelp
Always hot and delicious here at Raising Cane's That chicken was so hot and tender and the sauce just compliments the chicken and french fries so well. Great customer service here and he definitely approved ( Thumbs up)

Yelp
Raising Cane literally saved me and my friend while in Vegas. It's literally next door to the MGM, and one two lazy nights, we ended up here. The chicken is just GOOD - fried well, and juicy! I thought I was going to struggle without a real sauce, but Raising Cane's tenders literally don't need any. I believe I missed to Yelp Elite event there, but I was pretty much sold on the food. The restaurant was also super clean, and the service was very quick!
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
Solid food and quick service. Quick walk from MGM. The best thing about this location is the prices are regular even though it's on the strip!

Yelp
Super cute and unique location on the strip! I eat at Canes all the time back home but only wanted to visit this location because of how cute and unique it is to Vegas. We stopped by around 11pm on Saturday after catching a show at the Luxor and it was not busy. We were quickly helped out and the workers were friendly. We shared a 6 piece combo and opted for no coleslaw but added extra fries. We waited about 5 minutes for our food to be ready and we headed upstairs. The décor upstairs is sooo cute. All the wall art and pictures are neat. I love the dog bowls that align the wall heading up the stairs. The upstairs area was clean as there was somebody there cleaning and sweeping and it was fairly empty. We dug in and as I was about to grab my 2nd tender I noticed that it was black and it did not look good. My sister took it down to show the cashier and to ask if we could get a different tender. The manager was called and she apologized. She then explained to her that it was a blood clot and it was normal for some pieces to have it. She was nice and gave us two tenders for the inconvenience. A few minutes later, my sister came back up and we finished eating. The manager once again found us and checked up on us. Security was roaming around both floors so we felt safe. As we finished, we headed back down where it was now super busy. The line was out the door... Good food and clean establishment!

Yelp
I was super disappointed because the hours are NOT accurate as they are online. We went to this canes all the way out of our path home just to find out they are closed. however, online it says they are open and i'm so upset because i'm so hungry and they were the only good place in the vicinity open. i feel bad for our uber because he went out of his way to take us there. this is so not right. do not come to this canes. this picture is a screenshot of 3 something in the morning and it says they are not closed yet but we went like 10 min ago and they are. horrible! we called and they said they were open but we went and they said they were closed. update ur hours and don't lie! horrible service i'm disgusted.

David C.

Yelp
Las Vegas was great but Raising Canes offers great chicken at a reasonable price. Hard to find prices like this in Vegas. Sauce is very good. Wish we had one of these back home.
google avatar

Mark W.

Yelp
This was good, not the greatest fast food experience ever, but very solid, and the service was quick and accurate. Tons of respect to the crew who works there, who are swamped with people and deal with it great. 5 stars for them. Canes sauce is excellent, the chicken was good but not super, same for the fries. I really liked the Texas Toast and the cole slaw was a little above average. For the strip, a very high rating.
google avatar

Joshua C.

Yelp
Wow! I'm so glad Raising Canes as finally come to the strip. I no longer have to pay for an uber to get some of the best tenders around. This location is two stories, and has a beautiful view of the strip on the second floor. Also the decor is "so Vegas" but in the best way. So many cool photo ops, and disco balls everywhere. Staff were friendly, and checked on us while we were eating. Free refills on soda and tea, but got extra for lemonade. Must stop for any Vegas trip if looking for cheap eats.
google avatar

Anthony M.

Yelp
Had to try Raising Cane's for the first time. Great spot. Was in Vegas and ran across the street after finding this place on Yelp. Would definitely get this again. The Texas toast and Cane sauce are a cool unique add-on.

Yelp
This was my first time having RC's so I wasn't sure what the expect. I've not seen a location in NJ All in all I thought the food was good. The chicken was Juicy but the fries were not anything special. The Upstairs dining area is really nice, spacious and clean and gives you a great view of the strip. I also like how there's both an elevator and stairs to take you to the second floor. If you don't want to go upstairs then they had a few seating area on the main floor as well- barstools
google avatar

Leydiana S.

Yelp
Good stop for something quick to eat. Tenders were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The bread was nice and buttery. Fries were also good. Service was quick. Only waited about 5 minutes. Check out the upstairs for some photo ops.
google avatar

Bee K.

Yelp
Okay! Food is always good here and plus they're open hella late. But the person who helped us Jasmine finney was her name. We had just came from beyonce concert, starving and probably had one to many drinks. She didn't judge us or laugh as we pulled ourselves together to order. She cleaned the counter while we figured it out. We ate upstairs and she came and checked on us while we ate and laughed! Bathrooms were very clean
google avatar

Rebekah H.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch with my husband while walking the strip. It's a very small location with seating upstairs. They do have a lift for wheelchairs and strollers, but the seating upstairs is still quite small and you'll have to get lucky if you want a good table. But the food was good and up to Canes quality. Service was very good as well, friendly staff and was fairly quick. It's a good place if you want something quick. But if you're driving from somewhere to go to this location, you'll have to park at a casino as there is no parking.

La Shone M.

Yelp
Frontline appearance everyone on the frontline except one young lady looked very unkept one young lady bagging the food had chipped nail polish and she kept tugging on her not so clean attire with bare hands ,then touching the trays of food coming out for the customers but food was good
google avatar

Katherine P.

Yelp
Convenient location on the strip next to MGM Grand. Restaurant is clean and seating is on the 2nd floor. I haven't eaten at Raising Canes in awhile so not sure if the Texas toast shrunk recently but I truly don't remember it being so small. Chicken and fries are always cooked fresh. Nice and hot and crispy.
google avatar

Marcus M.

Yelp
Sometimes late at night in Las Vegas you need something good to eat. We walked over to this place from Planet Hollywood and it was worth the walk in 1am. The cashier was very friendly. He liked to joke around. Amazingly, we weee able to get our food right away. As usual, the chicken strips were very light and tender. Of course the seasoning was there. The raising Canes sauce is always a hit. There are tables upstairs. You can take the stairs or the elevator, there is a lot of space there Overall, if you are in the Vegas strip and want something quick and good, this is your place. You just need to ignore the jerks who are a bit drunk and are loud.

Yelp
I've been to many canes location. First time in Las Vegas and the staff was amazing. The food was on point and the decor was great?

Yelp
A great place to get really good chicken tenders. The fries and Texas toast puts the whole meal together. Finally the canes sauce is great

Yelp
First time trying Canes and Las Vegas. It was a cold day in November and we needed to first get some grub and also warm up. We'd been wanting to try out Raising Canes and I'm so glad I got introduced to canes at this very spot. To start off, all the colorful signs in the front is so Vegas and I loved it. They drew me in. There was no line luckily, so I chose the 3 finger combo, it comes with fries, their famous bread and a soda. The cool thing about this resturant is that there's a second floor!! You pay on the bottom floor, pick up your order and then eat on the second floor. They have an elevator and stairs. The soda machines and sauces are also on the second floor. The workers were so attentive. The ambiance was amazing, the food was fresh, the location...cmon it was awesome. We sat next to the window so we could see The Strip. I wish I could teleport back.

Jackie A.

Yelp
Chicken were very juicy.. next to MGM Grand, add sweet tea and you're set. Wish we have this in N Cali

Yelp
JORDAN IS THE BEST!!!! superb customer service and was blessed enough to encounter an employee like him! I think that raising canes is genuinely so lucky to have a worker like him because he made our experience a 10/10. Supplied us with an efficient amount of sauces and was so generous, will visit again soon!

Yelp
Great service, quick food delivery, clean restaurant, great food. Canes always delivers!

Yelp
This has got to be the worst service ever. It's probably not the fault of the people here but the issue is with GrubHub and the driver that picked up the food. I get that it's the holiday and things can get busy, but if you CHOOSE to pick up an order and are fairly tipped prior to even showing up, then finish your DAM JOB. We were waiting on a party tray of 50 pieces of Canes amazing chicken strip for our holiday party and the driver for GrubHub (Ivan) not only took our food but gave us 5 mins to come downstairs and grab the food. We were down in 3 mins and this guy took off with our food and told us he could not wait any longer. Such an idiotic move, maybe he needed to bring something to his party and said let's just take someone else's order and money. Way to ruin a party for 35 employees. We ended up going with an alternative but BWW just doesn't hit this same and the wings were mediocre. Posted here is all the evidence you'll need to avoid GrubHub and driver, Ivan. I hope you got pulled over and the cops took the stolen goods and gave you a fat ticket for being an inconsiderate dbag! Couldn't wait an extra minute.

Yelp
Date of visit: 8/21/22 We've long wondered why our favorite fast food joint hasn't had a location on the Vegas Strip despite having a number of outlets in the area. Glad to see they found a solid spot next to MGM Grand to educate the uninformed about the goodness of RC! The cashier was not too enthusiastic about taking our order, but the staff exporting the food and upstairs in the seating area were much better and kept things moving. The food was good as always, though for the first time, despite having some RC in five states, we had a piece with some gristle in it. Inflation? Poor quality control? Hopefully it's just a one-off situation that we won't see the next time we hit the Strip.
google avatar

Jon N.

Yelp
Another, very generous, 3 * review for Raising Cane's. I cannot, for the ljife of me, understand the hysteria. So mediocre. Tried new store in Burbank because I live there, and I could. So underwhelmed. Tried here, and hoped it would be better, but it's the same. Maybe better service (really nice here), but it's the same, mediocre product. I'm so over tge hype. Popeyes Chicken is WAY better. They weren't open, but Imna pass on Raising Cane's in the future.
google avatar

Yelp
Most reasonably priced meal I ate in Vegas. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. Definitely eat away from the casinos, you'll be glad you did.

Yelp
First time trying Raising Canes and it was amazing! I will definitely be back for more. The chicken was so so good and so was the Texas toast. Also loved Canes sauce. The decor was cool and the server was really nice.

Heavenly D.

Yelp
Ill give it 2 stars, only because I just finished eating the food and can't provide photos. The chicken was soggy and tasted off. The service was quick at least. I also understand that depending on how long you have been working there you are bound to hate customers but I went to Raising Cane's in Texas and the service is above and beyond and wipes the floor with this location.
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
First time trying this place. Chicken strips were hot, juicy, tender, and the breading was great. Big size chicken strips, they had a nice flavor. They have their own dipping sauce or honey mustard. Ketchup is available. Fries are ok I would ask for them to be cooked longer. Upstairs eating, nice decor and view of strip.
google avatar

Theodora G.

Yelp
First of all food is incredible, service is phenomenal. The workers seem to enjoy what they do so the atmosphere is perfection. My fiancé and I are obsessed

Ashley J.

Yelp
I had asked for no coleslaw and extra toast instead. However they forgot or weren't pay attention.
google avatar

Deborah S.

Yelp
Service was great. The restaurant was clean (except restroom) The bread 9/10 Lemonade 8/10 Tea (both sweetened and unsweetened) 8/10 Chicken fingers 7/10 (quality was good just needed a bit more spice for us) Sauce 7/10 Fries 6/10 Coleslaw 5/10
google avatar

Harriet C.

Yelp
This place is small downstairs but has an elevator to go upstairs. Decent seating area upstairs. Places are clean. Service is fast. The chicken tender is juicy inside and crispy outside. French fries is okay.

G R.

Yelp
I heard about this place for a while now and I didn't think it would be that good. I was wrong. It's really good and so much better than Zaxby's. The chicken is so crispy and juicy, it's silly! The DC is really good too!
google avatar

Ven R.

Yelp
Customer service was nice. Cash register girl was nice. Ordered 3 of same meal to make it easy. Nice atmosphere. My son loved the sammich. Sandwich the chicken delicious, tender, juicy. Yum.
google avatar

Isabella H.

Yelp
I waited in line for over 30mins for my food, only to open my bag and have barely any fries and the fries I was given were the end of the batch quarter pieces of fries. I was so disappointed with my visit here.

Gerry D.

Yelp
We stopped into Raising Cane's on the Las Vegas Strip, near the MGM Grand. It was our first time at this chain. You place your order downstairs. We asked the cashier for some suggestions since we hadn't been here before and he was helpful in guiding us. We ordered the Box Combo. We were given our drinks and went upstairs. It was like walking into an Elvis museum. Really cool and disco balls, too! The food was good. We liked the chicken fingers, the texas toast and cole slaw. The crinkle fries were ok. The Cane sauce wasn't anything special. If you like traditional sweet tea, this is a great place to get it (you can also get unsweetened). Overall pretty good and if you aren't too hungry, you can share a box.

Ashlie S.

Yelp
This is a review for Jean! I visited here on June 15 and 16 and she provided excellent customer service! I was traveling from California, and she definitely improved my eating experience! This setting is fantastic! They were handing out free sweet tea samples, plus they also had a mini-event where you could play hockey and win a free box combo if you scored all three goals! This site is fantastic in every way! I will definitely be coming back on my next trip! Thank you to the staff at the hockey mini game + jean you all gave me an amazing eating experience I'll never forget
google avatar

Michelle G.

Yelp
New location! Fresh & delicious chicken with crispy fries--this gets all the love from me. The Elvis wall is awesome and the view of the strip from the 2nd floor seating is fantastic!

Yelp
First time trying this chain on the Vegas strip. Per reviews, looks like this is a new location and opened 30 days ago. If you dine in, order on the first floor and then take the elevator to the 2nd floor to sit. There are stairs but didn't want to risk dropping the food. I am not a huge chicken tender connoisseur but it was really good - lightly battered and juicy and hot inside. The combo meal included crinkle fries , a slice of bread, and a soda. Enjoyed it all. If you sit upstairs, you can refill your drinks. The price was affordable and a great eat on the strip.
