Incredible Ramen Experience at Ramen Ishida, Chelsea Ramen Ishida is new to Chelsea, and let me tell you—the ramen is to die for! I’ve been here four times already for lunch, and every single visit has been consistently amazing. I had no trouble getting a table, and the service, food, and accommodations were top-notch. From the moment you sit down, the experience flows effortlessly from appetizers to the main course. The ramen is rich, flavorful, and honestly, the best I’ve had in Chelsea so far. I had a terrible experience at Ramen Ishida in Chelsea. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely rushed. The service was overly quick and disorganized, and I was in and out in under 20 minutes — barely enough time to enjoy my meal. The food was incredibly bland, with small portions that didn’t feel worth the price. On top of that, the waitstaff had a terrible energy, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. It's clear they were more focused on getting customers in and out as fast as possible rather than providing a pleasant dining experience. I won’t be returning after this.

Ramen in NYC is too often disappointing, but Ramen Ishida exceeded my expectations. They provide an upscale experience at a very reasonable price point ~$20 per bowl. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful without being too salty, and the noodles are chewy. Importantly, the temperature of the noodles and soup were perfect, no doubt due to expertise of the chef and also choosing the right dinnerware. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the service is top notch. Can’t wait to come back and try more. The spicy pork mushroom ramen was the best I’ve tried in NYC.

Extremely high quality ramen. 🍜 I’d definitely return again. Overall, fantastic food, friendly staff, well designed and maintained dining space. We got: - crab croquette - gyoza - Tokyo shoyu ramen with truffle - spicy miso ramen I usually don’t order gyoza since it’s hard to make gyoza special. But this place did it! It comes in a savory broth and really good. The pork chashu in both ramens had a nice charred touch. The noodles are cooked perfectly. Both broths were so so so clean, well seasoned and delicious. The design of the place is very zen and peaceful. What a change from other typical ramen places! The staff is so friendly as well. Don’t wait. Just go.

As I’m Japanese, I love this ramen most and it’s the most authentic quality ramen in Manhattan. The quality of noodles is perfect, Hoso (thin) and Kata(hard) noodle’s style. When I go to other Ramen restaurants, their noodles are usually different from the real one, even famous places. But this one is awesome👍Also, the saltiness of the soup is good, you can eat all of it including soup because of not salty. I like the idea of combining truffle and siso(flavored leaf), so the taste is not too fatty even though the chashu pork is very soft. I love the interior design as well. I will come again tomorrow!

This is a must-try ramen place in NYC! I tried the Spicy Mushroom Pork Ramen, and I liked how it wasn’t too spicy but had a good spicy flavor. My fiancé tried the Umami Miso Ramen, and he loved how deep the broth was. The noodles were chewy, which I loved for the texture. We also tried their Karaage chicken, which was the best I’ve ever had! It had a lot of meat and was very crispy. Their Crab Cream Croquet was so crispy on the outside but soft cream inside. We also tried the sesame cucumber, which was very refreshing and had an umami flavor. The staff was very kind, and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as well. Highly recommend!

Newly opened…. a must try when in Chelsea or NYC. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere perfectly complements the top-notch service and knowledgeable staff. The food is simply amazing; I had the New Tokyo Style Shōyu Ramen (w/truffle), potato salad, crab croquettes, shishito peppers and every bite was bursting with flavor. If you’re a ramen lover, this place is an absolute must-try! I will be back!
