Where to Eat in Kiev

"Kiev sounds like an unlikely place for good ramen, and yet there’s a fantastic ramen shop just steps away from Kiev Pechersk Lavra. Noodle vs Marketing is a tiny space in a basement, so prepare to wait in line if you show up at a popular time. The restaurant clearly lays out what it isn’t: a modern Asian restaurant or somewhere that cooks traditional Japanese food or Tokyo-style ramen. It is, however, a delicious Kiev take on ramen. Pick one of the four ramen options (each can be made vegetarian) and be careful with the spicy one as it tastes like liquid fire.Where: вхід у дворі, Khrestovyi Ln, 8/9, Kyiv, Ukraine, 02000" - MATADOR_NETWORK

With Kyiv Under Siege, the City’s Best Chefs Have Mobilized | Eater

"A local ramen chain that grew from a single shop (launched in 2016) to multiple sites across the city, established by a founder who returned from the U.S. after Euromaidan; its operations were abruptly transformed by the invasion, with restaurants repurposed as volunteer headquarters and kitchens reorganized to supply Ukrainian security forces. The founder has been living at one site, coordinating 24/7 production, developing military-friendly menus inspired by U.S. special operations nutrition guidance (including borsch and traditional pork salo), and supporting fundraising efforts managed partly by family abroad." - Yaroslav Druziuk

It’s a bit difficult to find. You have to go through an arch and even after we recognized it more by the elk than the small sign in the door. We ended up not eating here as it was rather busy in Saturday night and the only places left were by the door where it could have been a bit cold. It did seem nice though and I look forward to eating here once.

The waiter was very kind and cool, so service is 5/5. Food was amazing too, this was my second time here and not the last one. My friend liked everything and I’m really glad. Highly recommend to visit this place. P.s portions are very big and prices are low. This is the best place to try ramen in Kyiv

Small place with an Asian soul! (Hidden in a yard) Food is quite tasty! Portions are big, for me Regular (baby) was enough👌🏻 Not a place for a date, but for a friends meeting:) Prices are average

Japanese Ramen in Ukraine. Good ramen at the tiny spot. Place gets very busy and service is very slow. They can messed up your your so make sure you check what you get in your soup.

As a traveller & a foodie this is the type of place that you dream of. It's located in the basement of a soviet era block of flats just note that the access is in the court yard. They have a few dishes but I took the large shiro ramen and a birch water both I can highly recommend the ramen was absolutely delicious and on par with some I have had in Japan. It's run by a cool your team and some speak English so don't me scared. It was one of my foodie highlights while I was in Kiev. It all cost around $4

First time visited Ramen vs Marketing. Thanks waitress, she recommended to take baby ramen miso and add some broth if the soup will be stodgy or salty, that's what I've done. Success 😃 Love this place! Highly recommended!

I took the baby basic ramen with a portion of tofu. I was near $3. I liked the taste and the place. Even though it is hidden in the back yard, after 5 pm it likely to be crowded.
