Soup is still good, but just tastes normal as others are becoming better and better. It’s been 1.5 years since my last visit. Before, it’s one of my favorite chicken shoyu/shio ramen. However, it didn’t grow much. I still like it, but doubt if it’s still one of the top chicken ramen in Tokyo. The noodles are cooked to a bit soft, and the soup lacks deeper layers of tastes… Good thing is the attitude of chefs is still amazing. Details such as how carefully they cool down and organize the ramen in the bowl prove it well.

Very delicious, must visit. Order the recommended menu to try everything. The egg is the best. Pork has special aroma when eat, very special. The bamboo shoots are to die for. Overall is super impress experience.

Here you need to order from the wending machine. The place is small. All counter seat. They have 12 seats. We order salt and shoyu ramen. Both come with slice pork, egg, wantan and bamboo shoot. The broth is clear not that oily. Nothing special. It taste normal not wow. The wantan is not bad. Like the salt ramen.

Cosy little shop, easy to get to. I had the house special and it did not disappoint. I'd taken a train and walked 1km to get here, would probably have walked double and lined up knowing what I know now, but Monday night it was nice and quiet, no wait. Clean, rich yet light broth in mouth texture. Noodles cooked as you'd expect, just perfect with a little chew. Generous meat servings, bamboo and wonderful whole egg. Staff were helpful while I worked out the self serve ticket machine. Do yourself a favor and stop in here. Subarashi!

It was tasty but I couldn't find the noodles exotic enough to go for second time. I recommend shoyu ramen to you which was much better than salt . You'll probably like the pork bowl but it's so much butter used for the pork which is my favorite.

This place was in the Michelin guide book 2015/2016 So my hopes were high for a delicate balance, and it delivered If you like a good balance of flavors, I do recommend this placez but if you're looking for a strong flavor, there are other places I would go to. Unlike most places that offer Tsukemen(dipping noodles) this place gives you the noodles in water, I'm assuming do the noodles don't clump together The soup was nice and well balanced, a different flavor than any other place I've been It also had wontons and a flavored egg(very nice deep red yolks) The noodles had a nice consistency, I'm also assuming made specifically for them I would recommend to people looking for a more high end ramen experience at a lower price.

The shio chicken broth ramen here has just become my personal favorite out of all the ones I’ve had in Tokyo. Every single ingredient in this bowl of ramen was perfectly cooked, and the chicken broth was rich and flavorful. To me this is what I’d consider a perfect bowl of ramen.

Top rated, chicken based broth serving simple but wholesome tastes. Being chicken based makes it feel lighter & less fatty than others, easy to drink until the last drop, filling you up without fulling you out. If that even makes sense... The standard set is 880 yen via vending machine,with egg/noodles/extra meat (pork or chicken) as potential add-ons. Take a ticket and a seat, food comes out quick. Its very zen watching the bowls get prepared... noodles spooned out, meat thinly sliced, greenary delicately topped. Small store only fits about 12 people via barseats, so there's always a line but goes fast. Lots of happy slurping can be heard all throughout.

I saw this on a list of ramen restaurants that had won Michelin Bib Gourmand, and it was notable to me for the duck ramen. Unfortunately, when I arrived, there was absolutely no duck ramen to be had. Although the line looked long, I only waited 20 minutes on a Thursday afternoon to be seated. I ordered the 880¥ chicken ramen and added chashu for 200¥. The broth was definitely incredibly flavorful - super concentrated chicken flavor with a little bit of soy sauce. The thin chicken slices were really tender, but not very flavorful. The pork was medium tender and similarly not very flavorful. Overall, I liked it, but I was disappointed because my heart was set on duck ramen and that review must have been outdated.

Every time I've passed the place there had been a line out the door, but lucky for me there were seats empty when I stopped by and I was able to sit immediately. The ramen was awesome; not my absolute favorite, since nothing can beat tonkotsu ramen in my book, but still worth the money. It was filling and delicious, they serve just the right amount. Perfect for a cold night, some good chicken broth will keep you warm on your walk home. Worth the stop!

A little underwhelming for all the hype the restaurant seems to make with its sign as top best ramen of 2017 propped right outside and its awards inside of the store. Perhaps I didn't order the best of the store and I'm still not sure what I got but I'm pretty sure it was some duck ramen that costed 880 yen (Smelled and tasted like duck). It was an average price and I randomly clicked it on the ticketing booth by the entrance of the store inside. Good thing the worker was kind to help out with me ordering. It tasted good but I don't think I would swing by again unless I craved some ramen and didn't want to go too far for some. 鸭

Yamaguchi is pretty easy to find, as they have signs outside telling you how many awards they've won. My friend went once and was hooked, so I figured I should give their chicken-based ramen a try. Overall, I thought it was very good, with the noodles being the highlight of the bowl for me. Definitely not the best ramen I've had, but it's my friend's favorite place in Tokyo, and, with all the awards this place has won, others clearly agree with him. Standard ramen prices (about 800 yen, depending on what you get) and a good, filling bowl make this place a solid one.
