Great buffet, not to expensive, great service, off strip, easy to go to, good parking. Food is very good. Not as many choices as others, like the Wynn buffet, but they have a good selection. Easy to get in, no crazy lines or wait. Lots of deserts, definitely get some gelato. Staff was good and attentive.

We had an incredible time at Rampart Casino! The lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and top-notch service made our visit truly special. You must try the buffet—come hungry because the food is absolutely delicious! From the ribs to soups, salads, and desserts, everything is a must-try. We especially love the center gaming area—it’s so beautifully designed and adds to the amazing experience. The casino is incredibly clean and feels just like home, with plenty of parking available. A special thank you to the owner for providing the greatest dinner at the buffet—truly the best buffet in town! Thank you, Rampart Casino, for a fantastic time—we can’t wait to come back! Rampart Casino and the Buffet are the best. I had a great time at this luxurious location. 5 star accommodations, service, and food. The staff and personnel were all professional and courteous. I can't wait to go back!

It's still one of my favorite casinos to play in and go to bingo. All the food outlets are awesome. Stayed last night, and the room was very nice with a jacuzzi tub that fits 2 people, and the shower had 2 types of shower heads.

I absolutely love this hotel! Thank you for your exceptional hospitality! I've been loyal to this hotel for years and have enjoyed many of their services. First, the trim service at Gentlemen's Tonic is impressive! The pricing is unbeatable, and the haircut is fantastic. The stylist takes his time, is flexible, and really listens to your preferences. I look forward to my next appointment—wishing you a wonderful New Year! Secondly, my wife and I rented a car through the hotel's rental service, and we had a great experience. After returning the car, we explored the beautiful outdoor oasis on the property, featuring lovely streams, a charming bridge, and even a waterfall—a true hidden gem! There’s also an outdoor seating area perfect for meetings or simply enjoying nature. Lastly, the JW Marriott creates a welcoming atmosphere for locals. Although it's a casino, it doesn’t feel overly "Vegas." My room was clean and comfortable, especially with the Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. I can't wait for the tower renovations to be completed so I can stay in one of those new rooms; they are sure to impress!

Tim took care of me on the bar. Thank you Tim for being such a great bartender. All of the other staff I encountered were spectacular. Thanks everyone. Happy New Year and wishing everyone the best!

Google
Uggg… horrible smoky dirty air. The hotel really is in need of renovation and a modernization of the ventilation systems. Cool to see a cigarette vending machine. The restaurants are often closed so that was something to consider.

Very clean, best selection of slots. Cafe served excellent food. Very helpful staff.

Yelp
I lived in Las Vegas for over four years and in that time I only spent one night at Rampart Casino thanks to a dinner reservation at the Hawthorn Grill, but that changed last night. It was my mother in law's birthday and she wanted to play some bingo so we figured we would hit up the closest casino at the time and that just so happened to be Rampart. We showed up here around 8PM and the casino floor was absolutely packed. The tables were full, the slot machines were full, the restaurants were busy, and everyone seemed to be having a pretty good time. Now, as a four year Vegas local I found myself at casinos like the Palms and Palace Station since I lived close by but the vibe of this place was definitely very laid back and everyone seemed to be enjoying themself. Once we found it, we headed into the bingo room to play on the tablets and have a good (not great since we lost, but still) and had a pretty good time doing so. The round we played ended up being around 60 minutes and the free drinks (coffee, juice, pop) really won me over, so thanks for the three cups of starry and root beer I indulged in. Overall, the Rampart Casino was a great time and I'll definitely try and stop back in in the future when I end up back in Las Vegas. My family had a great time playing bingo (even though we all lost) and a buddy of mine rant and raved about how well they treat locals so this place gets a thumbs up form me.

Yelp
Just visited this casino 25th anniversary food fest. There were bars outside and my teen daughter asked for glass of water they charged her teen debit card 16 dollars. As a regular guest here for 5 years I will not come here again. There is better options around. Shame!!!

Yelp
It is rare that I would even visit this casino in the area. Spacious, stress free, free public parking, good restaurant selections, very walkable all around, beautiful sceneries inside/outside, and more. Plenty of parking spots. Land is huge. Gardening landscape is beautiful. The casino and JW Marriott hotel is connected. I was impressed with the building architecture and walkway leading towards the hotel direction. Absolutely gorgeous. One of the favorites is Market Place Buffet with good deals and great foods. It feels different or stands out from other hotels/casinos. It feels calm, quiet, and simple with many good looking spots to sit and look outside natural surroundings and huge windows. I think this casino is underrated on Yelp. Casino is not fully packed with customers or smokes from cigarettes. This is a place for walking around and dining at steakhouses or catching up at spacious coffee shops. Many events or weddings are held at the hotel and conference room areas. Not cheap. This is really a very good 5-stars experience if you're coming to Las Vegas to relax. The photos describe the place exactly as it appears. Not many people come out this way. Real estate prices in the surrounding neighborhoods aren't cheap either. I would totally revisit during future trips.

Sharon V.

Yelp
We hit the Casino majority of the slots I played I triggered. I walked out with over $600 I am happy. I lost about $60.00 but won it all back. Next time will do brunch at Market Buffet the food looked amazing and the quality looked amazing going back Valentines weekend

Monique W.

Yelp
My family and I were going to go to the Market Place Buffet inside the Rampart Casino on a Sunday around 4:00 P.M. This was our first time at Rampart Casino and we've been in Las Vegas for over 14 years! Rampart Casino is located in Summerlin off of Summerlin Parkway and Rampart. Parking is free! You can choose to park outside or inside their complimentary parking garage. Rampart Casino is situated within the JW Marriot Las Vegas Resort & Spa. The casino floor at Rampart casino has a wide range of gaming selection such as slot machines and video poker. Rampart casino also has other amenities such as fine dining and quick service options. The casino is absolutely beautiful! We ended up eating at the Market Place buffet inside the Rampart Casino, one of the few buffets still open in Las Vegas! We would stop by here again!

Patricia N.

Yelp
I had such a great night at Summerlin bar last Tuesday. The bartender Mike was awesome, he is very friendly and took a good care of me and my friends.

Savannah K.

Yelp
For one the place is huge like a mall and even has its very own map but can navigate easily. Can I just say the buffet there though expensive is phenomenal!! Kept going back for more and had about 3-4 plates because it was so good. Really recommend the chicken breast with the grilled peppers on the side and the mushroom risotto!! Chefs kiss!! Will go again whenever we go back to Vegas!!

Elisha R.

Yelp
This has become one of our fav casinos, as much as we go to Vegas I had never been here. Plenty of well lit parking and parking lot security. The layout of the casino floor, the amount of games and variety are great. Clean casino and restrooms. Waitresses are always coming by for drink orders. Nice assortment of affordable food options.

Lyle O.

Yelp
We would've never have thought about coming to Rampart Casino if it weren't for our relatives who live in Vegas and suggested we meet here from Monday brunch. For starters, it's a good way off the strip in Summerlin, but when driving into this property I was pleasantly surprised and happy, it was a JW Marriot hotel and casino. You can only expect good things from this point on. The exterior of the hotel was something you'd expect from a Marriot hotel so that didn't disappoint. Free self parking is located on the right and they also offer Valet parking when pulling up to the front entrance. We opted for valet parking. Walking into the hotel, you're greeted with machines then tables, I'm not sure what type of tables or what the limits were, but I did see Black Jack. We actually ate at the buffet so I wasn't paying much attention but the carpet was new and the table's were open. The buffet was excellent, choices were Italian, Chinese, American and of course green salad and desserts. Cost was approximately $20 something a person but I thought a great value.

Yelp
Great place we love eating in the fine restaurants. I recommend giving it a try. Overall a very friendly group of people. Hawthorne steakhouse is really super. We loved it very much!!! I truly recommend giving it a try:)))

Melissa C.

Yelp
It's difficult to really describe the Rampart, other than the obvious- it's a locals casino attached to the JW Marriott Hotel. I'll give it a try- The vibe is unlike its neighbor to the south, Suncoast. Generally, the crowd is a bit older at Rampart. And there are certain days that are always busy, obviously weekends, and it can be pretty dead on Mon-Tues. The casino floor is pretty cramped, and there are 4 bars with gaming. This is a gambler's casino! Round Bar does have seating areas around the bar, which don't see much action during the week. They also have the only buffet in Summerlin, Market Place Buffet. There's also a Starbucks, with a patio! The drinks have always been subpar, I guess they don't get many martini orders at the bars. It's always a gamble (haha!) to order one! Good thing you can BYOB! As for their player's club, Rampart Rewards, this is a tough casino to move up in status. I've not budged from the lowest level in 15 years! I do get monthly offers/comps tho.

Steve B.

Yelp
Gorgeous property The hotel casino, and the surrounding grounds are immaculate. I ate at the coffee shop on my way to work like 3 o'clock in the morning ,and it was excellent and the service was outstanding Graveyard shift I believe the waitress's name was Janice. She was absolutely excellent. I usually stop at the Rampart or at the Suncoast to get some breakfast.. I actually prefer the Rampart

Marci R.

Yelp
I started visiting the Rampart again about a year ago. I am having an entirely different experience than four years ago. It's a terrific casino with great ambience, food and people. It's currently my favorite casino of all the ones that I go to. Great for both locals and visitors from out of town. The events and perks for locals are plentiful. The connected JW Marriott hotel and the rooms are gorgeous. The slot machines are updated constantly to the newest and best. The buffet and other restaurants are yummy. And the staff makes me feel very welcome which is nice since I go there frequently--they are wonderful people who care about their guests' experience. I enjoy my time playing and eating there very much.

Christine L.

Yelp
Went here with a friend to their buffet and the food was great! The atmosphere was lovely as well. Very family friendly as well!

John P.

Yelp
Summerlin bar. Josh the bartender!!! Been working there since the place opened. Very personable guy. He puts my beers in ice for me!! Also seems to remembers everyone's name. Also very knowledgeable about his sports if you have a question about sports ask Josh. Every time I'm in the area I stop in just to see him. Great guy!!

Loretta C.

Yelp
We had the best time!! I hit 3 jackpots, played on 10X play day. Overall the people were kind, friendly & fun. We tried the buffet. We were underwhelmed IMHO. We'll definitely be returning for more fun!

Amy O.

Yelp
3/14/2023 Prior researching and reading other Yelper's reviews led us here. Also watched a few you tube videos to see what was cool and new to see. Never heard of this place and after seeing the pics of the resort, had to stop by. Grounds are very nice!.. I love parking garages and it was so convenient to walk to. Once we entered I was surprised!.. it was a lot older than I had imagined.. The casino itself was like walking in one big circle.. Main reason to visit, I had to see the buffet.. I'm glad we stopped in.

Philip T.

Yelp
Extremely satisfied: Kudo's to the Bingo Team! Ladies there were courteous, friendly, kind and very professional!! Love their attitude with their and there personality are welcoming to the Bingo patrons, so i noticed!!. Very dissatisfied: On the other hand, the beverage staff (ladies..), on the slits floor are rude, not friendly and unprofessional!! I waited for a long time (30 minutes) on a machine but no floor beverage staff were available. I played on several slit machines for a long time and it will be nice/great to see beverage staff on the floor more frequent (10-15 mins...).

Stephen D.

Yelp
This casino has undergone positive changes, transforming into a fantastic destination. With improvements to the buffet area, sportsbook, and casino floor, it's now an excellent spot for dining, enjoying drinks or spending time at the slots and tables.

Lauren W.

Yelp
Visited after watching Vegas low roller. The casino is very nice and had many new games. I'm from Michigan so I normally wouldn't frequent this casino since it's a bit out of the way, but definitely had to make a visit and was not disappointed!

Yelp
For the price I think Rampart offers the best buffet now in Las Vegas. The other place on the strip still is the reigning champ but at double the price, I don't think so, way too many choices and way too crowded. Value wise I would come here instead. The prime rib was surprisingly very excellent for a buffet, I know, I do love prime rib. Their fried chicken was pretty darn good and the best part the butt was still attached to the thigh. The sausage, I would pass on, there was no flavor and it was a little overcooked. My favorite, broccoli rabe was in my opinion s little overcooked, I would have liked it with a little bit more crunch to it. It was still good but a little too overcooked for my liking. I tried a little of the short rib ravioli, all I can say is yum, a meal by itself if I was to order just an entree. The item that stood out was the Singaporean style curry chicken, wow was that good, I could eat that all the time with some rice. I certainly hope they keep this on the menu for the buffets, if all the rest of the items were mediocre, I could just have this alone with rice. I tried a little of their clam chowder, it was okay, it was not creamy enough, as if no milk was used to make this soup. For the salads I did have their wedge salad and a little ceasar with red onions and black olives. The wedge salad was a nice portion in their individual serving containers, just enough bleu cheese to satisfy most people. I of course couldn't pass up on their gelato's but probably should have passed on them, I simply probably had too much to eat. I had both their cappuccino and chocolate in sugar cones, gelato or ice cream simply tastes better in sugar cones. The best part of this meal was they had pineapple juice, that's a big plus at any buffet. There so many good choices in their buffet that something will be interesting to you. Great buffet at a reasonable price.

Kevin C.

Yelp
cheapest locals casino in las vegas. and by cheap i mean the payouts are terrible, they give you nothing. lose $1000 and they give you one dollar. no complimentary food. nothing. stay away !!! go to the strip..... better odds of winning

Michael K.

Yelp
The food was good with plenty of flavorful well-prepared choices. But bring your own knife - the available knives are Dull and were ill-equipped to cut the pork chops and the beef. Those were good too if you can cut. The salads, sides and desserts were tasty as well. Server attentiveness was good too.

Cody M.

Yelp
Dude in a rams jersey didn't place my hard ways bet and didn't wanna pay me out just because I was in a packers jersey and the had lost that day, don't go play craps at night period.

Abe M.

Yelp
Hey I'm back visiting I told you I'll return! :) We've been hanging out here a lot and eating at the cafes often today. All the machines are awesome here!! I like to have a recap and just mention. This place changed a lot! This was fun before but it's more fun now!! Today I went to Earl Gray Cafe. I had some awesome rib steak with green beans. Then after that I'm back to all the machines donating all my money having fun :) I had few wins out there. All the employees are very awesome! See you again till next time don't forget to get your rewards card!!

Joe D.

Yelp
Visited this place last week to have some fun gambling little did I noticed to see this older security guard throw that's right THROW a water bottle in the trash and missed, then I saw him kicked it and kicked it under a chair instead of picking it back up and walked away wow really he setting up a slip and fall if some came there and pulled the chair out not seeing the bottle on the floor they could of fallen back or fallen on the machine and cracked their head. Aren't security guards supposed to keep areas safe this old man needs to be fired if he can't pick up a bottle and throw in back in the trash for the safety of others l would fire him how can he protect the casino but I didn't complain because the management does nothing anyways from my past experience that l have seen and witness it wasn't the cowboy security guard who walks around like a cowboy and where's a cowboy hat like he's in Texas it's the other older security guard below is a picture that I personally took after he kicked it under the chair and to top it off he was walking with another security guard who looks like Fred flintstone who just laughed at it when he kicked the bottle lousy team they have

Yelp
We stayed here in 2009 for a family reunion and thought this was the cat's meow. In 2023 in a return vacation... not nearly the same hotel we remembered walking into, the captivating smell then gave the hotel such a warm, welcoming feel. Not so much this time... The decor is extremely outdated and for a Marriott loyalist, this place falls short, way short. The room felt mismatched between the ceiling fan, nightstands, carpet. I will say that staying mostly at Element Hotels, we are quite spoiled. The bathroom was quite outdated as well with some brass fixtures and the frequent sugar ant bombardments. To our surprise as noted above, sugar ants decided to take up residence in our bathroom. For the rest of the day, we felt as if we were covered in ants. The staff were quick respond; however, it was an unwelcome event for our stay. Upon our return from the Bellagio that evening watching the water show, the ants were back in force and our last night was a disaster with both of us waking up constantly feeling as we were covered in ants. When we went to check out, we told the receptionist about the onslaught of ants and her response was just hilarious... She basically said she has sugar ants too at her place and it has been a bad year with the heat and all. When we pay thousands of dollars for vacation... an ant free room should be the norm... Oh, well... Won't stay here again...

Brooke M.

Yelp
We love this pool we come here all the time, but Claudia is the worst cocktail pool server we've ever come across. Had to flag her down after she walked past us 10 times. Once we ordered she drops the check off didn't say thank you etc. She's lucky I'm in the industry because she didn't even deserve the $1 I tipped.

Kai J.

Yelp
Local casino where locals will win and enjoy the time there! Every employee there are friendly and the place doesn't smell like millions of chain smokers it's always fresh and amazing!

Lawrence H.

Yelp
A casino where everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. The table games have low limits and smiles everywhere. Thank you Rampart.

Teresa C.

Yelp
Cocktails service is horrible we asked several of their employees they said it's not their department..after few hours we gave up and just left... terrible customer service..

Timothy W.

Yelp
Rampart is awesome! My spouse and mother go every time we visit Vegas. We love the games, the food selection is also really good. We win a majority of the times we go but they could do a better jobs cleaning the machines. 2 out of every 10 machines we play are dirty. They either have water stains from the drinks or trash laying around.

Robin L.

Yelp
I was at the Rampart tonight, 11/12/24. I have never been so disappointed with any casino as much as I am with the Rampart. Not only are they the only casino that only lets you use YOUR FREE PLAY 3 days a week, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Which should be changed to simply keep up with the Jones's, so to speak. Anyway, they decided to do some kind of system update. They claim that they started this update at midnight on the 11/12 but I was there nearly 18 hours later and the system updated had not been completed yet and wasn't allowing ANYONE ANY FREE PLAY OR THE ABILITY TO PRINT A TICKET WITH THE MONEY THEY PUT INTO THE MACHINE. When an attendant finally came around they didn't have enough money to pay you. They also didn't have enough staff to cover this shit show. I find this unacceptable. This is respectable casino. I love the restaurants here. As a matter of fact I just had a great dinner in one of them. Then to come to the casino expecting to have a wonderful time and then be hit with this terrible experience. I am extremely disappointed. In any other type of corporation the higher up that initiated this fiasco would be let go. I don't know what higher up employee was in charge of this but there should certainly be repercussions. If the customers that you need and base your business on were punished why wouldn't the person who created this mess not be punished. I had to leave my change in every machine. Couldn't use my small amount of free play and I was inconvenienced every time I wanted to cash out and go to another machine. However, they apologized a couple of times over their PA system, but it really fell on deaf ears. The word "SORRY" doesn't mean anything unless it's followed up with action. Shame on you Rampart and I hope you find a way to give restitution to the patrons of your establishment on 11/12. Extremely disappointed.

Victoria Torij J.

Yelp
the casino is relax and the buffet is so good and worth the price. Friendly staff both the casino and buffet

Mike M.

Yelp
Only 3 stars because of the smoke. Didn't used to be this bad. Change the air filters perhaps? And why not make the area by the coffee shop and buffet smoke free? It just makes perfect sense. The book is smoke free. A portion of machines in the area are smoke free. But the poker bar is smoke 'em if you got em. And of course the smoke goes everywhere. I like the Rampart but I cannot continue to go there if this problem is not addressed. And I've been coming here since The Resort at Summerlin.

Brenda G.

Yelp
Went to the Deli today & the employee MAGARY was so nice & helpful.Amazing Customer Service!! I hope they give her a Raise.

J H.

Yelp
Valet dudes are great. Buffet - well --- Carving area it's usually great. Those chefs clearly have pride in their area. Asian section they are heavy on salt. They overcook the mussels. Too much breading on the honey-walnut itty-bitty shrimp. They either overcook or undercook the bokchoy - very inconsistent. International pizza/pasta always looks dried out or over-sauced. Ladies bathrooms by the coffee shop - PLEASE - get those spray things that pretty much all nicer hotels use - even Costco Centennial has it in their bathroom. Nothing worse than going to use the facility before dining and losing appetite. And as far as gaming goes -- those of us that enjoy sitting mindlessly at slot machines would appreciate some wins. Not once every 2 or 3 months please.

Mhali B.

Yelp
I went to the Jw Marriott Pool yesterday. My server was Kate. I ordered a drink that I never received because she forgot to bring it to me. I ended up going up to the bar to get the drink myself. Other than my experience with this server the pool was beautiful and clean.

Amber O.

Yelp
Much less crowded than the Strip, so that alone is reason to go. Great spot for locals. They have a non-smoking area, and if you're staying in the JW Marriott you get free drink tickets. Plenty of staff around even at night, and the place was pretty clean with plenty of public restrooms. The layout was kind of confusing but at least there were big signs and maps displayed throughout the property so that you could find your way around. Ample parking, you don't need to do valet unless you want to feel important lol.

Margie C.

Yelp
My favorite casino in Vegas rooms are amazing casino host are great. And bingo girls are amazing. Buffet is good

Mari H.

Yelp
My girlfriend from out of town had a two day offer stay which was great and the buffet was fabulous really enjoyed that for my birthday the new Sports Book is great enjoyed that as well my friend wasn't very familiar with the lay out of the casino and got lost from her slot where she was playing after going to the ladies room and the security who was working on 11/6/23 was very rude and kicked her Out of the casino!!!! Not a way to enjoy our first night there ..... Hope today is better

Billy C.

Yelp
Very tight slots. The staff is very friendly, and great cocktail service. However I did not drive all the way from Henderson to lose $200 in less than a half hour. I play the same games at station casinos and they have a better payout. Do not waste your gas to drive all the way to the rampart casino. If you are going to drive up this far go to Durango the new casinos. I have not been there yet but I will be going there soon

Huston C.

Yelp
Oh yes excellent buffet my buddies and I are retired military and airlines people every time we have gone there service is excellent kudos.

Jesse P.

Yelp
The ought is drive from my house by the M casino to see what this side of town has to offer. Meh. I wouldn't recommend unless you have family in town and they want to see a different side of town. Biggest complaint. The ATMs are so poorly marked. If you're running low on the slots you can't just hop to an ATM really quickly. I was in high limit. Couldn't find an atm. I didn't even see one by the cage. I mean they might have been there but who knows. And each ATM is different. I made the mistake and "checked my balance" when usually you have to be prompted to do so. When this last ATM was the first thing it asked. All and all I feel like the slots in this casino are very similiar even though they have a wide variety of machines. You are either trying to get your goldfish to pop, or your coin buckets to pop, or you buffalos to pop. It's all the same. Gone are the days of fishing competitions with actual reels on the machine or group bonuses. it's all the same now. So is it worth the 20 minute drive to get here. Nahhh. It's just as easy to loose you money closer to home. Bonuses are harder than hell to get and when you do it's minimal. I hit a bonus on 12 dollars and ended up not even getting one line hit. It's really sad when you bet 12 dollars and still walk away empty handed. Well at least I now know what I'm not missing. But it got me out of the house. So I guess there's a win in there somewhere.

Kyle W.

Yelp
Definitely becoming my go to place off strip. I am a heavy video poker player, tons of choices and games here. High limit room which is really not high limit when compared to other casinos is small but great. Sportsbook has ties to Southpoint is smallish but good screens. Staff is very friendly, and hosts take care of their players, hotel connected and works well. Since moving back to Texas from Summerlin, this is our place to stay and play. Crowd is older, Summerlin types and you do not have to deal with any of the rowdy or craziness of downtown or the strip, free parking is always a plus.

Anthony L.

Yelp
Great service, fun environment, and beautiful property. The Casino Host team is great and we're happy to have Gina as our new host.

John L.

Yelp
I was assaulted in this casino and being a successful Latino male I always felt that I was looked at if I was not wanted there. Very disappointed because good people are good people and especially when I lay over $10K a week at their sports book. Valet is great...Janine at the sports books is great but I was treated and looked at as a bad person playing black jack. When I was assaulted I worked with security to not make a scene but now I was embarrassed and mistreated by security as if I was the one that did the assault. Now

Marlene M.

Yelp
The food was good and there was quite a variety. I would certainly go back again. There was a special offer the day I went and it was very unclear. It usually involves spending money to access the buffet specials.

Zola T.

Yelp
This casino hotel is a Marriott. What a pretty place to stay. We stayed the night before at the Bellagio and yet I like this hotel room better. Very clean and the staff is very attentive. Free parking and 20$ off breakfast you can't beat this place.
