"They don't hold back on citrus and spice at Ranchito Mi Peru II, a casual Peruvian spot in Allapattah. The leche de tigre ceviche is intense enough to make your chest hair grow chest hair. Served in a champagne saucer, the seabass is diced into pieces so fine, it almost eats like an acidic arroz con leche. It doesn’t need the additional kick of rocoto sauce, but we won’t stop you if you’re a spice freak. "Ranchito Mi Peru 2 is a true huarique—a typical Peruvian restaurant serving hearty dishes. Weekends are the best time to come here for the specials. Saturday is when you might find them making chanfainita, a stew of chopped cow lung with diced potatoes in a spicy ají panca sauce.
