The Best Ceviche In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"They don't hold back on citrus and spice at Ranchito Mi Peru II, a casual Peruvian spot in Allapattah. The leche de tigre ceviche is intense enough to make your chest hair grow chest hair. Served in a champagne saucer, the seabass is diced into pieces so fine, it almost eats like an acidic arroz con leche. It doesn’t need the additional kick of rocoto sauce, but we won’t stop you if you’re a spice freak. They also make a great ceviche mixto that’s not as heavy-handed with the lime juice and has surprise bits of scallop scattered around." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer

The 13 Best Peruvian Restaurants In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"This Allapattah restaurant makes massive (and delicious) Peruvian classics like tallarín saltado, ceviche mixto, and ají de gallina—a special that’s only available on Tuesdays. Thankfully, the tallarín saltado (a type of stir-fried noodle dish with meat and vegetables) is available every day. And we love it. It’s heavy on soy sauce and has a healthy dose of tomatoes and onions to soak up all that salt. The ceviche section of the menu should be a priority. Specifically, the leche de tigre ceviche, which is intense enough to make your chest hair grow chest hair." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

The 17 Best Restaurants In Allapattah - Miami - The Infatuation

"Ranchito Mi Peru 2 is a true huarique—a typical Peruvian restaurant serving hearty dishes. Weekends are the best time to come here for the specials. Saturday is when you might find them making chanfainita, a stew of chopped cow lung with diced potatoes in a spicy ají panca sauce. Sunday specials include another classic—pachamanca a la olla, a dish of various meats marinated in herbs, potatoes, corn, and slightly sweet humitas steamed together in a pot." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

Highly recommended!!! This places is a 10/10 for Peruvian cuisine!!! Our waitress was super friendly and I truly loved her essence! Over all I liked all dishes that we shared, but my favorite one was the lomo salteado.

Let me explain this to many that are not Peruvian. When you go here, you are going to experience Peruvian neighborhood culture. You aren’t going to a place where the chef has been to culinary school or worked under a respected chef. The food here is made from the heart, with love and the recipes are made from their traditions. I love their food and experience it offers. I know coming here it’s not going to be like going to LaMar but this is great in its on way. Go there on a Friday to experience live music and you’ll get a feel that you are in a normal, humble, working class area in Peru. Very humble facility that seems family owned and operated.

I've been coming to this restaurant for a few weeks now. I wanted to try several dishes before writing a review. Today's dish was "picante de carne" which was the special of the day, and it was amazing! The food here is always amazing! All the staff member are related, it's a family run restaurant. They have their regular menu (see pictures) and daily specials which change regularly. I've read several reviews, and I agree with the few things. 1. Their service isn't the best. 2. They don't speak English. 3 Menu is in Spanish. I do speak/read Spanish but had to translate a few things since I'm not to familiar with Peruvian food. I would definitely recommend this place, how a few things to be aware of. As I previously stated, Spanish menus, employees only speak Spanish. Restaurant is in an up coming area, and parking is limited. But, if you can over look all those things (which you should)... This place is awesome. And their coladas aren't to bad.. 😉

We went for the first time for the Lurin breakfast and it was good, could’ve been better if the coffee cup was bigger and the pan francés too.The bread was too small to make a sandwich, but anyways, we were satisfied. We decided to order arroz con pato to go, when we got home and open the container, I regretted I did, the pato was so small I thought it was joke. For 15 dollars a plate, you would expect to be a decent piece of pato, but all I got was a small piece which was mostly bone and skin. Very dissapointed.
