Last night, I ate one of the best Salmon plates I ever had. They were super fast at seating us. I enjoyed the Jalepeno Cheese Curds too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great time and I would definitely recommend their food, especially the Salmon.

The best hamburger I’ve ever had👍 And the bartender (a girl with brown hair pulled back in braid ) that took my order was awesome great personality and very professional. Today is Tuesday May 14th And it was about 10:00 pm when I went there to eat. So if ya go around that time you won’t be disappointed that’s for sure My burger was perfect! Ya all have a blessed rest of 2024😀

Had dinner here, there was a 10 min wait time to get seated. After seated our server was very friendly I ended up grabbing the Buffalo chicken wings with a side garlic cheese fries we also got chicken tenders meal the food was really good and fast. I highly recommend it.

Good food inside the Sycaun Casino. I included a few pictures…The hot wings were really good too. Live music, sports, accommodated a large group of 14 for us with no reservations.

I'm just standing in front of the bar waiting to place a to go order and people don't even bother. It's not even busy that's the crazy part and yet standing waiting for service. After waiting 7 minutes without any acknowledgement I left it's unfortunate that pink Buddha is closed on weds.

Really great food for very reasonable prices, I had a delicious Reuben for $17 and I also got a double burger the next day for $18! They also have deals during football games and currently for the padres in the MLB playoffs, good value for your money, definitely come check it out!

I will start off and say the cheese curds are delicious! But upon trying this places other food it’s not up to par. They left the peppers inedible skin in the birria tacos and somehow the brisket upset both me and my partners stomach. It was a disappointment, the server was really kind…just a bit slow.

We've been here a few times and the food is always very good. Service is always good too. Our experience today was exceptional. Our server was a lovely person who took great care of us and so friendly. We started with the Pretzel Bites appetizer. Definitely try them! I got the T.A.B.S. Sandwich with Cole Slaw, Hubs got the Reuben with Mac snd Cheese and our son got the Philly Cheesesteak with Fries. Everything was made well, delicious and sizes are generous. Hubs only complaint was that the cheese was a little runny on the Mac but he said it was still good. We had a nice table near the huge TV and also facing the casino so we could people watch. It's a clean, roomy and relaxing place to enjoy a meal.

A sports bar grown up atmosphere with fast and friendly service. Unfortunately the food was borderline inedible. We ordered the sampler platter and it started off great, as the chips are delicious and clearly just came out of the fryer. The caramelized onion dip tasted closer to ranch, but still yummy. That's where to good times end - the birria egg roll was greasy with an unpleasant aftertaste, the pretzel bites smelled bad and had a spongy texture, the chicken strips tasted like from a freezer bag and over fried, and the sliders were poorly assembled, cheese completely unmelted, and on an overly sweet bun. I don't plan on returning.

The NY steak was good. The port wine sauce gave it good flavor, otherwise steak was good, not great. Vegetables were cooked just right. The broccoli had some kind of blue coloring so I didn't eat them. The glazed orange salmon was very good. Cooked perfectly. Great flavor. Definitely worth ordering again.

Loved our meals at Rank & File. The restaurant is located in between the main entrance and hotel entrance at Sycuan casino. Really great food, great service, and hearty portions. I wish I took more pictures because we ate quite a bit of different items over our two day stay at the casino but it just goes to show how good the food was because we were more excited to dig in rather than being preoccupied taking photos. I love that you can use your food comps at the restaurant -- still totally reasonable prices either way. Everything was sharing size.

Excellent Casino Restaurant For Hosting Events! SITREP I was hanging out with some fun friends at the Sycuan Casino Resort, and "Rank & File" is an excellent restaurant to catch a bite to eat while enjoyed one Halloween event and were then heading out to ANOTHER Halloween event hosted by the casino in their Ballroom. THE SETUP During the ROCK 105.3 Radio show event hosted at the restaurant, we were able to seat our large'ish group of 12 people (Fans of the show) quite easily at one of the tables and our appetizer and entree picks from the menu really satisfied us. The restaurant is located by the north entrance of Sycuan casino by the valet area. I usually sit at the bar area, order food and play keno but I went with a group of people that night so we sat at a table. We had ordered the birria tacos, garlic Parmesan fries, chili and brisket nachos. None of the dishes stood out to me, I just picked at the food. I wanted to order the garlic bacon fries, sadly they don't make those anymore. It was so delicious, I would order it every time I was here. It was pretty quiet on a Saturday night inside the restaurant, plenty of open tables around. Most of the time, they have music blasting in this establishment. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. They are generous with the drinks when I sit at the bar area. They accept your players card for discounts, redeem your free food points or to earn points, make sure to have your ID on hand. They would need to verify it's you.

Rank & File is a haven for those seeking a welcoming atmosphere paired with a hearty meal and chilled brews within the casino. With a vintage nod to the armed services, this restaurant delivers classic American comfort food and has an impressive selection of 30 taps in a friendly, unpretentious manner. The delectable jalapeño cheese curds, nachos, and mud pie are not only flavorful but reasonably priced, enhancing the overall dining experience. While the service is good, the nightly live music from Wednesday to Saturday adds an extra layer of enjoyment. It is located close to the vallet parking, which is a plus.

This place is really good in terms of quality of food and quality of service. Plus, the pricing is very reasonable in relationship to what you get. It is possible this might be the best restaurant in the entire casino.

Better than I expected because that bread on that Reuben was so good. I like my T.A.B.S, but the rueben was better and the Mac n cheese was pretty light and delicious. Everyone had great customer service. I didn't get anyone's name, but the host and server that I had were really nice.

Great service! Clean wide space. The bar seating was full. The staff and server was so friendly. Love them! The food was fresh, so delicious, and amazing. And it came out fast! About 10 minutes or so. Great experience. Must come here!

I was hesitant to order because I wasn't hungry but I ordered the hotdog & I asked JJ if they could add grilled onions & the sauce on the side and they did. So delicious! JJ was so nice and on it! I would come again. Husband ordered T.A.B.S and it looked really good he didn't even give me a chance to take a good picture lol

There was ample seating. I was quickly greeted by the host, sat down, and the waitress attended me quickly. I received my Rueben sandwich with fries and my soda in a timely manner and it was hot and delicious. I had a reward for $15 off so my bill was $8. It was pretty basic and normal and no complaints here but nothing to wow me either.

A fairly decent meal at a reasonable price within the boundaries of the casino. I'm not surprised that the service was a little slow but with the current staffing levels we just going to have to deal with any delays. Food was delicious and I had leftovers for the next day.

The birria tacos here are the bomb . Goes good with a cold beer. The service is superb.

Ordered the Asian chicken salad TO GO and they mixed all the ingredients including the dressing. When I got to eating it, it was all soggy and had to throw it away. I used to cook for a living and knew better than to mix in the dressing for a to go order. Would have returned it but I already left. Really disappointed because it was an expensive $20 salad. What a waste.

A Sport Bar with great atmosphere and service! The food is not the fine dining experience, and it shouldn't be, but what it is, is a high quality sport bar food location. Both items my wife and I had tasted to our liking! Avras was our server and he was exceptional! Always keeping tabs for us and even assisted with changing the channel on a TV to the Dodgers even though Padres game was primarily broadcasted. Thanks for this!! He also went out of his way to remind us when the drawing would be so we didn't miss our name potentially being called and showed us where to see the list of names should we get curious. Overall, great experience and food! 5/5

Food was great! And service was great, our server JJ was very attentive and just did a great job. My mom got the Mac and cheese as a side and she really like it and I got the jalapeño pesto chicken sandwich and it was great. I would add more pesto sauce if I could. The fries were cooked perfectly and crispy. Loved also they had a giant tv playing the basketball game.

The worst. I assumed this was a nicer restaurant/sports bar. This is nothing other than a bingo hall food joint with the cleaning staff moving around your table like a shark. Food was NOT good (don't get the fish and chips).

We are regulars at Sycuan and this is our favorite food outlet. Sunday, Monday and Thursday are the best days. We love football and you can see it from anywhere you sit here. The food is served quickly and correctly. Nicole and Amelia are fav servers here. The burger of the month always pleases, so do all of the salads and appetizers. Theres a bone in wing special on Monday and Thursday during the NFL games. The cocktails are strong. We have been to every food venue at sycuan. This is the best, all around and pink Buddha is second. also can't go wrong at hangry's pizza.

Stiff drinks, good food, friendly staff. If you're at Sycuan you should stop in. It's right on the casino floor

We were at the casino on a UFC night and some of us wanted to check out the fight. This restaurant was the perfect place for that as they have a huge screen on one of the walls and multiple TVs throughout the restaurant. Since we had previously ate at Pink Buddha we weren't that hungry and only wanted drinks. We did order the Trash Can Nachos to snack on. I was not ready for the initial trash can presentation. They use a huge can (like the Costco size nacho cheese cans) to make the nachos. They load up the can with the nachos, cheese, sour cream and salsa. Once at the table the server lifts the can and all the nachos spill onto the tray that it's served on. The crisp on the chips were good. The salsa, guacamole and cheese. But they added what seemed to be pickled onions and that gave it a sweet taste that I was not expecting on the nachos. We ordered the SD Sunset, the margarita and a mock tail mojito turned alcoholic. The SD Sunset and margarita were good, but the mojito was a little bit on the sour side. Can't say much about the beer as it's... well beer. You know what you are getting there. Our server was super nice and checked up on us a couple of times. I say this as the place was busy due to the fight so for her to manage that on a busy night much more appreciated. All the restaurant staff were nice and helpful. I would def try again, but this time not order the nachos or the mock tail mojito turned alcoholic.

We go to Rank and File every time we're at Sycuan. They have great food and drinks and the bar staff is the best!

This review is for the drinks only, and Sally the bartender! Super nice even when she was the only one working and had several what seemed to be new employees picking up drinks to run to the tables who were super confused on beer/drink options. She was restocking/training/poring drinks and smiling at the same time! Sycuan seems very short staffed lately and she was probably the nicest employee I have met here. Thanks Sally!

I have been coming to Sycuan for a couple years now and I never miss this place when I come. The food is always spot on and so is the service thanks to Leyla. She always is happy and has a smile on her face. 10/10!

The atmosphere is great. The service is spectacular. And the food is what keeps me coming back . The wings, tenders, fries, and tacos A+ . Been here 4 Sundays in a row and not yet to have a bad experience or bad food

It's been 26 years, but we finally made it back to Sycuan. Things have changed around here since then. There's more of a Vegas feel about this place and it's a good thing! Wish I could say the same about their food. After losing at the slots, Hubby decided we were going to win this next round at dinner. Many places were closed on a Saturday around 4 pm, but found Rank and File open. This sports bar is located in the midst of Sycuan casino on their lower level. Very nice place with flat-screens everywhere you look. Seems like a flat screen was at almost every one of their booths. Our server, Makalia, was extremely nice and friendly and was on top of her game, even offering me a glass of club soda when she noticed I was wiping down a small stain on my top. She definitely gets five stars, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to dock 2 stars for their food. I had the meatloaf, while hubby ordered the short rib. I don't think I have to tell you that the meatloaf was dry and hard as a rock once you see the picture. Not only that, but it was burnt to a crisp. Hubby liked his short rib - no complaints there. It was tender and fall-off-the-bone delicious. For our appetizer, we had the half order of nachos. It was pretty huge for a half order and tasty, except the chips seemed a little off. The hubby and I both noticed how the tortilla chips were harder than your average chip. It was tough to chew and seemed almost like they were not fried well and undercooked. Overall, we liked the ambience of the place, but I'm not sure we'll be back. Unfortunately, hubby and I both agreed that I lost at the slots and at dinner.

Good comfort food. Alex was an exceptional server. He went above and beyond our expectations. Always made sure our drinks were full and made sure we had extra napkins. Such a pleasure to meet such a great worker. We will definitely come back.

Service was very slow even for a monday satdowm at 5:30 and didnt get my food till 6:09 I only ordered a brisket cali burrito it took them 39 minutes to get to my table which wouldnt have been an issue had the burrito bean cooked on both sides they literally forgot to toast the other side the cheese on the burrito wasnt even melted infact the only part thas was warm was the meat gave me bubble guts the whole day tho lesson learned wont be coming back here to eat

Atmosphere: gets quite loud especially when it's placed open faced in the middle or the casino. Again, this is a sports bar so it's expected. Amenities: Has a pool table for anyone to play while they wait for their meal or those who just want to grab a drink and play a couple rounds of ball. Seating: They have lounge chairs, tables and booths to choose from. If you decide to sit at the bar, they also have a lot machines to play while you grab a drink and watch the game or listen to live music playing onsite. FOOD: Appetizer: We started off with the onion ring basket. Those were so scrumptious, crispy, and light. They were fried to perfection, and the ranch that came with it clearly was made from Scratch. We also ordered the spinach artichoke dip. It had a crispy layer of cheese on top, was very creamy, and had a hint of citrus lemon flavor that touched all the right tastebuds. The dip is served with fresh pita bread toasted, and was very soft but crispy around the edges. Almost felt like chips, but also got that bread vibe. Entrees: We got two entrees. The first being the burger, to which we upgraded to a double. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't be juicy or be one of those store bought frozen patty type of burgers but I was wrong. The burger was cooked to the exact perfect temperature and was dripping all over the place just like a burger should. The second entree we got was the crispy bacon chicken sandwich, which was almost panini like. I enjoyed the spicy pesto, with the crispy bacon. The fries were also seasoned and super addicting even when we couldn't really breathe. Drink: They have a huge variety selection of beers and wine and a full bar. We got the sculpin. It was served in a cold glass which was a bonus. No one likes a warm beer. Service: Service was okay, but it could of been that there were two servers left, and the restaurant randomly filled up 30 minutes before closing due to a power outage that occurred. Server over all was patient kind and did try to help with what to select when I was ordering food. Overall, it's a nice area to lounge, eat and drink. I recommend to anyone in town or in the area.

My wife and I were at sycuan halloween weekend when I got a really low "DIABETIC" blood sugar, my wife informed the bartender who promptly gave us a coke then a manager squeezed us in a extremely packed house to eat. There we had a waiter named ALEX who was receptive to my situation and talked to the kitchen who RUSHED out food as quickly as possible. All I can say is extremely pro and impressive service. Thanks again! P.s. the food was excellent.

Not bad. Not too many choices out here but it's your typical American sports bar menu. The ambiance was fine, loud music playing, right on the casino floor. The food was pretty good. The service was great. The menu only offers salads, burgers, sandwiches, etc...and ribs. The drinks weren't bad. Bon appetite!

Our favorite local spot for food, drinks, and fun. Our go-to to bring family and friends. We love the quality and variety of the menu. Whether we're watching a fight or game, listening to live music, or pre-gaming before playing the slots, the staff is always friendly and fun. Our favorite bartender is Leyla - she always makes it fun and makes us feel like we're her #1 guests.

We needed to find a place to watch the New Orleans Saints game and I love that you can pick a booth with a private tv and they will put on the game of your choosing. As for the food, the hands down winner are the boneless wings. Garlic cheese fries also ridiculously good. I tried a pesto jalapeno sandwich which is more like a panini. It wasn't bad but the burger was definitely better. Portion sizes are huge so if you want appetizers too, be aware you will probably need a too go bag. Very friendly service also.

We enjoyed hanging out at the bar during our stay at Sycuan. Leyla was wonderful and the band was excellent. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our food! Recommend the Buffalo wings, super good and not breaded! Seemed like many booth seats had a tv at the booth! My man was stoked to watch the padres game while eating and waiting for food, makes the wait that much doper. Also, I wish I would have gotten the name of our server, she worked 4/18 on the night shift and she noticed us talkin crap about not having the padres game on at the tables but they had golf. Before we knew it the Padres were on and she mentioned she heard us loves that!!! I am so mad I can't remember the drank my man ordered for me think it was San Diego sunshine... idk but it was bomb

$1 wings on Wednesday for college basketball. Just had some great service from Magalay! She checked on us the moment we sat down at the bar machines. She was on it and offered suggestions. Food was great. Cant wait to come back. Thank you Magalay for excellent service! Angelina was great too!

Rank & File is a restaurant. I went there to listen and dance to the band that is playing inside. We waited 20 minutes by signing up for them to text us when there was a table available. They put us in an area that wasn't near the area where the band or dance floor was. My fiancé kept going to check if there was a table in the area we were trying to get to with the band. Eventually, about half an hour after we were seated, some one we knew figured out that there was a table who had people who had already left. Then we had to go and get us seated at the empty table. They shouldn't have a dance floor and dance bands in an area that is shared by a restaurant and doesn't discriminate between the two.

I love it here! The staff is so friendly and professional. I frequently go for date nights or birthdays for my friends. I think one of the bartenders, Leyla is so sweet and she always makes the best mixed drinks! The decor is also very cool and sets the tone for a fun atmosphere. You have to try the tacos! I always look forward to going back!

I really thought that Sycuan would be upgraded on all levels after the extensive remodeling and millions spent. I mean they killed a really good sports bar that they had. (Game Day Sports) One would think, with these upgrades they'd be offering a more quality level dining experience. Not the case here as we thought it was mostly average. Ordered fish and chips and they had that defrosted fish taste that was far from fresh obviously. Tons of batter too. The buffalo chicken sand was essentially a simple breaded chicken patty with buffalo sauce on it. Think Jack in the Box value chicken sandwich with Frank's Red Hot buffalo sauce. Yes you can do this at home..! It could be that during this pandemic, things are not the same. I'm sure we'll eventually give them more chances by ordering different menu items, but we're still trying many of the food choices. On the bright side, they have many good beers on draft and TVs with live sports. There is no shortage of food options that we continue to explore here now at Sycuan, and hopefully here they can improve with some attention to detail.

Great food and drinks with all you can watch sports. Rolled Tacos and cheeseburger sliders were the bomb. If you don't like the buns, they can make them lettuce wrapped.

Service was horrible and smoke all around the bar with food being served. Should never have smoke around food. One server was horrible and just had a bad attitude like she was trying to make a point. Very immature, for sure

My wife and I stayed in Sycuan hotel and we decided to eat at Rank & File. The food is okay burger and sandwiches. My complaint was we got there and we ordered. The food took so long (more than 45 minutes) even though there was not a lot of people eating. My wife was getting so upset, I tried to calm her down. When the food arrived the food was not hot, my soup was Luke warm. The server is no where to be found, had to track him down by walking around. When we are finished he wasn't even around to check in us. I finally found him and wave, he acknowledged, but instead of going to us, he stop by another booth and talk with them, then disappeared. Waited again and got my check "finally" ask for a to go box and a small container for my sauce. He came back with just the food box and no container. I had to stand again just to look for him. Overall the experience was mediocre and definitely not going back.

The Buffalo wings are magnificent 5 stars, however the Mac and cheese are 3 stars no flavor, the caesar salad 2 stars the yellow and light green part of iceberg lettuce with some browning ,nachos with ground beef 5 stars they were phenomenal, the French fries 4 stars very crisp with flavor, the fish 3 stars they were tasty but a tad bit to salty,customer service was really good rounding off to an overall 4 stars.
