Best shawarma in London. I visit whenever I am in the area. Service could be better but quality of food makes up for it. Highly recommended.

After a long night of poker at the Vic, I often look forward to a Shawarma from Helen’s. A friend recommended this place, so thought we’d try it. We ordered 3 Chicken Shawarmas, and I asked the guy preparing the wraps to leave out the chilli sauce for mine. He replied “no problem” then asked if the other 2 wraps wanted chilli, my friend said yes. Upon giving us the 3 wraps, I ask which is the one without chilli? He says “they all have chilli”, and I replied that I asked for mine without, and he said “no, you said chilli in all of them”. Again, I explained that I told him no chilli sauce in mine, literally 2 minutes ago, and he replied “not my problem”. Maybe that’s what he meant earlier when I asked for no chilli sauce… “not my problem” rather than “no problem”. Unprofessional and rude staff! I saw one of the chefs wiping sweat from his forehead and then gripping up a Pita with the same hand. The amount of chicken given was pitiful and it felt like I was eating a vegan wrap. Super oily, but I guess I saved some Carmex that night as I left the restaurant with greased up lips. Won’t be coming back. I’ll stick to Cafe Helen!

Always ordered the take away, and I NEVER, been disappointed! Food and taste and delivery are always consistent! ! I love the chicken liver that they have, honestly the best! Delivery guys are always lovely too

Extremely good quality shawarma wrap. Bread/roll is not too thick or thin Chicken is high quality, no smell or weird taste. Sauces are very tasty.

Best tasting shwarmas around although their portions have gone smaller.

Nice shawarma they serve, we have chicken shawarma and mutton shawarma plates

Food is usually good. Can be a bit ropey at times. Depends who’s working there. Unfortunately the older guy stalls the place, he had no interest in taking my order. I was there ready to be served for a good 15 seconds on the other side of the counter. No other customers. He see me, doesn’t say hello or acknowledge my existence and continues doing his own thing. I left. I’ll take my money elsewhere thanks

I'm still searching for the best shawerma in London and this is the closest option. Juicy chicken with some flavour, nice thumia -garlic- sauce. However, the bread was not that fresh. Quite pricey like any other shawerma price I tried here but the size is big and fulfilling.
