Solid cookies - oatmeal especially but all I tried are very good (ginger; chocolate chocolate chip); their carrot cake is moist, very sweet, lots of nuts, very good cream cheese frosting; small but clean space with some tables and a narrow counter around the room so you can stand and eat your goodies too. I’ll be going back for more cookies!

I've only ever gotten cake slices from here and they are the best! They are moist, soft, fluffy and full of flavor. I have not been disappointed at all. The icing is really good too. I have had a latte from here and it was great.

Delicious and unique flavor option. I had a passion fruit jalapeno sorbet and a mint chocolate nib and it was fantastic. The jalapeno was noticable but the passion fruit sweetness wiped out the burn. They had a rhubarb and a few other flavors. Also a chocolate and peanut butter cake. Pastries and cookies. In a quiet and super nice hidden alley. Highly recommended.

Great customer service! Ordered a custom cakes just under their 48 hour deadline and it was beautiful!! Worked with us over the phone to create an amazing cake for a nautical themed bridal shower. Delicious vanilla cake with orange blossom frosting, a huge hit! Thank you!

Such a pretty place to be! Loved the fancy desserts with the looks. Had a double chocolate pastry and turned out to be super delicious and super yumm. Was quite large as well.

I've had the personal Carrot Cake, the Malted Chocolate Cake, and two slices of the Lemon & Rhubarb - which is absolutely to die for! A few days ago I bought a cinnamon roll for me and my friend -- and loved them! I was hoping to get by there today for a few slices but wasn't able to at lunch -- so will have to grab a few next week! A great addition to the neighborhood just a block from my office!

The cookies were very plain - oatmeal chocolate chip was standard fare, but the double chocolate cookie was a little burnt. The first hot chocolate we got had spoiled milk in it. They remade it and it ended up being pretty good (but nothing special) after a packet of sugar. If I come back, I think I'll try the cakes instead.

I've had only good experiences at this unexpected, non-chain bakery on Palmer Alley: house-made cakes, great coffee (La Colombe!) and friendly service. They use high-quality ingredients (you can see the shredded ginger in the ginger cake), and you can watch the bakers at work behind a glass partition. They don't pretend to be anything other than a high-end, high-quality American cakery/sweets/coffee destination -- but this is as far removed from Starbucks as Ruth's Chris is from McDonald's. Only recommendation for change? More chairs!
