Rasoterra

This place has many great reviews, but the food wasn't exactly our cup of tea. The appetiser was nice, but both starters were just not for us. The main dishes were nice and tasty, but nothing extraordinary. The desserts were nice. The staff was superb and the wine was great. 3 stars, because although the food was OK, we wouldn't come back here or recommend it to our friends.

Our best dinner in Barcelona by far- a great find for someone who appreciates vegan fine food! The food was tasty and the staff were really friendly. The waiter was knowledgeable about the ingredients in each dish and happy to tell us them. I wish they had a recipe book as I would love to replicate (or at least try!) when I’m in my own kitchen! It was priced at about €35 for a set menu with several choices with each course. The waiter explained the menu well and with each dish brought out gave a full description. I had a great vermouth too! We left feeling very happy, due to great food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Thank you!!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with kindness and warmth. Like I was being invited into an old friend’s home for dinner. An old friend who had disappeared into the mountains for years to refine his craft of making absolutely drop-dead-delicious vegan dishes. Hell, even the napkins were inviting. From the chef-chosen appetizer, the starter, entree, to the unexpectedly complex dessert, this was a world-class dining experience. The menu was very clear, and the server also helped clarify any questions I had about the dishes. Each dish was plated beautifully, and served with an explanation. The timing of the dishes was perfect. I felt like I had just finished my last bite, had a moment to reflect on the thoughtfully layered flavors, take a sip of my delicious cocktail, as next plate arrived with grace. Did I mention this entire experience was only €32? Outrageous dining experience for the price. Do not hesitate to enjoy a meal at Rasoterra, even if vegan food is not usually your thing. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Why 4 stars for atmosphere? I thought the lights could have been 15% dimmer, and yes, I’m that insufferable. But a 5+ star dining experience. I will be back!

What a fabulous restaurant, the care taken to source the best ingredients locally and to cook them with real care and skill was exceptional. The individual flavours of each dish sang and the combination of textures great. I would thoroughly recommend eating here for the friendly staff and fabulous food. The best vegetarian/vegan meal I have ever had!

What a gem! From a warm welcome to this calm cozy restaurant. The menu options were so interesting, innovative at the same time as traditional and local... Loved it. The food portions are good and the flavours are fantastic! Will be back for sure and definitely recommend it to any vegetarian up for a bit more original offer

We were a party of three and we ordered different dishes for every course. Everything was extraordinarily good and many of the dishes such as the one with artichokes were extremely inventive. The music is soft and mellow so you can talk to the people you are with. The staff is very friendly.

The Food was amazing. You can taste the locality and love for the food. It’s great to find a vegan restaurant on this level. All the best for the restaurant in the next years and hopefully till soon.

Incredible food, lovely atmosphere, and amazing service. Came here twice during my stay and loved it both times. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They helped me pick a wines and described the food in great detail. Highly recommend!!
