This is in my top 3 meals I’ve ever had, alongside The Waterside Inn and Ossiano. Professional, personable, courteous, understated, beautiful, and above all else, unbelievably tasty.
From the moment you walk in, the restaurant oozes respect and decades of fine tuning.
The food is without doubt some of the best you can eat. From the small amuse bouches to the starters, fish, mains and dessert, every section of the tasting menu leaves you in awe at the presentation and flavours.
We came in February 2026 and the scallops, pike perch, A5 Wagyu and pigeon were all standout, and that doesn’t detract from any of the other dishes, which were all sublime. Usually you will have one or two dishes that stand out, so this tells you of the quality and the standards expected here.
All the staff, from the sommelier, to the floor, to the kitchen, operate at the highest standard and really know their stuff.
Overall, I can’t recommend Palace enough. It is truly a special place on the culinary merry go round.
