"Take in magical views over the harbour from the 10th floor of this modernist building, constructed in 1952 for the Olympic Games. Beautifully delicate modern dishes feature on a multi-course tasting menu packed with well-balanced flavours. These are presented both by the chefs and the top-notch serving team." - Michelin Inspector

2 michelin stars well deserved. No weak links in this edition of the menu. Amazing non-alcoholic beverage pairings too.

While Ravintola Palace boasts two Michelin stars, our experience fell short of expectations. The food, though packs a lot of flavour, was a little too salty for some dishes. Yes, they took the time to explain each dish, but the service felt impersonal and cold - perhaps a Finnish trait, but disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber. What truly soured the experience was watching other diners receive special treatment, complete with gift bags, while we were overlooked. This created an uncomfortable feeling of being “second-class” guests. For the amount paid, the value simply wasn’t there. While the cuisine showed skill, the overall experience left a bitter taste. For the astronomical price, one expects more than just good food - you want an exceptional, memorable evening. Unfortunately, Palace failed to deliver on that front.

Food is like art and unique experience, but not quite as tasty as I expected. Too tricky, such as having excellent meet cocered by truffle chips

The Palace is the best restaurant in Finnish history. The service is fearless, relaxed, and professional, the food is worthy of three Michelin stars, the interior design is elegant and understated, and the views are stunning. I might know a little about what I'm talking about, as I've dined at Mirazur around 10 times, including twice when it was rated the best restaurant in the world. President Stubb could forgo attending sports events and hugging unsuccessful finnish national athletes and instead dine at the Palace once a month and embrace Eero Vottonen — one of Finland’s most significant artists.

Ravintola Palace in Helsinki is one of my favorite dining spots. The elegant atmosphere, coupled with stunning views, sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. The meat dishes are a highlight—expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The attentive and knowledgeable staff make the experience even more special. For a sophisticated and memorable meal, I always recommend Ravintola Palace.

Everything meets the Michelins 2-stars expectations. We love the food, services and location. The menu we had was Japanese inspired Nordic cuisine, very smooth experience.

We spent three hours savoring the chef’s menu at this restaurant. Interestingly, the waitress handed us a menu at the beginning, explaining that we could either look at it or preserve the element of surprise. We chose to keep the mystery alive by not peeking at the menu, and it turned out to be the right decision. Each course brought its own delightful surprise. The true brilliance of the menu lay in its thoughtful progression; the dishes were unpretentious, simple, and straightforward. The chef's mastery was evident in the sauces, so much so that I found myself tempted to lick the remaining sauce off the plate several times. The final main course, roasted quail, was served with bread, which finally allowed me to mop up every last bit of sauce on the plate. The non-alcoholic drink pairings were mostly crafted fruit juices sourced from various countries, with only one drink made in-house. It resembled white wine but was actually filtered tomato juice.

This is easily the best restaurant in all of Finland. I was amazed to find this level of culinary excellence in Helsinki. And I will most likely be back whenever they change their menu because this was superb. Good job to the team!
