Broken Shaker Now in the Hands of Pebble Bar and Wildair Teams | Eater NY

"On the Lower East Side, Ray’s Bar has been part of that group’s portfolio, and Wildair later partnered with the team to develop a menu for Ray’s expansion to Brooklyn." - Melissa McCart

The NYC Bar Hit List: Great New Bars In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"One of the more sceney bars in Manhattan has landed in Greenpoint, where it’ll likely become one of the the more infamous bars in Brooklyn, too. This faux dive, owned in part by Nicholas Braus (Succession’s Cousin Greg), has taken over a cursed spot on the corner of McCarren Park, and the trifecta of espresso martinis, a pool table, and a disco ball may very well undo the curse. The bar is a near carbon copy of the original, and if you like your martini with a side of potential celebrity sighting, come here for an after-dinner drink and a late-night fried bologna sandwich." - Bryan Kim, Will Hartman, Willa Moore, Sonal Shah

NYC’s New Restaurant Openings - New York - The Infatuation

"Another business is trying to make a 2-Gregg Tomelette at the “cursed” 905 Lorimer Street in Greenpoint. Ray’s Bar, the Lower East Side celeb-spotting dive that’s owned by Succession star Nicholas Braun, now has a second location on the corner of McCarren Park. You can expect cocktails and beers, and probably lines around the block for the first couple of weeks. We recently checked out Ray’s, and added it to the Bar Hit List." - Will Hartman, Willa Moore

The Best Bars In Greenpoint - New York - The Infatuation

"Ray’s is a three-minute walk from Bernie’s, which means that after mozzarella sticks at the sceniest restaurant in Greenpoint, you can go have a nightcap at the sceniest bar in Greenpoint. The second location of this faux dive bar looks exactly like its Lower East Side counterpart, with curved booths, wood-paneled walls, and a disco ball. Someone who could be distantly related to Timothée Chalamet will make your espresso martini, and on your seventh sip you might feel emboldened to make a name for yourself at the pool table." - Bryan Kim, Neha Talreja, Kenny Yang, Willa Moore

Ray's Brooklyn - Review - Greenpoint - New York - The Infatuation

"At Ray’s, you can be in the presence of a disco ball, and if you’re lucky, you might see a celebrity, or at the very least, a micro-influencer. The faux dive bar has been one of the sceniest spots on the Lower East Side since it opened in 2019. And this second location in Greenpoint loses nothing in translation—it looks exactly the same. Claim a curved booth in the wood-paneled space, and then have some pre-dinner drinks next to a bust of Elvis, encased in glass. Or come after dinner near McCarren Park, and grab a seat at the bar. Someone who could be distantly related to Timothée Chalamet will make your espresso martini, and on your seventh sip you might work up the courage to make a name for yourself at the pool table. photo credit: Weston Kloefkorn" - Willa Moore
