The 21 Best Restaurants In Marseille - Marseille - The Infatuation

"Walk by sandwich shop Razzia on any weekday and you’ll wonder: “Does anyone in Marseille work?” And the answer is … kind of. Razzia is in La Plaine, a neighborhood full of creatives whose flex hours allow them to sit in the sun with a crisp glass of cider and a sandwich on bread from the neighboring boulangerie, Pain Pan. The menu changes all the time, but a recent favorite involved caramelized endives marinated with pear and yellow wine vinegar, gorgonzola, figs, hazelnuts, arugula, and red cabbage, all on a baguette with red peppercorns and parsley oil. Eat in for some good people-watching, or order them to go for a hike in the Calanques, with a honey-orange flour financier or dark chocolate-praline cookie to keep you going." - sophie friedman

vegetarian sandwich was out of this world in terms of freshness and flavor. iced latte was just ok, would only recommend for the sandwiches. not much seating so take it to go to the nearby plaza!

Hell of a sandwich. Goes on sale 12pm lunch. Sold out by 2. Get in line and cross your fingers. P.S consider sharing. It’s freaking huge.

Love the place and ambience! The stuff is extremely friendly, coffee is one of the best ij the city and vegan meal is fantastic (and huge!)

Excellent breakfast sandwich. Excellent coffee. Excellent dessert bread. Kind staff. Spoke English. Seating is a tiny bit limited but an otherwise delightful experience.

Great sandwich place in « Quartier du Panier » not necessarily the most beautiful part of Marseille but very talented chef and very when it comes to hand made tasty sandwiches

Razzia is everything you’d want from a brunch/lunch spot: friendly, easy-going staff, relaxed atmosphere, impeccable sandwiches full of flavor and wholesome goodness, good choice of cold drinks and great coffee. I would love to give it a 5 star and I believe it would deserve it on most days, however the lunch plate had a bit underwhelming chickpea stew on it, I can only assume it was a one time slip from the chef because everything else was on point. Highly recommend. Lunch starts at 12, grab a great coffee with a slice of cake if you’re around before that time.

Always super busy but that doesn’t make it a negative as it must mean their food is amazing. Unfortunately due to it being a social media sensation, you literally can’t find a seat and the queue is always huge even for a coffee. However the staff are super friendly!
