The Best Happy Hours in Denver | Eater Denver

"Far from reckless, the happy hour menu at this popular Asian spot in Capitol Hill is well-thought out, not to mention generous. Offered from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and all night Monday, it features a variety of snacks that top out at $7 — lobster rangoon bao, roast duck-stuffed crispy rolls, and wontons filled with snow crab and rock shrimp among them — while wine, beer, sake, and cocktails like the jackfruit-flavored Crouching Tiger Hidden Vodka are priced at $9 or less." - Ruth Tobias

The Best Seattle Restaurants With Heated and Covered Outdoor Patios | Eater Seattle

"The Central District’s Vietnamese street food and cocktail destination Reckless Noodle House offers covered outdoor seating with fishing nets hung from the ceiling. Some of the sides are covered in clear plastic to reduce the wind and keep in as much heat as possible. While the dishes here are all excellent, the mala braised beef cheek noodle with pickled Fresno chili peppers, fermented mustard greens, and thick, chewy wheat noodles is one of the best-constructed noodle dishes in the city." - Jade Yamazaki Stewart

Reckless Noodle House Review - Central District - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Updated January 4th, 2022 Sometimes you have a day that just feels wonderful from start to finish. You wake up and notice your hair is looking particularly good, and then, on your way to work, you realize you’ve finally finished the punch card from the expensive coffee place down the street. You wrap up a big project and your boss says you can take it easy and leave a little early. You don’t hit any traffic as you take to the open road with your favorite song on the radio, and no one even sees your awkward car dance moves as you drive off towards home. A meal at Reckless Noodle House, a Vietnamese fusion spot in the Central District, is just like this: thoroughly enjoyable, from the homemade ginger beer mules you’ll drink at the beginning to the sticky salted duck fat caramels you’ll eat on your way out. photo credit: Nate Watters The menu here is excellent pretty much across the board. The starters—like caramelized pork belly fresh rolls, spicy papaya salad, and crispy duck rolls wrapped in lettuce leaves—are fantastic and satisfying without being too heavy (they also go really well with the aforementioned homemade ginger beer cocktails). But the entrees are even better. The fried rice with turmeric, coconut, chili jam, basil, and cubes of pastrami, for instance, is one of those things you never knew you needed in your life until it showed up. Then there’s the wheat noodle dish with braised beef cheek, Sichuan chili oil, and sour mustard greens—it’s so tasty that you may find yourself wanting to put physical distance between yourself and anyone who tries to steal a bite. There are occasional small missteps, like a five-spiced duck confit that’s on the dry side, but considering the overall quality of the food, these are easy to forget. The space is small and dark-ish, with hanging lanterns, decorative empty coffee bean sacks, and a whole wall covered in fish jawbones. It would be great for a small group dinner, or even a birthday, although given the size of the space, you might need to have multiple staggered meals to get all your friends involved (we’re assuming you have a lot). The outdoor, dog-friendly patio is also one of our favorite places to post up when we’re meeting our friend who brings their rambunctious lab wherever they go. After is all said and done, even your wonderful, good-hair-and-free-coffee-filled day has to come to an end. But luckily for all of us, you can have an awesome plate of food at Reckless Noodle House any time you want. Preferably several, actually. Food Rundown Caramelized Pork Fresh Roll The rice paper can get a little gummy, and there are a lot of noodles stuffed into this roll—so there’s a solid chance it will fall apart all over you and the table. But the caramelized pork belly has such great flavor that you won’t care. Especially when drizzled with the accompanying spicy fish sauce. Roast Duck Crispy Roll A mandatory starter for the table, alongside the fresh roll. The crispy rolls here are filled with scrambled egg, cabbage, wood ear mushroom, carrot, bamboo, and roasted duck. These excellent things come with lettuce leaves, shaved scallions, and a sambal hoisin dip. The idea is to wrap the lettuce and scallions around the roll, then dunk in the hoisin. Papaya Salad For a lighter appetizer, the papaya salad with tomato, bird’s eye chili, lime, dried shrimp, peanuts, and fish sauce is a great choice—as long as you can handle a lot of spice. Curry Vermicelli Bowl Hot coconut curry broth with vermicelli noodles, yukon gold potatoes, eggplant, green beans, carrots, scallions, and cilantro. You can order it with shrimp, beef, or tofu—vegetarians, this is your order. You’re going to be happy. Wok Seared Turmeric Rockfish A tasty piece of fish with a turmeric glaze, topped with dill, fennel, lemongrass, fresh herbs, and galangal—all over a bed of thin noodles. Take full advantage of the bowl of flavorful toasted chili-lime fish sauce that comes on the side. Ma La Braised Beef Cheek Noodle This is the best thing on the menu. It’s a hunk of tender, perfectly seasoned braised beef cheek on top of fresh wheat noodles in a Sichuan sauce. While it may sound like you’re asking for a mouth fire when you order this, the spice is balanced, the sauce-coated noodles are delicious, and you may be tempted to come back tomorrow and eat it again. Reckless Fried Rice Coconut-turmeric fried rice topped with basil, chili jam, fresh cucumber, an egg, and the real star: cubed pastrami. It’s slightly spicy, and if you’re not in the mood to go out, it would also be a very good thing to eat in your pajamas on the couch. Wherever you are, it’s a must-order. Five Spice Duck While there are better entrees on the menu, the slow-cooked duck confit is still a very good option. It comes with turmeric coconut rice, baby bok choy, and braised shiitake mushrooms. The meat is ever so slightly dry, but the brown sauce that comes with it fixes everything, especially when it seeps into the rice. Salted Duck Fat Caramels You’re going to want at least one of these after your meal. They’re studded with salt flakes and are that ideal blend of sticky, soft, and chewy." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
First time in Denver and we found this amazing place. Everything was amazing. The food is delicious, everything had umami Flavor. I recommend to try the Papaya salad, the Bo La lot grilles beef in betel beaf. The chicken wings are big and delicious, too.

Google
Get these noodles! Was craving something unique and noodley and the beef cheek noodles at Reckless did not disappoint! The shrimp crackers with old bay and lime juice were great, and the pistachio ice cream tapioca fruit coconut shavings desert I was skeptical of at first but the flavors blended together really well! Love how creative these guys are with food and won't break your bank like some places. Come here to try something new, exciting, and delicious!

Google
Cool place, great location/service, and unique food. Definitely the type of fusion that works. I appreciate when the menu is pared back enough to ensure everything is done right. Really enjoyed this visit & will be back!

Google
Place had unique decor and vibey amtosphere! Food was fantastic. Our server had the worst attitude I have literally ever seen. I'd come back though. Bartender seemed super cool.

Google
Food and decor is amazing. Great place to go for some yummy Vietnamese food. The servers are not the best. Had to go up to the bar to ask for a cup for sake and had to ask for another half order of one of the apps because only 4 pieces came and there was 5 people at the table. Otherwise great food. If you are expecting cold noodles, ask the servers before ordering. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! Definitely make a reservation day of.

Google
First time and I'll definitely go back! Ordered the Reckless fried rice with prawns and the blistered greenbeans. Yum! They have 2 housemade hot sauces to try too. Definitely could have been much spicier for me, but I was not opposed to using their hot sauce whatsoever!

Google
At the northeast corner of Sherman and 8th there lies a Vietnamese restaurant that's slinging positive vibes and even better food. The beef cheek noodles are fantastic and maybe one of the best dishes in the neighborhood. The drinks are also stiff so you're getting your money's worth.

Google
Recommend the Saigon shrimp! Very good. I got a happy hour item and was charged $1 more than the price listed on the menu. Odd since it's a QR code menu.

Yelp
I am so glad someone told me about this place, because it's really cute and delicious! My pal and I came here for happy hour, and the staff was really attentive. We each got a rice dish and a drink. Everything was great and the vibe is perfect for anything from a date to a catch-up with a pal. It's also a good in-between spot if someone lives north and you're south. There's a few parking spots, but give yourself time to find one nearby.

Yelp
Why didn't i come to this restaurant sooner? I mean really!! I had heard about this place a good handful of times before today and had always wanted to try it. That day finally came. Glad! I like the location. It's not quite downtown. And it's not quite Cherry Creek either. Parking can throw you a bit of a challenge and yet you can manage. It's quite spacious inside. The ambience matches the kind of dishes they serve: Asian fusion with some small plates and family size dishes (mainly fried rice and noodles) to share. What I suggest though is, definitely go here during the Happy Hour. HH menu is not massive but each plate is well portioned. Here are what we ordered (from the HH menu) -Papaya Salad: Totally and absolutely get it! It's got some kick in it but it's manageable even for someone with very limited tolerance to spicy foods like me. Lightly dressed with some tangy dressing with a bit of sweetness. The papaya is cut like noodles. Tastes so healthy. Great dish to start your meal. -Baby Bok Choy: A staple item in Asian cuisine. This one, too, has got some kick in it. Not mushy but not too crunchy either. Perfectly cooked with good seasonings. -Lobster Rangoon Bao: I can easily eat at least a few of these (we shared one.) To be frank, I didn't even need the accompanying sweet and sour sauce. You can eat it as is. The lobster cream inside almost tasted like a sweet paste/cream. Here is what we ordered from the regular menu: -Field Green Fried Rice with Goji Berries I've never had fried rice that had goji berries mixed in it so I found this quite unique. The way I consume goji berries is to put it in my overnight oats. I had no clue that goji berries can be ingredients in a fried rice until today (I guess I was today years old!) This opened up my eyes for creativity. Thanks for the idea, Reckless Noodles! I appreciated our efficient waitress (we didn't get her name. On the receipt, it says "your server was Reckless Server". LOL! She was recklessly walking around the floor handling more than several different table. Like I said, she was recklessly efficient! Let's not forget. He had an IPA (draft) which I got to sip a little bit (HH price so it was $7.) Although the beer selection (tap) is not massive, they do have some quality ones on draft. Another place has been added to my favorite restaurant list tonight. I can confidently recommend this place to friends and family for a unique dining experience.

Yelp
The food, the service, the ambiance. It was FANTASTIC. I ordered the aviation cocktail and I messed up. The amazing bartender told me it was perfumy and I didn't listen. It was good, but not for me. HOWEVER, everything else was amazing and honestly it is in my top 5 places of all time! The kicker was Monday is all day happy hour. We didn't know this but gladly ordered almost everything on the HH menu! Duck crispy rolls, steamed spicy wontons, lobster bao, crispy pork fresh roll, wok fried green beans, everything was so so so yummy. For an entree we got the beef cheek noodle dish and it stole the show. We even tried the Vietnamese coffee creme brulee and it was DELICIOUS. I can't wait to go back, not just for the food but the bartender was awesome and made our experience 12/10.

Yelp
Everything was on point at Reckless Noodle! We really liked that we were able to join the waitlist online. We ended up running a little behind on our next event so we ended up sitting at the bar instead. We basically did family style and ordered a bunch of different plates and all shared it. It was so delicious and I loved the vibe of the whole restaurant. The food was phenomenal and those were the best green beans I've ever had. I can't wait to go back on my next visit to Denver.

Yelp
Very delicious Asian fusion food with beautiful modern Asian restaurant vibe. Strongly recommend this restaurant. Service was good. Food was very delicious. Parking is a bit inconvenience with paid street parking.

Yelp
I went to Reckless Noodle House on a Friday evening with a friend for dinner. The ambiance was nice--dimly lit and cozy, and surprisingly not busy at all for a Friday night. I had high hopes for this place after reading all the rave reviews, but unfortunately, it just didn't live up to the hype for me. We ordered the Tamarind Seafood Udon for me and the Papaya Salad to share. The udon was... underwhelming. The broth tasted watered down, and the squid was slightly undercooked, which threw me off. Also, I couldn't tell if it was meant to be served hot or cold because it arrived lukewarm. It just didn't hit the spot. The Papaya Salad had a nice crunch, but I felt like it was missing something--more spice, more lime, just more flavor in general. It wasn't bad, but it didn't blow me away either. Overall, it was just an okay experience. Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes, but based on this visit, I wouldn't rush back.

Yelp
went for HH date night 4-6p, cocktails only $8 and some good small plates. I got the mule and bf got the aviation (gin drink), both liked them a lot. They make their own ginger beer so it wasn't as sweet as some mules (which I liked). Food in order of how much we liked it: - spicy wontons - Vietnamese wings (sweet) - lobster fried rice (some good chunks of lobster in there) - vermicelli bun bowl (was good but pork belly soft rather than crispy, next time would swap the protein for prawns instead - duck eggrolls (didn't have as much flavor as we were expecting?) next time would swap this out for the papaya salad. Overall we had a great time, service was good, liked the laid back vibe. We are both Asian so while we liked it, it was definitely fusion/geared towards non-Asians, and would go other places for authentic south East Asian food ;) but still worth a try. Good date spot

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and we ordered the lobster fried rice and the $35 set meal (includes one appetizer, one entree and dessert). The $35 was a pretty good deal for the three items. Keep in mind it's a fusion restaurant so you may not see a lot of authentic Thai dishes. Portions are good and I enjoyed the green beans! Fried rice and the noodles were delicious, not nothing spectacular. Easy street parking near by and great ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered to go and the food was still delicious! I got the Ma La Braised Beef Cheek Noodle and Papaya Salad (mild). The beef was super tender and just melted in your mouth! I can see why this dish is a must try. The noodles were perfect and not overly soft or chewy. I did think that it needed some veggies in the dish but ordering the papaya salad on the side worked out! It was my favorite and I'm glad I got it! Be careful if you can't handle spices very well. This dish is spicy, even ordering it 'mild'. Will be back to dine in to order some other popular dishes and check out their happy Hour specials!

Yelp
This place is awesome! Super cool ambiance inside, great decor, cool bar --check out the mermaids on the ceiling! Happy hour until 6pm every day! Even some fun bites on the happy hour menu. They have some really good Vietnamese food, we had wings, bao bun, spring rolls and beef cheek noodles . Such a great spot! U will love it!

Yelp
My husband is not a fan of Vietnamese food but lately I've been making an effort to dine at quality Vietnamese restaurants to change his view - Reckless noodles is one such place! Their preparations are so flavourful and delectable. Service was great, our server was so sweet and kept checking on us. And oh! My husband is a fan now! He wants to go back to Reckless - I love it!! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Mai N.

Yelp
I ordered the reckless fried rice and it was so flavorful, the pork belly was so tender and cooked perfectly The atmosphere is really nice and had a jungle like aesthetic. We sat at the bar and the food took around 20 mins. We also came in one a Thursday night at 7 and we got the last 2 seats at the bar so this place can get pretty busy for dinner
google avatar

YooJin Y.

Yelp
Service was lovely and the inside is chill vibes - dark ambiance with a bar area with lots of lights! Also a busy and bustling place! The food was alright. The caramelized prawns were 10/10. The rest is very much a fusion of Vietnamese food that is just okay!
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
Made a pit stop for dinner and was excited to try something new. There's plenty of street parking around the restaurant which is always a plus. When we walked in, I loved their interior and how they decorated the place. It's very trendy where you can dress up or down. The restaurant itself isn't huge but has a decent bar area which we sat. They had a good selection of beers including Asian beers. Their menu was easy to read and wasn't overwhelming with choices which I loved. I ordered their bun bowl and my friend had their fried rice. The service was quick which I enjoyed. I was a bit disappointed in my meal with their portion size. Although served in a big bowl, there wasn't much food in it. I wish they provided more egg rolls and tofu in my bowl. For the price, I just expected a little more. It's definitely a place to go for the vibes, I haven't tried their other meals yet, but hoping to come back and try them again and see if my opinion changes.

Yelp
Came to see what the hype was about. Bonus it's restaurant week so I have to try their 3 course RW menu. I started with the duck egg roll situation for the first course. It was delicious and flavorful and their homemade red sauce it's ADDICTING! Second course was the beef cheek noodle dish. WoW! Idk what they coated the noods in but lord have mercy! It never stood a chance lol beef cheek was so tender and flavorful! Thursday course did their homemade coconut ice cream that was amazingly delicious and refreshing with 2 poke sticks. Also tried their shrimp chip situation and I never knew that I needed that in my life. Definitely going to the Asian markets to buy them! Service was prompt. I got their tequila old fashioned that was so damn delicious! I will be back. Ambiance was second to none. Beautiful plants as you walk into the place. Colorful and the play hip hop music!

Yelp
I tore my acl on a booth trying to leave and food was cold. The staff was genaraly incoherent and the lighting was atrocious

Yelp
A gem in this area! The parking is hard and the area is sketchy but I would recommend this place to anyone. Made a reservation and got seated right away. The place is spacious and vibe-y, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Crispy saigon caramelized prawns changed my friends' lives. Papaya salad was okay I would skip it. Curry vermicelli bowl with prawns was one of my favorites as it was warm, filling, and flavorful. The potatoes and carrots were cooked perfectly but the noodles were very soft and kept breaking apart. Reckless fried rice was another favorite. They were not skimpy with the pork belly and the pieces were huge as well. I would recommend trying this as it was so delicious. Tamarind seafood udon was flavorful and there were alot of prawns and squid pieces. Easily shareable and filling as well.
google avatar

Devon D.

Yelp
Reckless is in a word fantastic, their happy hour from 4-6 everyday is to die for, while the portions are a little smaller for the appetizer portion, it doesn't skimp on the actual product. Came here with a friend a few weeks ago and we had a bunch of drinks off the happy hour menu and also food, we both enjoyed it greatly! Happy Hour is Mon - Thurs 4-10PM, Sat 4-10:30 and Sun 4-9PM.
google avatar

Yelp
We loved the vibe and atmosphere. They have open door seating when the weather is nice. The service was attentive and personal. They help explain menu options and their exotic cocktails and made my daughter feel special on her birthday. The food was wonderful. The flavors were bold and rich with depth. The fried rice alone was outstanding. Duck, tender beef cheek, crispy prawns, and tasty noodle options. They balance a upscale feel with great food at reasonable prices.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing noodles, creative cocktails, and great vibes! The beef brisket pho and spicy Dan Dan noodles are packed with flavor, and the drinks are expertly crafted. Friendly service and a stylish atmosphere make Reckless Noodle House a must-visit!

Yelp
This has to be the best fried rice I've ever had. I got the lobster rice and I ate it all! My husband got the beef cheek noodle dish and it was also very delicious. The drinks were a little light on the pours, lots of ice but very delicious. The inside was absolutely gorgeous and really cool environment. It's pretty far from my house so I would have to be in the area to visit again. Their service on the other hand is the reason that it lost one of my stars. We rarely saw our waitress. We had to ask other workers for items such as forks, water refills, and one time they even forgot our water and we had to ask again. When they would bring the drinks or even the food, they would just put it wherever they didn't care about who it belonged to (we were a party of six).
google avatar

Clay T.

Yelp
Always love a good happy hour! Ate here with some friends 5pm on a Saturday. Great happy hour deals on drinks and appetizer. Vibe of restaurant is really chill with seating at the bar, by windows and then more quiet seating off to the side. Lobster Bao and Bok Choy were our favorites. The papaya salad was unique but ended up upsetting our stomachs the day after. Service was quick with some good recommendations provided by our wait staff.
google avatar

Emma T.

Yelp
We had the sweetest servers who accommodated to the fact that it was our first time being there. The food was incredible and were good portions for us to share. It was a cool place that was warm and inviting. Definitely would come again to try a few other items.

Yelp
When the phrase, can't stop, won't stop applies to dinner, you know it's a good meal. The hubs and I met up with a friend for HH. Also shout out to Reckless Noodles for doing weekend happy hours! We started with items from the HH menu: Shrimp chips (so good we ordered a second) Papaya salad with prawns - best version I've had in the city Crispy duck - the hubs and friend liked this one a bit more than I did Bok choy - get the veg in, in a delish way Lobster bao bun - this was our friends and he enjoyed it Shanghai spicy wontons - I don't eat pork but the hubs said this was his fave Non HH dishes- Grilled beef in betel leaves - where has this been all my life? Fave dish hands down of the night Braised beef cheek noodle - unbelievable how tender that beef cheek was Service was fast and friendly. We had several people bring out our food and they were all wonderful and loved their food as much as we did.

Yelp
Reckless Noodle House is a pretty cool place. Immediately, you notice the ambience and awesome decor. I love the mermaids hanging over the bar and the tree in the middle of the table. We got there shortly after they opened, so it was quiet and we were seated quickly. By the time we left, it was getting busy. Everyone there was very nice and attentive. The drinks were good and the food was great. I would have given this place 5 stars, but some of the food was a little lacking. The calamari and squid were overcooked and some of the noodles seemed to have been sitting out for a while. Apart from these minor issues, everything tasted delicious. I would absolutely come back!
google avatar

Jenna E.

Yelp
let's start with drinks: strong, cute decorations, fair price (compared to other restaurants in the area). food: solid flavors, but the shrimp in my fried rice didn't have any spices and was very plain. also, my food came out warm-ish rather than truly hot, which kind of bothered me. ambiance: good vibes, mood lighting, and fun music. service: honestly, terrible service. my sister and i felt invisible. there seemed to be poor communication among the staff.

Yelp
This might have been the best food I ate this year. The menu was loaded with things that sounded delicious. We had the papaya salad, wok blistered green beans, crispy Saigon caramelized prawns, and the curry vermicelli bowl. All of the dishes were complex, balanced, fresh, and delicious. They had a great beer and other drink selection. I made the mistake of ordering IPAs though which don't go well with spicy food. The inside of the restaurant was gorgeous and the plates were presented beautifully. There are single stall inclusive bathrooms. Not the most kid friendly place. They were nice to us and no judgement for bringing our two year old, but they only had one working high chair, the kids noodles were disappointing, and most of our food was way too spicy for my son.

Yelp
4.5 stars. Came here with my partner and a friend after they'd been bragging about how good Reckless Noodles is, and it didn't disappoint! It's such a cool, swanky place. Food can be pricey but totally reasonable if you're sharing family style with a group. They don't take reservations, but there's a few bars down the street while you put your name down and wait. We were seated at a high top table facing the sidewalk, ordering a few cocktails and four dishes: Lobster Fried Rice, Cha Cá La Vong (Rockfish), Papaya Salad, and Duck Crispy Roll. Everything was delicious and wonderfully spicy. Especially loved the rockfish and papaya salad. My mouth is watering now as I type this. Would order all of that again. Service was great for how crowded the restaurant was. My partner is also pescatarian, and there were plenty of options for him on the menu. Definitely coming back to try more of their dishes, including dessert. Can't remember which cocktails I got, but the overall tiki vibes are fun, so I'd totally do happy hour. Also want to try the location in Seattle!

Yelp
We came here on a Thursday night around 8:30pm and barely any patrons. We were able to get a seat right away. We really liked the decor. It almost felt like we were in a Pirates of Caribbean scene on a pirate boat. Fresh plants throughout. There was a full bar and the cocktails we got we well crafted and tasty. Everything that we ordered was delicious and very flavorful with some distinct flavors. The curry vermicelli with beef was was more of a soup. Usually when I get a curry dish it's meant to be combined with rice so this was a different delicious take. Both the MuXu Duck crispy rolls and fresh caramelized pork rolls were so good even though both were so different. We also loved the reckless fried rice. The service was really good as well. Really nothing at all to complain about and everything tasted so good! Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Shelby R.

Yelp
Food was amazing. We came in during a snow storm so it was not super busy & during happy hour. One suggestion is to use a different type of rice for the fried rice as it really didn't hold up. Would recommend the papaya salad although it could use more spice!
google avatar

Sandra O.

Yelp
The food had a lot of flavor! We enjoyed every bit of it! The shrimp was the best! We had a great server! The place was super nice and chill. Really made me feel like I was at a tropical resort! I would come back again!

Yelp
Came in for a late sat night snack. Quickly greeted for a seat and interior looks great. We got the bo lo lat and a fried rice. The bo lo lat has some work to be done. Didn't taste much of the meat but the fish sauce was good. The fried rice, rice was a bit on the soft side and didn't have much flavor either. Skipping the food, we had dessert and that was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend for anyone checking this place out. Overall, I wouldn't return for the food. However, there ambience and drink menu looks like a cool place to chill at.

Yelp
Came here for Denver Restaurant week. The wait was over an hour, but they had the option to join the line from online which was very convenient. Of everything we ordered the crispy Saigon caramelized prawns and reckless fried rice were the most delicious. The seating was a little tight but we were able to enjoy our food regardless of the tight space. Our server was attentive considering the busy night and I would love to come b

Yelp
cool noodle spot that does a lot of things well. I thought the flavors of the dishes were great and shined, but to be honest, I think my least favorite part of the dishes were the actual noodles. The prawns small plate was probably my favorite. Great texture/crisp and flavor with a good kick. The blistered green beans had great flavor, but for some reason felt like it came out cold, which felt a little strange. The curry vermicelli had great flavor but the noodles felt a bit overcooked and bloated. A bit disappointing considering the name of the restaurant. Service felt a bit on the slower side, but otherwise very nice. The ambiance was kind of "hip/edgy" with decent amount of seating.

Yelp
Finally made it over here after seeing a bunch of rave reviews. We ordered a bunch of things to share and everything was delicious. Love the ambiance and decor and the service was great. Highly recommended the green beans and the beef cheek noodles!

Yelp
We found out about this place through Offline. The atmosphere and ambience was fun and vibey and the service was great! We were there on a Wednesday evening and they were a good amount of people dining it, yet only three people manning the restaurant, but they were so on top of everything you'd never know! We started with the Thịt Nướng - Caramelized Pork Fresh Roll and the Crispy Saigon Caramelized Prawns, and then shared the Hokkien Wok Noodle. We both felt the pork rolls were missing a bit of flavoring, while also feeling the basil was a bit over powering but they tasted incredibly fresh. The caramelized prawns were delicious, and you get 8 very good sized ones! The wok noodle was also super tasty and a great sized portion. These two small bites and one large bite was the perfect amount of food for two of us, we would have been way over stuffed if we'd gotten two large bites.

Yelp
Such a nice addition to the neighborhood! I've been here many times for drinks, dinner, etc. the space is really cute and good for a date night or a big group. I've done both and been happy with the service, table, meal, etc. I have dreams of the beef cheek noodles. It's my favorite thing on the menu and I get it every time. But I've tried almost everything else on the menu and there's nothing bad. Cocktails are all very creative and tasty. Definitely recommend for your next dinner!

Yelp
Absolutely loved my experience! The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portions were generous. The spicy broth really packed a punch, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Fast service made it even better! Can't wait to order again!

Yelp
The vibe in here was great! Lots of seating, not too dark or loud-- it was just right. I appreciated the fast and thoughtful service, and the food was really good. Mondays are happy hour all day and I really enjoyed the variety of things I ordered. The crispy duck egg rolls were probably my fave out of what I tried. Looking forward to coming back again sometime soon.

Yelp
Love this place. Try it. The dishes we love are: Ba là lot, the crispy prawns, and their drinks. The menu is unique and it has a diaspora of Asian dishes. We like the vibe here. Pretty sure this used to be a coffee shop. If you're looking for a new cute dinner date place to try. Go here. You might find a new favorite dish. We have.

Yelp
Get in the waitlist early!!! You can only do this day of. I checked at 7pm and it was 45 min for 2 people and 1.5 hours for 3 people. We grabbed a drink at Charlie Brown's around the corner to wait. They have a text message system and will remove you from the list if you are 10 min late. We got there about 2 min after our check-in point and then had to wait an additional 30 min to be seated. That gave us plenty of time to look over the very expansive cocktail menu. Drinks: I got a cocktail with turmeric in it and it was pretty good. Came in a coup glass. My friends got other fun drinks that came in bigger tiki like drink cups. Food: It was Denver Restaurant Week, so for $35 we each got to choose an appetizer from a list of 5 choices, an entree from a list of 5 choices, and then dessert: Vietnamese crème brûlée or a scoop of ice cream. Warning: pretty much all their food is spicy, but it doesn't say that in the menu. Bryce was super nice and had the kitchen make me a little bowl of noodles with zero spice and gave me some warm coconut milk to dilute the curry. He said they can accommodate if they know ahead of time. I'm a huge wimp and can't handle any level of heat from peppers. It was all very fresh and had great flavor profiles. See the pics for what we ordered.

Yelp
Reckless Noodle is a great addition to the area! I have been twice and thoroughly enjoyed my visit both times. They have plenty of vegetarian and pescatarian options, which I love. Every cocktail we tried was tasty and beautiful! The service was great as well. We used their online waitlist but there was no wait when we arrived. The space is dark and moody. Parking in this area can be tough, but there is usually street parking somewhere.

Yelp
I would like to start off by saying that I feel very sad for the Denver residents. As if this is the best that Denver can do with Thai fusion food, they are missing out. Our papaya salad was extremely bland, there was no taste, and it came out after 35 minutes of putting in the order. Also, it was freezing. It felt like I was eating an iced papaya salad. Papaya salads are not supposed to be icy. I understand that it's cold outside, but they should really warm up their vegetables. Our spring rolls were OK, it was still cold. Probably because it was sitting next to the papaya salad in the refrigerator. Lastly our beef cheek noodles, were actually pretty good. That was actually hot. We also got the Genmaicha soda. There was no genmaicha in it, so I would say the theme of this restaurant is "lacking ". We will give the extra star as the servers were friendly enough.

Yelp
I was a little skeptical but I decided to try it during happy hour. When I first came in I wanted to try the duck roll but since I have a have a shellfish allergy, I was unable to you. But the staff help me pick different items that were shellfish-free and they let me know that 80% of their menu with shellfish free! Since it was happy hour, I tried the papaya salad , which had a nice kick to it and had a nice flavor. I also got a couple of the spring rolls which I think could've had a bit more meat. Otherwise it was really good. I also got the jackfruit cocktail (which I shouldn't have, I should've listen to the bartender). I'd like to try more of the menu but over I had a great experience. The staff was attentive and it wasn't crowded ( go when they open).

Yelp
Such a beautiful restaurant with wonderful service! I have been dying to go here since I was supposed to go to the Seattle location, but didn't make it because of a delayed flight! This place definitely doesn't disappoint. We had a couple dishes, drinks and dessert and it was still pretty affordable! Will be my go to spot this winter.

Yelp
This place is such a fun find! Drinks are good - they also have great shrubs! Food is wonderful and perfect for eating family style. One warning we ordered the green beans and they come with Thai chili peppers in them - the restaurant is pretty dark and the chances of eating one is pretty high. They are SPICYYYY! My fiance had to have a glass of horchata to try and cool his mouth. The staff is very attentive and friendly!

Yelp
We were here for Denver restaurant week, so we focused on their menu. It was great. We tried a lot of different dishes from pork roll, crispy prawns, lobster boa, curry vermicelli, beef cheeks wok noodle, and creme brulee. Everything was great, but dessert. The drinks were great, and the service was outstanding. Brice was amazing in covering us. The ambiance was eye candy and worthy.
