Fresh off a poor experience in Ohio and it was time to try another Asian restaurant considering the fridge was empty and wanted something quick as it was getting past my bewitching hour where I turn into "Mordred" (Stephen King character) Seen this place in passing but have stayed away because of the chain mentality. Walked in to sit and eat and they had a decent crowd for 7pm on a Tuesday. Ordered a Rainbow roll appetizer and while the price was ok, the amount of fish was minimal and the filling was a fake crab mush but hey, plenty of rice, equal to what you can buy in the grocery store! Next up was the Mongolia beef with a side of fried rice. Now compared to Ohio, this was much better, had nice spice, was not too tender, nice texture and had a good feeling it was from a cow. The rice was ok but was missing the scallions chunks and found it hard to find the egg. The other dish was the Triple Delight combo of shrimp, beef and chicken. Had nice flavor but the texture of the beef and chicken was too tender, like not meat? Found this place to be better than others in the area and people were flocking In during our meal so it seems to be the local favorite. Food mains were served very quickly, in less than 12 minutes which tells me it's not made fresh per say and par for the course but no surprise in this instant gratification era. Staff was pleasant and judging from the worn out seats they have plenty of backside patrons. Now if I rated them on the Mongolian beef, they could have been a 4. I will go back and try a few more dishes.
