16 Spots For Delightful Dim Sum in Las Vegas

"The short dim sum menu at Red 8 is served in a lavish dining room drenched in rich reds. Priced between $8.88 to $20.88, items include everything wild lotus to fried crab claws and steamed chicken feet. The design in this restaurant is sure to draw the eye between courses, but definitely make sure to look up at the ceiling as you walk through the entryway." - Janna Karel

Where To Eat Dinner Before A Show In Las Vegas

"Until the Encore Theater at the Wynn lets us bring Red 8’s oxtail soup into the show, you’ll find us here pre-show, post-show (they close at 1am Friday and Saturday and midnight the rest of the week), and probably also post-post show getting takeout because their dumplings taste even better in a hotel bed wearing a robe. But before you get to that part, you’ll sit in a very red space with billowy white curtains that looks fancier than it actually is. Come here whether you’re all dressed up or in something more casual for some really solid Chinese food." - milena difiore

Where to find vegetarian and vegan menus on the Las Vegas Strip | Eater Vegas

"Outfitted in its namesake color scheme, Red 8 at Wynn is the perfect choice for dim sum fans who prefer mushrooms to har gow. A vegan dim sum menu includes options made with Gardein chick’n. There are also vegetarian entrees like vegan tofu shitake and vegetable fried rice." - Katie Swalm

Red 8 Asian Bistro - Review - The Strip - Las Vegas - The Infatuation

"From the red walls to the billowy white curtains to the vases that you really want to but definitely shouldn’t touch, Red 8 is one of the classier late-night options in town. At the same time, this Chinese spot in The Wynn manages to be really comfortable and casual so there’s no need to worry about being too loud or whether you’ll feel out of place in whatever you show up wearing. Get the oxtail soup and the spicy pork dumplings to wake yourself up before getting at least one order of pumpkin dumplings - you’ll find yourself telling people at home about them as frequently as you tell that story about riding The Strat’s Big Shot." - Milena DiFiore

Absolutely loved Red 8! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, dim sums were fresh and delicate, and the soup was rich with flavor. The duck was cooked to perfection — crispy skin and tender meat. Dessert was a surprise — the mango creation was unique and surprisingly good, while the cheesecake was classic, creamy, and delicious. Fantastic food, great ambiance, and attentive service. Highly recommend!

If patience is a virtue, then dining at Red 8 made me a saint. We waited 45 minutes for our food — long enough to start a new hobby, question our life choices, and still have time to grow emotionally as people. The servers were friendly but seemed to be practicing the ancient art of disappearing. By the time the food arrived, we weren’t sure if we were at dinner or brunch for the next day. The food? Not bad. But after that wait, even a microwaved burrito would’ve tasted like a Michelin-starred masterpiece. Would I go back? Only if I bring snacks for the wait. ⏳🍜

Everything was sooo good! We ordered the Singapore noodles, crunchy cucumber, spicy radish, potstickers and green beans. Loved it! This venue is overlooking the casino next to the tower suites bar. Causal and delicious place to have lunch. Highly recommend!

Google
Posh but casual environment overlooking casino. Use back door if entering with children under 21. Lovely delicate flavors, great service. Elegant setting and presentation. Family style. They everything - it's worth it!

Google
Dim Sum is Okay but definitely not worth the price, noodles were good, barbeque pork is too sweet without much other flavors. Definitely not worth visiting Wynn just to try this but if you are already staying at Wynn might be worth a try. ~$60 per person

Google
There are lots of options for table sharing. The dishes labeled "hot" are not super hot. So ask for some hot sauce on the side if that's your thing.

Donald Steffes

Google
The Pad Thai chicken was extremely tough, the smoke from the casino was evident everywhere in the casino and restaurant. The cashew chicken was excellent.

Very casual Chinese, some dishes are very tasty like tenderloin with black pepper and Mongolian beef others are not like lettuce chicken wrap

Yelp
A Culinary Journey Through Asia at Red 8 in Wynn Las Vegas Red 8 at Wynn Las Vegas offers a refined and contemporary take on traditional Asian cuisine. With its sleek ambiance and open kitchen, this restaurant is a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Recently, I embarked on a delectable journey through its menu, and here's my review: **Ambiance:** Stepping into Red 8 is like entering a luxurious haven. The dim lighting, plush seating, and expansive windows overlooking the Wynn's casino create an intimate and inviting space. **Food:** Each course was meticulously crafted, showcasing an exquisite balance of textures and flavors. Highlights included the Wagyu beef short rib with foie gras, a decadent symphony of rich flavors, and the Chilean sea bass in black bean sauce, with its delicate and flaky texture. The crispy duck salad with fresh mango and mint provided a refreshing contrast, while the wok-fried Maine lobster with black truffle offered indulgence in every bite. I highly recommend Red 8 at the Wynn. You won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
This is a small restaurant located in the Wynn, so be prepared for long wait times during peak hours. Luckily, we arrived right when it opened and were seated immediately. The restaurant has a modern Chinese vibe and offers a good variety of Cantonese dishes. The waiters were attentive, and while the prices are on the higher side, that's expected for a restaurant in a luxury hotel. I really enjoyed the chef's special hot and sour noodles--they had the perfect amount of heat, which was perfect for someone like me who loves spicy food. The XLBs and spicy wontons were decent, though nothing particularly special. The BBQ platter was a highlight for me--it allowed me to try all the BBQ meats without having to over-order. The Hainan chicken was nice and tender, and the beef chow fun was very satisfying, with that distinct wok hei flavor. Overall, a solid dining experience, especially if you're looking for a more upscale take on Cantonese cuisine. Just be prepared for the wait and the prices!

Yelp
Just giving a recent update since I come here every time I hit the Wynn .. love the service but you do need to make reservations here or else you will wait exceptionally long as walk-in .. MUST try the "Crispy Roasted Pork Belly" + "Mongolian Beef" which was so tender and was great to have with "BBQ Pork Fried Rice" .. we had quite the night before this meal so we were in need of proper refuel for the night .. The Udon Noodle Dumpling soup will bring you back to life! Pro Tip if you're a guest at the resort, use the concierge to book your reservation for ANYTHING resort related and you will get taken care of .. enjoy! =)

Yelp
Great takeout on a business trip, so much that I enjoyed 2 meals here. Pricey, but delicious. Roast duck, dim sum of all kinds, steamed vegetables, soup, brisket. Highly recommend. Definitely worth it (which I can't say for the Wynn seafood buffet).

Yelp
We have been to this restaurant many times, and we have always enjoyed the food, service, and overall ambience of this restaurant. If you're looking for good Chinese, this is a place to go. They never seem to disappoint and have vegan and vegetarian options. We will return again.

Yelp
I thought by going to an expensive dim sum, the quality to would be much better. However, the items were about the same as going to a good dim sum restaurant in chinatown in terms of quality (and the taste was a little worse). There's absolutely no reason for me to come back to this dim sum if it were regular priced, let alone these steep casino prices. 4 stars Fried turnip cake - I don't usually order this but this was probably my favorite item here 3 stars Ha gow - small pieces, but solid Siu mai - small, but decent in taste Spare ribs - good plump pieces, but not your classic spare rib taste (if that's what you're looking for) 2 stars Bbq pork pastry? (not sure, my friend put in this order) Hot & sour dumplings - sounded interesting, but lacked the execution Charsiu - not better than a chinese take out charsiu Pan fried chive dumpling - not too crispy and its weird that it had a sweet & sour sauce Poached chicken - chicken pieces were skimp on the meat Pan fried soup dumplings - pan fried sounded like it'd be good, but wasn't anything special

Yelp
We had lunch here with a large group of about 12 people. We were seated quickly as it wasn't prime time. As most Chinese restaurants everything is sold family style so we ordered a bunch of everything and everything tasted amazing. My only disappointment was the service. There was a language barrier between us and our waitress which led to a little attitude while trying to put our orders in. Other than that will def go back!

Yelp
Great food that I can rely on every time! The wait can vary but service is a bit below standard. To be fair, there's a lot more authentic dim sum in Las Vegas, but when you're in a pinch, this place doesn't disappoint in flavor! The salt and pepper calamari is great eaten with the crispy garlic and the noodles are the perfect texture and flavor. Although congee can be quite plain, it's more of a comfort food but Red 8 does it well with both flavor and comfort. The setting of the restaurant is quite nice and cozy with pillows along the booths. I would say this is more on the expensive end of asian food if you are familiar with authentic asian food but it is still fair for being inside of quite a sophisticated hotel.

Yelp
Gabby Is an incredible front host. Makes you feel very welcome and refuses to make you wait to be seated. I love Red8 and Gabby makes it a pleasure every time I come

Yelp
Great tasting food and great service. Love coming for their dum sum options and their salt pepper fried sift shell crab is a favorite! So delicious!

Yelp
05/2024 This is my favorite restaurant at the Wynn when I attend the Asembia Conference. I wish we could pack the food up and take it home.

Yelp
Red 8 serves authentic Chinese recipes in modern Asian style. The menu is in Chinese, with helpful English translations. You want boba? They have boba! Also black and green tea, honey and lemon, hot soy milk, and so forth. Menu selections lean heavily on central, southern, and Taiwanese cuisine with only a few nods to the north. We ordered Sichuan Scallops With Chinese Eggplant (鱼香茄子带子煲), Dan Dan Noodles With Pork (擔擔麵 , 担担面), and Steamed Shanghainese Pork Dumplings (上海小籠包 , 上海小笼包), commonly known as xiao long bao. It was all quite good, especially the scallops with Chinese eggplant, which were perfectly seasoned. The Chinese eggplant was buttery-tender, infinitely better on the palate than heavier and tougher American eggplants. Red 8 sits at the heart of the Wynn on the Las Vegas strip, one of the poshest casino properties in Las Vegas, so it's astonishing that everything mentioned above that we ordered plus iced tea and soy milk cost only $105 including tax and tip. The décor is ornate, but not stuffy. The room is open partially to the casino. Red 8 is good food and a lot of fun. 请享用 !

Yelp
Had brunch here and were very happy with everything. The decor is beautiful, very posh and elegant and service was excellent. There were several people helping us, and they were all great. Wayne, the manager was extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel at home. The food was SO delicious, we had scallops, tornado fried rice, congee, ong choy, dumplings, everything was presented beautifully and tasted fresh and flavorful. They do have a couple of gluten free choices here (ask Wayne, he will help guide you) Definitely recommend Red8- excellent, excellent, experience all around. Compliments to the chefs, the servers, the staff and the manager, Wayne. Will be back!

Yelp
Great dim sum and reasonably priced especially for being inside the Wynn. The decor is absolutely beautiful. We walked up right when they opened and enjoyed a lovely dim sum lunch. The food was really good. The bbq pork buns were my favorite! The mushroom medley dish was a huge hit. The portions were commiserate with the price and we ended up with a good amount of food for a reasonable price. Service was good and they helped us select different items. Even the hostess came by and suggested items. We would totally go back here again!

Yelp
Our waiter took our entire order at once and instead of sending appetizers and entrees in stages we received all our food at once. He didn't ask and we would have preferred to have our apps first. Cute place that provide the utensils and chop sticks. So need to worry if you don't know how to use chop sticks Overall, all the food had good flavor but the calamari was cold. The chicken in the chow mein could have used more flavor but we still enjoyed our meal. The stand out was definitely the beef tenderloin, great flavor and melted in your mouth and the sea bass was also super flavorful and melted it was served w/roasted broccoli that was also amazingly delicious. The dessert was good, the cheesecake was creamy, the tapioca has great flavor but I just couldn't get over the consistency and was over it after a couple bites. You had to break the wheel to get to the chocolate mousse and it was very yummy and rich. Would go back but specifically ask to have apps and entrees served separately.

Yelp
Food was okay. Our server was great. The location and vibe and the restaurant were great. I am frustrated with the host. We arrived with a family and she told us it was an hour wait. Which is fine, we had no reservations. Our group split up and me and my sister went back. We thought sitting 2 people might be easier. The host told us 30 mins, we asked if there was a bar she said no and finally told us there was a communal table. It was pulling teeth. The communal table sits 8 so our family of 6 could have had a quick dinner there.

Yelp
One of the only spots inside the Wynn encore complex that had a short food take out time! I was starving after getting off my flight and could not find any restaurant that would serve me without a reservation or waiting an hour for a table! I asked around the hotel and it was recommended I stopped by red 8. Thankfully red 8 had a short 15 min wait for my food as I got take out. But was a long walk from encore. Ordered directly from the menu and got broccoli and steamed chicken. Both were good for take out. Glad I found this spot!
google avatar

Eleena H.

Yelp
Absolutely enjoyed my dinner at Red 8 along with the great customer service from our server Joe. He recommended the best things on the menu that we shouldn't miss out on. The shrimp chive dumplings and pork soup dumplings were delicious and came out fresh. I absolutely would just come back for even the pickled cucumbers they were THAT good.
google avatar

Lam N.

Yelp
Still the best oxtail soup in the world that will cure the worst hangovers Vegas delivers or dehydration from 120 degree heat. Service was great but the wait seemed extremely long without our special reservation delivered by a friend. Beautiful decoration. My son liked all the colors in the sample dumplings. Stay away from the green vege dumpling ( something doesn't taste right)

Yelp
In a recent stay at The Wynn I dined here solo not once, but twice. Both times were in the 'off' hour of around 4pm when you're in between Lunch/Dinner and a lot of spots in the resort have yet to open. I was incredibly surprised by how authentic the flavors are here. Even the very first thing I ordered, the jasmine boba tea did come out overly sweet, which I usually expect when I assume a Chinese restaurant is 'westernized.' Loved that all priced end in .88 (8 is a lucky number for the Chinese, and links to the namesake of the restaurant of course). Even at the hour I stopped by, the restaurant was pretty full, and I was offered a seat at the communal table to avoid the wait. That worked out just fine for me. I ordered a mix of dim sum and a wonton noodle soup which were all so delicious and flavorful. I was so smitten by my meal I even wrapped the meal up with something sweet, some sesame balls served warm with just the right amount of crisp...as it should be. On top of it all, there was a little snag with my service (my noodle soup was very delayed)- I didn't even think to call it out but the manager there graciously addressed it (unsolicited). Wish I had gotten her name but she was a vert young, petite Asian woman...and was just very kind/professional. Me returning immediately the next day is a testament to how if you operate with quality, bringing customers back is a no-brainer.

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday. It was in the middle of a big tech conference week so most places were packed -- even though they had some open tables, they said it's a 40min wait so I ordered take out. I got the beef brisket noodle and chicken lettuce cup. Food was ready in 15min. Yay! There's the option to pay when ordering or at pick up (which was convenient as I'd forgotten my wallet). The food was packaged very well -- noodles separate from soup. Plenty of sauce for the chicken lettuce cup on the side. Overall, authentic and satisfying Chinese food. It's pricey. It's in the middle of the Wynn so it had the typical premium casino hotel markup pricing. I feel like that's par for the course -- I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but the availability of comfort, authentic Chinese food (even when marked up) does make it nicer to stay at the Wynn when I'm spending a few days for work meeting near the Venetian convention center.

Yelp
A very nice place to enjoy authentic Chinese food. We originally had resv at WingLei but they were running late so that would've only given us one hour before they close to eat a much awaited duck dinner and we didn't want to be rushed so we walked out down the hallway to Red8 and they had tables available at 845pm. Service was good and pretty quick at that hour we had the shrimp vermicelli hotpot which was very nicely cooked-- the shrimp was sweet and big. We also had the bbq platter which had delicious roast pork and duck and the bbq pork (cha shu) was tasty with a hint of wine in the marinade. And the scallop and egg white fried rice was beautiful! Would definitely come back if I were at the Wynn
google avatar

Yelp
4.5 stars We were able to grab one of the last evening seatings at the busy, Red 8 Asian restaurant, and we were so happy that we did. First, the space was beautiful and really made a statement with its bright red and stark black marble décor. Secondly, the food was terrific! To start, we shared a 3-piece order of the Steamed BBQ Pork Buns from the dim sum section of the menu. Typically, I like roasted buns better, because I find the steamed ones too sticky, but these were moist and contained a generous portion of robust, barbecue pork. From there, I selected the Wok Fried Hor Fun wide noodles with soy sauce and added chicken as my protein. My boyfriend ordered the same but in what they called a "Thai-Style". So, while mine definitely had more of a savory, Chinese flavor to it, his had a bit more sweetness and the additions of basil and curry. Both of them were excellent! There are so many celebrity chef-driven restaurants in Las Vegas, so Red 8 might fly under your radar, but it definitely should not. It was truly a hidden gem!

Yelp
Red 8 is a fantastic option for quality Chinese food when in the Wynn Las Vegas Casino. You can find it just across from the Wynn Tower Suites reception area. We came here to celebrate a cousins birthday. (+) Beautiful room with lots of....you guessed it, red! The room is not massive, but a cozy and tastefully decorated room with Chinese accents. (+) I enjoyed the BBQ Pork fried rice dish and it was tasty and deceptively filling. I also decided to try the Baby Jasmine Tea Lager ($12). It was light and smooth and I very much enjoyed it. Everyone else was very happy with their dishes too. We had a little mini feast going! Made for a very nice and happy meal with good friends and family! (+) Service was very friendly and attentive. Refills were handled swiftly and we were always made to feel acknowledged. Red 8 delivers delicious Chinese food in a tasteful atmosphere. I look forward to my next visit here! 4 solid stars.

Yelp
**Overpriced** Dined here this past Friday. Food was meh. Ordered extra lettuce for chicken wraps $2. No gratis refills for $7.50 lemonade!

Yelp
Service and food were amazing!! They have dimsum which is a cool find, and we tried the beef soup, green beans, veggie rice, and spicy wontons. All of it was great, and decently priced. The restaurant is also cute and has a cool theme.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. Service was good. We got in today within 15 minutes and food came out fast. We ordered the pad Thai and chicken and salted fish fried rice.

Yelp
The food is authentic, I loved the spicy oil noodles. And the hagaos have big shrimps inside which is great.

Yelp
Great food, service, and ambiance! First time dining at the Wynn and didn't know which restaurant to try. The wait was about 45 mins and it was definitely worth the wait! Nice sized portions... we had leftovers and would definitely come back.

Yelp
The location is great. We sat on the edge open to the Wynn and enjoyed people watching :) The decor is pretty and the food was pretty good! A little pricey, but I mean, we're in Vegas...at the Wynn, so to be expected. Service was ok, not exceptional. But, the hostess did say a 45 min wait and then we were seated in 5 min, so that worked out. Overall, I would definitely recommend Red 8. And I'll be back, this was my second time there, so I already knew it was a cool spot.
google avatar

Yelp
We recently dined at Red 8 following a show at the Encore Theater. Red 8 was convenient and one of a few restaurants open late. Everything we ordered was good, a bit pricey, but that is to be expected in Vegas. The thing that stood out was the service. Unfortunately the server accidently dropped a sauce and it splattered on my dress. It was an accident so I wasn't angry but just bummed because it was my first time wearing this dress. The server was so kind and I felt bad because it was truly an accident. The manager tried to offer to have my dress cleaned and offered me something from the gift shop to change into however we were leaving early the next morning and it didn't make sense to go through the trouble. They comped our meal which was very kind of them. I could tell that the server was genuinely apologetic and I appreciated the effort they made to make it right. The service recovery was excellent and I would return again in the future to support this restaurant.

Endlessdrafts O.

Yelp
The quality of the food, or at least certain dishes, at Red 8 is trending down. As of a year ago, they had some of the best Orange Chicken around, but the recipe was changed some time in 2024 and now it is pitiful. More like Sesame Chicken, and not very good at that. Also, what happened to the Salted Fish and Diced Chicken Fried Rice? It used to be spot on, but now the chunks of fish are too large and it causes the entire dish to taste bloated and bland. Perhaps it was just some bad luck that I ordered the only two dishes that have been changed for the worse, but I would avoid these two for sure.

Yelp
Our first time dining with them and we enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the ambiance is Great. Professional staff.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Everytime im in vegas i gotta go here. There hot and sour soup is amazing. So is ther calamari, shrimp in black bean sauce, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, kung pao shrimp, fried rice. Always a good time here, great service as always, nice looking place.

Yelp
Located inside the Wynn hotel, this is a very nice Chinese restaurant. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable. Service is good. Overall a nice place to dine in.

Yelp
Red 8 is one of three Chinese restaurants on the WynnCore property. While Wazuzu offers an Asian fusion menu, Red 8 specializes in authentic Chinese "cheap" eats, like chow fun, dim sum, congee and etc. I have dined here several times and was satisfied after each meal. Pros: * I have never had to wait for a table here. I have gone here for lunch and dinner and have always been seated promptly. *It is authentic Chinese food...but not high quality though. It is ok for what it is. If you bring your Chinese grandparents or older relatives, they will not complain! * Wide open menu, plenty of options to choose from. Cons: * Service is really iffy. After the wait staff drops off your, don't expect to see them for a while. *Some of their dishes are over seasoned. Overall, I would come back again if I was hungry for casual Chinese eats. Red 8 is on par with the other casual Chinese restaurants like Noodle Asia (Venetian) or Hong Kong Cafe (Palazoo). P.S. I have eaten at Red 8 at the Wynn in Macau. The Vegas restaurant doesn't hold a candle to its sister Macau location.
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Red 8 located in the Wynn Hotel and Casino has the biggest bowl of soup I have found. I had the pork and shrimp soup with egg noodles. You have a choice of one of five different noodles. A massive bowl which was my fulfilling dinner entree. Wifey had Mongolian beef with a side of brown rice. She shared with me. It had a nice kick to it with great taste. Good service and atmosphere.

Yelp
Food great as usual Service outstanding!! Ate and recommendation took to heart was delish and leftovers was properly contained to be shared with to go container provided;)'

Yelp
One of my favorite lunch spots in Las Vegas! Perfectly steamed Seabass, with the miso glaze is light flavorful. Of course the impeccable service of the Wynn Casino is implemented at this restaurant. Always delicious!!
google avatar

Jon D.

Yelp
On par with Panda Express. Terrible pot stickers - mushy, no flavor. King Pao chicken was sweet. Skip this place go to Panda for $10. Not kidding. Couldn't even finish. Terible.

Yelp
This restaurant is located inside of the Wynn. It was decorated really nice and I felt they made really good use of the spade they had. Service was extremely fast. It felt like we just sat down and our food came out instantly! We ordered salt and pepper tofu, salt and pepper crab, Mongolian beef, prawns and walnuts, and oxtail soup. I would pass on the salt and pepper tofu due to the lack of flavor. I love walnut shrimp. It's usually my favorite thing to order when going to a Chinese restaurant but I would pass on that here for two reasons. 1) it only came with 5 prawns. 2) it was literally the most expensive thing we ordered and it was just average tasting. Not enough sauce either. Oxtail soup and salt and pepper crab were the two most worth items to order. They were delicious!

Yelp
Wednesday Dinner for 2 @7:30pm Vegas is very busy, it's good to put your name down at least 1-2hours early before you're actually hungry, and that's what we did. Put our name on the waiting list at 6:20pm gamble a bit or chill, until they call to let you know your table's available. Ambiance was nice, open space not a lot of seats so it didn't feel like you were jammed pack sitting beside a stranger. Service was good, our server was nice, very chill down to earth..good personality. We ordered : * Amber walnut shrimp -$32.88 : 5/5 Soo good large juicy perfectly cooked, nice light white sweet sauce on top, walnuts added the perfect crunch. They give you 5 shrimp I thought 1 more to make it six would be better even number. * Classic Dan Dan noodles with pork - $18.88 : 4/5 Nice very light flavours, comes with a broth that you pour to mix your noodles. Your supposed to pour half the broth not all of it.. it's not supposed to be a soup. Pickles added a nice crunch to the buttery flavours. Flavour was a bit too light for my taste so I added a bit of soy and they're delicious peppers to my own serving. *Crispy Roasted Pork Belly - $25.88 :5/5 BOMB!! Soooo good! A must! Tender, Juicy, nice salty flavours that's not overpowering with the perfect crispy Crunch from the skin! Drooling thinking about it. Overall definitely will be back! I highly recommend the prawns and Crispy Pork together. It goes very well bc the sweetness from the shrimp will balance the salty flavours from the pork. The noodles is good but it's a filler, you can always try other options for your fillers :D Price is very reasonable compared to Wing Lei and the food is very good.

Yelp
My favorite Chinese food restaurant on the strip. The service is always great and the food is amazing.

Yelp
Seems to have gotten much better recently. They offer takeout in relatively premium to go containers. The roast duck platter is now fairly impressive with all the rights Peking duck accompaniments. Would get again. Wonton noodle soup was also very solid

The food was very good and fresh. The service was get quick and didn't have to wait long at all. The ambiance was really cool and the lights were dimmed just right. The tables were like high top but I had a booth so it was really nice and gave exclusive members only vibes. This was located inside the Wynn hotel but I stayed at the Venetian but I love Red 8 everytime I visit Vegas.

Yelp
Had the sea bass! Nice flaky white fish. Great service and will go back as soon as Able. Location is perfectly situated in the Wynn.

Yelp
It really deserves 4 stars for food quality but a hard 3 stars for service. This place has excellent food, but the service is on par with a local diner. They refuse to take reservations or call ahead seating so anytime you want to eat, you have to plan roughly 90 minutes ahead and be there in person to say you want your table. Chaos for no reason. Usually there are multiple tables empty while you're told to come back in an hour and a half. They seem understaffed or just poorly trained. After your lengthy wait, you'll wait again, and again, and again, while the waiter wanders around doing the bare minimum. Your food will take a while and have a chance of coming out cold from the waiter aimlessly visiting other tables in the meantime. But.. if you're lucky to get a waiter who cares about his service and tip.. the food will be excellent. If only they would read reviews, this place would outshine a lot of other restaurants in the area. Just don't show up starving and you'll be happy.
