"At its locations in Little Havana and Downtown Miami, this family-owned Italian restaurant’s version of a charcuterie spread is set up with Prosciutto di Parma, salami, mortadella, and pepperoni. The experience comes full circle with Parmigiano-Reggiano, pecorino, and ricotta, rounded out with olives, mixed greens, and marinated vegetables." - Juliana Accioly

This restaurant deserves more customers. The vibe is lovely and the servers are super nice. Food is also prepared with heart but it’s not pricey compared to other Italian restaurants in Miami. Perfect spot. Only thing I’d say is downtown Miami does not seem too safe for a solo traveler at night. It’s very nice that the owner and server walked me out to my uber.

The food was elite. This is a pricey place to eat but it is worth it. The potions are a little small so it’s good to worded multiple courses. The customer service is good and the restaurant is very aesthetic. The food was beautifully presented and the flavors were blended the perfection. I left with a very happy palette. The desserts were delicious as well we got a lemon cake which was light with wonderful cream and the gelato which was also lemon and had a surprise filling.

Their food tastes soooooooooo fresh!!!! 😍 I loved every bite! No matter what you order it’s going to be great. Note: If you are vegan this isn’t the place for you. They have one vegan dish, so yeah, not too many options for vegans. 🙈 For everyone else this place is a win! 🔥

The owner was very kind and the food was absolutely amazing. We had a 3 course meal and every one was perfect. The appetizers were done so well and presented nicely. The mains were perfect portions. We will be coming back here every time we come to Miami. Great job to the owner and his staff!

The food at red carpet is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared! You can chose among many menu options. I love the service at this place Cecilia took care of us she is very sweet, professional and the best wine advisor. The chef is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! A must in Miami, I highly recommend this place.

I’m a Downtown Miami local and come to dine here a lot. The salads🥗, appetizers, and entrees 🍝are all fresh and tasty. The decor, ambience and lighting are all on point to make a nice and special experience for lunch and dinners. For a good Italian food experience you’ll also be supporting a family run restaurant that is thriving through the construction on Flagler. 😋🙏

Modern and atmospheric place. I love interior inside: enough place, comfortable chairs. Chicken Alfredo pasta was creamy and delicious.

Google
I visited this restaurant and was surprised to find an Italian restaurant in downtown that was authentic from the service to every plate that made it to the table, our waitress Cecilia was very nice always smiling and the owner even came out to suggest what wine to pair our food with he recommended a really good brunello. If you are searching for real Italian a peaceful atmosphere with good service look no further.

Yelp
Cute little hidden spot in downtown with yummy Italian! Only my second time trying cacio e pepe since I didn't love it the first time (wasn't here!) this time was great! It had a smoked cream sauce, which I didn't taste the smoke on but it was so creamy and delicious! The pistachio cake blew my mind! Such a beautiful flavor and perfect texture! Great ambiance too, low lighting, nice and quiet and relaxed! Would love to come back and try more, it's nice to have this kind of restaurant local!

Yelp
Don't worry about the road construction. Don't worry about the neighborhood. This is fantastic Italian food. I haven't had chicken parm this good in ages. The calamari was deliciously tender. The wine was incredible. The staff were prompt and friendly. I never wanted to live in Miami until now.

Yelp
The food is amazing , loved the ambiance. This place should be packed!! The service is amazing. I ordered the wild salmon and pasta. It was so delicious. I will definitely be back soon

Yelp
This is one of the best meals I've had over the yrs in downtown Miami. And it was my first time dining at this restaurant what a pleasant experience!. We also had very attentive service. I've spent some time in Italy and I was shocked at how nice light and authentic the food was. It's real Italian food not some gravy joint you'd find in the east coast. We started with the crab cakes. I'm a crab cake aficionado due to living in Baltimore for yrs. These did not disappoint. Generous portions very crispy on the outside and extremely meaty on the inside. They were served with a tiny lemon salad which cut through the richness of the crab and was perfectly paired. We also enjoyed the antipasto board filled with yummy imported Italian meats and cheeses which are great for sharing. As good as the starters were the true stars were our entrees my 9 yr old got spaghetti with meatballs a dish I do not normally enjoy until today. The entree had meat balls that were as light as air and well seasoned I could tell the sauce had San marzano Italian tomatoes in it light in flavor with a hint of garlic and parsley. My entree was the chicken Parmesan made the real Italian way which is a lighter entree than the traditional in America. The chicken was pounded out very thin then a small amount of sauce was added then fresh buffalo mozzerella was lightly added served on a bed of garlic linguine chefs kiss xxx. For dessert we opted for the house made profiteroles and the light as air tiramisu. They also have an amazing selection of wine. I let my wonderful waiter pick a light red from Italy( don't ask me how to spell it lol). This was a wonderful dining experience and they were very kind to my 9 yr old foodie daughter

Yelp
Just finished another fabulous meal at The unusually named for an Italian restaurant; Red Carpet. The ambiance, service is still superb (any restaurant which plays the theme from Cinema Paradiso in the background gets extra credit from me!). We shared an appetizer of Grilled Artichokes over arugula to start - best artichoke dish I have ever had period. It's big enough to share or could actually be a lunch for one. We enjoyed the Ravioi di Granchio and the CarbonaraDi Mare as our mains, both were superb. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant and may rank as the or one of the best Italian spots in Miami. Adding some photos. Do yourselves a favor and don't let the construction on Flagler dissuade you. You will really enjoy your visit to Red Carpet.

Yelp
Went to this restaurant on a Wednesday night. There were two other parties in the restaurant at the time, both of which were a party of two. We had a party of 12. On the good side The restaurant looked and smelled clean. However, that's the only really good thing that I could say. Restaurant provided a menu as well as the server told us of the specials. Most restaurants when you provide an entrée it usually comes with some sort of salad or something as part of an appetizer. This was not the case , some people order specials some people ordered what was on the menu. I ordered from one of the specials. It was a combination of beef and veal tortellini. The portion would be a size of a child. It came with nothing else. Oh, and by the way, after the order was given it took over an hour and 15 minutes for the food to arrive. For a weeknight evening with minimal customers there's no excuse for having this long of a wait.

Yelp
I was surprised that the restaurant was empty when we entered, initially even had a thought about going to another place. However, decided to give it a try. We ordered four dishes, each of them was great. Octopus was fresh, burrata of high quality, deep-fried veal crispy and juicy, pasta had amazing notes. Highly recommend this place, it is a truly hidden gem.

Yelp
I walked in at 1pm with 3 tables sat. One of the tables already had their food. The other two had already ordered. My order was to-go. $19.00 and 50 minutes later and this is what their salad looks like. I know commercial produce pricing. I was told passing the figs through the oven is what took so long. Lol. This is about $1.50 worth of greens. Would not recommend based on my experience. The stars are for the flavor of the salad and the politeness of the manager. Otherwise, not worth the visit.

Yelp
MUST GO! I've been a fan of red carpet, since their location on 8th street. One of my favorite Italian restaurants. They have the best food my mouth can handle. We started with the grilled octopus as an appetizer (AMAZING) and the fig salad (so good, we fought over who will have the last fig). Now, for the main amazing course: chicken parmesan, I've been blessed enough to have this chicken parmesan in their other location. This is the best chicken parmesan I've ever had, I don't get chicken parmesan anywhere else because seriously there is nothing better. You need to try this! Now, we also got the pear ravioli to share and WOWWWW! One of my favorites! It's a smaller portion, so it's good for the table to share and then order an entree. The veal ravioli was also delicious! Let me explain, there is NOTHING in this restaurant that you can get that isn't good. Everything is amazing!! Their desserts are home made, don't question it, get it. Worth every calorie! Lastly, the location is in downtown, prepare for parking. But it's so worth it! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with just the perfect ambience. Great customer service. Go go go!

Yelp
A round of applause for Red Carpet! This is the new undisputed champion of pasta in Miami for me personally. My aunt sung its praises so we decided to give it a try and I'm thrilled we did. Everything was fantastic and it had no business being this good. The complimentary bread was crispy, buttery, warm, and drizzled with balsamic vinegar and topped with fresh parsley.... Dih-vine. The wine our waitress recommended was really scrumptious too, trust their judgment if you give them some direction as to what you're looking for. For appetizer, we ordered the meat and cheese board. Everything on this board was 5/5, each of the cold cuts and cheeses bursting with flavor that complimented each other when we mixed and matched bites. Then came the pasta......the pasta. I'm going to dream of it tonight. I ordered the mushroom pappardelle after both my aunt and waitress recommended it, despite me not being the biggest fan of mushrooms. One bite, one bite and I knew it was my new favorite pasta. The pasta itself was al dente, and it perfectly absorbed the creamy sauce. The bits of mushrooms added another layer of texture without being overbearing. I was floored as was everyone at the table who rudely stole bites ha ha. Then I tried my sister's cacio e pepe which was your quintessential cacio e pepe, but packed with an even more peppery taste than most, and it worked so well with the sauce. Lastly we ordered the pistachio cake for dessert. Fluffy, angelic, nutty, heavenly. I could go on, but at this point please please go try it for yourself. 5/5 for the food & drinks. 5/5 for the customer service. Our waitress was the sweetest and she guided us through the menu with warmth and ease. She made it feel homey. 5/5 for atmosphere. Equally modern as it is cozy. Stop reading, go try Red Carpet!

Yelp
The atmosphere and service was great and the staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The music was tasteful and this a perfect place to enjoy some wine for a romantic dinner. Unfortunately, the food was decent but did not wow; dishes are not authentic and I was disappointed that the spaghetti was cut at half length.

Yelp
We had previously eaten a fantastic meal at their 8th street location (although it is currently under renovation) so while downtown for the Van Gogh exhibit, we saw there was a second location and booked a reservation. Good plan! The decor and atmosphere was much more upscale then their 8th street had been, so I can't wait to check out the new updates when the renovations are complete. So I would've given them five stars, except the $18.95 appetizer was a disappointment. The grilled octopus was not a large portion nor particularly different in any way. The description said served with mashed potato enriched with sausage, tomato chunks, capers and truffle oil. Perhaps it was all puréed together, which would do them no favors, because I noticed no sausage, no tomato chunks, no capers, and no drizzle of truffle oil to complete the effort. I would definitely skip this. So I actually wanted to try the "unrivaled" pumpkin ravioli, but the waitress steered me towards a broccoli and sausage ravioli or the veal osso bucco ravioli, and I went with the first option after she said it was her favorite. It was a bit spicy, but I had been warned, and it was delish and had a nice presentation. My husband had the black squid spaghetti with shrimp, calamari, clams and mussels. He kept raving about it. So if downtown, check them out.

Yelp
You have to pay attention to where you're going or you might walk past this gem of a restaurant in old downtown Miami. The food is excellent as is the service. Area is going through upgrading so there's construction, but Red Carpet is well worth the effort.

Yelp
This review if for Uber eats Delivery. The order took 90 minutes to get ready. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, veal piccata, bolognese and a Cesar salad. The entire order was cold and it was clearly sitting there a while before being picked up. Other reviewers seem to complain food arriving like warm when dining in so this may be a systematic and persisting problem with their meal prep. Having said that their packaging allows too much heat to escape and had made the Cesar salad warm and soggy. The bolognese was very ordinary and bland with very little meat sauce and the pasta was over cooked. Definitely felt it was not worth $23. The veal piccata would have had a nice flavor but it was so oily from the linguine butter sauce that it was soggy. The accompanying linguine was cooked Al dente but way too much garlic for my taste and again way too much oil or butter. The eggplant parmigiana was bland. At $93 there are many better options. This place is also just round the corner so why it took so long to make is beyond me.

Yelp
This spot deserves all of the available stars. I have gone several times to their coral gables location and food has always been delicious. For this reason I had little to no hesitation when picking this place. We walked in and we were immediately greeted by the owner, he sat us and attended us quickly. We had the caprese salad and I had the short rib ravioli, both delicious. This place definitely needs more recognition. I hope that this location gets the traffic they deserve, because the food is to die for!

Yelp
Went to Red Carpet in downtown Miami last night. Eggplant Parmesan and Veal Picatta were both delightful. Great service. Nice ambience. We are glad we tried this place and we will surely return. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Great place. Tucked away in an unassuming part of downtown, this place has great food, ambience, and the staff is very nice and friendly. Stop in for sure. We are visiting from Oregon and this was our last formal dinner in Florida, it was a great topper to the trip!

Nia R.

Yelp
Wow what a GREAT EXPERIENCE! A special thank you to the amazing Cecilia! From her warm welcome and various suggestions, she definitely made our dinner experience more pleasant. This restaurant has an inmate charm to it. Cecilia welcomed us with a big inviting smile and seated us quickly. She gave us many descriptions on different menu pieces that really just made me want to eat everything!! The food was so tasty! I kept eating everything even after being full. Couldn't miss out on dessert! And Cecilia had the best suggest (Pistachio cake)! I will definitely be back to this spot! One of my new favorites! Love it!

Michelle Orchid R.

Yelp
The new downtown restaurant is here! I've been a fan of the Coral Gables location for some time and was excited to see the new location. True to form the downtown location did not disappoint. The interior decor is inviting and warm from the moment you step in. The restaurant is spotless and the owner Jorge has always stepped up his game in terms of hospitality. Cecilia was our service for a party of four and she was accommodating and professional. Such a pleasure to come to this place. The highlight as always is the food. Yum yum! Can't say much more than that. I order the Ravioli de Granchio which was fantastic and high quality crabmeat (not the cheap stuff like most places) and delicious creamy lobster sauce . I couldn't get enough. Each of my friends has their dishes which I didn't try but all assured me that it was good. Oh, and the portions were generous! Always a bonus when you go out to eat. For dessert I ordered the carrot tiramisu. It was light fluffy and sweet. I took one to a friend just as a treat and she loved it. Parking : it's street parking so be prepared for that. I got a spot right in front of the place just in time for an early dinner. Be prepared to download an app for that. Visibility is good. Close the corner of 1st and Flagler, easy to spot. I recommend parking then walking to the place. Red Carpet is elegant enough to get together for a special occasion but approachable enough to stop in when your in the neighborhood for an event or the AA arena nearby. It doesn't disappoint and I'm happy I saw the new place. Definitely a thumbs up on my end.

Kathryn B.

Yelp
A bit disappointed. I got delivery... and 2 stars is best I can say this meal was, despite a price tag that says otherwise. The ravioli de granchio was ok, but didn't come with enough sauce for all of the raviolis. Also tried the Risotto al Limon, and was overwhelmingly lemon and was overall underwhelming tbh as far as expectation/ price vs what I got. ($27 for plain risotto and 6 shrimp covered in lemon) Also, was expecting the garlic knots on the side like you get at the gables location, but I guess $65 for 2 meals doesn't warrant 2 lil gknots apparently! There are way better Italian restaurants in downtown .... Fratelli Milano is def one of them, but they were closed today so ventured out. Sucks because I was excited to have a new Italian spot, but I'll have to keep looking!

Marlo S.

Yelp
What a lucky and surprising find! Gem of a restaurant hidden in a pretty trashy (though perfectly safe) stretch of downtown. Amazing house-made ravioli, great salad, superb desserts. Service also exceptionallly accommodating. Great experience overall

Martin L.

Yelp
The new location is fantastic! This is the best Italian restaurant in Miami. Love the grill artichokes as an entree and the short rib ravioli and Pear Fiocchi are a must have. If you are craving good home-made Italian food this is your place.

Michael O.

Yelp
We had a very nice dinner at Red Carpet. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! I had the osso bucco ravioli and am looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Dinner is not cheap, but I think the price is reasonable considering the food quality.

Shelby S.

Yelp
THE BEST food I've ever had and the owner was the sweetest. He even gave us an amazing wine recommendation and was really knowledgeable about the whole menu as well. If I lived here i would 100% be there every day!

Tonya P.

Yelp
We will eat at Red Carpet every single time we visit Miami. I love Miami so can't wait to go back!

Lafayette B.

Yelp
This restaurant was amazing! Every item the Cecilia recommended was delicious!! Wow! Definitely a place to check out!! Cecilia was so attentive and awesome!!

Shigeru B.

Yelp
The artichoke appetizer was amazing and so was the beef ravioli. Cecilia's recommendations were awesome!! Great treasure to find!!!!

Alessandro A.

Yelp
I live downtown and I'm so happy I just discovered a LEGIT Italian place in Red Carpet! The ravioli with sausage, broccoli and saffron AND the squid ink pasta were both perfect. The tiramisu was light and fluffy and the touch of the pistachios set it apart. Cecilia was a total sweetheart and made excellent recommendations. The ambiance was quiet, you can actually talk without having to yell at the table and the music set the scene. Highly recommend and I hope they're around for a long time!

Anabel C.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! This was my first stop in Miami and I'm so happy with my choice. Jorge, the owner, is attentive and knowledgeable. He offered recommendations near our hotel which was very helpful. Can't recommend it enough.

Marcel R.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! This is a fantastic Italian restaurant with outstanding food, nice decor and great service. A great option in the downtown area!

Audrey-Jade S.

Yelp
Lovedddd this place! We walked in on a Thursday night and got to meet the Owner. We had the grilled artichoke, pear pasta and bolognese and everything was amazing. I've never had grilled artichoke the way Red Carpet made it and it was out of this world! We live in downtown and are so grateful we found this gem of a place. We will definitely be coming back!

Marcus F.

Yelp
I was in Miami recently for business and stopped into this new location. It was a personal recommendation from a good local friend and I am so glad that I stopped in. The decor, service, and menu were all top notch. I enjoyed the Frutti di Mare, which is not be to missed. Spectacular. The wine pairings that my server suggested were all on point. An excellent meal in all regards. Strongly recommend to anyone

Ian K.

Yelp
This was such a exceptional restaurant, from service to atmosphere, to food, to wine. Please do yourself a favor and dine here. It will become your favorite Italian restaurant.

Claudia T.

Yelp
I have been to both their locations and either one is a tremendous hit (one in Brickell and one near coral gables). The food is spectacular and the service is one of a kind. It's a family owned business and their care for their customers is unique! Highly recommend either location! Thank you Jonathan for the amazing food at the Brickell location!

Eddy B.

Yelp
Red Carpet #1 Stole my taste buds entirely, so I wanted to check out the Downtown Red Carpet and it's just as Amazing.. No let up in taste, service, nor ambiance...They just kicked up the style a smidge.. Lots of Italian restaurants in Miami, but to get the best, you need to take a stroll down the Red Carpet and taste the taste from appetizers to the deserts. This is Awesomeness

Abby H.

Yelp
Wow! I was trying to find some good Italian food on open table and found a reservation here. My expectations were beyond exceeded. Beautiful and tasty meals, and absolutely wonderful staff!!!comfortable yet classy atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Raeah G.

Yelp
The best service!!! So pretty inside and the food is amazing. They gave us a free bottle of Prosecco!

Brandy F.

Yelp
We are visiting from Houston, TX and my husband and I wanted something chill and Italian tonight so while in the downtown area we came upon this place. OH MY GOSH! So glad we did....exactly what we wanted but even better. The menu is simple but refined, and what we ordered was delicious. We had an amazing server named Cecilia that was personable, warm, and helpful with menu. We even enjoyed talking about this that and the other. A wonderful experience that if ever we make it out here again or know anyone coming to Miami we will be sure to mention to go here.

Glenn G.

Yelp
Better than I've heard. Short rib ravioli and chicken parm were amazing. Desert was a little small for the price but flavor and taste were incredible
