Red Crab

I’ve ordered from Red Crab several times now, and the food consistently hits the mark! The heat level is perfect, the portions are generous, and the customer service is always friendly and efficient. My go-to is the “Create Your Own” with Dungeness crab, extra corn, and a boiled egg. I’ve also enjoyed their snow crab in the past—always fresh and flavorful. One thing to note: when I’ve picked up my food, the seating area has consistently been warm, which makes dining in a little uncomfortable. I get that the kitchen’s busy, but the dine-in space could use better ventilation. That said, I still highly recommend Red Crab for seafood lovers looking for quality, flavor, and great service!

My wife and I were visiting our son in Addison and I found this place from reading reviews. We decided on an early Saturday dinner and glad we did. No wait at 4:30 but when we left at 6pm there was probably a 20 minute wait already. The smells when you walk in remind me of New Orleans. The music is just a bit loud but I think it attracts that crowd in the weekends. Our waitress was friendly but did seem rushed a bit. She was pretty good about checking on us though. We started with the calamari and I have to say it was really good! They seasoned everything batter well!! My wife and I each picked a solo bag for dinner. I got the 1/2 lb crab legs, 1/2 lb mussels and 1/2 lb shrimp. They give very healthy portions and it tasted great! My wife got the same thing except no mussels and a little more crab legs. Overall we were pretty impressed. Just note it can get loud on a weekend night.

I’ve been there twice once for dinner and another time for lunch. During the time for dinner it was karaoke night, so it was great entertainment. During lunch, the specials were sweet. But both times the Fish and chips / catfish and French fries were delicious. I like their 3 types of tartar sauce they bring out with the food. Rest of the menu looks great, I figure I’ll try it on another business trip to the area.

The good: You get your money's worth from those snacks options. The bad: All of the seafood wasn't properly seasoned with everything, and the sause was very watered down. I'm not sure if they were short staffed, but once we got our food, the server seemed to disappear. The review: Overall, it was ok. I've been to better seasoned boil restaurants, so this would be on the lower end of the list.

First Time at Red Crab and I loved it! The food was good! The service was great and the vibe was nice. They were playing R&B and rap which was an absolute vibe!!! This spot has definitely moved to the top of my list!

I had the pleasure of dining here to celebrate my sister’s birthday 🎂, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. We were served by Heaven, whose service was truly excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was delicious and arrived expeditiously, making the entire evening even more enjoyable. Heaven our sever discreetly came out with a cake to surprise and help celebrate my sisters birthday . Thank you for a wonderful celebration!

Made reservations on the weekend. it was pretty busy. The food took forever to come out, they bought out everyone food we waited over 45 mins to a hour for our food. fish isn’t real fish maybe because i’m from louisiana. their daquarius are really sweet but good . waiter was a little rude maybe from being over worked. currently sitting here still hungry :(

Not really sure why this place has as high a rating as it does. The number of things wrong with this place are not equivalent to the over 4 stars unless it only counts weekends or something. I'll start with the food, it was the least bad thing, but still not good. We had the fried catfish and tilapia, and flavor wasn't even a consideration for these and I'm not sure how they stripped even the basic flavor of being deep-fried from them. Worst though, was the service. Again, assuming weekends have people who care or something for the rating. Our server was beyond offensively bad. We only saw them when we had other people getting them for us. We only got crap service during those times, like we interrupted an important phone call. Just getting our initial drink order took 15 mins. We had to get a manager just to get the check. This place, at least on Wednesdays, is a ridiculous dumpster fire. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back to see if it's better any other day of the week.

Sahara at the bar was the absolute best!!! After she took my order I was already raving about her to my service industry friends!!!! It was slow when I came here and my food came out within a good amount of time!! Will definitely be back!

The service from Heaven was top of the line. She was knowledgeable about seafood and sauces. SHE should be commended for her work. My food was A1 considering I was born and raised in Maryland. Keep these standards and I will be back.

Great for fish and chips. Of course here in Texas it's called catfish and French fries. The sauces they give you are all super good. I've been there for Karaoke night and it's quite great entertainment with top of the line seafood. The server are always so pleasant and helpful.

Food was good. I thought the sauce could use more seasoning, but everything was good. Good happy hour prices.

Stopped by thinking we had made the happy hour but apparently the hours were not advertised correctly and we tended to show up earlier than wanted. The location is large, ample seating and back side parking, the crowd did trickle in. The staff were friendly, and the environment was clean. Our waiter was so kind and very attentive, would definitely return on that alone. Now to get to the main part my partner and I order the #3 with added on 1/2lb sausage, 1/2lb snow crab leg, and 2 boiled eggs. Overall, with 2 cocktails we evened out about $100. I will add we've spent this amount money and more at other seafood boil spots and had less food. Just for us to each get a cluster of crab alone was a major plus. We chose the medium Cajun spice, I could have gone hotter in heat but this did build and was good. The seafood was fresh, I felt some of the shrimp weren't to my liking but these did have the heads on and were not deveined and that can change the taste. The sausage is flavorful and not spicy or overly salty, best version I've had to date. We had leftovers and were very appreciative to finally getting our bang for our buck. The seafood smell did not linger, just adds on to it being fresh seafood, however, loved having the gloves, apron, bucket, and lemons on standby to keep our area and ourselves not a complete mess as we ate! I normally do not order frozen drinks (wasn't aware it came this way before order), but I did enjoy my hurricane, not overly sweet, next time I'll order it as a regular cocktail. We will be going back!

A hidden gem for sure !! This is a go to for my friends and I. We love all seafood. It's very affordable and GREAT quality. Always a good vibe. Great music and the servers are really nice!!

I want to gatekeep this place so bad, but then it won't stay open for the remainder of my life. Please come here and spend some time and really get messy with your food. It's so beautiful and juicy I can't have seafood anywhere else anymore. It literally makes me wonder why on God's green Earth id ever go to Red Lobster or someplace stupid. The servers are always patient and attentive and I wish this place was more packed. 10/10 and if someone says it's overrated or whatever, then that's just pure haterism and no one can save them.

This place would get 10 stars if i could add it to! The crab was fresh and juicy, the all in one sauce was delicious and the pina colada was just what i needed. I also added lobster to my boil which i didn't like but i think i just don't like lobster. Anyway, my friend got a catfish poboy and they loaded that mf up with fish filets ! Everything was so delicious and then they had the nerve to play popular r&b songs from the early 2000's ! Great place with wonderful staff ! Heaven was a wonderful server, I will definitely be back !

Red Crab Juicy Seafood is amazing. I've been here five times, and every visit deserves 5 's for food, service, and drinks. They have happy hour Monday - Friday from 6-9. I absolutely love the regular and peach margarita's. They have great flavor and a nice little kick. You have to try the seafood bag with mild flavor and the juicy special for the perfect amount of flavor.

Ambiance was good. The food was ok at best. The service was really good. The sauce juicy sauce tasted as if it was missing something that could have brought all the flavors together. It was well price for the amount of food we received. Only complaint I really have is the sauce. It needs work.

My food was FIRE I got headless shrimp, potatoes corn & rice. I did all three seasonings together medium spice, oh la la *chefs kiss* . was craving a shrimp broil, found them on Yelp; ordered because the ratings were good. Got it delivered to my hotel (Uber eats) definitely a good choice. Good price too!

Never had over cooked and it's been fresh every time.. 5 times and great experience. I had only dined in one time and the service was pleasant. The vibe in the restaurant is chilled but nice music and you're able to watch the game.

Went out here for a Dallas game and just went into this place boy was my husband loving it. He said he's better than anything in Vegas.

Idk if it was a bad day there or what but me and my family went to this location and it was my little cousins birthday. Our server was very nice cause was doing a little coughing but she was nice and attentive to us food came out kinda fast and nobody really enjoyed their food. The shrimp tasted funny like it was old the corn tasted old and potatoes was hard. Idk it was just a little off and me and my family we eats down with some seafood but this location just wasn't it & then the after math was a little diabolical lots of going to the restroom through out the night and my aunt and my brother had an allergic reaction that's not ok . We love seafood we just won't be coming back to this location ever

The service and food were great! The staff is super friendly. Our food came out hot and fresh. My catfish and shrimp was fried just right, my sons enjoyed their seafood bag. They said everything was well seasoned.

So I decided to come after my sisters told me about this spot. I decided to give a try to a bit of the items on the menu. I order for myself the Fried Catfish Basket. Well to be honest the breading really has no flavor but the fish itself was good. There Cajun fries are good as well. I then order some crab legs with some headless shrimp. The sauce I got was the Cajun Mild which was pretty good. Maybe next time all grab a more spicy sauce.. The service was great and very polite. The ambiance is good and they also have a great variety of music playing.

Another Addison treasure! The ambiance feels like a Pirate ship and the service was top notch. For three of us we ordered the #6 and had a solid portion of leftovers. We did the seasoning mix that had all of them combined and it was so divine. Highly recommend!

wonderful young lady welcomed us into the restaurant- personable and clearly explained the menu! we were wondering why the restaurant was deserted and the bar was closed / the same girl was doing everything and our orders came out quickly- we were truly nervous about what to expect! I ordered the shrimp/ crawfish/mussels with corn and One small potato. My friends ordered similar including Sausage and clams (these were very small). They are prepared cooked and served in a plastic bag - various sauces - garlic lemon pepper and a cajun ( mild recommended) - perfect spicy! The food was delicious the service wonderful ( if more people had turned up don't know how one person could have handled everything)! My observation is unfortunately that Management needs to do something or this fairly unique place will be closed very soon!

SUCH A DELICIOUS PLACE. Found this spot walking in, after bowling we wanted a good birthday dinner. SOOOOOO GOOD & the prices to share the plate with someone is perfect and we finish it ALL Will come again definitely

The food was good. I can't complain. I just think 2 small blue crab couldn't have weighed a 1/2 lb but I could be wrong. I had the mix of all 3 seasonings, a little salty but still good. I would definitely order from here again.

The atmosphere was amazing. We went on a Thursday which is apparently karaoke night. Fun! The food was good. I got the juicy sauce medium and while it was a bit sweet I'd get it again. Not pictured are the chicken wings and margarita.... so good and flavor The only downfall. I sat next to a window and my leg and arm were eaten by mosquitoes ‍

Ok this place use to be 5 stars... would frequent here. However they do not know how to take feedback. The second to last time I was there. I asked the waiter to tell the cooks they over steamed the crab. (I'm an avid crab eater - if you can't snap the crab and pull your crab out whole - you are over steaming it.) Today I went hoping the same thing wouldn't happen. Again... crab not coming out whole and the crab legs would bend when trying to crack them. I asked our waitress to tell the cooks they are over cooking the crab. She literally said they don't listen to us.lmbo. And I mean I can tell. Another thing I noticed is that the establishment is shorting the waitress staff - again I brought this up. Second to last time... and nothing change this time I visited. The waitresses are amazing! Either put the correct percentages on peoples bills so they can tip appropriately OR don't put any percentage on there and let people do the proper math. I thought I found my forever crab spot but I'm on the search again. One thing I hate is not being able to crack my crab legs with my hands and being able to pull out the meat whole. It use to be like that idk what changed. The sauces they use are everything though and the music they play is always a vibe.

When most of the restaurant/ bars are under scrutiny, and most of them are hurting, because of the pandemic. This restaurant is holding on steady. The food, is excellent. My bartender, recommended edamame's, to me yesterday, and let me tell you, I was surprised. Just thinking about it, is making me hungry for more, If you are in to edamame's, like myself, I suggest you drop by& taste it for yourself. Ask for "kasra"& tell him Mo send you,

Amazing, amazing, amazing... We had the #8 which consisted of 5 lbs of crawfish, 2 lbs of crab, 1lbs of sausage, clams and shrimp. It also came with Corn and Potatoes (Get all the spices mixed). What a treat! Service was 10 stars...

Best seafood I've had in Dallas. Service is a bit shaky but the food is AMAZING. Inexpensive. Juicy. Flavorful. A plethora of options. I just can't wait to go back!

Let me start off with some perspective by saying that I eat a crab boil atleast once a week and have had them all over the country. Besides when I make them at home, Red Crab is one of the best that I've had. I loved the flavor in their sauce and I think this is the first place that actually gives you a pound when they say they are. The drinks were good also and even though it was a Friday night and crazy busy the service was good. I will definitely be back! I don't give 5 stars out all Willy nilly so they definitely earned it!

I heard a lot about this place from friends and family so I decided to check it out on Friday night. I sat at the bar and my server name was Allena. She was great and very nice! The restaurant overall had a good vibe, really good music playing and it wasn't over bearing so that was nice. The food was really good, I got 3lbs of crawfish with the corn, potatoes and sausage 10/10.

We have been here several times and food has been great every time. They can get busy on the weekends but weekdays are a little slower

Literally the best seafood boil I've ever had!!! The waitress was so helpful with the menu since there were no prices on it and she was great! It wasn't super noisy, they played great music! 10/10 would recommend!

I was looking for a delicious crab place and Red Crab is great! My Asian mother can be quick picky with restaurant seafood but she loves them! The kitchen sink sauce is so good!!

The food was awesome but Happy hour is at 6 I went on a Friday half price apps and the margaritas let me tell you 1 margarita I'm a lol nevermind 6$ it was well worth it they have Great food and Happy hour choices 4$-6$ and our waitress let try a sample margarita to see if we liked it and we did most definitely will be going back.

Probably one of the best places to get a boil. Portions are huge and priced great! Service was good but a little slow. I appreciate the fact that they give to-go cups to drink out of. I got the snow crab w/ shrimp and added sausage. I got their signature sauce and it tastes phenomenal. I'll be back going back over and over again.

Whatever seafood plate you choose, pick the crazy sauce. It is so good! Plates very items and the number of people it will feed. Since we happened to be there during after hour, we got the wings and seasoned edamame for 1/2 price and since their draft beers weren't working, a bottle of beer was $2. When you're eating food with your hand and wearing a bib, a beer is a must. I can't remember which plates we ordered but it was enough for 4 people and it has crab legs and crawfish. Gotta have crawfish when it is in season. It was early in the season so the crawfish were still small. Nevertheless, it was delicious! I like the fact that it wasn't loaded with potatoes, corns and sausages. I didn't eat any of that. Why would you when there are mussels, shrimps, crawfish and crab legs waiting for you. Again, get the crazy sauce! Service was slow even though they weren't crowded. There were only a few tables. They are having the same problem as other restaurants, there aren't enough staff. I did not deduct for the slow service because it wouldn't be fair when the whole industry is suffering. $150 for 4. Not bad at all.

this is our second time eating here since we moved to the area and we already can't wait to go back. the vibes of everyone inside is always laid back and chill, music is always awesome, and the servers are smiling. and the boils blow our old regular place out of the water. the garlic is GARLIC. 10/10

The food was so good. The atmosphere was great. I had the fried catfish and shrimp and it was cooked to my liking. My daughter had the crab and shrimp boil and it was so juicy. My husband had the shrimp boil. Everything was prepared to our liking and the process was very reasonable. I'll be back in 2 week.

This place is delicious! The amount of food you get for the price is worth it! My friend and I split 2lbs of shrimp and crab legs and 1/2lb of sausage, 3 potatoes and corn. It was the perfect amount of food and I was able to take leftovers home. I loved the sauce; without it it wouldn't have been amazing. We got all the 3 sauces mixed in my only concern is that it had a lot of butter in it. Butter is flavor but it was soaked with butter so next time I'll ask for less butter. Overall, service was good. Social distancing precautions were enforced and the restaurant was very clean. It didnt smell fishy in there which was great. Now will I be back!? DEFINITELY!! This is some of the best seafood in town and maybe I'll try something else next time.

The service here started off great, attentive and polite. However, once we had our first round and debated on our second, our waitress wasn't anywhere to be found. She did apologize though so I give her credit for that. As for the food. Crawfish was ok. Lacked flavor and definitely no heat for being "extra hot". The oysters were average in taste but the sizes were bigger than most places. We also tried the molten cake which tasted like it was reheated in a microwave and not fresh at all. Also, who gives a molten cake without ice cream? Still baffled.
