Food was delish and plentiful. Plated up clean and nice. I will have tons of left overs.

Google
I ordered the food from the special menu, very authentic Beijing Zha-jiang Noodles, so do rest of the food from the special menu.

Google
Amazing service the guy is such a sweet kid friendly person. My son was having a bit of a freak out he’s 2 years old and the guy cheered him up with fortune cookies 🥠 the guys was just amazing such a sweet guy. And the food is fabulous we really enjoyed being there and having such a great lunch!!

Google
When I walked in waited 10 minutes before a server came out of the back room. Wiped a table down for me and had to sit at a wet table. Didn't get my drink till after the soup and food came within seconds of getting soup. The rice with the combo was cold . If you want good service and food don't go here,I would recommend you go to happiness chinese. Even panda express is better which is sad because red dragon used to be decent but seems like it has really gone downhill.

Google
This place has amazing authentic Chinese food. We always order more than we can eat because it is that good. Even the left overs are delicious! Also, if you like strawberry lemonade, they make their own strawberry syrup. Will definitely keep coming here when we are in the area.

Google
I'm a door dash driver and picked up an order here and while I was there I glanced at the menu and was pleasantly surprised to find a wide array of vegan options. I've literally never had a Chinese food entree as a lifelong vegetarian because plant based options simply don't exist so seeing an entire page dedicated to vegan full entrees made my day and I placed an order on my next day off. I was definitely turned off a bit by the high prices shown on the online menus so I was again pleasantly surprised when I placed my order and was told it would be less than 20$ for the sweet and sour tofu, spring rolls, and sesame buns. They said it would be ready in half an hour to 45 minutes so I took my time driving there but it was ready in less than 30 minutes. I was excited to dig into my plant based meal but when I got home I was disappointed that the sesame buns I'd really wanted to try were missing from my order. :( I had specified on the phone that I wanted the sesame buns with the coconut sauce so I don't understand why they missed that. I called them and they told me to come back in and get them. I ate my meal and it was delicious. I am so happy that I've found a Chinese restaurant that makes a wide selection of plant based food, something I've been waiting for for a long time. I was disappointed that they forgot my sesame buns and I don't understand why they missed this on a slow Sunday night so there is definitely room for improvement in regards to customer service. It seems from the other reviews that this is a common mishap so it seems they really need to work on providing better service and listening better. I hope they do improve these things because the food was great and I will for sure be back. I would have given 3 stars but I'm just so stoked that FINALLY there's a Chinese food restaurant that offers meat-free vegan and vegetarian options. It's worth the visit, just be very clear about what you want.

Google
Great vegan options! Come here for lunch often for the pick 3 for about 9 dollars. Can't beat that. The fried breaded tofu options are so good tastes very similar to the breaded meat options. The vegan broth soup is delicious Great prices as well. Service is sometimes slow but worth it.

Google
We’ve been ordering to go for years and love the food. Today we decided to dine in for the first time and had a great experience. Kin was our server and he was very conversational, and had excellent service.

Mark P.

Yelp
Some of the best music in Spokane . We've heard great blurs, Jazz, soul, rock and country there.

Yelp
I've struggled to find new favorites (or even food I really enjoy) since moving to Spokane, but I was pleasantly surprised by Red Dragon. We visited for lunch on a weekend and I was instantly enamored with the Emma Shipley wallpaper. We were seated immediately even though there was a decent lunch crowd and service was nice the whole time. The food was fast and fresh, and though I have never had an egg drop/flower soup with what seems like frozen veggie mix, it was still very tasty. The Generals chicken was crispy and spicy and I was super happy to have a nice portion to take home, too. My lunch partner enjoyed her pick 3 meal and had a hard time deciding from the vast options, so we'll have to go back.

Yelp
Ordered to go, food was absolutely horrible!! Just moved to Spokane and have loved Hong Kong Express but thought I would try based off Spokane Food Finders, NEVER AGAIN

Yelp
Food was amazing. Team is awesome. Cannot wait to get back Sat right away. We usually get take out but this wax truly a date night

Yelp
Who knew what was inside this hidden gem!!! As you enter into a beautiful dining space and discover there is a fabulous bar! We were here for a Halloween Bellydance Show! Wow! Incredible dancers! The place was packed but the service was amazing! Excellent food, drinks! Then came on live music! We will be back!

cheryl b.

Yelp
We were at the airport decided to call for Chinese. The service, the food the delivery were all AMAZING!! Would definitely do it again. Friendly, helpful great people and food...

Don A.

Yelp
The service was good and the restaurant was cozy and clean. However, Everything on my plate was greasy and soggy. The tempura batter on my shrimp was raw. The sauces were bland. I won't be returning.

Seymour M.

Yelp
I can't speak to anything else, but the General's Tofu was delicious! It's the greasy, flavor-packed kind of Chinese food I love! No flavorless, opaque, jellylike sauce some other Chinese restaurants serve here! Very pleased!

Elijah L.

Yelp
Great new menu additions in the Red Dragon Noodle House selection! Amazing staff, fantastic vibe. Also have regular live music every weekend!

Gary L.

Yelp
The worst food I have ever had. Not edible. Very disappointing. Egg Foo Yung like a overcooked pancake smothered in some kind of horrible gravy. Sweet ans Sour Pork flavorless and tough. Hard to mess up pork chow mein but they did. Yuck

Penny B.

Yelp
Ordered for delivery. Sweet and sour pork was so mushy I thought I was eating meatballs; almond chicken was congealed; chow mein was tasteless and I threw the leftovers away since it was such bad food. Thought I would get 3 meals out of it, but it turned out to be a very expensive waste of time and money. This is the 2nd time I have tried them and I will never order from them again. Both times the food went into the trash.

Yelp
Always fun to have a few drinks in the lounge and shoot pool then order massive plates of food for a good price. They have a horse racing theme in there. I know there is some story to it. Always friendly staff, they also have the whole other side of the building if you don't want to be in the lounge. I got this large egg drop soup to go when I was done and they gave me an extra one as well for free. I have a gallon of egg drop soup to eat for $5. Check it out.

Jill L.

Yelp
Probably the worst Chinese food Iv ever had. The "special chow mein" is the equivalent to half cooked spaghetti noodles with two chunks of celery, no flavor at all. The egg drop soup is regular egg drop soup with gelatin added in to make it the worst consistency possible.

Kristi R.

Yelp
Terrible terrible-food tasted old and service was terrible. We were incredibly disappointed

K H.

Yelp
Charged $19 for lunch, when it should have been $12. I thought the cashier had just added veggies, WHICH ARE AN EXTRA $5. Nope, just overcharged $7 for fried food. Not even the tiny container of dried out fried rice had veggies. Not a single carrot or pea, just crusty rice with fried egg bits. So sad. I was so looking forward to chinese food for lunch and I got shrimp tasting, and fried shrimp looking, sweet and and sour slop on gease with a side of yesterdays crunchy brown rice. Never order takout. They would never have served me this garbage when dining in, which is rare and parking is touch and go - as in your car will likely be touched and your things will go away.
google avatar

Bama W.

Yelp
Terrible delivery service. Inside dining the food is great, delicious. Service inside is also very good.

Bart B.

Yelp
Food was great and live music venue has a great vibe! Get there early to insure a seat in the lounge.

Yelp
After hearing they had a large vegan menu, we visited without seeing the reviews first. I'm glad that was the order of things because our visit was great! The older woman that served us was friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent all around, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only delay was getting our check picked up because another group was taking the server's attention. Otherwise, our food came out very fast! Based on our experience, I'm truly surprised at the negative reviews. We started with vegan spring rolls, which were crispy and fresh, and some vegan won ton soup. The won tons were so well done that we had to verify they weren't pork won tons! (It was mushroom!) For the main course we had moo shu tofu with pancakes and General Tso's tofu. Both were excellent, but the General Tso's was the winner. My husband was unsure to order it at first because he likes spice but not sweet, so the server gave him "mild sweet," and he loved it. The veggies were so fresh, and the sauces were really flavorful. The portions were HUGE, too - we have tons of leftovers! The meal came with a piping hot kettle of black tea, too, which was a great touch. Oh - and even the fortune cookies appeared vegan. I was happy to see such a great selection for vegans, and I can see us coming back.

Yelp
I love this place! here in Spokane visiting and craved some delicious Chinese food, I'm here to tell you this restaurant is a hidden gem. We ordered general chicken, almond chicken with fried rice & plain white rice with chow mien. The veggie choices in the chow mien were perfectly balanced. The chow mien was perfectly cooked. The chicken flavor and texture was above my expectations. Oh and the soup! Such a great addition to tie up the meal. Our order was a carry out and all our utensils were included , even came with a brochure with a code to scan that'll take you to the website for future orders , not to mention the whole menu is included on the brochure! talk about genius. Definitely gained a returning customer.

Yelp
We have been looking for a place that came even close to the old Kay Lon. We just came as close as I think we ever will. The food was great and the service was spectacular. What a great laid back place with great food. The lemon chicken is the best I've ever had.

Yelp
I wouldn't give this "food" to a stray dog let alone call it Chinese-American food. Delivery was fine. I ordered online and got an ETA of 1 hour and I got the food closer to 1/2 hour. The food though, yuck. First, everything appeared to be covered in different colored puddles of jellied gravy or sauce. I think the light brown gravy looking puddle over overbattered soggy "chicken" was almond chicken but it didn't taste like that at all. There was very little chicken in the actual breading. The sweet and sour ribs was cut into morsel sized pieces and was mostly fat and bone. The honey prawns were in an amber colors jelly glaze and the sweet and sour pork in a red glaze. The crispy teriyaki chicken was neither crispy nor teriyaki. Just some brown colored overly sugared glaze. Chow mein was sad. I tried every dish in spite of its total lack of visual appeal and none of it was good. Not one dish. It was either too sweet, lacking salt, lacking flavor, slimy, gummy, soggy, or just not tasty. Wasn't better the next day either. All the glazes had congealed each dish into these big gelatinous masses. Def in the running for some of the worst Chinese-American food I've ever had.

Yelp
The lady who helped me was rude to a new extent to myself and the gentleman who was waiting in the lobby with me. I had a pickup order for two 3 pick meals. The soups were put in the bag upsidedown and there were no eating utensils put in the bag. When I open the styrofoam my food was mixed and all over the place undercooked and cold at the same time. And the sweet and sour ribs had little to no meat, just bone. I was honestly upset and disappointed with all aspects of this restaurant.

Jonny L.

Yelp
Great food. We ordered 3 different rice bowls, great service from Margie and the bar restaurant seating. Left overs were even fantastic! Big portions. Will definitely be back when we are in town.

Dwayne S.

Yelp
The food was great. They prepared our order so it was hot when we were served. The degree of Spivey we ordered was spot on. Service could not have been better. They remodeled and the place is very clean. We will certainly be back.

Yelp
I think I've been poisoned! This was the grossest food that I have ever eaten. But the waitress was so sweet and wonderful. Owners...give Mary a raise. Please train your cooks.

Yelp
Very delicious and has a lot of vegan options. It's nice to have a place that understands what vegan is. Food is delicious and reminds me of a place I use to go to back in Las Vegas. Love the vegan wonton soup it just totally hits the spot, the vegan fried tofu is also amazing.

Cathi M.

Yelp
Went for the first time last night. Very small hole in the wall type place but the best Chinese I've had in the 19 years I've been in Spokane. The noodles in the Special Chow Mien were so flavorful, with large pieces of chicken and loads of vegetables. Broccoli, baby corn, carrots. Chow mien up here usually consists of vegetables mostly celery with the meat shaved on top. The Sweet and Sour Pork was great, not tough and had red sauce not the thick brown sweet and sour so common in Spokane. It also had pineapple chunks and onion. The egg fu young was thick and packed with vegetables, not just egg with a few pieces of vegetable. I wish they were closer, like Liberty Lake or Post Falls. Will be going back for sure!

Yelp
Came to Spokane on vacation with my girlfriend stopped by this restaurant for lunch and loved it bbq pork, almond chicken and general chicken the staff was amazing and very friendly the negative reviews are from people who had a bad day I guess we enjoyed our time here
google avatar

Casey H.

Yelp
Just your average Chinese restaurant. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the mood for Chinese food but if you're looking for something a little different this will not satisfy your fancy. I will say however the portions are big and you can definitely taste the difference in each entree, but I would stay away from it if you're going out on a date. Not very impressive and not very romantic, but definitely a classic Chinese joint. I will say the bond that back was interesting. Very open but a 70s type bar feel. Either way, I don't think you'll be disappointed in the food or the atmosphere.

Yelp
Once upon a time...NOT. Once would be to much. It was a warm evening. Just got our haircuts and since we were downtown in Spokane we thought Chinese food. The place we wanted to go was closed for holiday. Down the street was Red Dragon. Lots of cars which at 7 pm is a good sign. Got seated and place was Chinese red and not many diners. That's because they have a bar which everyone was in. And we figured out why when tasting the dinner. You need to be drunk to eat here. Our server was very nice. But service was extremely slow for no onslaught of dinners. We decided to just order combo plates as we never eaten here. The 1 star is because the egg drop soup was great! Thick and flavorful. Sadly, the combo plates tasted as if they have been sitting under warmer lights since yesterday. They looked unappetizing and tasted terrible. The empty table next to us left and for 45 minutes it was not bused. I hate sitting across from a table with dirty dishes. I have experienced some bad Chinese places here in Spokane and this one now tops the list. I dislike giving bad reviews. But this is deserved. Great egg drop soup, slow service, but nice server and terrible old tasting food. Never again!

Yelp
On the bad, cheap Chinese food scale this scored a 1/10. There are tons of other, cheaper, better Chinese spots in this little town. Order from somewhere else. They messed up the order and the food is worse than Panda Express.
google avatar

Beth K.

Yelp
Mediocre food took 3 hours for delivery. Everything needed seasoning. Some things were still warm, which was nice.

Suzette G.

Yelp
We arrived in town and checked into our hotel room late Sunday. I ordered Doordash and had Red Dragon delivered. Dinner was delicious! We ordered Mongolian beef and kung pao chicken. The food was delivered fast, hot and fresh! I was pleased with the freshness of the meat and vegetables. Great service, delicious food. I will order again from this restaurant.

Yelp
The Red Dragon has been a fixture in my imagination, since childhood. Thirty years of wondering, waiting, imagining... Let me just say: Wow. I make it a habit to order my favorite dish, (Beef and Broccoli) whenever I'm trying a new place, to get an idea of how the menu would taste. Years of wondering, waiting, and imagination weren't disappointed. This place has everything I wanted it to have, and more! The atmosphere is incredible, the waitstaff are attentive, and the food is worth the wait. I'll become a regular!!!
google avatar

Jerry M.

Yelp
I don't understand why red dragon has only two stars and I think they're one of the better restaurants in the Spokane area, my wife and I always like their food , there one of the better Chinese restaurants therefore given them a 3 stars Jerry
google avatar

Kristal P.

Yelp
Amazing food, awesome employees... Everything I order is great and every pickup is polite. Delivery or pick up... the food is always amazballs!! Great customer service every time!
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
They deliver (but you have to order over the phone) to the Super 8 On the 90 (near the petro) the food has always been good for american chinese and the delivery has always been super quick and friendly. I always order the combination appetizer plate and the wonton soup, it's very good. My boyfriend always gets the general Tso's and he says it's very good. I really don't understand the bad reviews.
google avatar

simon g.

Yelp
Food is bomb. Don't mess around and order from other spots. The food at Red Dragon is legit SF style. Find your jam on the menu and try. Keep it simple. Pork fried rice, chow fun all slamming. After COVID go to the bar for belly dancing. Place is legit yum++
google avatar

Chelsea R.

Yelp
A tad bit expensive. You'll get large portions when ordering. A sketchy Neighborhood and very filthy bathrooms.

Jenny T.

Yelp
Our order was messed up with grub hub. I called the restaurant directly, they had our order so I asked if I could pick it up. I went to the restaurant to get our order, when I showed up they made the entire order again because they wanted to make sure it was fresh. Not only was it fresh, it was delish. The customer service is top notch. We order here a lot and every time it has been fantastic and they always treat us like we are their best customers.
google avatar

Chisa U.

Yelp
The lady who took my order was nice but the food and atmosphere were definitely 1 star quality.
google avatar

Nancy A.

Yelp
Food was cold and gelatinous and monochromatic. Beige. Delivery took over 2 hours. Very very disappointed. Will not order from there again.

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
First time ordering from Red Dragon and it did not disappoint. The food was hot, delicious and satisfying. Will definitely be adding this restaurant to my list!
google avatar

Rhonda K.

Yelp
The food is typical American Chinese takeout no better or no worse than any of the others in the area

Matt F.

Yelp
Only reason you got a one out of me is because I have too. Ordered food over 2 hours ago. Delivery man showed up and said that he had the wrong order. He had no order. Let alone ours. Called 3 times. On hold forever passed between employees still nobody knew what the problem could be. Shame on you Red Dragon, shame on you. Sincerely M.G.F

Andrea W.

Yelp
I ordered from Red Dragan. Took forever for delivery. Then my order wasn't right. Called them they put me on hold and never made things right. I had friends rave about this restaurant. Only reason I even tried. Completely regret it. Never again

T O.

Yelp
A friend and I went to a concert and stayed in downtown Spokane. One night we decided to order Chinese food. Red Dragon said it cooks fresh food and it had a nice menu. The food didn't take that long to come to our hotel room. Very nice young man delivered it. I opened my box first. OMG #1,Almond Chicken. It was nothing like I have ever seen before Soggy breaded chicken with turkey gravy.. OMG #2 Then came the Sweet and Sour Pork..The sauce was a weird red color had a taste I cannot described. I know it wasn't but looked like fingernail polish, Truth..I think I'm trying to block it all out. OMG #3 Then came the breaded prawns. Ok, dipped one in the hot mustard sauce, which needed help too, and ate one. Edible. Bit into another and saw that they did not clean them. I saw the black vein which if you know is the poop shoot.. Chow mein, open a box of top ramen..... Bottom line, Just No....

Yelp
Food wasn't all that great. Ordered delivery and it took an hour and 1/2. Food was bland. I should have trusted the reviews.

Yelp
Worst food ever ! The parking lot was packed so we thought we would try it . One nite into my food and the warm not hot bite was disgusting . My hubby started eating and put his fork down too . We asked for the check paid it and walked out . Full plates left on the table .
