"We’re pretty sure Ratatouille works at Red Lentil. What other chef could come up with ingenious ideas like pistachio-coconut crusted tofu, oyster mushroom calamari, and nutty lasagna? We reached out to Pixar employees for verification, but they all said that another mouse had forced them all to sign strict NDAs. Nevertheless, you can still enjoy takeout and delivery from this place every day - order on their website. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

The food was good overall. The lemonade was too sweet for my taste, I wish it was homemade. The waffles were solid, an 8/10, and the French fries were amazing. The scrambled eggs with mozzarella cheese were enjoyable. Service was excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant itself is beautiful, making for a great dining experience. I can’t recall the lady and gentleman that served, but both were great.

Gobi Manchurian was amazing! The daily special tofu polenta was really nice, but something felt a bit lacking—maybe a certain spice. The avocado-based vegan chocolate mousse wasn’t for me, though my friend thought it was okay. Probably wouldn’t order that again if it’s on the menu.

Google
the food is creative and artfully prepared. some items were a bit bland/not well balanced. the shepherd’s pie seemed highly recommended but it had way too much mashed potatoes and mashed squash with not nearly enough of the “meat” crumble. overall too sweet and mushy. however the french fries and the oyster mushroom calamari were delicious.

Google
Food was good: menu ideas were intriguing. My dish, in particular, had great ingredients, but somehow it tasted like a reheated meal. Good, but could have tasted more fresh, rather than reheated food.

The food was excellent here. When going out for a bite, I typically choose a place that has meat on the menu. With this being a vegetarian/Vegan restaurant, I was very surprised with the good food quality and prices of the meals. The Grande Nachos were awesome and full of flavor. We Also enjoyed the Mexican pizza. I enjoy white sauce pizzas more frequently than red sauce. This was a quality meal with spinach, mozzarella, corn, avocado, and the crust tasted like they made the dough there. Very satisfied with the food and how quick the service was. As for the atmosphere, the place was well decorated and had a decent amount of room for comfortable seating considering the amount of room in the restaurant. It was very cold in the restaurant for 40 minutes till We ended up asking for them to turn the heat on. Warmed right up. For a Saturday night the wait was not very long. About 30 minutes after we arrived around 6pm. There is no call ahead seating.

Awesome family-run vegan/vegetarian spot serving up wholesome comforting dishes from a variety of global cuisines. Some dishes lean in the direction of whole foods/plant-based (like the salad bowls and the soups) while others are more straight-up comfort food (like nachos and pizza). I greatly appreciated that the menu designates which items contain coconut. They are overall very accommodating of dietary preferences. We started with the iconic red lentil soup that was absolutely delightful. It is hearty and filled with satisfying little bites of seasonal vegetables. Next, we had the eggplant caponata that was on the heavier side but irresistibly seasoned. The mantra salad bowl was a big winner; I would have loved if the biryani was made with brown rice, but overall it seemed extremely healthy but also filling and super flavorful. The TexMex enchilada was AMAZING (although the term “enchilada is used pretty loosely… clearly this thing was a burrito!) It was filled with delicious fresh veggies and black beans and topped with incredible spicy mole sauce. We had such a great, filling, nourishing meal, and this was just from the lunch menu! We can’t wait to come back and try the dinner menu sometime that had awesome offerings like Jamaican jerk tempeh. Overall, this was a great meal that reminded me of the kind of old-school vegan restaurants that are hard to find these days. It is worth the trip out from Boston for anyone who is in search of a healthy, delicious meal.

Google
My husband and I eat out every day- this restaurant is better than any place we’ve ever been and deserves a Michelin star. We’ve ate at places that had Michelin stars and were so mediocre. And they are vegan so they are literally saving animals and the planet. This is a gem of a vegan place in a not so vegan city and it’s our favorite.

Our first time here at the local vegan place in Watertown, the menu is very refreshing and very creative We had the Miso Soup, Shepherds Pie and the crowd favorite Gobi Manchurian

Yelp
Item(s) ordered: Pistachio & Coconut Herb-Encrusted Tofu with Corn Cake, Shishlik, Red Lentil soup, Nirvana Delight, coconut cake The Review: As you might be able to tell, for two people, we went absolutely ham while ordering at this place. With various dietary needs, it was a very special opportunity to see this many options for us. Long story short, everything was mouthwateringly delicious, fresh, and maintained complex flavors. The staff were fantastic, and made sure to accommodate dietary needs. This was truly one of my top dining experiences. I highly recommend Red Lentil, even if you need to make a trek out to Watertown.

Yelp
Really enjoy their brunch but also their dinner is just as amazing. Their pancakes and French toast are top notch and by default vegan. I like how they have specials each weekend with different fillings for their pancakes. I also really like their vegan omelette and love how fluffy and flavorful it is. They do a great job of making it seem eggy. I also went here for their special Christmas dinner and loved how tasty everything was and what a great value it was. The service is always friendly and prompt. It's a small restaurant but is nice and cozy and comfortable.

Yelp
We walked right in and did not have to wait. Water was brought to the table and asked about drinks. We ordered the Oyster Mushroom Calamari and Crispy Kale Chips. Both were perfectly seasoned and big portions. For entrees I had the butternut squash polenta, very different but very good. She had the pizza of the day, which was huge and delicious. Service was team based and very prompt. If you are vegan or vegetarian and tired of the usual, go visit Red Lentil. Well worth the drive.

Yelp
Food was beautifully presented but tastes, flavors were uninspired. Staff was very efficient and pleasant.

Yelp
When this restaurant opened the food was delicious: it's too bad that it has gone so downhill. Recently I ordered a noodle dish which the menu described as containing tofu, cabbage, mushrooms, onions and red pepper. But there were hardly any vegetables. I asked for garlic and ginger in place of soy sauce but could taste neither, and I have a strong sense of taste. Expect no spices other than cayenne pepper: apparently Mediterranean, North African or Indian spices are not in the repertoire. The whole dish, except the seitan cubes, was without salt. The noodles though abundant tasted of cardboard as did the dish as a whole. The chocolate cake has always had the stale taste of being in the refrigerator too long, and other dishes with one exception have been flavorless though the portions are generous.

Yelp
The food was so good I only captured two pictures!! Came here with my partner and we ordered the rutabaga soup, gobi Manchurian, mushroom calamari and the chimmichuri seitan. Wow! Food was flavorful, filling, had great flavors and was cooked to perfection. We went with the gobi base on reviews and they were right!! The perfect crisp shell, with just enough sauce and a soft inside. The soup had a nice flavor and wasn't too bitter for me. The service was great as well. Our waitress explained the portions and gave us time to decide on the meals. She must have overheard our decision as well because our entree came right on time when we were just trying to remember if we'd actually told her what we'd decided on! Talk about service! The night was pretty calm when we arrived but was starting to pick up for the dinner crowd by the time we left. All in all, it was a great meal and I'll definitely return for the atmosphere and the food!

Yelp
Nothing to say but WOW! Well, I suppose that I should add a few more things. It's very small place, just two handfuls of tables, very cozy. We had a reasonable mix of dishes, including a fried mushroom strips appetizer, lasagna, ravioli, paella, a saetan dish. Dessert was Black Forest cake and avocado chocolate mousse pie. Holiday dishes were 100% fantastic. Food, service, ambiance--many thumbs up! I almost hesitate to offer criticism, but I feel that it must be done. The menu lists quite a list of draft beers, but all appear to be canned beers. It doesn't really matter to me because I don't drink beer, but one should not offer draft and then not supply it. Also, one of the beers came out just under room temperature, with ice. Still, do not miss dining at the Red Lentil!

Linda H.

Yelp
Very accommodating service, cozy ambiance, Every question about the ingredients was answered and offerings were generous and very satisfying. We would return!

Pete J.

Yelp
Had a somewhat poor experience today. Drove a hour to get lunch to find they were serving brunch. The website should really have days and times at the top of each menu and not on a separate page. The staff was nice and got us an appetizer off the lunch menu however we were disappointed we could not have the vegan Ruben off the lunch menu. Please help diners avoid getting their hopes up by updating your website.

Yelp
Best place to eat Vegetarian food. Must try Mexican pizza and top it off with Sirancha (for spice lovers). Gobi Manchurian was good and crispy. I have tried better Lasagna than here. But still not bad. As an Indian vegetarian this place is heaven. I look forward to explore full menu options. Service was good. Cons Restaurant was quite loud on weekdays. But support locals.

Rafael P.

Yelp
This was my grandparents favorite restaurant, which is kind of a sick move since they were health conscious and mostly vegetarian since the 1950s. I wish there were more restaurants like this in the Boston area. The food is flavorful and tastes homemade. I love the chimichurri seitan, it's like vegan Thanksgiving but way better. The seitan is clearly made in house, it's so good. I also really like the butternut squash polenta. Definitely recommend this place if you are trying to eat healthy or are vegetarian or vegan. Not a lot of places like this so support it while we've got it!

Purvi M.

Yelp
Ordered the Shepard's Pie which was huge! Order only if you have a huge appetite. Best dishes we ordered were the oyster mushroom calamari, crusted tofu, ravioli and beet salad. All the dishes had similar spices. Dessert selection was amazing.

Kirtana S.

Yelp
Service is excellent and quick with only one server! The caponata was to die for. The jackfruit tacos, although they said mexican flavors, tasted just like Indian food. Still very delicious and the portions were very large.

David K.

Yelp
So many incredible meals here, this place is a gift from the heavens. Super healthy, super beautiful, super fresh, and lately the service has been better, I think it's one of the greatest restaurants in Massachusetts. Very excited that they opened. Also in Sharon, my wife has checked it out and liked it, and I hope to do the same soon. Absolutely loved my mantra, salad, falafel and fixings, delicious.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was so much better. Ambiance: clean and simple neighborhood restaurant. Opens at 5 and fills quickly

Yelp
After coming into Watertown for a job interview, I wondered whether I'd be able to find some solid vegan eats in the area. Red Lentil did not disappoint. There unfortunately was an upcharge for vegan cheese on the enchilada I rolled the dice on, but thankfully it proved to be absolutely worth it. The dish was more like a burrito than an enchilada, but I don't argue semantics with scrumptiousness. The service was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area too. As far as the ambiance goes, the place was calm and decked out with earthy appeal. The only downside is something out of the restaurant's control, and that's lack of parking. I did find a spot on the street around the corner, but the second I got out of the car, I got freaked out by dogs on either side of the street barking their brains out at me. One of 'em was about to charge at me too, but luckily the owner had it on a leash. "He won't hurt you," she promised...but I wasn't about to chance it. Fortunately, I found a different spot a little ways away from that.

Yelp
I had a bizarre experience here when I called in a take-out order, was told it would be 25 min. I came after 25 min and they didn't have my order in the system at all. I was told by one waitress that the other waitress forgot to send it to the kitchen. And that they would make it right then. But in the store I was asked for my name the order was under, but on the phone I was asked for my phone number. I specifically asked if they wanted my name on the phone, but she said no and asked for my number. So if they are putting in phone orders by phone number, why was I asked for my name in the store?? Are some waitresses putting in orders by name and some by phone number? When I thought of this I asked again at the desk if it could be under my phone number and was told no, it was really busy and the other waitress forgot to put in my order. Although I don't know if it was her or the other person. So I had to wait in the restaurant for more than 10 min, maybe 15, and I just got texted before this that someone was locked out so I was planning on going straight home after this to let them in, and it was pouring rain. So I had to sit in the restaurant thinking about someone left outside in the cold, pouring rain for another 10+ minutes bc they messed up my order.

Yelp
The world, or at least this neck of the woods, needs more vegetarian restaurants that have creative menus, good food, and options to make any entree gluten free and/or vegan. It'd be 5 stars for sure probably any time but a Saturday night around 6, which is when we arrived and happened to snag the next to last open table! Party of 3, one of whom is a g.f. vegan. We shared the cauliflower appetizer called Gobi Manchurian; it's cauliflower with Indian spices but not at all "spicy," fried. Normally I don't order fried food, but it wasn't greasy and was very tasty. Our entrees were excellent. My h. had the Rustic Paella. Loads of veggies, but he thought a bit more of them and less pasta would've been ideal. But it all had good flavor and texture and he didn't leave much at all! I enjoyed the Butternut Squash Polenta, it was perfect. Lots of mushrooms, some asparagus artfully arranged on top, squash, over grilled polenta triangles. I honestly don't recall what our vegan daughter ordered, just remember that she was thrilled to be in a restaurant where she had an entire menu to choose from. That is very rare! The only problem was our timing, I think. It's a small space and they do apparently a ginormous takeout business. We were seated right away, but having our orders taken and then brought to table took easily 30-40 minutes, if not more. For the first 20 it seemed like the line snaking out the door (they could use a vestibule on a cold night, we felt it every time the door opened) was picking up takeout, and you could see the kitchen counter piling up with filled containers that 2 people were wrapping up. No tables were being served for at least a 15-20 minute stretch. I'm glad for them that they do such good business but it definitely needed more balance that night, anyway. They have another location but should seriously consider expanding this one too; the customer base is clearly there for them! All's well that ends well, as it's been said by greater minds than mine . Our food was absolutely delicious, we left satisfied, and I'd definitely return when I'm in that area, but not on a Saturday night! I urge you to try it too!

Mari T.

Yelp
This place is amazing.... The menu has variety of food from all over the world and creative! I've ordered paella but it was very "wet" paella if that make sense. But tasty with orzo not with long grain rice. Juice selection was amazing too. The portion is big and price is good so you'll end up leaving with your tummy full and happy.

Robert B.

Yelp
The food is tasteless! I guess I'm not a vegetarian. The soup was actually broth! I'd never go back!!!

Eric B.

Yelp
We go to this place a few times a year, let's say it is our neighborhood vegetarian place. Over the years they have become more adventurous, I especial like that there are more mushrooms on the menu. I have never had anything that wasn't delicious here. The wine and beer list is good and pairs well with the menu. Last time were were here we had a calamari mushroom appetizer that was to die for. I adore mushrooms and this was high art. The restaurant is under staffed and they do as much business in takeout as they do in dinning. So be patient and tip well. The staff is quite cometary they are just spread thin. Tip well they deserve it.

Rakesh S.

Yelp
Amazing! Amazing! By far my favourite restaurant now in the Greater Boston area! The menu is a wonderful eclectic compilation of dishes with a vegetarian/vegan twist from around the globe. The gobi macnhurian and the seitan apps were awesome, along with the eggplant main which was big winner! Meat eaters were even so impressed with the menu and didn't miss their meat. My new goto place when in Boston! Thank you to the team at Red Lentil for an amazing meal!

Lisa C.

Yelp
Big a** portions and delicious food. What more can a girl ask for? I went here with my dad on a Saturday evening and we were able to get a table without waiting. They don't take reservations but you honestly don't need one. We both got the shepherd's pie which is a glorious twist on the usual version. It's vegan and I really loved the balsamic sauce on top. Let me tell you, it's not lacking in flavor. I'm not the biggest fan of red peppers but the gravy was so delectable, I think I'd eat pretty much anything doused in it. For dessert, I got the carrot cake. All their desserts are vegan and the carrot cake knocked my socks off. I can eat the non-vegan kind and even I would die for this carrot cake. It's the best I've ever had...vegan or not. The slice was absolutely massive too. If you're in doubt of getting a dessert, get the carrot cake! Our servers were all super nice and had a very good eye for details. They asked my dad and I if we wanted separate boxes for example which I never get asked. Winds up, we also did only want one box! So hats off to them! They did a fantastic job.

Yishai G.

Yelp
Great food and accommodating. Plus is Kosher (Please check current H Supervision) The Mexican Pizza was just delicious

Caitlin R.

Yelp
I've eaten here several times and have loved everything I've tried/my family has tried. The food is delicious, healthy, and nourishing. Two of my favorites are the cauliflower appetizer and the Greek pizza. Highly recommend!!

Brooke Z.

Yelp
i've been coming here pretty often to pick up lunch and they have a ton of vegan & vegetarian options! - notes - both cash and card are accepted! - atmosphere - the inside of the restaurant is pretty spacious with a fair amount of tables. it has a casual vibe, and groups of friends or family tend to come here pretty often from what i've seen. they have some cute chalkboards with their menu specials, which compliment the wooden furniture quite well. - overall experience - came to order takeout during both times that i've been here and the experience has been pretty smooth! i ordered at the register and waited for around 15 minutes for my food after paying. the staff here are pretty friendly so there's not much to complain at all. - recommendations - highly recommend that you must try their red lentil soup! 1/30/23 -red lentil soup: if you're getting this to go, they won't provide bread unless you specifically ask for it! the container of soup is pretty big and seems to fit enough for 2 cups. the soup has red lentils, seasonal veggies, fresh herbs, and spices. it's super comforting on a cold day, and each bite has tons of flavor! i was a big fan of it and could definitely see myself getting it again. $8 for soup might seem pretty expensive, but the portion was really filling! (5/5) 3/6/23 -sweet potato quesadilla: this is one of the options on their mains lunch menu; the inside of the quesadilla has roasted sweet potatoes, grilled asparagus, roasted plum tomatoes, spinach, pepper jack cheese, and fresh tomato salsa on the side. i personally wasn't the biggest fan of this because it just tasted a bit too veggie-forward. the spinach was throwing me off because there was just too much of it, and it didn't pair very well with the cheese. the sweet potatoes were delicious, but i just wished that there was more of it inside. i thought the quesadilla was objectively good for a healthy vegetarian option, but i felt like there was something missing. because there were already so many veggies inside, the salsa didn't really add much to it either. for $15, you get a pretty big quesadilla cut into 4 pieces, but i can't see myself getting this again. (3/5)

Yelp
Great food, and service is excellent! Food is tasty, healthy, and looks and smells great!

Kenneth B.

Yelp
Very good advice and good options. Food is very tasty and fresh. The juices are well done . Portions are good and it's a great place for family style/sharing of food.

Lauren D.

Yelp
My husband and I drove almost an hour to check out Red Lentil after reading reviews & perusing their menu online. We are trying to incorporate more plants in our diets. This restaurant is AMAZING. The menu is diverse. We had the seitan app, lasagna, and a special of the day for entrees. The flavors popped in every dish. The service was fantastice. Staff are friendly. We will return!

Fred M.

Yelp
Decided to give this restaurant another try. This time we were promptly seated by the only person on the floor. She was handling the duty of hostess, waitress and bussing tables. We were served our menus and water, then we waited ... and waited ... and waited. As the waitress scurried by she was constantly apologizing for the wait, not only to us but to the other patrons as well. After 20 minutes we left. I do not blame the poor waitress who was doing the best she could, seep she is not yet one to be blamed for this situation.

Chaya B.

Yelp
I've been waiting to eat here since I saw it on TV from the Phantom Gourmet. As suggested, we started out with the oyster mushroom calamari. Delish! We also had the kale chips, they were okay. I had the Jamaican jerk dinner. The Tempe was kinda nutty. Coleslaw was good, Sesame oil flavor, roasted Brussels sprouts and sweet potato. Other dish was nutty lasagna. I didn't taste it but my friend finished it, so I guess it was good. And last the carrot cake I didn't like at all but they let me switch it up for the tarimassu, which was good. Tasted like a cross between tiramisu and a bread pudding w/ coffee. My first vegan experience out, was lovely, the staff wicked nice and super friendly!

Brent D.

Yelp
Delightful clean pleasant interior. Happy helpful wait staff. Great menu variety. Delicious food

Guenter S.

Yelp
I highly recommend this restaurant for vegan food in general but even more so for breakfast/brunch. Lots of delicious vegan choices. Extremely friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We shared a French toast which was very good.

Christophe R.

Yelp
Discovered this place today and was not disappointed! Perfect place for a healthy dinner with vegan options. I recommend to try their Sesame Encrusted Seitan Strips - Delicious! Great job Chef!

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Very very boring food. I want to like it but have tried it twice and it is just mediocre. They used to be Kosher and lost their certification.

Matt K.

Yelp
Returned here after many years and tried the Jamaican Jerk Tempeh. Unique taste and good flavor profile. My wife tried the Macrobiotic bowl to mixed reviews. Definitely worth a visit! Good service to boot.

Emily L.

Yelp
Once again, a ride share driver's recommendation proves to be a winner. My in-laws were visiting and wanted a more veggie-heavy meal, so we checked out this locally-owned cafe on a summer weekday. Despite it being a late lunch (around 2pm), the place was still quite busy, and it took 5-10 minutes for us to be seated. I am gluten and dairy free, and it was so nice to have ample (and clearly labeled) options on the menu. We shared two drinks to start off, the Bunny Spice smoothie (light and sweet, good for sharing) and the Detox juice (you could actually taste the ginger!). For our mains, my mother-in-law and I split the seasonal fennel and citrus salad (doesn't look like it's on the menu anymore) and the Greek pizza with vegan cheese and a gluten free crust. I was SO happy to find a local option that has this vegan/gluten free combo! Both dishes were quite tasty, with the salad offsetting the richness of the pizza. The crust was fine taste-wise as far as GF ones go, although it did get a little soggy by the end. My father-in-law had Ohm burger roll up (rather like a burrito except sub the tortilla for a chapati), which he couldn't stop raving about. The sweet potato fries that came with it were on the softer side but still super tasty. The service was a little slow and the tables rather close together, but overall I would come back again and try out dinner or make a reservation for a meal on a weekend.

Christina K.

Yelp
The food was delicious and our server Panos was excellent. He really went above and beyond, answering all of our questions about the menu and the service was very efficient as well as friendly. This was the best vegan food I've had in a long time. I had the Chimichurri Seitan, the Eggplant Caponata, and the ginger miso soup and I would order all of them again.

Jenn R.

Yelp
Really sad to write this, because I am a staunch supporter of all things vegan. I was here about 5 years ago, and didn't return because, despite the great food, the staff was surly and unwelcoming. People get enough poor treatment in the world without having to endure it while they are paying customers at a restaurant. I tried them again this week, ordering a take-out vegan vegetarian meal for 6 for Thanksgiving. I wrote to them to say I'd have to pick it up later due to a (very serious) family emergency. When my young (vegan) daughter called to confirm it would still be available, they angrily told her, "No. We threw it in the trash," then pretty much hung up on her. She would have re-ordered. She also would have offered to pay for the food we didn't pick up. But we weren't given the opportunity. I get it, if they want to be complete sticklers about when meals are picked up, that's their right. But their chronic agressiveness was is unnecessary.

Entrees taste awful. Seitan overwhelms the menu. Bland and flavorless. Sauces and gravies are underwhelming in taste. The red lentil soup lacked anything remarkable. Entrees are overpriced. Entrees should have more variety and whole foods that aren't cooked to oblivion. Staff are kind.

Yelp
Meat-water here, and I'll definitely be returning to Red Lentil. Very delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Their dishes are creative and unique. I ordered the moussaka pizza (roasted veggies, goat cheese) and the paella. Portions were large and the flavoring was perfect. The drink menu has a large selection of alcohol, and it's very affordable ($4.50 for beers!). Service was friendly and efficient. No parking lot - on street only. Went in the evening on a weekday and had no issue finding parking. Entrees were in the $15 range, while apps and salads were $10 range. Overall, great experience!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Red Lentil ever since the first month I relocated to Boston. The restaurant came highly recommended by a vegetarian bartender working at another vegetarian restaurant I visited when I asked them about other good vegetarian restaurants in the area. I stopped by on a Saturday evening and was glad I was able to score a table without advanced reservation. From the look, the place was small and crowded..so I'd recommend booking ahead of time if you can or...drfinitely go with a small party (best if it's just 2 people...but can go up to 4). I had a chance to try their Gobi Manchurian and their pesto tofu with corncakes. The food portion is definitely large..but that sort of balanced out by a relatively pricier side of their vegetarian dishes anyways. I found the food, however, to be pretty bland and I wish they were cooked with more spice/flavor. The one huge turnoff was service. The waiter who waited my table just couldn't care about me dining there. We barely interacted throughout the duration of the meal. Not once did he check on me about my meals or if I might want anything. I asked about the desserts, and he just abruptly said to look at the board..and didn't seem to want to explain or recommend anything. Only once I decided to order a raspberry cheesecake when he said they just sold the last piece (would have appreciated if he mentioned the fact that a piece would run out soon when I askes about desserrs even before I ordered my main courses). He also didn't care to trt to recommend anything else...so I asked for my check instead. The guy just left and asked another lady to drop and take care of my bill instead. Couldn't care or give a dann I guess. This type of service was just plain lacking in my mind. It's a good place for vegetarian..but given such bad setvice and its location that's slightly out of Boston/Cambridge area...I probably wouldnt stop by again unless I'm with a vegetarian person who may want to try this place.

Yelp
I have a couple of go-to items I order from Red Lentil but whenever I stray from those, I regret it. The sweet potato fries were burnt, completely soggy, and inedible-- the worse I've ever eaten. The kale salad was tasteless and uninspired (I had a similar salad at B.Good last week that left Red Lentil's in the dust). The miso soup was fine. I'm giving it two stars because of the soup. So overall I spent $30 and most of my dinner went in the trash bin.

Yelp
Very allergy friendly and great selection! Textures are perfection--great for all food lovers. Chill, unpretentious setting.

Yelp
As fans of Red Lentil, we were excited to realize they offered catering when we were planning our wedding for this past summer. We were so happy with how everything turned out and got so many compliments on how tasty the food was. One guest even commented "all weddings should be vegetarian-much better food!" Pankaj, the owner, was so helpful as we picked out dishes and turned them into a menu, giving us perspective on what flavor profiles would work well as a collective. And he helped us think through certain nuances that weren't on our radar. When we wanted something a bit different than cake for dessert, Pankaj suggested vegan truffles and brigadeiros, desserts not on the menu but that his partner baker has made in the past. They were delicious-rich but not too heavy, flavorful, and pretty to look at. Overall, Pankaj was a helpful resource and is a very "tell it to you straight" kind of person, which proved really useful as we navigated all the layers of wedding planning. One thing to note is Red Lentil is a restaurant first, then a caterer. If you're looking for something super buttoned up and with a primary coordinator, this may not be the right fit. But if you're looking for a really good price point, unique and flavorful food, and are willing to bring some organization to the process, Red Lentil is a superb choice for your wedding or other events.

Yelp
This will be my second time at Red lentil. Its safe to say this spot is my new favorite vegan restaurant. It's very intimate but with enough wiggle room. The vibes are super chill and relaxed. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are a vegan like me and tired of the same fast food vegan places Red lentil is where it's at. Now to the food. The presentation is absolutely beautiful. The food tastes even better. My favorite things so far are the grande nachos, Sesame-Encrusted Seitan Strips, Oyster Mushroom Calamari (ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR!) and French toast. They have an amazing wine, beer and dessert selection. The peanut butter cheesecake is mouthwatering. I highly recommend that. I

Yelp
This place was amazing! My fiancé has been vegetarian for almost a year and it can be difficult finding places to eat that offer many vegetarian options - this place has such a large variety we were both blown away. The service was good, the food was so delicious and the portion sizes were large. After our appetizer we already discussed coming back again! Im a flexitarian but would happily give up meat if I could eat here everyday

Yelp
Incredibly rude staff. Very slow service and general don't seem to care. Food is also sub par and over priced.
