Year-round markets connect you to regional farmers, Gulf seafood, and artisan makers. 225 Magazine frequently highlights its seasonal programming, and the Saturday downtown market often pairs with the arts market.

This was a solid little farmer's market w/ quite a few interesting booths selling interesting items. We purchased rum, muscadine wine, bread, and salsa. There were quite a few booths selling meat products of various origins but since neither of us partake of meat; our options were limited.

Was a good visit with fresh items. Picked up some nice healthy plants as well as fresh veggies. Friendly service.

Love, love, LOVE the Red Stick farmer's market. One of the Saturday vendors sells a fresh cooked breakfast. 🍳🥓. The prices and quality of everything sold here is top notch. 🥩🥦🥪🍓🍞🍧🥒🥕. Try Cutters meat. Especially Paw Paw Gaylons sausage! You will never buy anything else!!

SPECTACULAR!☆☆☆☆☆ Every weekend for 22 years is what one of the farmers related to me. Fresh, Fresh, Fresh, Happy & Invigorating! This is a part of my Hometown and Downtown Baton Rouge (Red Stick). It looks like a smaller version of Ponce City Market (the Old Sears Store) in Historic Fourth Ward near the Beltline. Great presentation, event, and vendors (children and young adults were involved as well). I'm so happy and inspired. Thanks River City Planners and Citizens.

I enjoyed my visit to Red Stick Farmer's Market. I got there late in the morning and there wasn't a whole lot in the way of produce. However, there were vendors with artisan cheeses, breads, teas, coffees, cakes, jams/jellies/preserves and baked goods. Everything from microgreens to fresh seafood to hand made butter! The area was clean, vendors were polite and have great personal stories about their items and businesses. BUY LOCAL!

Great choice of plants and veggies. Ponchatoula strawberries are soooo sweet. Lots of leafy veggies plus the normal vendors selling meat, breads, eggs, and other great foods. And the 🍄 farm products are fabulous.

I pick up Cutrers meat each Saturday in the bottom floor of the parking garage. It's the best tasting meat in the entire area for bargain prices.

We ride our bikes there almost every Saturday to buy produce, eggs, meats, and sometimes plants for our garden. Plus it is right around the corner from Matherne's, so we can pick up whatever else we may need for the week in one trip!
