We had such a wonderful time at the Red Stick Farmers Market in Baton Rouge! I brought three of my grandchildren, and it was such a fun, engaging experience for all of us. They especially loved going from vendor to vendor collecting stamps—it really kept them excited and involved.
The weather was absolutely perfect, which made walking the market even more enjoyable. Of course, we couldn’t leave without visiting the plant vendors. We picked up a strawberry plant, mustard greens, and broccoli seedlings—such a great way to spark their interest in growing food.
This market is lively, welcoming, and family-friendly. A beautiful way to spend the day while supporting local growers and makers. We’ll definitely be back.
