Red Zeppelin Pizza

Honestly pretty good food and great atmosphere. Sandwich was really good and pretty large. Their pizza was thin crust and perfectly cooked with plenty of toppings! Plenty of beer/ wine / spirits to choose from to go with your order if wanting. Garlic and cheese breads were both tasty and crunchy!

On Tuesday 4-8-25, about 6PM, my friend and I visited Red Zeppelin for the first time. We chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. The server, Olive, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered jalapeno bread and a Mamma Mia pizza to share. Both were good. Could have used a little more cheese on the pizza, but it was good. Also, the pizza crust was very thin and crunchy, which is a little hard to chew. Would have liked options for the crust. Overall, it was a great experience and will probably go again!

Delicious Led Zepplin themed specialty menu, make your own with large topping selections including anchovies!!! No high-end toppings like goat cheese, but great for what it is! Super great pizza! Crust comes on the thin side. We split a Mothership, Hummus, & Jalapeño cheezy bread. Alcoholic drinks available & beer. Local Louisiana Abita is always a great choice.

Anna and Katie were fantastic. Helpful and polite, friendly! I came in for take out and stayed because of the staff and customers being so friendly, I wanted to stick around and enjoy the people! Food was excellent. I’m kind of a pizza snob and this pizza was perfectly done, tasty, and just the right about and at a great price! Thank you for the great experience!

This is a must try place. It’s thin crust pizza and really cool pizza choices on the menu. I love the “Bou Ray” pizza (boudin!!). The wait staff is some of the best around. The service is quick and personable. The pizza is amazing - just don’t forget to try the cheese breads as well!!

Ordered pepperoni slices since it was my first time trying it out and didn't want to order a whole pie. It was baked the way I wanted without asking for it to be well done. The only small thing I can say is that pepperoni was too crisp and shriveled up for my liking. It still tasted decent. Other than that I would highly recommend for good customer service and good vibes.

Was visiting LA and doordashed this pizza so can’t comment on service or atmosphere but I can say I wished I’d ordered a larger pizza! Ordered a pepperoni 10”.. was thin crust and sauce, cheese and pepperoni was so tasty.

Had a great meal recently at this iconic Baton rouge pizza joint, we came at lunch time on a Saturday and were pleased with everything about our visit from the atmosphere being close to LSU to the service that was second to none ( our server Lauren was like a pizza wizard knowing every detail and quirky question we asked of her), and the actual pizza was a solid 9 out of 10 on our scale. We went for the vegetable pizza and the Greek one and tho toppings were so.e of the freshest I've ever had!! 100% recommended and will visit again for sure

Staff is always friendly. Food is always fresh and tasty. Great for kids and groups. Outdoor seating is nice

It's pizza. How much more do I need to say. It's very good pizza with a cool atmosphere on the deck. The Greek salad was great and healthy. The mama Mia pizza hit the spot and may be a new favorite. The server was fun and helpful. I can't wait to come back and try other pizzas.

Pizza here is really good here for starters. My fav is the alligator sausage on the pizza (a MUST)!! They also have a great patio to enjoy food/drinks. The place also has a lot of cool decor if you like classic rock. Service is friendly and just tried their half baked cookie for dessert. OMG, so freaking good!!!

After numerous recommendations. I came expecting semi-good pizza, being in Louisiana. This might be the worst pizza I've bought from a restaurant. So floppy and greasy you could barely hold it, my stomach is actually aching as I type this. Flavorless crust and almost no sauce. Although I asked for extra cheese I didn't know I'd receive enough to constipate a cow. Service was very poor, but It isn't the worst I've had (shoutout fiery crab) Ambiance is neat.

Great lunch special, this is delicious pizza for a good price. $5.50 for a huge slice (actually two), nice atmosphere

Pizza was amazing! I had the Mothership and it was delicious. The crust is thin and crispy and cooked perfectly. They have a small dining area with a good size patio which would be nice if the weather was cooperating. I ordered mine to go, but the ladies behind the bar were very friendly and engaging. I had a wonderful experience with a pickup order which is rare sometimes. Great spot for pizza and a drink!

Love the pizza here! During this visit, my husband and I ordered a 14 inch pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and roasted garlic. It was delicious! The crust, sauce, and meat toppings were so good. I was disappointed with the roasted garlic this time since it was pretty burnt. This has never happened here before but everything still tasted ok and it didn't ruin the taste of the pizza. The 14 inch pizza was the perfect amount for the two of us to share. Service was fast, our waitress was very nice, and we love the outdoor seating area that this place has. One of my favorite places to get pizza in town.

They close at 9:00 but turn the oven off at 8:30. Not very good customer service! Why post hours if you close 30 minutes before posted time.

The pizza was tasty but also the reason for 3 stars. The crust was ridiculously thin and the toppings were not spread all the way out to the crust (there was a ring of sauce only between a center circle of toppings and the crust). Also got garlic bread appetizer which was very underwhelming. So I felt things were overpriced for what we got. Service was good, there was an error with our order which was caught and corrected by the staff before we left with our take out order. I thought the ambiance was also nice. We were visiting from out of town and stopped by, ordered, then waited to take back to hotel. I feel like they had a decent selection of alcohol and their outdoor seating would be a good place to have a drink and chat with friends at night.. But being with two underage kids in the middle of the day with the heat and humidity...we just wanted to get somewhere with air conditioning to eat. Fans of NY style pizza may like the food more than we did. Nothing about the food would make me tell someone to avoid the place...but there was nothing special about it to make me think if I'm back in Baton Rouge I'll go there again.

This pizza is my favorite. We stop here EVERY TIME we drive through Baton Rouge. It's a light pizza and you can taste every ingredient. The crust is perfect and never soggy. I wish they would sell T-shirts or sweatshirts

Thought I'd give another update since I've recently tried a new specialty pizza. We decided to pick up an order through the drive through, the wait was really really long, but we finally got our pizza after about 15-20 min. We got half Al-Freddie Mercury and half Mamma Mia, both were so good, I loved the red peppers. It was a delicious meal, and honestly I can't decide which pizza is my favorite anymore. I've now had the whole lotta love, al-freddie mercury, the meatza, the mothership, the mamma mia, the heartbreaker, and the bou-ray. All are great. Still holding out hope that the bou-ray is still good and that the last time I got it was just an off night. I would take off a star for the long wait, but I think the food made up for it, I was pretty happy with my choices.

A fun pizza place in the Southdowns areas! I always pick this pizza up when I am over that way, and I am always happy that I stopped to get something! I usually get the Caprese salad, which is just mozzarella, tomoatoes and pesto... delicious! I could eat so many of these lol! Of course, pizza is a MUST! I like how the crust is on the thinner side, so you aren't eating a ton of bread. The red sauce is on point, to me not too sweet and not too saucy, it is just right. The small is a perfect size for a personal pizza, I eat almost the whole pizza everytime. Such a fun environment in a busy part of town! I love how there is outdoor seating and indoor seating. There is a drive thru, which I probably go through more than dining in, and it is always busy so it is a little slow when you go through the drive thru, but the food is worth it, I promise! Parking is kind of limited, but there is a shopping complex right behind the it, and there is plenty of parking back there.

Usually order out. When I eat there, the ambience is always great. Food is amazing. For pizza, highly recommend.

Yumm-O pizza!!! I can't review dining in at Red Zeppelin as I chose the take and bake option. I love that they offer this because there are times after a long day at work that I just want to stay home and catch up on my Netflix!! The pizza comes ready to bake with instructions so that everything comes out perfect! This pizza is so so good. Everything about is good.. crust thin and crispy and the quality of the toppings can't be beat! I highly recommend picking up a pizza next time you just want to stay at home!!

First don't get on me for not ordering pizza! lol. First time here and it was very enjoyable. Out door seating with the the large overhead fan made for a relaxed atmosphere. Amy my server was the best made great suggestions with my current diet restrictions and let me tell you the food was great. Some of the better wing that I've had. ( ate at pluckers previous night) and the wing here were on point! I'm also a big fan of the Greek salads and another great hit! Will be coming back and trying their pizza. Thanks

Pizza was yummy. Service was good. Parking here is never fun. Restroom was clean. If sitting inside it can be kind of loud.

Best pizza I've tried in a long time, the staff is friendly and their beer is ice cold! What else do you need?

The food is amazing!! The service is ok.. the ambience is nice unless you sit outside summertime and you know it's uncomfortable to eat when it's hot. Otherwise it's wonderful !!

Very good pizza, some of the best I've had in a long time. I got pepperoni, mushroom, jalapeno. You can tell they have high quality ingredients and take pride in their pies. They have anything you could ask for from specialty pizzas to build your own. Nice selection of beers on tap while you wait at the bar. I will absolutely be back. One bite everybody knows the rules!!!

Solid pizza. Service is always good and enjoy the atmosphere outside. Good times but wish there were better lighting outside after sunset. I'd go for the medium or large sizes as they make the small a little differently (it's a bit thicker if you like that style)

Came here to get the girls out of the house. The place was super cute. Parking was terrible. But the inside was clean too. Our server was amazing. I ended up getting cauliflower crust pizza and I got the enchilada pizza. The server was super helpful about what to get on the menu. The girls and my fiancé loved their pizza. Will def come back and try all of their speciality pizzas !

I have been to Red Zeppelin a few times and sometimes very good and sometimes not good. Perhaps they have a different chef every time I go. This day I got a pizza to bring home to go and the chicken was so dry and the whole pizza taste overcooked. I've had good experience dining in here before but the inconsistency keeps me away because I don't know if the pizza will be good the day I go.

They make really good pizza here!! The staff is Jimmy on the spot and keep your glass full. They have guitars on the wall and album covers for eye candy! There's outdoor seating indoor seating and a pack of young people serving you! PARKING sucks. There's a steep hill and not many spots close to the restaurant. We enjoyed our visit!!

I go here often and always enjoy the thin crust pizza they offer and the wings Paul style (cooked longer). The service is always okay but the servers often get distracted having conversation and whatnot. The vibe is nice and casual, but sometimes feels a little old timey depending on the music.

The pizza here is perfect. It has flavor that I remember pizza tasted like as a kid. They take up the flavors to a whole new level. I've been here about 5 times over that last year (I live a few hours away) and each time our food and service is stop on. Love sitting on the patio rather it's hot or freezing cold because it set up to be comfortable for all weather.

The food is great. I can promise you there's not a better pizza place in Baton Rouge. I've tried every appetizer and they are all delicious. I've tried most of their specialty pizzas and it's delicious. If you go here ask Brody to make your pizza!

A friend and I sat there 30 min and still no one came to our table to take our order. The waitress told us to seat ourselves, we didn't even get a menu. Needless to say we left because we had to get something to eat because we were on our lunch break Everyone else was already served and eating. Another waitress held conversation with ppl at another table. Totally ignoring us! We are both from out of town and went there because it's close to our job. It was very uncomfortable. I would have never stopped there or left had I known this is how they do business!

Horrible food and horrible service. Pizza was inedible and nauseating to even look at. Our service was terrible and we were not served or spoken to in a timely manner whatsoever. Overpriced for horrible pizza and service.

The pizza was okay. They serve thin cracker crust-style pizza. We ordered A 14" Meatza and an order of jalapeno cheese bread. The Pizza had a good amount of topping. The downside for me is I wish it had more sauce and cheese. The Cheese bread was a cool concept. It was po'boy bread with jalapeno and cheese on top. The service could have been better. We had 3 people serve us. The girl who was supposed to bring our food walked right past us and asked two other tables was our pizza theirs. It was just unorganized. But everyone was nice. I liked the old-style dinner/drive to Decore and the outdoor seating. I wish we could have set outside the weather was perfect this weekend. Overall, our experience was just okay, It could have been better, and thankfully it wasn't worse.

I ordered a pizza through DoorDash twice. The first time, the pizza was hot, cheesy, and pretty good. The second time, NO GO. Cold pizza, which doesn't make sense because it's down the street and around the corner. And the pizza was very thin. Maybe I got a bad day. I also had to wait for my pizza when I went inside for quite some time. There was just one person sitting at the bar while everyone else sat outside. Not pulling any cards, but I was the only black customer there. The first order was via delivery.

A friend and I shared the 16" margarita pizza. It was quite delicious. The flatbread was crisp, the cheese was placed randomly, and it had green pesto sauce splattered on that my friend liked and I didn't really. I still enjoyed it though. The waitress we had was nice, and she replaced my friend's mom's sprite after she revealed that the syrup hadn't worked. The bathrooms were quite funky looking (not in a necessarily bad way), and the toilet was a little wobbly. There were no towels left and the air dryer didn't work so I had to wipe my hands on my shorts and shirt.

It's a super fun and chill hang out drinking and pizza place. The inside seating is small so most of the seating is outside. There is shade, tons of huge fans, and lots of tvs though. And I love this pizza. It's a thin crust without being too thin and hard and it actually has flavor unlike a lot of pizza places. Their wings are good. Lots of topping options and pasta and salads and sandwiches. It's a very chill environment and they have great beer taps. Bring your growler on Tuesdays to get filled. Happy hour has great prices and gluten and cauliflower crust too. But I have never tried it

I stayed in Baton Rouge this weekend. I just picked up pizza from there. Had thin crust pineapple ham and thin crust supreme. The pizza is horrible!!! Dry no sauce. Expensive. I should have order dominos. I am not picky and never complain. I wanted pizza so bad and a friend bragged about this place. I went inside and the atmosphere was great, pizza no so much. I asked for dressings, ranch and Catalina, and was told they don't have dressings. What pizza place doesn't have dressing to go on pizza. Highly disappointed!!!!

Deliciousness! Tried it for the first time on yesterday. Great service and Great food. Marty was awesome. I will be back. Pizza was awesome-great crust cooked just right. Wings were the bomb! And the Caprese Salad was delicious as well.

Excellant pizza! Get the Mothership! It's got everything on it! Drive thru is tiny and sucks, but you can eat there if you want to go in or sit outside.Tap on the window at the drive thru!

not a bad pie but not great either. Maybe I am too harsh since I live outside New Haven and have the best pizza in the country in my back yard. I also grew up in NJ and was raised on boardwalk slices and trips to NYC for pizza. I mean, my account picture is a New Haven pizza, so you know where my affinity is. This may be the best pizza in the area and I'm glad it was close to my hotel. It's a thin crust. More like a pita consistency than an actual dough. The closest thing I can compare it to is a run of the mill frozen bar pizza. Didn't strike me as the freshest ingredients or a superb sauce but as I said, it wan't bad.

Yelpers steered me to this place and boy it didn't disappoint. Maddie, our server, was so sweet and professional. Started off with the cheese sticks and they were crunchy and gooey. I did the build your own pizza which for me was delicious. Hubby had the Bou-Ray pizza and said it was excellent!! Will definitely come back when visiting our daughter in Vet School

Finally tried this spot out. So glad we did! I didn't take advantage of their beer special, but they def had some great local options! The crust was great, so many toppings to choose from! The only reason my husband agreed to go was bc they had anchovies, haha! The sauce was really tasty too! The roasted garlic is a must! We dined outside, honestly it was a bit windy for that, but was still fun. Our waitress Ally was amazing! So sweet, attentive and was great about explaining the to go, drive through, order ahead and take n bake options. Will def be back!

So far- it's the best pizza we've found in Baton Rouge. We had a traditional pepperoni pizza which my son really enjoyed and we had a margarita pizza with a delicious pesto drizzle on it. Can't evaluate the interior or the drinks, because we placed a take-out order. The pizza was great. The crust was thin but crispy and the toppings were evenly distributed. The woman who helped us I. The drive-thru/pick-up window was very friendly.

I visited this place yesterday on Perkins sat in the parking lot and ordered a Meatza with extra cheese the lady told me 25mins for a wait time I went to the drive thru after 20 minutes I had to call inside to get someone to come to the window to pick up my order the pizza was not hot at all it barely had any toppings on it and I don't think it had my extra cheese. It was the worse pizza I have had in a long time I could have done something else with my $30 and I will never go back again. I don't know who they have cooking in there kitchen but they need to be replaced

Food is always amazing. Literally everything is good from the hummus to wings, to sandwiches. We've tried almost all the pizza's on the menu and you can't go wrong with any of them. Great atmosphere too and you can bring your dog.

I was so disappointed. Their 10" crust is no longer thin. I DETEST thicker crusts so I ate the toppings and threw out the rest. Ugh! And I complained to the waitress and she didn't do ANYTHING! She saw me throwing out ALL OF THE CRUST EXCEPT FOR TWO BITES!

I love the $5.00 calzones on Monday. The service and food are excellent! Kudos to Red Zeppelin Pizza!
