Generally the food was pretty good, we came for the Peking duck and had called in ahead of time to reserve it. Shrimp & truffle dumplings: this was delicious, so rich and flavor (but $$$$) Shrimp stuffed crispy chicken: this tastes the best when hot (and crispy obv), very interesting but I think the chicken itself lacked a lil flavor. Peking duck: the duck in general was good but I wouldn’t say it is authentic unfortunately. They gave plenty of cucumbers and green onions though, which was good! Lobster fried rice: also $$$$$ - the lobster was a bit fishier than I had originally expected and the rice a bit soggy unfortunately. The drinks were also pretty good and we liked the vibe as well! Definitely an expensive place though

My partner is a great fan of Chinese food, while I’m not a huge one. She enjoyed every bit of our evening and admittedly so did I! The cocktails were very creative and complemented the dishes nicely. We had the crispy beef, five flavour chicken dumpling, broccoli and mushroom main and the duck with noodles. All were amazingly delicious and special, not too fatty and very juicy. Will go back again.

Honestly, the food is pretty good, but not the best value. The Peking duck is one of the best I’ve had in nyc so far… but not the best I’ve had for what I’m paying. Dumplings were delicious, but for ~$20 avg. for 4 small dumplings, it’s hard to justify that spend. However, since I did enjoy my meal, I would come back for the right occasion.

The food here was amazing! The Peking duck was absolutely delicious, but all the other dishes were also very good. We ordered a few to share - lobster, fried rice, and soup dumplings. Our server was super friendly and gave us great recommendations of dishes to try!

Oxtail dumplings: outrageously delicious. Crispy beef: so crispy that I wondered how it was made, and what percent is actually meat. Peking duck: I thought the pancakes were especially tasty and texturally nice for their flour dusting. The duck itself I liked, but no more than the Peking duck I've had at lower prices. It's served with three sauces, one hoisin-based, one with I think cranberry that was interesting, and ordinarily there's a peanut sauce that we substituted for the hoisin sauce due to a nut allergy. It's also served with miso-based shot (to drink!). Only criticisms are the price point mentioned above, and the fact that we were seated at a communal table. At this price, that surprised me.

Another great restaurant that serves dim sum in a cozy and comfortable place. I feel it's super high end Chinese food because their putting exotic ingredients like black truffles. The staffs are friendly and attentive. The food was jam pack with all sorts of flavor. I recommend trying the soup dumpling with black truffle, just wow explosion of flavor from start to finish. Overall even though the price is high to eat here to me it's well worth it.

For Chinese food this place was surprisingly very good. The interior is very simple and all space is used for maximum seating (obviously not during Covid). The servers and service was exceptional. We were advised to order with our gut and they were not wrong. The drinks were delicious, not sweet but smooth. The food was well prepared and flavorful. We odered the crispy beef, chicken dumplings, snow pea shrimp sumplings, egg roll (massive), crispy fried rice, short ribs, three chilly chicken and key lime pie. All were delicious but the three chilly chicken wasn't anything to rave about.

One of our new favorite restaurants! Super fresh, elevated Chinese. The Peking duck hit that perfect sweet spot between crackling skin and succulent meat. The pea vine in garlic sauce, bacon and egg fried rice, xiao lang bao were all outstanding. Plus everyone was so nice. A perfect Christmas lunch in NYC!

Came to RedFarm on a Saturday night while searching for a good dinner spot in the village. My friend worked around the area and mentioned she'd been meaning to try this place cause she heard good things. It didn't disappoint.... The staff was very friendly at the bar and the Old Fashion with lavender was probably the best I've ever had in my life. Everything was so good but a few stand out dishes were the bacon/egg fried rice, crispy beef, and ribs. Loved that the website had picture of each item so I can get a picture of what I wanted to devour before I arrived. I was not a huge fan of the shrimp stuffed shishito poppers. Also wasn't a fan of the fois gras tart. Wasn't sure if it was trying to be an app or dessert but I wouldn't recommend this. Such a wonderful experience. Not overly loud also so it's a great place to continue. Highly recommend.

Everything I have eaten from RedFarm has been spectacular. The pastrami egg rolls - to die for! The crispy beef - the duck . It's all quite excellent. Perhaps a bit on the higher side of pricing, but quality food for sure. My only issue is that I often do takeout and the bag is never sealed. In this day as the world has unfortunately evolved most takeout restaurants create some sort of indicator that the food was packed and "sealed" preventing a delivery person from tampering with what the restaurant has put together. To be clear - I've never had a problem, but it is something thing that stands out. Just staple the bag or something. Otherwise. Don't change a thing.

This is not a bad review of the restaurant, per se, but a bad review of the staff training. I have a severe cross-contamination shellfish allergy. When my friend made the reservation, she specifically noted my allergy. I figured that wasn't enough, so called the restaurant to ensure that I could eat there. I was assured that they usually use vegan fish sauce and vegan oyster sauce so I would be fine. When we were seated at the restaurant, I mentioned the allergy to the server. He responded that I could eat nothing at the restaurant because everything was either deep fried (in one fryer) or cooked in one of three woks so everything had cross-contamination. After all of the effort to ensure that I could eat there, my party was very disappointed. We would have been much happier had the original person told me that I couldn't eat there. The food looked amazing, though.

First time was Easter Sunday - 6 of us and 6 year old. A very attentive staff made us feel very welcome- the presentations were imaginative and OMG delicious! We have high praise for the restaurant on a busy evening for executing a flawless experience for each one of us. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Finally made it back! We put our name in without a resi around 7pm on a Saturday and was able to sit 45min later (we grabbed a drink up the block) which worked out perfectly. Decoy is currently closed, but RedFarm which is upstairs is currently serving their famous Peking duck ($95) and it's a must have!! Be sure to get there early to reserve as they only have a certain amount each evening. We also had to get the pac-man dumplings and pork soup dumplings which are top items at RedFarm. We also tried wok fried green beans - service was good! I'd highly recommend this spot and especially the duck! They also offer delicious cocktails! Love this spot! Always have.

Don't you love when you've been meaning to try a place and your date happens to bring you there without you ever expressing interest to them? It's kismet! We mostly came for cocktails, but when I sat down, I remembered why I had heard of the place and mentally bookmarked it- the pac man dumplings. Our drinks were great, for my second round I changed to Red Farm's version of a spicy marg and really enjoyed it. Not as sweet as the other drink I'd been sipping on. I was pleasantly surprised to realize each pac man had a distinct flavor, so am glad to say we did 50/50 bites of each. My favorite flavors were lobster (red) and blue crab (blue). The mushroom one tasted meaty, almost like a surf and turf! Will have to come back and get a full meal next time!

Cute ambience, good food and service. This is a good date spot as well as for small groups. They have a common table in the center, where they seat different large groups. We went for dinner and I liked the vibe better. Lights are pretty dim which adds to the vibe. We ordered bunch of things, my favorite was the Buddha delight! One of the best veggie stir fry I have ever had. The shrimp dumpling as well as the 2 vegetarian dumplings were delicious too. There were other things we ordered but these were the best of all.

We shared the duck dinner and the sweet/sour soup (a single order comes out as 2 bowls). Food was good, and it's a good option for those craving duck since not a lot of restaurants serve it this way. Like I said. Red farm is good... but to give you an idea of how overpriced their menu is... their bowl of white rice is $5. Unless their ingredients are farm to table and the rice was grown in a hydroponic garden in their basement, I don't think it makes sense. I saw many reviews referring to the pac man dim sum, but I couldn't get myself to pay $5 per dumpling. Call me cheap... but also be reasonable people!

Walk in and picked the takeout menu to see what we can ordered for my Friday office party. We found out they are already open for indoor table both redfarm and decoy. You can ordered that Peking duck . And they do Peking duck for take out as well. 1. They have very strictly protocols for Covid19. 2. We did take out for big orders. The food always very good there. 2 pecking ducks and crispy beef are still soo good when it arrived at the office. 3. They person who took our order is super sweet and take time to recommend us the must have items. So 5stars service. 4. We can't wait to come back to dine in with them soon. 5. All the dumpling are delicious. We can't wait for them to ready to have soup dumplings back;) It's always 5stars all the ways.

Delicious meal, but boy did we pay for it. We'll get the only negative out the way first, which was the price. So expensive for our meal of a shared starter, one entree each and two cocktails each. Before the bill, we loved every second. Dumplings were tasty and the Buddha delight was really good, served with an addictive chili sauce on the side. The rum punch cocktail was so good we each got a second.

Every once in a while, I go somewhere because of a gimmick. And I came here for the 'Pac Man' Shrimp Dumplings. Because I love rainbows. Just see my EDM photos from back in the day. Said dumplings weren't bad, just teeny tiny. In fact, teeny tiny was the defining quality of all our dishes, including the Three Color Vegetable Dumplings (see what I mean about rainbows) and the Sautéed Snow Pea Leaves with Garlic. The quality and flavors weren't bad for an Americanized Chinese restaurant, but the portions could have fed half a person. The drinks were better--get the shiso one. Also, a word on the space: We were seated at the head of the communal table, directly in front of the entrance. Every time the door opened, a huge gust of wind blew in. I had to catch my flying menu more than once. And napkins? Fuggedaboutit. They need to set up a curtained entrance.

We made a reservation and we were 25 min late and they were so kind to hold our table! The dumplings were delicious! They were our favorite! The noodle dishes were quite good too! This was a great local spot that we enjoyed very much! It was expensive for the quantity of food which is why we only gave 4 stars!

We had an amazing time at RedFarm! The food was delicious, especially the crispy beef, jalapeño poppers, and mixed berry cheesecake. The hospitality was top-notch too. Can't wait to go back for more!

Walked in without a reservation and three of us were able to sit at the bar downstairs. The upstairs had no room. I had the Crunchy Vegetable and Peanut dumplings and the Sautéed Snow Pea Leaves with Garlic. They were both so delicious. It was so different and tasty. I also had some of the vegetable soba noodles and that was so good too.

It's not that the food was really bad, but it was over-rated and definitely overpriced. Some of the dishes were total let downs. We shared the duck, octopus, spicy crispy beef, pastrami egg rolls, pac man shrimp dumplings, and some other things including the soup dumplings. I don't get the place- the name doesn't feel Asian to me and the food is a spin off Asian- I suppose Chinese. The bill for 3 of us was pushing $400 and we were all still hungry. PAC man is not worth it. Very kitschy and if you share it, you can't taste it all as the dumplings are all filled with different things. I personally didn't like the duck at all. The octopus Dish was more string beans than octopus and not tasty. Pastrami egg rolls were weird. Best thing was the crispy beef. Soup dumplings were doughy and not great. But I'm not a fan of doughy dumplings. I don't know, this review is harsh. Place is definitely not authentic but I can see how people like it as it appeals to a commercial palate.

Although I did not eat here physically, Indid order for delivery. I am so glad! What a change for me to have something I have not been making or following all those do it yourself cooking via pre-ordered kits to follow. It was a little pricey for a take out but it was so good for a change. I was so excited just opening each container. Totally missed this type flavor for months now! Good to know it is available for pickup or delivery. I am farther away so I had it delivered.

Well, where to begin? Normally I don't review cocktails but the bartender was truly exceptional here. An artist! He was fussy about creating the perfect blends and everything we ordered: an old fashion, a cosmo (NOT with cranberry - only raspberry made the grade) and a special dragon sour - all simply delicious. The food was equally special. So hard to choose that we over ordered - but no regrets. Highlights were the pastrami egg rolls, crispy beef, lamb dumplings, and chili chicken. All so flavorful and unique. Beyond your typical Chinese fare. Way beyond!

I came here for my birthday with my sister who was visiting from Seattle. We were set on having Peking duck while she was here, and I had considered several options before settling on RedFarm/Decoy. We knew it was pricy, but read and heard that the best Peking duck was here. Not gonna lie, we were pretty nervous at first because we didn't see many Asian people and mostly saw waipipo. This is usually a red flag for me. The menu also wasn't very traditionally Chinese, so that made us nervous as well. So glad we ultimately decided to stick with it! Our server Larry was super warm and friendly. It was our first time here so he made sure we could ask any questions we had about the menu. Since we came specifically for the duck, we didn't ask about anything else on the menu. Before the duck came out, they brought out 3 different sauces and a small glass of duck soup. The duck itself was great. In my sister's words, "This shit smacks." I'm not on the millenial-Zoomer cusp like she is so I stuck with the word choice that it slaps. Skin was very crispy and the meat was juicy and tender. My sister and I only cared for the traditional hoisin sauce, but we were very happy with everything. The two of us are very small people and can't eat much, but together we ate about half of the entire duck in that one sitting plus some of a veggie dish. We literally fasted in anticipation of a Peking duck dinner because apparently our portion sizes equate to "half a person" and it definitely paid off. I also tried the coconut mousse, which was also amazing. Presentation was A+ as well, which is not that important but something I figured I'd mention. Again, Larry was very attentive and warm throughout the entire evening, and idc what he's getting paid it isn't enough. Would def come again and stuff myself with duck.

Food: 4/5 Hands down, best part of the meal was the Peking duck. We ordered a ton of dumplings & the Pac Man shrimp dumplings were cool in execution. Definitely do not recommend the lobster fried rice. It tasted fine, but required a lot of work, as the lobster is still in the shell when served on top of the rice. We came for a friend's birthday and did the Red Farm/Decoy group dinner prix fixe option - still a little confused about the merge of RedFarm and Decoy since there is also another prix fixe option for just RedFarm, but we had a great experience! The prixe fixe is quite expensive at $95 a person, but it really does include a lot. The first course is an assortment of 4 different types of dumplings: shrimp and truffle, 'five flavor' chicken, vegetable and peanut, and soup dumplings. I loved the shrimp and truffle ones - such a nice flavor combo! - and the soup dumplings were steamed to perfection. They even provide vinegar and ginger so that you can eat it the traditional way. You only get one of each dumpling which was a little disappointing, but makes sense considering the sheer volume of the meal. Then we got a foie gras tart that was cutely shaped in the form of a duck. This was probably the most underwhelming part of the meal as I felt that the fruit and tart aspect hid the actual taste of the foie gras, which should have been the star. I'd recommend eating the foie gras separately from the rest of the tart to get the full taste of it. THEN we got the star of the meal - the Peking duck! It's actually quite rare to find a good Peking duck place in Manhattan, and I think this was the best I've had so far. Crispy skin, juicy meat, and all your typical accompaniments of scallion, cucumber, pancakes, and hoisin sauce. They even provided sesame and cranberry sauce which I thought was cool, but I still find hoisin to be the best pairing. There was more than enough for the six of us and honestly the meal could've ended there and I would've already been filled to the brim. HOWEVER, then came FOUR MORE dishes - a steamed sea bass, prime rib steak, roasted duck noodles, and sautéed snow pea leaves. The sea bass was delicious and the only thing that could've made it better would've been some rice. The snow pea leaves were simple but flavorful and a much needed vegetable for a very meat and carb heavy meal, and the duck noodles and steak were also great. I will say that I found the steak to be an interesting choice for an Asian restaurant and didn't eat too much of it. They also provided two slices of chocolate cake with ice cream for us to share since it was a birthday dinner! At that point I was already nearly incapacitated from how full I was but managed to squeeze in a bite. It was very rich and not too sweet which is just how I like my cakes. I don't think I would do the set menu again because of the price, but I'm really glad to have had the experience. The dishes were delicious and the wines we ordered were both very good. All the servers were great and even let us sub out a vegetable fried rice for the duck rice noodles, and the setup of Decoy (separate entrance from RedFarm) is very nice and intimate. The bathroom even has one of those fancy heated bidet toilets which was fun. My only qualm is that they had a strict 2 hour limit for reservations which seems short for big parties. But, all in all, a great experience!

Amazing food in a family-esque environment. -- RedFarm does two things well: food and atmosphere. The portions are adequate with most items best for group sharing. Each main goes well if split with a group. Be careful of the dumplings and appetizers, some come pre-portioned so make sure they divide evenly. The food is delicious and be sure to ask for sauce. Peking duck seemed to be the crowd favorite, but we split the Singapore noodles (shrimp and pork). Snow pea leaves, and Pastrami Eggroll. Would come back for the snow peas and noodles!

Some friends and I stopped into RedFarm for a weeknight dinner. Upon arrival, they had space both upstairs and downstairs for our group. We decided to sit downstairs as the ambiance felt a little more upbeat. For drinks, I started with the Shrubarb (Scotch, Shiso, Ginger, Peach). It wasn't a favorite, so next time I'd definitely order something else from the list. For the main event, we were definitely overwhelmed by all the choices. Thankfully our waitress helped us pick options to feed our group of 5. We went with the Egg Roll, Crispy Beef, Spring Roll, Duck Lettuce Wrap, Pac Man Dumplings, Lamb Dumplings, Duck/Crab Dumpling, Shrimp/Black Truffle Shumai, Pork/Crab Soup Dumpling, BBQ Beef Fried Rice, and Yaki Soba Noodles. They also graciously made the dumplings into servings of 5 for us (since most come as 4). We were pleased with the majority of the options and the portions. It was definitely more than enough food to feed 5. Some highlights were the Crispy Beef, Duck Lettuce Wrap and BBQ Beef Fried Rice. The Lamb Dumplings and Soba Noodles were not favorites. Pacing was a little fast for my liking. The items came out very close together, so we at times were scarfing down food just to make room on the table. I would've preferred more time in-between to let the food settle. Service was great. Like I mentioned, our waitress was attentive and really spent time helping us pick options that worked for our group. They checked in on us frequently to make sure things were going well. Ambiance is great too. We enjoyed the lower level with the long, communal table, duck photos, and décor. It was bustling, but not overly loud. Overall, RedFarm is a great option if your looking to do dim sum style night with friends. Given the portion sizes, I definitely recommend coming with a group of 4 or more so you can enjoy multiple options. Price point per item does seem high at first glance, but once we split it up it ended up reasonable for the city. Looking forward to stopping back in again!

Amazing upscale chinese food w a twist. get the soup dumplings and pac man dumplings, the sauces are good and the presentation is excellent

I've wanted to dine here for the longest time, but considering the limited seating (and mostly at a communal table) and no reservation policy, had never attempted it, until recently. Lucked out on a slow Monday night and was totally wowed. The friendly, helpful host offered us immediate seating at the communal table, but suggested we wait a bit at the (small) bar as he could see a private booth would be available shortly. Five minutes later, score! Imaginative fusion menu with (too) many enticing choices. EVERYTHING was fresh, more than ample portions, expertly prepared and presented: --scallion pancakes with bacon, incredibly light and not greasy --pan fried pork buns, tasty filling --grilled jumbo shrimp in red curry, truly jumbo and the grilled flavor came through the balanced sauce, and a load of varied veggies --crispy skin smoked chicken, will remember this dish for a long time! Presented boneless with two sauce. (hints of Peruvian tastes?) Amazing!!! The aloof waiter (who never checked on us) was the only reason not to give 5 stars.

We arrived early for our reservation and sat up at the bar while we waited for our table. Dennis the bartender was phenomenal. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and helped us navigate it so when we sat we knew exactly what to order. We were seated about 20 min later drinks in hand and ready to order. The pastrami egg roll was so interesting but very delicious. The mustard dipping sauce was great. The presentation of the dumplings is so appetizing we had the Pac-Man and the crispy duck and crab. The bbq duck lettuce wraps were so good and it was a big portion. The real star of the show for us was the grilled lobster fried rice. It was filled with so many veggies, eggs and huge pieces of lobster. You can opt to have it de-shelled or do it yourself. We chose to do it ourselves which was way more fun. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the west village.

Popped in here for a dinner with friends. Big center tables with shared seating, and you get seated when your party is there (or when there's space). They take reservations but you need to be present to be seated. Drinks were a nice mix - a few good ones (Kyushiki "Old Style" Old Fashioned w/ Nori-Infused Hibiki Harmony, Ginger was fantastic), and a pink one that looked delicious, too (light summery). Drinks seem to switch up with seasons. Appetizers: - BBQ pork belly was ok, but I've had better char siu in Chinatown - black bass tarts were good, we had two orders for the three, light and the guac was a nice tight - Pac Mac dumplings were fun, but the shrimp overcooked inside - Oxtail dumplings were interesting, but lacked the flavor of what I had before downstairs; the filling was also a bit too falling apart to enjoy unless you could cram it all in one bite; you had to eat it too fast - Scallion pancake was too thick and not crispy; the sauce was good though - Soup dumplings, or xiaolongbao, were *bigger* than the average, and though not as much soup inside as I'm used to, the bigger gripe for me is giving me ginger + vinegar, and no spoons or anything to put it into the xiaolongbao Mains + Noodles: - Sauteed snow pea leaves with garlic was a hearty bowl, rare to see them give as much for an order - Grilled Strip Steak - done very well, and one of the favorite parts of the main for me - Prosperity Lobster fried rice - was a bit crazy trying to eat this, felt difficult to get a good bite of rice and the lobster was a bit difficult to get out of the shell while eating; I picked out quite a few shell bits out of my rice that would've been a pain to eat Desserts: Seasonal Fruit w/ pudding (nothing interesting there), a key lime that wasn't sour enough (too sweet), and a ginger panna cotta dish that was a wonderful one. I chose it because my original dessert choice was out of stock and it was better than the others by far. Service was great - friendly and patient with our ordering, despite a backlog of people at the bar waiting to get seated. Never felt rushed.

Reviews are mixed probably partly because this is not exactly a takeout Chinese restaurant. When you feel comfortable going out again post-COVID, give Redfarm a try in person! Part of the experience is not a fancy-looking restaurant but fancy-looking food--there is fun presentation to the way the dumplings and other dishes are served. The drink menu is also tasty and different (something else that doesn't translate to takeout or delivery!). The Peking duck is truly delicious. This is a great dish to share with a few friends or your family. You can try the different sauces that come with it and find your favorite combination. The duck is something that we have always come back to on prior visits to Redfarm. Another favorite is the Five Flavor Chicken Dumplings. Yum! I have come here with vegetarians in my family in the past who have really enjoyed their meal. The Crunchy Vegetable and Peanut Dumplings and some of the noodle dishes were hits for them. The downside was that at least pre-COVID, you were usually in for a fairly long wait unless you come early. The place is tiny, so be prepared to be patient unless you like the early bird special.

As a big fan of Decoy, I have to check this out. It's a nice spot for a dim sum brunch. The food here is very unique. It's Chinese dim sums with a lot of innovations. My favorite here is the Pac-Man Shrimp dumplings. Not only it looks amazing and funny, it's also delicious. The four different colors are four different flavors. Duck omelette is very good too. It's a very interesting dish. Pan fried buns are not prepared in traditional Chinese way. It's Chinese barbecue pork stuffing inside. They have French press coffee here and it's enough for several people at a reasonable price. Our waiter was amazing. He was very friendly and nice. Service here is much better than their sister restaurant Decoy downstairs, even though Decoy is much more expensive. Overall, the food is great and innovative but in terms of the taste, it is not as impressive as Decoy. Service is excellent and the restaurant environment is great.

As a harsh critic for Chinese food, here's a place I would take out of town guests for the PEKING DUCK DINNER!! They weren't kidding as voted best in NYC for Peking duck. Every piece was divine and I loved how the pancakes to wrap were thin and served steamed in a bamboo container. Three sauces - hoisin, cranberry, and peanut - loved the traditional hoisin the best. It's $95 for one duck that serves about 4 people comfortably. The KATZ'S PASTRAMI EGG ROLL was also a WINNER. It's easily one of my favorite things in this world right now! SHRIMP STUFFED SHISHITO POPPERS were also bomb dot com. CRAB and PORK SOUP DUMPLINGS were a delight but with a hefty price tag of $4 each. We also ordered the Long Life Chanterelles + Shiitakes noodles which we barely touched after our feast and took home leftovers which proved delicious the next day. Overall, impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Ambiance was pleasant. Three of us sat at the end of the long wooden community table so it was fun seeing everyone else's food come in. Service was good. The bill came to $67 each including tip which isn't bad for a delicious meal in NYC. Would definitely come back!

This restaurant was the single best experience we have had in a long time. Every dish we had was incredible! The crispy beef appetizer was so good we had to order another! Service was well executed. Attentive without being annoying. Some caveats. This is Asian like no other. In the West Village. Expensive but in a post-covid world not unexpected. I felt it was worth it. Everything about this place was a total MOMENT! I hope this is not an overshare but the heated commode was awesome!

I don't even think I can call this Chinese food. It was absolute terrible food Under any condition and yet the place was jam packed with upper West sider. . I guess younger people had no experience in what is Chinese food food they just go there. This is a place where the service was terrible, the food was terrible, and frightfully expensive for what they have with a very limited menu. My advice avoid this place. TripAdvisor rating must be by the owners of the restaurant.

Decent Chinese fusion in the west village. The Katz's pastrami egg rolls are worth it to start. The scallion pancakes with bacon are tasty. The dumplings are fresh and you can choose your filing. Usually get the sautéed string beans with spicy chopped pork and one of the fried rices. This is more than enough food for 2 adults and a child. Overall the service is good and the food is good but you definitely pay west village prices and not Chinatown prices. Obviously this is fusion and not straight Chinese food. They do a good job of serving up a decent meal.

Pan Fried Pork Buns - soft, sweet, and delicious (our favorite) Short Rib Udon Noodles - second favorite item, filling Spicy Crispy Beef - good, but some bites tasted like batter only with no beef PacMan Shrimp Dumplings - Okay, but least favorite - fried sweet potato and guac were good

The service was great and food was delicious! The crispy duck and crab dumplings WOW. We was very happy with everything!

A bit pricey but well done. Attentive service. One of the best Peking Duck in the city, the skin is well rendered and shattering crisp. Innovative takes on dumplings.

This place is excellent, albeit pricey - probably best and most creative Chinese food ever. Have been multiple times and it's always great, amazing wait staff, as well as bartenders and hostesses- pre-order the duck, yes it's expensive but it's worth it at least once

Cute date spot but I came here with my co-workers on evening. Food was awesome. Try the pac-man dumplings and oxtail dumplings. They were like morsels of love. So good!!!! Had the beef friend rice and found it underwhelming.

We have been huge RedFarm fans since they first opened. Unique Chinese-New York cuisine. The creativity has always been first rate. Now, during the Pandemic, it is all delivered and takeout but the quality has remained high. They will be a survivor. Thankfully!!

If you walked into this place, you wouldn't think it serves Chinese food. With its hanging planters, plaid benches and wooden communal table, it looks more like a hip, brunch place. Came here on Sunday at 8pm and there was 1.5 hour wait. We got seated at 9:30pm. Hits: Five flavor chicken dumplings - My favourite. a unique fusion take on dumplings. Silky, smooth wontons are slightly pan fried to a crisp skin. Served with fresh pickled onions, cucumbers and peanuts Beef & chantrelle mushrooms - nice meaty pieces of chantrelle mushrooms soaked up the sauce. pork & crab soup dumplings - almost on par with soup dumplings served in Flushing. Thin skin with lots of soup. However, the filling could be more flavorful Misses: Pac Man dumplings - small portions. Could get the same for less than $5 at a dim sum restaurant Fresh corn, chive & shrimp dumplings - just ok.

Amazing dumplings, smoked chicken is ...Very overpriced but hey...it's New York. They don't take reservations, so the wait is usually long...it's a tiny place so it's understandable. They do their best to get everyone in and out quickly. The food came super quick!

Came here to meet up with family. This had to been the highlight of my weekend trip (went to Le Bernadin and Babbo too) of our foodie tour of NYC. The dumplings were fantastic. Comes out like regular dim sum container (4 to an order) with the star being the lobster dumpling. I can't recall the others we had, but I remember the lobster one very well. The fried rice dish was on point too. The pastrami egg roll was quite good too (reminds me of the corned beef eggrolls at Dogfish Head). We even got to try the Peking duck and was one of the best Peking ducks I've tasted! Not greasy or oily and their pancakes were thin and tasty too. They give you three sauces (hoisin, sesame). Easily feeds 4 people (had lots of leftovers). I know I missed couple other items we ordered; drawing a blank; maybe Justine K can fill in the rest :) The cocktails were a home run too as was the service. Awesome spot if craving for some Chinese fusion food!

Simply the best ! Amazing service , food and atmosphere we are definitely coming here every trip to New York. 1000% recommended .

It doesn't get any better than this for Peking Duck! We were shut out of getting a bar seat at 5:15! downstairs at Decoy, but the kind fellow at the front of the house told us we could get duck upstairs at Red Farm. So upstairs, where the atmosphere is actually brighter, we went, and fortunately, for us, they had one last duck at 5:30 pm. We not only felt like lucky ducks, we could not have had a better meal. Plan accordingly to avoid potential "we're all out of duck" disappointment.

The food is outstanding. Everything we had. There isn't a bad dish on the menu. All the staff is friendly, accommodating. We will definitely be back. I wish the prices were a little more reasonable.

Two words to describe this place: Basic and overpriced I came here with a few friends last night and had the most basic yet overpriced Chinese fusion food I've EVER had. Dishes range from about $12-$48 granted a lot of things are family style dishes. We got a few of the most expensive dumplings I've ever had. 2 shrimp ones, oxtail, and lobster. All were OK but started at $14 for 4 small dumplings. For mains we got the three chili chicken ($27), shrimp and scallop xo fried rice ($27) and the waitor pressured us to get another dish thinking what we had wasn't enough, so we got jumbo shrimp with cashews and veggie sauce ($29.50). Of the dishes I think the entrees were the worst. The fried rice was definitely the worst of them all. For $27 I was expecting something super flavorful with big pieces of shrimp. But what we got was about the same quality as your neighborhood Chinese restaurant or Panda Express. They also put big chunks of red onion in the fried rice, which I thought was really weird and didn't taste right in a fried rice dish. The three chili chicken was also a major disappointment. Basically Kung Pao chicken but 3x the price. Very little chicken pieces and mostly peppers and peanuts. I think Trader Joe's Kung Pao that I often buy for like $4.99 is much better. The cashew shrimp was OK, the better of the 3 mains. But still just alright. Definitely way more veggies to shrimp And not very tasty. I also didn't like how the waitor kept trying to over sell to us. And kept telling us she thought we should order more and more for a party of 5. I guess you pay for the ambiance here. The inside is pretty cool and trendy, but that's about it. Giving 2 stars for the ambiance. I'd recommend going to Chinatown for better quality food for half the price.

Came here for dinner several times already. First time trying the prefix Peking duck menu, definitely worth every penny!!!! For starter, we tried the noodle with uni, Wangyu beef, oyster, and moonlit shrimp. Steamed sea bass & prawn for main entree and side order sautéed snow pea leaves. Finally the Peking duck~ The skin is super thin and crisp, MUST TRY!!!!

Everything fell flat and was extremely expensive. $15 for four-five dumplings...? Do NOT get the pac man dumplings. We tried a ton of stuff - the pacman dumplings, the special truffle dumplings (blah), the duck udon (udon is oily, but the duck is good and fatty, the wagyu bites (mediocre and flavorless). The soup dumplings and the pastrami egg rolls are great. We ended up spending ~$150 after tips and tax for two people and this is only with one non alcoholic drink. Would not recommend this place.

Although this is good Chinese food, they forgot the scallion pancakes on the curry delivery. This was very disappointing as those pancakes were why I enjoy the curry, so their bad service made my delivery experience frustrating.

Amazing flavors! RedFarm has great dumplings and the small plates are delicious. It's about each bite and enjoying conversation. I really enjoyed the Crispy Duck and Crab dumplings followed by the PAC Man Shrimp. I'm glad my buddy Tom from The Tom Kelly Show introduced me to this spot.
