I received this from Yelp HQ:
"Hello,
We're reaching out to let you know that our moderators removed your post about John Rich's Redneck Riviera.
We typically remove posts that appear to be motivated more by media attention or current events rather than one's own customer experience with the business. We recognize that this business may have been in the media spotlight and that many people have strong opinions about the situation. If you'd like to share your feelings on Yelp, we encourage you to start a conversation with your local community on Yelp Talk (https://yelp.com/talk). Please be aware that any further content you post in response to media attention may be subject to removal without notification. Repeated guideline violations may result in account closure.
We apply this policy regardless of the business or topic at issue, no matter what our thoughts on the subject may be. You can read about this in our Support Center (https://www.yelp-support.com/article/000005391), and learn more by checking out our Content Guidelines (https://www.yelp.com/guidelines)."
In no way was this a political attack on this establishment. This is a really good set up, the drinks were good, but the STAFF personally attacked me an removed me from the facility and attempted to have me arrested. Some freaking bar back was making fun of my shoes and when I made fun of him, he did not like it, and had me removed.
Rather than investigating the issue, the PR people that work to promote this bar, complained to Yelp that this was a political attack versus what it actually is. A personal attack on me. Shame on you, Redneck Riviera.
I recommend that if you go to Nashville, you do not go here. There are many other places that are better. Ripeys, Jason Aldean's bar, Ole Red, etc. Do not be fooled by all of the police and vet propaganda on the walls. I am a vet and a police officer and they treated me like less than a human. I love Nashville and spend a bunch of dough there, but will never go here again. Clownshoes.
