Great vibe here and love the support of LE proudly displayed all over the walls with patches and coins. Worth stopping by even just to see the amount of support from police, fire and all first responders across the country! 🇺🇸 I love places like this. God bless America!

Google
After visiting a few “over crowded “ places we stopped in here and had a fabulous time. Top notch music, the bands ask for requests, a little less crowded and the bartenders were on point. Loved all the decorations, especially the first responder badges. We will be back. I highly recommend this place.

Google
Y'all.... If you're looking for a place to host an event in Nashville this is the place. The sales staff (Liz) was top notch getting things secured - with one complaint that I was not made aware of our miss for meeting the minimum until kind of last minute which forced me to make hasty decisions to deplete the funding. Regardless of that, which can easily be corrected in the future, this location provided an awesome night of experiences and immersion into the US culture for our global team. We had a killer band who was very interactive and accommodating. We were able to secure a signature drink - which was a HUGE hit. In addition to our event night, we also jumped in there on two other nights. Similar to other Nashville bars, this bar has several levels. It's fun no matter what level you choose. Downstairs is a little crowded - but that's where the main fun is. I cannot say enough good things about the service for our event and the venue itself. So much fun. I wasn't a huge fan of the BBQ meat. I hope that maybe we got them on an off night. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't up to the level of awesome the rest of the night was. Overall, I would highly recommend hosting an event here.

Google
Fantastic multi level bar on Broadway! Music was outstanding. Drinks prices reasonable for a popular tourist area.

Google
Was here for a company event so the food was provided. There served pork BBQ, beef brisket sliders, spinach dip, meatballs, and some sort of taquito/spring roll. The food was ok, not bad nor noteworthy. My hats off to the staff who busted their hide parts hosting our large group. The band was pretty good and took requests. This place is definitely is paying their respects to the military and 1st responders by having their patches and coins displayed everywhere. So if you are either it’s worth the stop in to see.

Google
If you’re in Nashville looking for great music and atmosphere; definitely stop by. We hung out here for about 4 hours, watched two different bands and had a blast. I can say that the staff was amazing, very friendly and made the experience even better. We did not eat while we where there but did look at the menu, it looked to have a good selection. I did see food as it came out to others, it looked really good.

Google
Nice rooftop view, good selection of local whiskey, live music on 1st & 2nd floor, service could've been a bit friendlier

Google
John Rich's Redneck Riviera is a full-throttle, patriotic party on Nashville's Broadway. This massive honky-tonk offers three floors of non-stop, high-energy live country music that keeps the packed dance floors stomping all night long. The bands are top-notch, playing a mix of hits and classics. For a breather with incredible views of the neon-lit strip, escape to the rooftop perch. It’s a loud, proud, and quintessentially Nashville experience for any country music fan.

Yelp
I was in Nashville for a business trip and stopped by Redneck Riviera with several colleagues. We had a great time! Friendly atmosphere, and great drinks. The Redneck Whiskey was great, and I recommend trying it if you stop by. We especially enjoyed the live music. The singer, Mariel Mae and the band were awesome! Band knew all of our requests! Looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
Overall this is another honky tonk bar on broadway. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon during college football season to grab a drink and take a break from the heat. The main level was packed, but we saw the stairs and went up to the second level where they had a bar, TVs, and plenty of space to sit. They also have a small rooftop area with some shade as well.

Yelp
First bar we visited during our trip. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and the entire street was busy, especially since the titans were home and there were lots of Green Bay fans visiting! Walked into RR and although the ground floor was full we headed straight to the second floor where there was plenty of space. We grabbed a table and noticed people were eating food and coming and going for drinks. Traffic was steady. We grabbed two drinks and watched a little football until we were ready to head to the next spot. RR is a little smaller than some of the spots at this end of the street but just keep heading upstairs to see if space is available. We didn't make it to the roof but I heard they have a variety of yard games up there as well so, something to do other than just drink if that's your thing. Pretty basic spot, not worth a special trip but not worth intentionally skipping either. I think it's just right for one drink as you're making your way down the street.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this bar on Broadway. Mainly because they support law enforcement, first responders, and military. There are patches everywhere that have been given to them to hang. The respect is second to none. We came fairly late one evening and it was more to end the night. So we didn't venture beyond the first floor. It was packed down there and the live music was amazing. Small space for some folks to dance around. Bartender was very helpful and clearly slammed with orders but moved through things quickly. Very impressive. Definitely check this place out. We plan to go back.

Karen K.

Yelp
Loved the live music but the Miller Light in a can was not very cold. We were going to stay for dinner but could not deal with the warm beer. Had to drink my $8 on ice.
google avatar

Yelp
Quite the man! Honky Tonk/restaurant Boots, apparel, beef, jerky, and let's not forget about that Redneck whiskey, you can find in Costco and Walmart around the United States! My favorite saying save a horse ride a cowboy . I love that!!! Good times in this Honky Tonk ! Five star

Yelp
The event planners are amazing, helpful and prompt. The options for food is one of the best options when it comes to event catering and the location is ideal! I would 1000% recommend working with them. It is also a great place to stop by for a drink with friends.
google avatar

Yelp
First visit here. Felt very comfortable there, John Rich really supports our police & first responders & our military. His whiskey is quite good & we had some quesadillas, that were really good & hot & cheesy goodness. They have some cool merchandise also.
google avatar

Jon W.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, small and energetic atmosphere. The bands were great and played well to the crowd.
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
Fun time, good bands. This bar is small and has a backyard feel to it. The walls are covered in police and firefighter badges from all over the country. We found one from our hometown. Strong supporters of first responders, police and firefighters. Very patriotic. This place gets crowded in waves. Only one bartender was behind the bar when we'd were there, she was great but could have used a hand.

T K.

Yelp
I had an amazing time at the inauguration party!!!! The staff was great as well as the drinks/food!!!
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
Always one of my favorite places to have a drink in Nashville. Unlike a lot of bars here, it's not overly noisy and overcrowded. There's usually an acoustic band playing covers downstairs. It's a very patriotic bar that serves reasonably priced drinks and food. Come early and it's not too busy. Enjoy a glass of Redneck Riviera whisky on the rocks and help support Folds of Honor
google avatar

Jaclyn B.

Yelp
A cute little military bar. The band was great and the bartender was very friendly. I'm unsure if there was food served here, but it was a fun place to grab a drink and listen to some music.
google avatar

Ric P.

Yelp
Had a fun time at JRRR in downtown Nashville. We stopped in almost every night for a cold beer and great music. We listened to several great local talent Country Western groups. The staff was nice, to us, but both of us also felt a tad unsafe as the staff did get rather rude and pushy with several different people over IDs on our 1st and 4th night visiting. Overall we enjoyed JRRR's.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this bar at the end of Broadway. A cozier and less flashy bar than the others on the strip. I love the smaller feel and the bands are always amazing. They sing some rock as well not just country. They have badges from different police stations and it's super cool! Everyone always dances and it's a little area to dance so a lot of fun! I have never had the food there. Love the vibe. One of my favorites on Broadway.

Cynthia W.

Yelp
Great food, service, ambiance and experience in downtown Nashville . Highly recommend!
google avatar

Adolfo B.

Yelp
There are a lot of 'flashy' and trendy bars to visit on the strip, but I like the downhome bar feel of the Redneck Riviera in the heart of lower Broadway. They offer reasonable prices and good selection on beers, great live music, friendly staff, and a welcoming and fun environment. The rooftop is fun and offers a great view of the happenings on the street. The only improvement I say would be needed would be to have bar stools with backs on them.
google avatar

Jim B.

Yelp
Great place. Recognizes military, police, EMS etc. military gets first drink free. Badges from all agencies all over the place. Small little place but the best place to go to honor all agencies!! If you want to place your patch placed on the wall , ask for a card and they will do it. Kick ass place!
google avatar

Annie H.

Yelp
Music on first floor great. Upstairs awful. 2nd and 3rd floor. Surprised I know John Rich is a perfectionist.
google avatar

Arthur S.

Yelp
We stopped in for one, but stayed for three. We liked the music, service, atmosphere, and specials. They have some cool seats and an American flag made of beer cans. Mixed Drinks are around $13, but they offer buy one get one for military. Free koozie or drink if you check in with Yelp.

Yelp
Loved this place. It's a RED bar! Police patches every where so it's cool to see who all has been there. Not overly crowded for a Tuesday we got a table in the corner I hate how every bar you pay for song recommendation so just bring cash. The worst though is when they are not playing anything then you tip them and they still don't play anything. It's a Tuesday........ just play "sweet home Alabama"

J M.

Yelp
If you are patriotic, this is the place to go! Stopped by after a work event and colleagues headed back to the hotel. Decided I still wanted some live music and their front signage about supporting veterans and first responders was a strong appeal. It was small and crowded but everyone was friendly and it felt like genuine love. Patrons were going through the crowd reaching out and thanking those that were veterans. The band was comprised of disabled veterans and the singer's range was incredible, mirroring original performers on each cover song. They played oldies to new releases, from country to pop, from rock to disco. People were dancing and it was a blast. Great variety of beer on tap, and it was a 2 for 1 for veterans. Next time in Nashville, this is exactly where I will be headed!

L P.

Yelp
Don't believe any good reviews. Just got back from Nashville, went out with friends. Stopped by this place, WOW what a disappointment. First of all it's old, gross, dirty. I've seen cleaner porta-potties. The drinks sucked and the waitress literally ignored us. Don't know who John Rich is, but he should close this eyesore down.
google avatar

Eva N.

Yelp
Every time I come to Nashville for the last two years, I pop into this place just to have a quick drink, listen to some music, vibe with the tourist and get some recommendations for places. This is the first time I ate here and it was amazing! I had the chicken wrap shared it with my friend, an it was super filling for two people to share because you know we're ladies and we do that. Music is not too loud, the guys are cute/girls cute/great music. just a great vibe, an I love the fact that they proudly cater to service members, because I like a place like that.

Mortars3172 B.

Yelp
Great place that gives back to veterans and drinks are great too!! Atmosphere is good and also the musical talent that rolls through is amazing
google avatar

Dave B.

Yelp
This is a great small, intimate honky tonk. Always great music and every time I have visited the bar tender is wonderful. Drinks aren't cheap, but you're on Broadway. This place is extremely military and first responder friendly. During this most current visit, John Rich's grand parents stopped by and his grandpa actually planned the drums while Buck McCoy played the guitar and sang! Like I said, always a great place to visit!
google avatar

Devi M.

Yelp
Good pour on the drink. Band pretty good. John needs to sink some money into the place but decent.

Frances B.

Yelp
Didn't eat But service and music was fabulous! Highly recommend! Very Patriotic bar and honors veterans.
google avatar

Yelp
Our second trip to Nashville and found another, smaller joint to check out. Yes, I know live performances are not uncommon on Broadway in Nashville, but this solo artist was not doing all the cliche, knock-off & often brutally performed metal genre (and yes, I'm a metal head and the butchery of metal in Nashville is real). Some country, pop and seemingly personally drafted music was performed, all with a low-key crowd and outstanding service (especially the upstairs bar tender, she was awesome!) made my Wife and I feel welcome.
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
My husband and I found ourselves as this place a few times during our trip. This place is very friendly to the military and offers BOGO drink specials. There is two levels of places to chill out with live music. It was weird since in the roof top area the music ends very early in comparison. The bartenders were very friendly and welcoming so I would recommend and likely be back here if I am in town again.
google avatar

Nancy C.

Yelp
Great place. We sat on the roof and had a great Bloody Mary. Bar tender did a great job. Loved the flag behind the bsr of the flag. Would absolutely come back again!

Mark L.

Yelp
This place is very law enforcement friendly. Department patches on the walls. Your first drink is on the house! Very friendly and chill! Must go if you are military or law enforcement

Yelp
I received this from Yelp HQ: "Hello, We're reaching out to let you know that our moderators removed your post about John Rich's Redneck Riviera. We typically remove posts that appear to be motivated more by media attention or current events rather than one's own customer experience with the business. We recognize that this business may have been in the media spotlight and that many people have strong opinions about the situation. If you'd like to share your feelings on Yelp, we encourage you to start a conversation with your local community on Yelp Talk (https://yelp.com/talk). Please be aware that any further content you post in response to media attention may be subject to removal without notification. Repeated guideline violations may result in account closure. You can read about this in our Support Center (https://www.yelp-support.com/article/000005391), and learn more by checking out our Content Guidelines (https://www.yelp.com/guidelines)." In no way was this a political attack on this establishment. This is a really good set up, the drinks were good, but the STAFF personally attacked me an removed me from the facility and attempted to have me arrested. Some freaking bar back was making fun of my shoes and when I made fun of him, he did not like it, and had me removed. Rather than investigating the issue, the PR people that work to promote this bar, complained to Yelp that this was a political attack versus what it actually is. A personal attack on me. Shame on you, Redneck Riviera. I recommend that if you go to Nashville, you do not go here. There are many other places that are better. Ripeys, Jason Aldean's bar, Ole Red, etc. Do not be fooled by all of the police and vet propaganda on the walls. I am a vet and a police officer and they treated me like less than a human. I love Nashville and spend a bunch of dough there, but will never go here again. Clownshoes.

Yelp
Loud and small. Small menu. The food was decent. I had the Buffalo chicken flatbread and enjoyed it and the portion was large. I can't speak for the drinks as I only had water.
google avatar

Lindsey F.

Yelp
Three floors of music, drinks and love for police, military and firefighters..... drink specials for them too. In the downtown Nashville area... right in the middle of all the action. The live band was ok. The roof top played music too. The bartenders were quick with orders. Loved the patches all over the walls!!!
google avatar

Mary C.

Yelp
Went early in the day with husband and teenager to listen to music on the main level. Loved the patriotic theme. Very welcoming environment. Friendly bouncer.
google avatar

Gina L.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE the fact they have so much respect for police officers around the US. They have walls of badges from police around the world and signs honoring our fallen hero's in war. Everything this bar founds itself on and stands for is something I support. The drinks here were your standard drink options at any bar. For me personally, the crowd was a more local, older crowd and the interior of this bar was just a little too small to really have a lot of people or have places to dance around. Definitely a nice place to stop for a more relaxing chill Nashville experience on Broadway while still hearing some great talented musicians.
google avatar

Julie B.

Yelp
Sis and I found this place for lunch. It was the first place we came upon that had an open door, music and water (90 degree humidity). Lunch orders were taken by the bartender. Most of the tables were occupied so we found two seats at the end of the bar. It's tight quarts if you have to find your way in or out to the ladies room. Lunch came out about 20 minds later piping hot. Very delicious. Buffalo chicken a tad too spicy for our Midwestern tastebuds but the pepperoni was perfect. We listened to music while waiting and eating. They were good but nothing really stood out for me to remember to include here.
google avatar

Yelp
Good times on the second floor. Have a drink. Talk to a friend or make a new one. Great location to hangout. We also went to the 3rd floor and watched the scene from a birds eye view. There was live music for a bit, but people watching on the main Broadway strip is always fun. People don't disappoint. Always a live show of W. T. H. is that person doing. Check them out. Was a good time and decent price alcohol with several levels of fun & music to choose from.

Ronald G.

Yelp
Went to Nashville for 4 days, this was the only bar we went to all 4 days. Great place friendly staff. I hung a Submarine Veteran patch on wall.
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
Extremely fun and pathetic place. Great bands playing classic country. Probably our favorite spot on Broadway. Free whisky shots for military!
google avatar

Dennis S.

Yelp
Fun place. Good bar food and nice live music. Walls are covered with Law Enforcement and Fire patches. If you were one of them the second beer is on the house Thank you!
google avatar

Jami W.

Yelp
This is such a fun place to come listen to live music, if you're in Nashville. It's located on the east end of the Main Street (Northside). The large front windows allows those walking by to hear the live music/experience their missing inside-- which is how we discovered this place and had the time of our lives. They were really busy but, it was a comfortable crowd and easy to get a cocktail/beer at the bar-- scored two seats so, we camped there for little and enjoyed the performance. Good service and music was amazing--First Radio Band, two thumbs up. Will be back.

Yelp
This was the first establishment we set foot in on our trip to Nashville! It literally looks like a hole in the wall, but it was our favorite of the entire night! It just so happened, on a chilly night in the winter, the window to this establishment was open. We could hear the band playing from inside, and we excitedly went in. I love how the stage for the musicians to play was right against Broadway Street. It was great publicity for this establishment, as you could hear the tunes swell out into the street. I do believe this establishment had more than one level, as I did see a sign for other levels and an elevator. We stayed on the first floor. It was an extremely crowded, as it looks like a small place, but the music was terrific! Natalie Brady from the Voice often plays here, and we had the privilege of listening to her saying. She can sing! Her band was great, and the vocals were spot on. Literally the best of the evening! They did have an American-themed bar towards the back of the establishment. I also really liked how there were canisters of water towards the front near the door. I am sure a lot of bartenders get asked for water throughout the evening, and I really do appreciate water being available for those who need to stay hydrated. Definitely the highlight of our evening, and I am giving this place five stars! The vocals were amazing, and I am so glad that we stumbled upon this place.

Yelp
This place is super fun! The bathroom is worth the visit. Super creative and just fun!
google avatar

Matt W.

Yelp
Well Mr. Rich, you found my price point, $23 for a yuengling beer and and a small slushy from the machine, and the staff surely didn't attempt to at least provide a smile with the bill. I've been to the place before, and remember it being one of the pricier places in town, but this is over the top.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Very friendly staff. Like the upstairs as well. Drinks as little cheaper than some of the other places. Worth spending some time in for music and drinks. Did not try the food

Katie B.

Yelp
The worst band I have ever heard on Broadway, sound was terrible. Drummer was good but 3 people sang and all 3 were horrible. Worst drink I have never ordered.
google avatar

Danny D.

Yelp
Worst bar experience ever!!!!! Service was terrible. The crowd was definitely where they needed to be. Bad food, loud inaudible music and an atmosphere perfect for a deliverance movie. Yelp removed my first review because I was too honest. ZERO STARS!!!!
