Best Seafood Restaurants in Houston, Texas | Eater Houston

"Reel’s move from Missouri City to the Heights introduces Viet-Cajun flavors and craveable bites to one of Houston’s trendiest neighborhoods. The menu shines with crawfish boils, stir-fried crab legs, and fried shrimp baskets. The laid-back bar also offers a dozen wing flavors and shareable fried snacks like chicken skins and okra, which pair well with the frozen margaritas, sake, and beer on tap." - Brittany Britto Garley

The Best Viet-Cajun Restaurants in Houston | Eater Houston

"Originally located in Missouri City, Reel Seafood & Bar moved to the Heights area in early 2023. Viet-Cajun-style crawfish, stir-fried crab legs, and oyster po boys are staples on the menu but you can’t go wrong with its fried bites, such as fried okra, green beans, mushrooms, gator bites, and crispy chicken skin. Chicken wings that come in 16 different flavors and combination baskets of catfish and shrimp pair well with a frozen margarita, sake, or beer on tap." - Brittany Britto Garley

Reel Seafood & Bar - Review - The Heights - Houston - The Infatuation

"Reel Seafood & Bar is a casual boiled and fried seafood and wings spot. The restaurant recently relocated from Missouri City to the Shady Acres corner of The Heights and brought Viet-Cajun-style crawfish, stir-fried crab legs, and oyster po boys along with them." - Chelsea Thomas

The Best Restaurants in Missouri City, Texas | Eater Houston

"Bringing together two food genres isn’t easy, but Reel does it well, throwing in a Cajun twist just for fun. The fried seafood basket proves that batter can enhance without overwhelming, and the flavors of the catfish, shrimp, and oysters burst through. The wings here are equally popular, with the spicy ranch batter wings offering a tangy flavor, crispy skin, and succulent chicken. For a heavier dish, try the Reel Rice, fried rice topped with a creamy sauce, shrimp, and crawfish tails, and end your meal with the beignet sticks." - Rebecca Deurlein

This is my third time here. Let me just say, if you're thinking about dining in, DON'T THINK TWICE! Alex served us and he was so accommodating, people friendly and his service was top tier! The crawfish is the best I've ever tasted. There was so much flavor! You really get your money's worth and they always have deals. The atmosphere is welcoming. I'm huge on customer service and this whole place is the REEL DEAL! Go to Reel, you won't regret it!

Google
Great food and service! Good flavors, sides, and fresh seafood! Love that they have a big screen for the games and seasonal deals for live crawfish. They also offer quail eggs as a side for the crawfish which is awesome. They also offer the good gloves for customers, not the cheap plastic prep ones. Love that they have a handwashing sink station with three sinks, so you don’t have to walk all the way to the restroom to wash your hands after eating. The mix flavor in spicy was a good combination, my sister enjoyed the Cajun garlic butter! 😋

Google
Located in a currently abandoned plaza, which feels a bit weird to be honest. The service is excellent - friendly and attentive. The food did not convince me unfortunately… the crawfish was tiny - which makes it very tedious work. The sauces were not flavorful enough. The actual meat of the crawfish tasted bland. Same with the add ons (corn, potatoes etc)

Google
Reel Seafood and Bar never misses! The food and service are always on point — seriously, top tier. I’ve been coming here since their Missouri City days, and they’ve never let me down. The flavors are bold, the seasoning is just right, and everything always comes out so saucy and flavorful. Get the Mix and Tom Yum!!😋 I don’t play when it comes to my crawfish — I’m super picky and it’s gotta be done right. This place always gets it PERFECT. They really know what they’re doing in that kitchen👨🏽‍🍳

Google
There’s only one waitress with brownish-red hair, she was awesome! Before we were even seated I placed my son’s food order & by the time we were seated his food was ready! Love the little details! Now don’t get me started on the food, portions were excellent and the seasoning was point! We’ll definitely be on our radar next time we visit H-Town. Thx for the amazing service EVERYONE was very attentive!

I went in the try this place for the first time 7/17/25 710pm. The sewer smell was way too much. There was about15-20 ppl eating. Place looked clean but we could not get pass the smell. Hope it was just the day smell. We had oder water and soda for $3.25 thinking we where going to eat but we just paid and left.

I came here last Saturday with my friends and family for the crawfish and it was absolutely amazing. I'm from Lousisana and I know my crawfish. Reel seafood is the real deal! They do vietnamese fusion style and I had had 5lbs for $35! What an absolute steal! Most places are $10/lbs and not even this good. I had Hot/Thai basil and it was delicious. The service was top notch, they provided bibs and gloves (if needed) and even came around to make sure we had everything we needed. The guy with the tattoos was exceptionally awesome, i'm not sure if he was the owner, but he came and offered us extra spicy dipping sauce on the side and was just very friendly and my whole group was very pleased with the experience. I was about to take them to China town, but i'm glad I didn't because this place is an absolute GEM! Thank you guys for serving us and I have to come back soon before the season is over!

Google
Could’ve been the day or maybe people hyped it up too much but I wasn’t impressed. They were out of Thai basil that day, so we ended up with tom yum and Cajun. The crawfish lacked in flavor and was kind of small. Bummer, I was so excited to try the tom yum flavor too. At least the fried pickles were good

Yelp
Incredible food and customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant. They also have wonderful margaritas.

Yelp
Our girl group was craving a seafood boil and came to The Reel Seafood & Bar with high hopes after seeing stellar reviews. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet expectations. For seafood boils, you can either customize your own boil or select from their pre-curated batches. From there, you will then choose your preferred flavor and spice level. To make things easier (and more cost-effective), our group of four decided to go with The Reel Pack. The Reel Pack comes with 3 lbs of crawfish, 1 lb of shrimp, 2 clusters of snow crab, and the typical fixings. We ordered a mix of the Garlic Butter and Tom Yum seasoning with a mild spice level. The seasoning was amazing, however, the seafood itself was disappointing. Since the seafood has been previously frozen, the seafood tasted overcooked and rubbery. TLDR: The Reel's seafood boil offers great flavors, but lacks freshness

Yelp
5 stars for one of the best flavors in Houston! We had a very limited time in Houston and wanted to see what the best crawfish boil/ seafood boil there was in the area and Yelpers came through! 2 lbs of crawfish (garlic butter), 1 lb shrimp ( tom yum and garlic butter combo) 1 blue crab ( garlic butter) , 1 cluster crab legs ( garlic butter) -- all mild. All fresh and well cooked, crawfish season was going on and the crawfish was fresh and big. All these sauces were so good we were just trying to get as much on each bite as we can. All winners in my book! You can combine sauces- we did that for the shrimp, which was Tom Yum and garlic butter per our server's recommendation. My husband ordered the friend honey spiced shrimp-- get this!! Such a big portion and the shrimp were not skimpy. They came butterflied and lightly battered and flavored and drizzled. So light and crunchy but also tender. Hard to describe! We also got their broiled oysters Vietnamese style which is topped off with shallots green onions garlic and lemongrass so good ! Prices are fair, interior is clean and modern, restrooms are clean and airy, bar is stocked well. High tops and booths also. Private/ shared lot. Service is friendly and prompt. Will highly recommend this and we will be back!

Yelp
So good and always hits the spot!! Peak crawfish season which means good size and the shells are not too hard yet. Service is always great and awesome atmosphere with friends

Yelp
Service was good, food not so much. No wait on a weeknight. Staff was super attentive and friendly. We ordered: -oysters -shrimp - this was overcooked, it was so difficult to eat -crawfish - half of our crawfish were mushy and inedible. it made me sad because that's the entire reason we came -fries -wings - we ordered spicy garlic and omg it was TERRIBLE lol the flavor was incredibly offputting. do NOT get that flavor With other crawfish places, I likely won't be back for a while.

Yelp
Stopped in with my husband and stepson. Had a variety of the foods. Started off with shrimp and corn and potatoes. They were great. It is a wet style sauce which allows you to combine flavors. Medium Cajun garlic butter is our favorite. The garlic noodles will keep vampires away for sure. The crawfish also were tasty. It is great way for each person to get something they would like. The hush puppies had us all wanting more. Tom yum oysters were different but in a good day. Our glasses stayed fairly full. The waiter and others would stop by to check in. They provided bibs along with gloves. Each table is covered with a paper sheet which allows them easy clean up. It isn't anything too fancy but nice clean environment. Honestly looking around at others food made me want to try even more next time.

Yelp
Came her last night for the crawfish and it was SO GOOD! I got a pound of Cajun mild crawfish and my friend got a pound of garlic butter mild crawfish. We also got corn and potatoes. The crawfish was delicious and there was a mix of big, medium, and small crawfish. We also got the fried green beans and friend okra (not pictured) which were amazing as well. The service was great, are waiter was really nice and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and nice, it's only been here for a little less than a year and I can't believe I didn't find this place sooner. I also liked how they gave us bibs and gloves for crawfish. I will definitely be back!!

Yelp
While the food is good, this is the second time that they add or increase the amount of the tip so be sure to look at your receipt before you leave!

Yelp
Good place with plenty of seafood selections, and multiple TV sporting events. Family friendly prices. I thought the grilled salmon was a bargain.

Yelp
Love this place for asian style crawfish! Delicious flavors and a great selection of sides. I love to start off with a michelada and my friend loves their margaritas. The garlic butter is my favorite crawfish flavor and I love adding edamame and their spicy sausage. I do wish the oysters and crawfish were bigger sized, but they're still pretty good for this time of year. The beignets sticks are nonnegotiable for dessert too!! This place is a MUST for crawfish season! Sometimes there is a long wait around dinner time and weekends but service has been great every time I've been.
google avatar

Yelp
Came for 1/2 off oysters during lunch and their grilled oysters are perfectly seasoned! Their fried mushrooms are probably one of my favorites. The batter and seasoning they use is perfect for frying! Service is always great.

Yelp
REEL-ly great seafood here. Crawfish was pretty big despite the rough season this year. Tom yum flavor was unique and delicious. Very fragrant and spicy. Thai chili wings were super crispy and tangy. Crab legs were quite meaty and fresh, great happy hour price as well. Garlic noodles were so simple yet so so delicious... highly recommend. Loved the catfish because they were such big yet crispy, delicious pieces. Fried rice was a bit bland but since everything was already packed with flavor I didn't mind it! Michelada was delicious as well. Friendly service was appreciated. I also liked the sinks out in the open! Will definitely be coming back here for future crawfish seasons.

Yelp
Reel Seafood is undoubtedly a standout in the Heights / Oak Forest scene, particularly for its exceptional crawfish offerings. The simple, laid-back interior puts the focus squarely on the food, and rightly so. The Cajun hot crawfish with quail eggs and edamame is nothing short of spectacular - seasoned to perfection and bursting with flavor. Reel Seafood has undoubtedly earned its reputation for serving some of the best crawfish in Houston, making it a must-visit for seafood lovers in the area.
google avatar

Marlynn M.

Yelp
Yay!!! They got crawfish and shrimp down. We ordered hot Cajun garlic butter. Not mega spicy just right. Love that I don't have to drive to china town that was my usually. Along with that had the Reel fries. Yummy and flavorful. Not pictured. We were there around 5 and not packed but closer 6 there was a wait.

Yelp
Service and crawfish both were impeccable. Alex was our server and he was the best. Alex is very attentive and suggested flavors that deliver that taste you crave for in a crawfish boil. I ordered the crawfish flavor mix with Tom Yum, garlic butter and Cajun that put me in Crawfish Heaven. The potato portion is huge. I searched for a crawfish spot that could deliver the flavor I missed from the Seafood Spot that closed on 59S and Murphy Rd. This place didn't disappoint and I will be a regular now. The grilled oysters and Honey Cajun chicken wings were also so delicious. I like that they provide bibs and gloves as other spots I visited did not. Give this spot a try and request Alex as your server.

Yelp
Personally, it's uncomfortable that they hide the prices! The food wasn't bad but I think it's a little expensive, the service wasn't very good and the drinks were very simple. They need to improve, it was Sunday and they only had two tables, that says a lot. The shrimps were dirty.
google avatar

Huyen C.

Yelp
Our friends were in town and wanted to try crawfish. Bellaire is a bit of a drive for us, so we recommended REEL Seafood & Bar since we've been before and it's in town. Parking is easy. We were seated right away and safe to say, our friends from Dallas really enjoyed it. We definitely over ordered since we were so hungry... We got the grilled oysters, Parmesan fries, egg rolls, wings and a pound of shrimp with mixed flavoring. Our table also ordered gumbo, raw oysters, turkey neck, catfish platter, crawfish and popcorn shrimp. All the portions were great, we had lots of leftovers. Food came out hot, full of flavors and worth the price! Our servers were very nice, it was easy to spilt the bill amongst 3 couples. Definitely check it out! Loved the mixed seasoning for crawfish/shrimp!

Yelp
I've been meaning to try this place because a friend recommended it. The menu sounded SO delish. I literally wanted to try everything! That being said, everything we ordered was bland and disappointing The pros: great service, cute/trendy spot with lots of TVs to watch the Astros, and a bar (not sure if full bar, but there was adult beverages for sure).

Yelp
Looking for a good crab boil place that also had other local Houston flavors. Ended up coming here to give them a try. It has a rather large interior. With bar seating, regular seating, and booth seating. Televisions all over the place where you can catch a game or two. We ordered a whole bunch of different things: 1. Combination fried rice- evidently this place has some Vietnamese/Asian influence. The dish was light compared to all the fried and heavy seafood we ordered. Lots of different meats and vegetables in the dish. Not overly oily. It was good. 2. Egg rolls- pork egg rolls. They were crunchy and flaky. Pork inside was really good. Not too greasy. They were pretty good as well. 3. Fried mushroom- gave us a feel of eating healthy even though we weren't. Deep fried. Not oily at all. Meaty. Good flavors. They were good. 4. Grilled oysters- these were like an oyster Rockefeller. Extremely hot when it first comes out. Great seasoning on top of them. It was in a garlic butter. It tasted amazing. Cooked well. These were also really good. 5. Raw oyster- Light, cold, refreshing. Simple, delicate but tasted good. 6. Chicken wings- had them battered with 2 different sauces. A honey cajun and a spicy garlic. Didn't care for the spicy garlic. There was no garlic taste. It was just hot. And yet they put so much garlic it was a very thick paste. The honey cajun was good. Some heat and some sweet. Wings were crunchy, but the meat inside was juicy and moist. 7. Shrimp in the crab boil- the garlic hot sauce was good. Shrimp cooked ok. Sausage had a nice kick as well. 8. Soft shell crab with fries- fries were really good. Soft, crunchy, salty. They were great!! The soft shell crab was really good too. Fried well. Crunchy. Flavors were great. It was really good. 9. Snow crab legs- sold in clusters. Which is basically half the legs of a crab. Pretty expensive. The sauce it was in tasted amazing. But way too much work for so little crab meat. 10. Beignet sticks- kind of like mini churros. Slightly doughy. They give you some powdered sugar and liquid chocolate to put on it. Overall food was pretty good. Some things like the crab and shrimp are quite expensive. Customer service was sub par. The guy seemed mad. Or he didn't want to be there. Was on his phone at the bar area. Very disengaged. If customer service was better I would've given them a solid 5 stars.

Yelp
If you're looking to curb your crawfish craving, this is the place!!! My go to place to get some good crawfish used to be crawfish cafe, but I think I found my new favorite spot. The flavors are so spot on and there hasn't been one bad dish that we've ordered that we didn't like. The crawfish itself, wooo weeee...with the garlic butter. I'm not talking about like a hint of garlic butter flavor, I'm talking about in your face garlic butter goodness! You get real pieces of garlic in there too. You can even order a side of ramen with garlic butter to pour in there. But warning, do not dump that whole garlic butter on top of that ramen. Add little by little and taste to your liking. But don't be afraid to try their other sauces like their Tom Yum flavor, it slaps! None of their flavoring is subtle and that's what I like about it. When they say Tom yum, you can taste it and it's a really flavor. And if you haven't tried their fried chicken skin, you've been missing out. It has that really nice crunch.

RC E.

Yelp
Don't order the Reel Fried Rice. They'll just send you the regular fried rice without any crawfish or "creamy shrimp" at a higher price.
google avatar

Ruben G.

Yelp
The atmosphere at Reel Seafood was inviting, and the menu looked promising. However, the food lacked flavor and the service was slow. Overall, a disappointing experience. Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I won't attend again.

Yelp
Crawfish season is hea! This new location did not disappoint! Food: Fire! Boudin Balls - Great appetizer. Piping hot and crispy with a side of sauce. Shrimp (Head Off) - I ordered mild and it was truly mild, just the way I like it! The garlic butter flavor was pronounced, and I kept coming back to dip my crawfish in it. Crawfish - We went with the "mixed" flavor, medium spicy. I loveee add-in options and that they had plenty of. We added mushrooms, corn and quail eggs! Service: Excellent! The servers checked in often. Once the crawfish shell bowls were full they came by to take it away for you. It's nice not having to flag someone down for service and they were quite busy on a Saturday afternoon. At the end of the meal, they will bring a handheld device over so you can pay with receipt options (text, email, or print). Ambiance: Relaxed! Nothing fancy. Casual, laid back and clean. There's a small bar area. Limited alcohol is served. Must try place if you love crawfish! I'll have to return for the other menu items.
google avatar

Tracey H.

Yelp
This was my first time eating at Reel Seafood. The shrimp basket I ordered was tasty! I am quite disappointed that the catfish listed on the menu is actually Swai fish ( I ask these days). I don't like this type of bait and switch. Asian catfish ( Swai) doesn't hardly compare to real catfish and it's illegal to advertise Swai fish as catfish in the U.S. Please correct this error immediately. "In 2003, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) passed a law that only fish in the Ictaluridae family, which includes American catfish but not swai, can be labeled or advertised as catfish." Whether I return will be based on the establishment's correction of Swai fish being advertised as catfish.

Caroline N.

Yelp
Love ambiance and the food. I try the garlic butter flavor everywhere I go, and this place did not disappoint. However, I really like the Tom Yum flavor for the crawfish here! It is garlic butter with tom yum so it was a good balance. I normally eat spicy everywhere I go, and this place the spicy was more medium to me. But that's not a big deal. Not included in the pictures but I love that they offer quail eggs with the boil instead of the full-size egg. Perfect bite. I love the fried green beans for appetizers! Perfect coating of batter and seasoned with Cajun powder. Super addicting. The fried pickles was pickle spears instead of slices, which I would've preferred the slices to have more crunch. But that's preference. Parmesan fries were pretty solid. Grilled oysters were expected, pretty good size. Service was friendly, someone would come by and check up on us. We didn't even drink our water as much but the server came by to ask if we would like a refill anyways. Will be back!

Yelp
Dined in on a Sunday at 6:00 pm with a party of 4 and was seated immediately. Thanks to our server, Andy! We tried every crawfish flavor and they were all bland. Maybe I went on an off day, not sure. We ordered: Crawfish: we tried all the flavors and they were all bland, the infamous Tom yum flavor was the best but nothing blew our minds. It is missing that umami hit! Might need to slap it with some fish sauce. Fried mushrooms: delicious!! They cut the mushrooms in half so it's a smaller bite, juicy, perfect seasoning in the batter. Comes with ranch. 1 catfish + 4 shrimp combination basket: perfect thin crispy batter, seasoned to perfection. Comes with hush puppies and fries, both very good. Vietnamese grilled oysters: dry, no flavor, has green onions and crispy garlic on top but it did not have any Vietnamese flavors.
google avatar

Lyn N.

Yelp
The best seafood and crawfish you can get in north side houston. Anyone who says otherwise can battle me pound for pound. Crawfish is not salty here. Service is great and there's plenty of parking. Everything I ordered was delicious: Fried chicken skin Sausage scallop and quail egg Crawfish with garlic butter + cajun medium spicy. Mild is not spicy at all Reel fried rice!!!
google avatar

Timmy L.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this new location after they moved from Missouri city. The new place has more seating and a bar you can sit at and eat. They also have a hand washing station in the corner to wash your hands instead of going into the restroom. I got their mix of lemon pepper and garlic butter. The crawfish was cooked well and has a good balance of flavor on them. I also got their fried catfish and oyster platter with rice and that was delicious. This place never disappoints and will come back for more!!
google avatar

Dianne H.

Yelp
The fried snow crab was delicious. Hush puppies exceptional. Moist and tasty. The fried pickle was another level it wasn't oily lightly breaded. Fry rice was delicious but with all of the other seafood on my plate they could've gone lighter on the fishiness. Either way I enjoyed this meal thoroughly. Service was great we ordered online and picked up. Location was tidy smelled clean and would definitely come in to eat.
google avatar

Kevin H.

Yelp
I ordered three things at this place. I ordered Calamari, Hot Lemon Pepper Wings and Tom Yum/Garlic Butter Crawfish (Spicy level Hot). The customer services was phenomenal. The waitress was attentive and kind and she checked in with us repeatedly. Mainly the only reason why I am giving this place two stars. Crawfish flavors were overly sweet, tasted like straight up Tampico juice. The flavors we ordered were Tomyum/garlic butter and it tasted nothing like Tom yum. The spicy was was hot and it tasted mild. The hot lemon pepper wings were okay.. I don't really have a big complaint on those but they were not the best thing in the world. Calamari was the worst. It tasted like eating rubber, it was bland under seasoned. It was chewy. This is their soft opening and I am willing to try it again when I come back but right now it's a 2 star for me.

Yelp
New crawfish place in the area that is actually worth the hype! Y'all go check out Reel seafood! The food is great, service is awesome, the business owners/managers are great! It's spacious and clean. Lots of TVs around to watch sports. There's also a cool bar if you just wanna drink and snack. We ordered so much food! There's still so much I would love to try! Sweet potato fries (4/5) Chicken skins (3/5) Pan roast (4/5) Chicken wings (4/5) The mix flavored crawfish (5/5) Garlic butter flavored crawfish (4/5) Tom yum flavored crawfish (3/5) Garlic noodles (5/5) Fried shrimp basket (4/5) I really love how you can add other add ons to the seafood boil such as edamame, quail eggs, etc. Not a lot of places do that! Overall, this new seafood restaurant and bar is worth the hype!! GO CHECK EM OUTTT

Yelp
Food: 3.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance and space: 5/5 Reel is where that old board game place used to be. Not surprised it didn't survive COVID. Hard to board game virtually. That being said, the parking lot is huge. No concern about finding a spot. They did a good job renovating the inside. There are two sinks in the back on the way to the bathrooms, which I always appreciate. And it's just smart so you don't have a line just waiting to hand wash. There's a small bar on the other side and plenty of seating. The service was top notch. Our server stopped by multiple times to make sure we were ok. And when we asked what the difference was between "naked" and "battered," he gave us the best analogy. Naked = like wingstop. Battered = like popeyes, but not like Korean bbq super crispy. What a great description. I knew exactly what he meant and went with the naked. Parmesan fries (5+/5): I could tell these just came out of the fryer because of the glisten and the heat. They had just the right crunch and Parmesan was well distributed and plentiful. This was gobbled up in about 5 min. Would get this again. Lemon pepper wings (4/5): could have done with more aggressive seasoning, but otherwise nothing wrong with this order. Wings were hot, meat was tender, skin was crisp. However not sure I'd order again unless to try a new flavor. Crawfish (3/5): I got 2 lb mix and although the flavor was ok, it wasn't my favorite. I prefer a bit more garlic. Maybe I'll try just garlic butter next time. The main reason for the lower review is that the crawfish were pretty small given we're at peak season. All the other places are at least medium-large if not large. Was disappointed in the size for sure. Given I was here for crawfish, this weighed more heavily on my food rating. They offer gloves and bib - I didn't pay too close attention to the check but pretty sure it's complimentary. I will return to try some other items and flavors. If second time doesn't blow me away, then I'll just stick to closer locations for my seafood fix.

Yelp
Service was great, they have BOGO on Wednesdays! Wings were hot, fresh, large, and delicious! Loved the tom yum flavor battered shrimp and the sweet potato fries. The shrimp fried rice was just ok, can't wait to go back and try other food on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
A new spot to spice up crawfish season! The crawfish here were fresh, decently sized, and has this naturally sweet flavor. The seasoning was just right without being overly greasy or salty. The tom yum flavor was unique and surprisingly good! Also liked that they have different add on's compared to most crawfish spots like edamame and quail eggs. Even though I ordered to-go, the staff up front and over the phone were nice and helpful! Definitely worth another visit before the season's over to try other menu offerings
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely coming back.. needed my crawfish fix and this place did not disappoint. I got 3 pounds of crawfish

Yelp
This is some solid fried food. The catfish was beautiful. The shrimp were just a tad overdone for my taste. The service excellent. We shared a combo basket and added the green beans. Right amount of food. The waitress was right. The fries are good.

Yelp
I came here hoping it was gonna be a good experience for Monday's AYCE, and thank god it was! The is the first AYCE seafood spot I've found in Houston that's legit. Nothing was old, stale, mushy. All my orders of crab legs were cooked right! Service is decent. Sometimes slow, some times fast. Fries were crispy. The "reel fried rice" was nice and buttery and garlicky. Tastes better than it looks! Would def recommend this spot. Wish it wasn't such a hike to get to.

Yelp
Important to understand, esp to a newbie like me, is how ordering works. On the boiled seafood, you order whichever you'd like... Crawfish Shrimp Snow or king crab legs Dungeness or blue crab Green mussels Scallops The prices are listed according to price per lb, based on market price. Then you choose which flavor you'd like: Cajun Garlic butter Lemon pepper Mix of those 3 Tom yum (a thai flavor) Then you say whether you'd like it mild, med, hot, or atomic. One could instead choose a basket of catfish, shrimp, &/or oysters, a fried basket, or grilled items. I ordered a blue crab & 1lb of green mussels, hoping to eat local, with a side of hush puppies. Fortunately there is a hand washing station out & in the open for clean up when finished.

Yelp
I would say skip this place unless you are dying of hunger. Pros: tons of parking Garlic noodle- flavor was there but the noodles were warm at best. The Asian in me expects noodles to be hot (maybe my expectations were too high??) We got their fried chicken skin, which I honestly did enjoy- crispy, good texture and hot! My biggest gripe- we ordered 5 lbs of crawfish. We asked for 2 different flavors- Tom Yum and the Mixed flavor... when our crawfish came out, they mixed both the flavors into the 5 lbs of crawfish... like why?? Couldn't tell which flavor I liked bc well... they combined both the flavors. Super weird. Ambiance was... not the best. I know it's not the restaurants fault but had a couple of large groups of young college kids yelling and hollering at each other. Again not the restaurants fault but I couldn't wait to get out of there to get my hearing back. Overall, not good. Would not come back.

Yelp
Great new restaurant in the neighborhood. The servers were very attentive and came to check on us multiple times. The crawfish was very flavorful. The Reel fries were crispy and delicious. The garlic butter oysters were piping hot and yummy. Plenty of parking. Will definitely come back to try some other dishes.

Yelp
First of all, this new location is a total upgrade from the old location. I love the sports bar vibes it gives off but yet its still casual enough for families to come in. There's plenty of parking outside as well. The service was phenomenal. Our servers Tim and Ashley were friendly and brought us everything we needed, from extra mayo to our drinks and food. Now to the food, we ordered crawfish (medium mixed flavor) and fresh oysters. The crawfish was good but I should've ordered spicy cause the medium wasn't spicy enough for me. The oysters were big af and delicious! If you're in the Houston area you definitely should give this place a try!

Yelp
I was looking for a crawfish spot with good flavor. I saw that this was opened at the old Tea and Victory location. When I entered the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They actually had lots of staff on site before the dinner rush. Inside, it's clean and bright. I ordered 3 lbs if crawfish at $10/lb. It came out in a timely manner and the gentleman who took my order offered to double check for sauces, but I was ok with not having the sauces. It also came with some melted butter and cajun seasoning. The flavor was good, not very spicy, I got a mix of garlic, cajun, and lemon pepper - medium spice but I got a mix of smaller/medium crawfish. I'll wait a month or so before coming back, I'll wait for larger crawfish to more readily available.

Yelp
Great new spot north of the heights. Love their raw oysters, they thoroughly clean them so you don't taste the gritty sand, just like captain Tom's. Service was awesome, they were very well informed and attentive to our needs. The crawfish is somewhat more mild than other places, but sometimes that's a good thing. Other places would be too seasoned or too much butter and lousiana powdered, but here, they made it alil more mild and you can spice it up with seasoning and butter dip.

Yelp
It was time for crawfish , so we checked out the new Reel Seafood location in the Heights. They did not disappoint. It was amazing! The owner Jeffrey & staff treated us exceptionally well! The food - simply phenomenal! They have some non-seafood options too. You have to try it out! Love that you can decide level of spiciness & options of seasonings. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Crawfish sample plate was so good (perfect to share for 2). It came with 2 corn, 2 potatoes, 1 sausage, 1 lb crab, 1 lb shrimp, and 3 lbs crawfish. Ordered the Cajun and garlic butter combo and spice level hot. The spice was more mild but the flavor was delicious. The heads of the crawfish were juicy. The crab was good and the sides. My only complaint would be the shrimp was really over cooked, and had to dunk in the sauce for them to have flavor. The service was great. Somebody passed by our table at least every 5 minutes. I'll be recommending to friends!
