Best Restaurants for Takeout or Delivery in Austin | Eater Austin

"What started as a farmers market stand now operates as a Jerusalem street food trailer in East Austin. Chicken plates come with turmeric rice and fresh pickles, while the falafel stays crunchy. Order the sumac-dusted loaded fries if you’re looking for something heavier. Place takeout orders on the website." - Darcie Duttweiler

Reem’s Falafel - Review - South Austin - Austin - The Infatuation

"Reem’s is a Mediterranean food truck parked in front of Spokesman Coffee at The Yard in South Austin that's home to excellent falafel, shawarma, and hummus. The menu is tiny, with three different options in sandwich or plate form, plus a few rotating specials. We like the beef and lamb shawarma—the meat gets marinated in a homemade grape vinegar that makes it incredibly tender, and the hummus it’s served with has a silky smooth texture. photo credit: Nicolai McCrary" - Nicolai McCrary

The 11 Best Mediterranean Restaurants & Food Trucks In Austin

"Reem’s is parked outside of The Austin Winery—a natural wine spot that we really enjoy—and it’s home to some excellent falafel, shawarma, and hummus. The menu is tiny, with just three different options in sandwich or plate form, plus a few rotating specials. We like the beef and lamb shawarma—the meat gets marinated in a homemade grape vinegar that makes it incredibly tender, and the hummus it’s served with has a silky smooth texture. Grab a plate or sandwich to go, or bring it into the winery and pair the meal with some funky orange wine. " - nicolai mccrary

Very flavorful! Appreciate that the spicy hummus was actually spicy 🌶️ We enjoyed the chicken and beef/lamb plates. Very good, worth the price. Nice that you can eat the food inside spokesman and order a drink (plus ac and bathroom) Love supporting this place!

Phenomenal food delivered in a timely fashion. That spicy hummus is perfection, and the salad that comes with a plate is unique and compliments the meat perfectly. Wish I got more pics, I was too busy devouring it all lol

This unassuming food truck is possibly easy to pass by but don't! The food is absolutely delicious high quality and presented beautifully presented. The rice is full of flavor fluffy and cooked to perfection. The tabouli is fresh and flavorful and a great compliment to the richness of the hummus and chicken I had on my plate star of the show definitely was the Falafel which is very crunchy on the outside and soft and hot comforting on the inside the house made tahini sauce is out of this world I think the tagline is street food from Jerusalem I must say I believe them I've never had this kind of food in this way before Absolutely Fresh unapologetically authentic do yourself a big favor and stop by

Food is legit delicious. Chicken is really flavorful and well seasoned. Good portion size and price! Glad to have a new food truck at the Yard to pick up dinner.

I've been to a lot of really great Mediterranean places, but I've found that flavor-wise there isn't much variation between many. However, Reem's is not only fantastic but has some unique flavors unlike any I've had—likely owed to their use of family recipes that have been passed down. All of what they make is delicious. The hummus, the tabbouleh, the falafel... everything. But I want to highlight that what they make tastes unique in a sense that I can't explain. I think there are some secret ingredients being added here that takes everything up a notch! The tahini sauce is also a serious highlight for me. The owner is a super nice guy and interacting with him has been a pleasure! Be prepared to pay a high price for some items, but they seriously deserve the business and the quality speaks for itself. I promise you will LOVE the food.

Came here at night and got the chicken shawarma platter with a side of fries and falafel. I had heard about this place online and it met my expectations. The food was delicious and the people in the food truck were nice. I don't think I'd change anything about my order and would absolutely come here again.

Reem’s is always fantastic. Some of the best falafel I’ve ever had. The spicy hummus and tabouli are also delicious. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu really. Plus, the Austin Winery is right next to it. You can eat over there if you’re having a glass.

k make the drive to find this place! Don’t pass it up! It is a place called the yard. It has the Austin winery and some pretty awesome food trucks. Sorry no pictures of my awesome sandwich from Reem’s. It was super yummy and I could stop eating. Definitely a must stop and have a glass of wine and great food!!!! Picnic tables outside to relax.
