Really nice place on the river in a brand new condo complex. But all the beers i had were NOT RIGHT for their styles. The Belgian Dubbel was nowhere near malty or sweet enough and the Russian Imperial Sout was a JOKE. Watery and thin (more like a chocolate Tmave Pivo). They need to do WAY WAY better... otherwise they won't be around long. The craft brewery bubble has burst and only the great will survive!

Very pretty view from the patio on the river. Staff were friendly, beer was cold, and the BBQ was excellent. Great spot to relax.

Was just there today, for the first time….Have been at the Woodstock and Canton locations in the past, but this is the closest to where we live. So decided to try it….Once you get past the parking, which ends up being free, this is a great location! The beer was great, as expected! Very nice bartender….I’m 69 and past my IPA prime! 😅. I’ve become basically a lager guy again….had the Mexican Lager, which was great! Also had a grolsch, one of their new brews. It was also very good! My wife had their new rice lager (Clarity), which was a great lite beer and I think gluten free (though it doesn’t matter to me). A big bonus: there’s a BBQ place right next door, Grand Champion BBQ. Incredible chopped or pulled pork BBQ pork sandwich! Their mustard based sauce was excellent! I HIGHLY recommend this place!! I’ve always like Reformation Brewery, and this may be my favorite! If you’re in the area, this is a must!!!

Google
Nice spot! Place is small compared to their huge party crowd-centric locations, and I like the more scaled back vibe. The beer is good here; had a Pilsner and a hazy IPA, and enjoyed them both. Staff were friendly and attentive, and there’s a good amount of parking in the area. Glad I finally checked it out.

Hard to beat the combo of a “cold one” Pils with the INCREDIBLE BBQ of Owens & Hull. All new menu from 2 of the top BBQ guys in the south east. For real! I’ve never had BBQ that good before. Game changer. Get the Huey. Don’t sleep on the turkey either!

I enjoy visiting the taproom. Wide selection of beers to choose from. I love the decor on the roof there is a boat and you can see the machinery used to make the beer. Each beer was in the $6-$7 range. The surroundings are awesome. Plenty of green space, a water feature, and ample room to sit down and enjoy your beer.

Reformation Brewery in Smyrna is a must-visit for its unbeatable combo of great beers, laid-back vibes, and prime location along the Chattahoochee River, where you can sip a pint by the water or stroll nearby trails. This is Smyrna’s first brewery in 2020, it’s fostered a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere with a dog- and family-friendly taproom, minimal TVs to encourage connection, and fun events like trivia and karaoke. The 16-tap lineup shines with everything from crisp Pilsners like “A Cold One” to rich Belgium Ale and creative sours like Alani, perfectly paired with Grand Champion BBQ next door. With its local charm, riverfront views, and stellar brews, Reformation is the ultimate spot to kick back and feel right at home.

Google
Glad this place is so close! Beautiful views since it’s right next to the water. Went with a group with varying beer preferences and we were all happy with our choices (love the Alani!) Super dog friendly. Loved that you can get BBQ right there too. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I really like this bar and how close it is to my apartment complex. It reminds me of my college days in Orlando. There's corn hole, a television if you're interested in watching it, music, and outdoor seating. My favorite beer is definitely the Jude! I haven't tried anything else. The service is always great! And there's a bbq restaurant right next door!

Yelp
If you like hard seltzers, the keylime and cherry was delicious! We were out with friends and they suggested the location. It's a nice location, parking is easy, the drinks are great and the bbq next door was also terrific.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place a lot more than I did... The patio is lovely, but it was spoiled by a DJ playing music so loudly we couldn't talk to each other at all--not really the Sunday Funday vibe I was hoping for. (No idea how the people in the surrounding apartments can stand it. I like music, but this was super excessive.) The brewery was understaffed on the day we visited, but the bartender was very nice and attentive and managed the workload well. I tried the wheat beer (not a fan) and the radler (does the job). I would visit again on a non-DJ day to try some other beers and hopefully enjoy the beautiful patio.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place, bartender was absolutely phenomenal. Beer was good and we left with a smile on our faces. Not to many places do that anymore

Yelp
Definitely didn't expect to find a brewery hidden in Smyrna right off of the Chattahoochee river. It's nicely tucked away where you can enjoy strolling along the trail that runs horizontal to the Chattahoochee or you can sit outside with your beer while overlooking the Chattahoochee. There's also board games inside and lots of TVs for watching March madness or college football season. We were also happy to find a bbq joint is attached to this location. Definitely makes for a good evening and weekend hangout spot. Come check it out. They also have some cool drinking mugs, cups, etc for you to take home.

Yelp
This is brewery located in the Mableton/Smyrna area overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Nice spot to bring your beloved pets while sipping some craft beers on a beautiful sunny day. Even if it rains, they have plenty of seating inside the establishment. If you get the munchies, they have a BBQ joint called Grand Champion BBQ attached next to the brewery (they share the same building). Come one, come all! We will definitely come back here being so close to home!

Yelp
First time here. Definitely a cool spot right beside the Chattahoochee. We wanted something close to Smyrna and this will be our new go too. Great beer selection and some amazing sours! BBQ right beside for easy food selection.

Yelp
Smyrna's first brewery has finally opened! Reformation Brewery has brought the specialty beers to the neighborhood, finally!! Located in an unincorporated part of the city, between Veterans Memorial and South Cobb, along the Chattahoochee River on the backside of an apartment complex sits this location of Reformation! While the area is clearly on the rise, Reformation kicked off the up-tick of life in this section of Smyrna and is soon to be followed by apartments, parks, restaurants and other chill spots for you, the fam and the puppers! As mentioned, you have to search a little for this place...when you pull up, you will be greeted by Chattahoochee Coffee and the apartments themselves, but don't fret...simply drive around the building and the shining light of Reformation will confirm you have arrived! Unlike the other locations, this spot is definitely smaller. However, smaller does not mean any less fantastic as this place is laid out quite well! The tap room is a large L shape with plenty of seating from high tops to standing communal tables to actual dining tables. One cool thing about this location is that they have a large door that will eventually connect them to a BBQ place. Booze and BBQ, need I say more! In addition to being shoulder to shoulder with an eatery, this location sits directly on the Hooch, so in better weather you can chill by the water and sip your IPA. At first glance you may question this location, but after seeing what this area has to offer, you quickly realize Reformation Brewery made big moves and is getting in on the ground floor of a fantastic development! The beers themselves are wide in variety and heavy on taste! I am a fruity, sour and witbier type of guy - lucky for me, they had me covered! I began my day with the Haddy, which was a witbier that was light and refreshing! I followed this up with the JOGR, which gets its name from being a juicy lager. Sounds weird, tastes great! Overall, I am beyond excited to have Reformation here in Smyrna and cannot wait to continue to support them through he transformation they are spearheading for our community!

Yelp
This is a great place to just hang out with friends and family. Not too loud, not too busy, just right. I like most of what they have on tap. I highly recommend checking out this location.

Yelp
After visiting Sweetwater State Park our next stop was here at Reformation Brewery where indoor service was suspended but at least they let us use the bathrooms and they let me purchase some merch. Got their cool "Nolan the Wanderer" shirt named after the same IPA which literally is formulated seasonally, hence the wanderer. I forget which iteration they are in. This is a new location. They had a counter from which folks were serving us the beer which we took and sat in front to enjoy at our own table. Afterwards we concluded with a little bit of clowning around the Chattahoochee River. Good enjoyable beer too.

Yelp
We drank outside and got our beer from a window. It was yummy beer and high alcohol content. We drank one of many IPAs. This is during covid, so everyone was spread out and mostly alone. The river is near so after our beer and before driving home we did a walk along the river. It was a nice relaxing place and there are apartments near, even looking down which can be good and bad to live there. I will definitely come back when the place is fully open again!

Yelp
We did the beer-to-go and ordered through the website. Super easy and you get a text confirmation of the order. Ordered a growler of the Denali IPA to go with some Grand Champion BBQ from next store. They have an outside bar that you can walk up to and pick up your order. Super friendly and easy transaction. They poured the growler right after confirming my order and they seal the bottles with some plastic and heat gun. Great spot to have a cold refreshing beer and take a stroll by the river. The beer was super delicious and drinkable. The Denali IPA is 6% ABV and not too bitter, nice touch of pine and citrus that makes an IPA wonderful. Will definitely return to try other beers. On the website, the other locations in the region have a larger selection of seasonal beer, but the location is awesome, tucked away, quiet, and not crowded at all.

Yelp
We love coming here! Location is great, and we love that there is a bbq restaurant next door. Super dog friendly as well! We love walking down the trail and down by the river.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere. Great people and they are very nice. There is one tv for watching sports etc. Grand Champion BBQ is connected next door so when you walk in you will smell some good BBQ notes in the air. Definitely worth stopping by. The serving side of the brewery is in the back of the building. Not the spot you'll initially come up on from the road. FYI

Yelp
This is such a great place for a brewery. There is so much open space to avoid other people (whether for COVID precautions or just general misanthropy) and enjoy a nice view of the river. I love that the bar is two-sided and the outward facing side has big windows that open up so you can access from the outside. Add in one of those garage door style windows and the space opens up so much! Service has been great, even when it's busy. I've only been on Friday afternoons and by 5-6, it's hoppin'. It's pretty easy to get to and there's plenty of parking so I don't mind trekking out to west OTP to meet friends here!

Yelp
Found the one in Smyrna tucked back against the hooch. Nothing unique about this place.

Yelp
Great new Reformation Brewery location in Smyrna. Right by the river. Can walk along with the river with your drink or sit at a picnic bench and enjoy the view. Lots of grass and open area for the kids. Highly recommend! Neighborhood is being built up but looks like it's gonna be a great place to hang in the future.

Yelp
Love this place! Great location. Friendly staff. Great beers. Love that it is so family and dog friendly. We have come on a date night and as a family and have had a great time.

Yelp
Be aware they allow dogs in this place. If you want to hear barking dogs as if you're at the pet store then it won't be a problem for you. I had allergy issues the rest of the weekend for the amount of animals I had to be around to eat my dinner. In my opinion it's not fair to people there eating at the BBQ restaurant to have to deal with this. I don't understand how this is even allowed with the health department. It's gross. This place is half brewery half restaurant but everyone sits in the same place. I should not have to sit around barking dogs inside a restaurant. Plus, hygiene wise I don't think you want a flea infestation for in your restaurant for that one irresponsible pet owner that does not take care of their pet properly. It's pretty gross if you think about it. I now clearly understand why the health dept and dept of agriculture sets rules like this. And btw these dogs were absolutely not labeled as service animals or ESA'S.

Yelp
Let me be upfront. I'm kind of a Beer Snob. I only drink Microbrew because I like to taste my beer and not just get drunk or silly. I had a recommendation from a friend to get out of my Marietta Bubble and try a place called Reformation Brewery at their new Location in Smyrna. Happily to my surprise, They have Several beers on tap with their "Beers to go" during this time as well as seasonal cans and bottles or 6 packs of you don't want to have a whole Growler at one time. I even picked up a seasonal you don't see in stores. it's a pick up window with plenty of space to stay safe. The Space looks great and once COVID is over I'm gonna belly up for a flight or 2 of their deliciousness. I am SO glad that I did! Jermel behind the stick let me sample my hearts content while explainIng how he and the team craft their flavors. Not ONCE did I hear "this is close to Budweiser" as an explanation, but he explained why they chose what notes they used to CRAFT their beer and what he would call "An after work one timer" before heading home or "a game watching beer that is just as good 1st glass to last or to tailgate and enjoy." He didn't push any one style, i never once felt like he was trying to up sell me and listened to what I was saying and asked questions about my preferences (and like I said I sampled most of their offerings.) I took home 3 growlers, a Six pack of one I really enjoyed and a tall bottle of a seasonal he recommended. That was just for me. My main crux for the trip was to get some Craft goodies for few buddies of mine who could use a "Beer Fairy" delivery as we are all home with kids. I snagged 2 more 6 sixes and 4 pack of a high gravity of flavors I'm sure they would enjoy and have already gotten messages of "I'm there next weekend". Stop by to see Jermel behind the sticks next weekend and let him help you find your next go to beer. You may see me there!

Sarah S.

Yelp
Love this place! It felt super-safe during Covid, as they served through the window and sanitized between customers. Hopefully they wont have to go back to doing that, but I know they're ready if needed. The river view space is beautiful, and it's easy to find a quiet place to work during the day.

Yelp
Not to packed for this location. Nice hidden gem in an up and coming area. They allow dogs too! It's going to be a nice spot in the the summer.

Ben R.

Yelp
Absolutely love the location and staff. The beer is always on point. Have been coming since they opened. Always stay longer than anticipated due to conversations with staff. I have learned so much about beer. My understanding of beer styles is greatly increased and I'm always adding new styles to my weekly drinking. I used to come in on Sunday evenings, that has changed due to the very annoying trivia guy. I have noticed patronage has decreased more that 50% specifically because of the trivia gentleman.

Yelp
Great spot for beer and easily accomplished social distancing. Our party of two stopped at champion BBQ before ordering a beer at the bar. We were quickly and courteously served. By then our BBQ order was ready and we journeyed outside to a picnic table to chow down and experience our selected beers. I had a tripel that I quite enjoyed and husband got the Oktoberfest which he said was very close to the authentic German beer. Will be back soon.

Yelp
The brewery is in a great location, once you find it. You could grab a beer and some BBQ and go walk around the Chattahoochee river right in front of it. The bar keeps are friendly, professional, very knowledgeable, and always ready with a smile on their faces.

Yelp
Great time, friendly staff and perfect when the weather is good. Totally kid friendly and prices were reasonable.

Yelp
This is an amazing atmosphere. It is connected to Grand Champion BBQ. Everyone here is very friendly. However, their jeopardy rep, (they do jeopardy on Sundays) Josh, is not the move. He sings to every song he plays and is very loud. It kills the vibe.
