"It always blows visitors minds that at most of the city’s movie theaters, you can pre-book specific seats, meaning that you can eat dinner and wander around until minutes before the show starts, and not have to jockey and jostle for position. We love the Arclight in particular because there’s an on-site bar and during 21+ screenings you can sip your wine while you watch. Locations in Culver City, Hollywood, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Sherman Oaks."

Regal Sherman Oaks and Sherman Oaks Galleria: I hadn’t been there in years. Until yesterday. Sadly, the theater looks like the last time I was there many years ago…I mean, it’s OK,…it’s a movie theater…but it could really use the revamping that they’re now advertising (see pic). But IMHO, they should’ve revamped it a long time ago, in order to compete with new/updated theaters other places in the city… Don’t get me wrong—it was fine for the movie: the seats were comfortable, the screen big enough, sound good. The bar and concession stand were fine and functioned very well—nothing was lacking. It all just looks very tired. I don’t think the theater itself is a problem. That whole shopping center needs revamping, a good face lift—it’s showing its age. The ShermanOaks Galleria is by no means what it was many years ago. I think it’s surviving by the office space they have leases on, and a couple of restaurants that people probably frequent when they go to the movies… But there are no significant stores to attract the public. That’s the reason I hadn’t been there in years! And the facade on it all just looks old and very worn. The parking also used to be free, and now it’s very expensive. Luckily, if you go to the movies, the theater does validate for 4 hr, which is great. It’s definitely worth seeing a movie there, since you get to park for free. But a revamping of the theater and especially the whole shopping center would be awesome. At least the theater is advertising that “it’s coming” (see pics). I wish it were coming for the the whole shopping center as well! And adding stores that people like and frequent might just restore it to its long-gone glory. I sure hope so.

Was attended by Jed, he was amazing. They had a movie promo for Karate Kid and ran out of head bands. This guy went above and beyond to make my sons night special. He found another headband and brought it to our seats. My son was beaming with excitement and still is as he wears the headband now! Definitely memorable experience, will continue to come here :)<3=€

Came for the regal movie theater and customer service was exceptional we were having issues ordering a ticket and a manager was phenomenal and taking care of helping us fix it. Staff at the counter was also really great

While I appreciate the efforts of the manager and staff, particularly Erich, in addressing the issue we encountered, I noticed that the theater could benefit from better cleanliness. There was food on the floor and seats, and the popcorn we received was stale and cold. I hope that steps can be taken to improve the overall experience for future visitors.

Google
Regal theater shows lots of movies. I watched The first slam dunk. Seats are not as much comfortable than AMC, but not bad. Not too strong air conditioner, I like that. 4hours of validation available. The mall has various exciting places. Easy to access to Frw 405, 101.

Google
This is the first Regal I visited. It's a bit bigger than the one in North Hollywood. This one is set in the Galleria. Overall, this is a pretty good theater. It's spacious. The staff is very nice. There's more lines open to get concessions during busy times. There's considerably more space. And has a bit more airy feeling due to it. There's a very comfortable feeling in this particular Regal. And there's several restaurants and shops inside the Galleria. Nice place to catch a movie and than dinner after (or dinner then a movie).

Shout out to Cole for the help! Needed help getting my movie tickets back. Such an amazing quick and easy experience. Super friendly and professional thank you.

Google
There was no line to get in, but the concession section was a bit slow. The service was still very courteous and helpful. The theatre itself was large and comfortable.

Yelp
Easy to get into, can use their app to get tickets and show them walking in, seats are comfy but I understand they may be getting new ones in some theaters. The lobby is nice and large with a bar if one wants a drink before the show, which I haven't taken advantage of but some do. The sound is good and the pictures good as well. The one thing that I've learned is that there are about a half hour of trailers and ads, so I've learned to come in if it's not crowded about 15 minutes after the posted starting time so I don't have to sit through lots of commercials, although I do understand why they are played. Saw A Complete Unknown the other day and I would recommend it to all.

Yelp
Reminding me why I hate going to the movies. 25 minutes of TV commercials followed by 8 movie previews followed by more commercials before the movie. The theatre was a sweatbox, and when we asked staff to turn on the air conditioning, they only did so for 5 minutes. The sound was SO lound (and it wasn'tan action film), but I guess it was like that to cover up the even louder sounds on the street or alley directly outside the theatre exit doors (because noises of dogs parking and people shouting and fighting persistently interrupted the film). So watch out for theatre 16. I choose this theatre often because you can select your seats when you buy your ticket. But they have to have that feature at other places, right? It's time for me to find a better theatre or just stay home.

Yelp
How is this place still in business? Went there to watch Mufasa with my son and his friend. Popcorn had a weird sour odor to it. My son ate some and couldn't eat anymore. His friend didn't even touch it. Seats were horrible and stained. I bet they never been cleaned. Dust everywhere. Light was ON for 15 minutes of the movie and it took several complaints to turn them off. I couldn't concentrate on the movie at all. Just wanted to get home and take a shower after this gross experience.

Yelp
Strangest experience happened here, I was cut off by the bartender after asking for a cheap glass of red wine. It was first condescendingly explained to me they have individual distributors therefore no "house red" and once clarified I was just looking for a cheap glass of red the bartender got annoyed and told me I had been over served It was an empty bar so I know I wasn't holding him up. He then called the manager on his speaker and made it sound like I was upset (and to be clear I would never ask for a manager I hate that attention). He then stood the manager next to him to explain how he decides who to serve and made it sound like I was trying to sneak my wife wine or something. Never been a part of a more uncomfortable public situation where someone clearly was trying to get something back at me...because I clearly must have accidentally bothered this guy in my interaction requesting a simple glass of wine. Really really strange experience. Again when I sat down there was nobody in the entire area, no customers, no BARTENDERS, nobody just me. I wasn't even bothered, but the whole manipulation with calling the manager, it was just so strange. We left the movie halfway through will Hopefully get our money back Maybe just know what your cheaper glasses of red wine are on the menu dude, it's easier than making a big scene over your power issues.

Yelp
The lobby of this theatre is so spacious and has a lot of little displays you can take pictures with. They have a bar in the lobby which is also pretty convenient if you maybe arrive to your movie a little early and want to grab a drink. Lines for concessions moved quickly. I was a bit bummed they had Pepsi and not Coke products. As silly as it sounds, I was really looking forward to having a crisp diet coke straight from the fountain to enjoy during the movie. As far as the theatre itself, seats are OK. Comfortable on the bum but no neck rest or anything, so if you are seated close to the screen, your next is just craning up with no support. The seats felt somewhat roomy, I wasn't smashed into my neighbor at all. The theater itself was very clean which is a big plus. The biggest bummer of my recent visit was that the screen was SO dark! I couldn't believe how bad it looked. I feel like I have to go see the movie again just so I can see it how it's really meant to be seen. Bathrooms here are super clean and there are a ton of them.

Yelp
I like the regal theaters at the Sherman Oaks galleria. This used to be an arc light location, but after those closed down during the pandemic this location was purchased by regal and has turned into a regal Cinema. This location is the top tier of regal cinemas, I don't know what they call them, but basically it means that there's additional food options and a bar in the lobby. The location itself is nice, it's conveniently located in the Sherman Oaks galleria. The practical things that are nice about this location is they have plenty of parking in the gallery of parking structure, and the movie theater does fully validate parking. The prices are what you would expect at a regal Cinema, so if that's high then it's high, if that's what you would expect then it's what you would expect. I never have any issues with any of the people who work here, the services always nice people are always friendly and helpful. There's also quite a few theaters, so if you're looking for a movie that may not be quite as popular you're probably not going to have an issue finding it at this location. They'll probably have it. so, all in all, a really nice location. It's convenient to get to, it's nice that they pay for parking and that parking is convenient. I think it's really going to come down to your preference between regal or AMC or Cinemark depending on which movie theater you decide that you want to go to.

Yelp
Well, let's see... this is the old Arclight theatre that is now called Regal theatre. the indoor parking structure has many levels and ample parking. However, the parking spaces are very tight. The theatre is very clean, the bar at the location now has more seating and offers food. If you sit at the bar the view is awesome! I like going there to have a drink and just see the scenery and all the freeway traffic from way above. The pricing is like any other theatre very expensive. However, there's a store that sells drinks and candy very cheap in the galleria. (across from BWW) Theatre has assigned seating, very nice inside with quality sound. the theatre also lets you take drinks into the movie. My only complaint is the parking is way too tight and can get congested depending on time of day and holidays.

Yelp
I brought my daughter here for her first movie It's a nice theatre However , For me parking is important as I have two littles So parking is a bit difficult if you have kids in strollers If you're an adult maybe this won't matter but you do park in a lot with different levels wherever you can inside their parking lot The theatre upon entering is very modern Usually different movie cutouts , balloons , & there is a bar & little shop outside Once entering The concession stand is ok Just was kind of sad they didn't offer any juice or lemonade for children ? All sodas Food was pricey & it wasn't all that great but let's be honest is the food ever really delicious at the movies ? The rooms are clean , bathrooms tidy , There are elevators to the level the theatre is at also escalators It wasnt bad just the parking & the price of food for the quality didn't really do it for me But you do have restaurants & shopping located in the plaza which is a plus

Yelp
Nice theater, with large indoor spaces for waiting. Got to see a preview movie in one of the largest theaters. It was stadium seating, and able to hold a couple hundred folks (each seat was taken). Good sight lines and sound. No recliners, but chairs were comfortable enough and far enough back so you don't have to stand up if someone is walking past. They validate parking (though it didn't seem to work for us).
google avatar

Yelp
As some other reviews have mentioned the sound balancing in this theater is a joke. Went to see the unrated version of Saw in theaters for the 20th anniversary and it was so incredibly loud for no reason. Thankfully I had ear plugs in my bag or I honestly would've left. They also charged me $7 for a cup of water just because I asked for a larger cup so I wouldn't have to come back out for refills. Don't imagine I'll be coming back. Also a very personal gripe is I wish they had something promotional out for the Saw movie...like it's the 20th anniversary come on y'all.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been to this location - so long in fact that it was before Regal took over from the Arclight. Located in the Sherman Oaks Galleria on the 3rd floor, it looks pretty much exactly how I remembered the Arclight just with Regal's name slapped on it. There are no recliner seats so plan accordingly. They provide free parking validation for up to 4 hours so don't forget to validate your ticket (parking gets pricey at the Sherman Oaks Galleria). Theaters and restrooms are clean enough but not spotless. The crowds are either respectful or overly inconsiderate/privileged jerks who vape inside the theater.

Yelp
I've seen several movies here and always had a good experience. The lobby is spacious and has beer, wine and cocktails available. The popcorn is very good but I haven't tried any other snacks. The auditoriums are clean, seats are comfortable and there's very good picture and sound. Get your parking ticket validated from the little machine between the concessions and the theaters.
google avatar

Ane V.

Yelp
This is my second time watching a movie here since it became a Regal. I agree with fellow Yelpers. The Arclight vibe is still there. The auditoriums have a good capacity of moviegoers. Sound and picture quality is good. I just wish the seats are luxury loungers. Concessions and ticket booth at the entrance. Restrooms have a lot of stalls which I like especially when it is busy. At the time of the visit, they are clean and stocked. They validate parking. Cool!!

Yelp
We went with a group to see The Apprentice this weekend. While the accommodations were nice, and prices competitive, I was dismayed to have to sit through 20 minutes+ of VERY LOUD commercials. I wrongly assumend the film would have a different setting but NO!!! It was so loud it was almost unbearable -- except for I really wanted to see the film. Fortunately, I had some earplugs in my bag, which made it better, but barely so. So be forewarned, if you really want to see a film, and don't want to be distracted by something so loud it sounds like the theater has cheap, old speakers, bring some high quality earplugs. Otherwise, wait til the film streams....

Yelp
This used to be my favorite theater when it was the Arclight. After my visit today, I will never go back. How can you be so understaffed on Black Friday? The line to get in took forever. The person working the line was in no hurry whatsoever. The lines to the concessions were so long and also took forever. They had no cup holders or boxes. I had to balance 3 drinks, popcorn and candy. The bathrooms were disgusting- floors were muddy, no soap. Just so sad to see this theater that I once loved go downhill so much. There was no urgency whatsoever in any line I was in. You know people are trying to make it into the movie on time, right??
google avatar

Hugo V.

Yelp
This theater definitely lost its luster after it was acquired by regal. The restaurant area overlooking the 405 and the hills no longer has a food menu and the drink selection is limited. Employees are nice but some can be slow at the concessions. For instance, I once ordered the boneless wings and the employee took his very sweet time heating them up--and I'm not one to demand exceptional service everywhere I go. But come on man, I don't have all day. On a separate occasion, the wings were cold at the center. I've gotten very salty popcorn on two separate occasions. Personally, I keep coming here because I live down the street and because I have the regal pass (which is a great deal). At the end of the day, I come here because I enjoy the movie-going experience. So if all you care about is the movie itself, this theater works. If you want a thoroughly enjoyable experience, I recommend the north Hollywood location.

Yelp
Saw Kung Fu Panda. Theatre was clean, staff were helpful. There was no one working the Dipping Dots station, and the team go so one over there right away. I don't like commercials before the movies. Previews of new movies are fine, but the volume is cranked up too loud on the commercials. Sound was fine during the actual movie. It was fun, but not our favorite of the franchise. Po still got it.
google avatar

Brittne R.

Yelp
I've been going to this theater for years, and I have the same complaints as others I've seen here- ghost town vibes, dirty, slow service, long previews, etc. But the screens and sound are good, and we aren't big on concessions anyways, so we continue to pay for our unlimited pass and come about once a week. Last night, after a long workweek, we decided to see Beetlejuice. I'm a restaurant manager and after a 10 hour day, I wanted to grab a beer before we went in. When we approached the bar, there were 2 bartenders (a guy and a girl) and a few people waiting. We had a little time, so we were in no real rush. The guy was making a mixed drink for someone and I overheard him complaining about how gross the themed cocktails were- something about "overly sweet corporate swill"- and thought that this guy probably shouldn't be saying things like that in front of guests, but oh well. A few more minutes went by and people were starting to line up behind us. The male bartender went over to start very slowly making another mixed drink for someone. While he was working, I heard him complaining to another guest that customers are always trying to hurry him because their movie is about to start, saying "yeah buddy, everyone's movie is about to start." This was halfway down the bar and I could hear him. Not super customer service friendly. After 12 minutes and two drinks, he finally turns around completely frazzled and has no idea who is next. I said "I just want a modelo" and he put his hands up super defensive and was like "ok ok, a modelo" as if I was being nasty. At this point, my goodwill was out the window and I just wanted to get away. He brings it over, I pay ($13 for a tall boy that costs $5 at the corner store) and as I'm signing, I ask for a cup. I hate drinking out of cans. He says he can't do that due to Regal policy and slaps some placard down in front of me. I simply said "great," as he continued getting all worked up about Regal being a family theater and him being fined $3000 if he gave me a cup. It was absurd, I wasn't pushing him, I was literally signing the credit card slip silently. To break the tension, my boyfriend joked "what if I paid you the $3000 for the cup?" The bartender got so angry, started talking about losing their liquor license and talking loudly over my boyfriend who was feebly attempting to tell him he was obviously joking. At this point, I quietly said to my boyfriend "let's just go" and we walked away. As we did, I heard the bartender throw my receipt holder on the counter behind him. Apparently, we had been such awful customers, he had to show his disgust with us. From what I saw, I'm sure he complained to the other guests about us when we left. Really, Regal? This is who you have serving drinks on a Saturday night? I've been in customer service for 27 years and I would never let a guy like him keep his job. So unprofessional, SO SLOW, and quick to anger at your guests. I used to love this theater so much when it was ArcLight. Getting attitude from a bartender for asking for a cup after waiting 12+ minutes for a $13 tall boy was not something I was expecting, but here we are. I'd say do better, but from the other reviews here, it's clear that you won't.

Yelp
Went there to see Late Night With The Devil. Pros: Very clean place and modernly designed restrooms & not very crowded which I prefer. Cons: Some friendly & some not so friendly staff, no IMAX or 4D, only 2D screens & definitely need to upgrade the seats in the screening rooms.
google avatar

Jared F.

Yelp
This theater is alright. I can't judge every individual theater since I only went inside one, but overall it was pretty dirty. I know that movie theater seats will never be perfect, but I felt sticky after the movie. Customer service was great though! No problem there and there lobby is actually laid out very nice. It's pretty open and they actually have a lot to offer. (Bar, coffee shop, concessions) the screen in the theater was decent size and the audio was good as well.

Yelp
I agree that I miss the Arc Light, however, Regal has started to win me over. We did have a bad first experience seeing "The Batman". People were on phones. Kids were LITERALLY running in the aisles during the film. We tried to move to get away from all of these things but, it was just a theater full of assholes. It was just horrible. And this was the opening weekend. I was so upset there was no one there to monitor this situation. In this day and age, I refuse to be confrontational because I don't want to die. We just sucked it up and finished the film. However, I wrote to Regal and we were given credit for a future movie. I thought that was nice. I didn't even ask for it. I have tried other theaters in the area recently, and have begun to realize this place is simply the best around. It's clean. It's spacious. They have a great range of options and genres. They have a bar! It's a nice movie-going experience. I just now try to avoid going on weekends to avoid texters, talkers, etc. If they could ensure some enforcement of these rules , it would be 5 stars for me. Oh, and the view at the bar of the 405/101 interchange is somehow so beautiful. Oh! And despite what other reviews may say, they validate your parking ticket of the garage. Therefore, parking is free. Not sure why others are saying different, but I'm 100% sure. Perhaps there's a time limit I am unaware of? But I have literally never paid for parking. Thanks for the memories, Regal.

Yelp
Dropping what would have been a 4 or 5 star review to just 1. The Pros: Still has the Arclight vibe with a lounge and full bar. Parking is validated and you can park right under the theater and take the elevator up so that you're steps away from the theater entrance. Theater is clean. Friendly staff at the bar. The Con: Went for a 7:20 movie. At 7:20 we sat through 10 minutes of Ads...not Trailers...Ads. Ads were followed by 26 minutes of Trailers AND Regal Ads. Out 7:20 movie started at 7:56. I'm used to sitting through 15 minutes of trailers but 36 MINUTES OF TRAILERS AND REGAL ADS IS A BIT MUCH. Now I can see why this theater was a ghost town on a Friday night.

Yelp
This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at the movies. The workers seemed dead inside (cannot blame them, I would be too working here), there were multiple things that every movie theater I've ever been to have but not here (slushies and multiple "standard" candies: milk duds!), and the food we did get was horrible. We got "boneless wings" and asked what flavors they had and the employee answered "original", my friend confirmed "buffalo?" to which we got a nod. It was not, they were just breaded chicken nuggets. Of which, were almost all rib meat and only the vaguest sense of warm. And despite being fairly busy, the popcorn was both stale and room temperature. In addition, there's no area to add butter or salt so ask for it when you get it since they don't let you know ahead of time. Moving past the food...our theater needed some serious work. Not even talking about upgrades. Seats are uncomfortable, lumpy, and stiff. There were a minimum of 2 broken speakers in our theater and whenever certain sound levels hit (which was frequent), we'd hear loud crackling, buzzing, or the other awful noises that come out of broken speakers. Save your money and go to a different theater until this one gets its act together!
google avatar

Elke M.

Yelp
So disappointing!!! We used to come here back when it was Arclight and before most theatres installed recliners. And that's the main thing, Regal took over but didn't do any upgrades. Still regular seating, no recliners like AMC. No Apple Pay, like why???? Tickets are to expensive for just being a regular theatre with regular seats. Concession stand overpriced. Only reason we came here and not AMC because the movie we wanted to see didn't pay at AMC. Won't return!
google avatar

Ron W.

Yelp
Came here for a matinee showing today. The price was right , $ 12.50, theater was clean, and the lines for concessions short. Only 1 complaint : a 3:20 movie should NOT start at 3:50 ! 30 minutes of ads and previews - unacceptable!!
google avatar

Taylor A.

Yelp
I love Regal Sherman Oaks! Jed is the best bartender at the Regal bar and consistently makes me delicious drinks. If he is working, I always ask for him to make my drinks. He's the best!! I love the bigger screens here and always look to try and book tickets in theaters 1 & 2.

Tia H.

Yelp
This regal location sucks. The bathrooms are always disgusting , they never have hot dogs or popcorn ready and essentially every time no mater what the bar is closed. We're seeing a movie at 7 pm and the bar is closed..yet the bartender is standing there. Terrible management and staff. I will be revoking my Regal pass because of this location
google avatar

Quintin E.

Yelp
Regal Sherman Oaks doesn't have a Nicole Kidman opening, but it is stacked with lot of cameos just before the movie starts. Mega parking structure aside and that journey up to the top level this Regal has been nothing but kind to this fellow. My local theater in Sherman Oaks for the last year or two with comfy seating, easy concessions and kind as well as personable staff. I popped in recently to see The Whale with some friends and really enjoyed myself. We validated parking on the way into the theater (don't forget to do this before you leave). The screens aren't as large in the more indie style theaters like #14 where we were, but the rest of the experience is nothing but quality. It's a pretty nice theater, all things considered... minimal renovations or updates from it's previous Arclight days. The seats don't full recline, but do have a slight one with some cushioning... The Arclight seats didn't recline at all, but I guess some people loved that stiff back feeling lol If you don't know about Regal scaling down... This will be one of the ones they say goodbye to in the very near future. I wish Regal could keep this location. I think they are/were doing their best overall... The theaters are very clean and a fresh crew comes in immediately after each movie is done. The hallways, restrooms and the full layout are all spotless. They also offer a great membership with unlimited access - a better deal than most competitors plus discounts on refreshments every time.

Yelp
Well the theatre definitely need an upgrade inside, maybe recliner chairs? My back was hurting from watching the movie "the exorcist the believer" and let me tell you it was boring so for me to be sitting through a boring movie...well luckily we had dipping dots to wake us up and our popcorn with snacks. We had a drink at the bar, and after asking the bartender for water and not receiving it, well we walked away with our drinks. So the reviews are accurate for the bar inside the theatre. Lol Overpriced of course, but I mean we live in California, and everything is going up No I don't really recommend the theatre due to it being outdated, but overall it was cool, bathrooms are big and plenty of stalls. Best part- parking ticket was validated who I didn't pay for that saved some money hehe
google avatar

Josh L.

Yelp
Not sure if you can even order ahead of time but I suggest you do. They had multiple stations open yet staff was moving pretty slow despite it not being that busy. Took 10 min to hit the register when only when one person was in front of us. Cash register just left right when I got there without a word and we waited 5 min and he just never came back. We gave up and just left after that lol

Yelp
I do not understand why so many bad reviews of this Regal location. Me and 2 of my good friends met for lunch at the Sherman Oaks Galleria here in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. We stopped here after lunch around 1pm to catch a movie on Monday. Nobody was hardly in the theater. Prices are cheaper at this time for tickets. So we didn't even have to stand in a freaken line either. So we went to see the movie Civil War. The seats inside are clean and comfortable. I almost feel asleep in the theater because of how comfortable the seating was lol. Nice young lady was friendly that greeted us at the door, and signed in our tickets. Place has clean and well kept bathrooms. Hey, we had a good time. No complaining here. Hope I have a chance to visit again, Since I live so far away now in Fountain Valley Orange County.

Yelp
Jed is the coolest bartender ever and made our experience so epic before the movie! I would go back to this bar for Jed

Yelp
Squandering an amazing renovation from its ArcLight days through piss-poor management. The only theater in the area that is consistently a ghost town, even on a Friday night -- *consistently.* To say nothing of the horrible service, the presentation is awful: the house lights stay on with literally 45 minutes of ads -- not even professionally made national spots but cringey, amateur spots I'm guessing Regal produces in-house -- and the film projection doesn't even fill up the screen half the time. I had gotten Regal Unlimited because the place was close and had reliable parking. I'm canceling my subscription even though requires writing an email and sending a form -- no joke. Regal does wrong by its guests and I hope this location's lack of business means it will soon vacate the Galleria so that perhaps another theater business can move in and liven up the place.

Yelp
as soon as I walked in and it was pretty empty they didn't have many options for snacks and the bar had very small selection of drinks.

Yelp
You want to know why people don't go to movie theaters as much as they used to? Because the theatre doesn't care. I know this isn't Arclight anymore, but the lobby/bar sitting area - Could someone at least wipe down the tables and walls? There was gum on the wall of our booth, and the table itself looked like it hadn't been wiped properly in weeks. I wiped it down myself with a Wet Wipe and it was disgusting. I came here to see Oppenheimer. The guy next to me pulled out his phone every 5 to 10 minutes...for the entire 3 hours. A woman two rows in front of me started scrolling Facebook for the last hour of the film. And when I went to the bathroom when the film was over, several stalls had no toilet paper, there was a lot of wetness in some of the stalls on the floor, and most of the paper towel dispensers were empty. How hard is it for someone to go in and check the status of the bathrooms? You know the theatres are busy with Barbie and Oppenheimer. No one thought it might be a good idea to check the bathrooms? Why would I bother coming back here...when I have to deal with all this? And PAY to deal with all of this. Please...try harder.

Yelp
Went to see Deadpool&Wolverine. The snacks and popcorn sizes are larger than AMC but prices are the same. Theater is comfy but the sound is too low for my taste.

Yelp
The Regal Sherman Oaks Theater at the Galleria is a nice movie theater. Formerly The Arcligjt, located at the top floor, The Regal is larger than average. The front lobby includes ticket stand, automated kiosk, a bar and concession counter. Theater options include standard 2D, 3D, 4D and IMAX. Drinks from the bar are allowed inside during the movie. The seats are comfortable and the aisles are roomy but the main drawback is no reclining seats. The prices for snacks are reasonable, about $12-15 for popcorn and beverage. More food items would be good. There is validation in the self parking lot up to 4 hours. The restrooms were clean. Good place to watch a movie

Yelp
The customer service is terrible. During peak opening weekends of movies and peak times, they have ONE attendant out of 14 at the Concessions stand. The wait to buy popcorn was well over 45 minutes and many people missed the beginning of the movie. Stay away!

Yelp
Ritz, the bartender of the night, cut me off without drinking anything there. I showed 0 signs of being drunk. I think she must've assumed I am someone I am not. I am a regular person with very chill intentions to enjoy my movie. I even mentioned I only had one or two drinks prior to being there. Do not come here if you plan to enjoy a drink before your movie. Ritz - please learn to tell who actually is drunk or not. 1 star is generous.

Yelp
The previews are roughly 20+minutes as stated in other reviews, which I can totally do without but our tickets were $5 each online + a small fee for a Sunday 12p showing of Licorice Pizza. Valley girl wanted to see this movie before the Oscars. Ummm wtf??? I wasn't alive in the 70s but that's probably what a movie ticket cost back then. Mind blown, didn't we used to pay like $50 for a movie when this was an ArcLight? Zero complaints, I love myself a good deal and they validate parking. It was a ghost town on our visit, which made it that much more enjoyable. If you're back into going to the theatre for movies, this is a good bargain and experience. Unfortunately they did not update the seats while being closed for how ever many years, so they aren't the new snazzy heated recliners that some other theaters have but for $5 a pop you may be able to survive not reclining. I made it through 2.5 hours and can report I feel totally fine. All in all, I'll definitely catch some more film here.

Yelp
Disgusting filthy place. Whole place needs a makeover, stained seats dirty floors. This is so called Sherman Oaks seems more like Skid Row. You guys charge more than other Regals in the city $16 dollars for tickets and overpriced drinks and food, 11 dollars for a fountain drink lollll but your theater is complete trash. I would never return here!

Yelp
Absolutely terrible. Our movie was supposed to start at 7:20, 40 minutes later between all the commercial and the movie previews our movie still hadn't started I was beyond annoyed, if I could give it 0 start I would. I hated it my experience. Do not go to this theater.

Yelp
Hello Yelpies! I've been watching movies like crazy here a lot recently because I became a member of "Regal unlimited access" & I love it. The membership is $30 dollars per month plus one month free and you get to watch unlimited movies & 10% off concession. It's located at the Sherman Oaks Galleria and honestly I used to not be a fan of this area because (funny story) I got banned from the Cheesecake Factory (not my fault, promise) but you can read the whole story in a review below. Lol. Anyways...I really enjoy watching movies here, the staff is friendly and I love their Nachos with extra cheese. The restrooms are always super clean. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars it's because they don't have reclinable seats...but other than that I really enjoy this location. PS: They validate parking.

Yelp
I just can't understand the situation at the concession counter. I've gone to this particular location several times now expecting that the last time I went it was a bad day. I now know. There is no hope for the best. There will always be very few cashiers open, regardless of the time of day or the amount of customers in the lobby. there were 10 today. But last time there were 50. They do not recognize the difference. it's because they can't count. no really. On more than one occasion they had trouble with what my change is. Even though the register tells them. one cashier in particular takes such a long time with both cashiering and retrieving your items I have started to think I'm being punked. it's truly unreasonable for a movie theater, which charges far more than Cinemark, and doesn't even offer any better accommodations, to operate on such a low level. I can see SEVERAL employees back behind the counter slowly moving around and hardly looking alive. I am always late to my movie in spite of getting there BEFORE previews start. it's absurd. don't go here. It's not only not worth your money but you will have to also deal with eardrum damage from the sound system built for Rage Against the Machine concerts.

Yelp
This movie theatre is placed in a great spot. It's on the third floor of the huge Sherman oaks galleria. The theatre validates for 2 hours - free parking. Then charges $1 every 30 min. It is a smaller theatre once you get inside but they have a lot and there is a bar/restaurant where you can order food. The food is good and the prices are actually better then most theatres.

Yelp
I had a horrible experience last night at Sherman oaks regal. My friends and I went to see beetlejuice last night (Spent $61 for tickets) and before we went into the movie we stopped at the bar. There was a group of 4 people to my left, then a small group to my right and myself with my 2 friends with 2 bartenders working. We were standing at the bar for at least 6 minutes without even being acknowledged when we made a joke about wanting a margarita. Jed got upset and started yelling at us about how we can't see that he's helping other people and how we are being rude. I explained that it was a joke and I told him that he hadn't even acknowledged us at all after we had been standing there for a while. He said we didn't understand that there was a line(which there wasn't) and that we were being Karen's; simply because I expressed my disappointment in not even being acknowledged and served as we were now late for our movie. He then stated that he was refusing service and proceeded to continue to be disrespectful and rude. This is in no way how someone in the customer service industry should act, it's really disgusting honestly. We were paying customers who were going to spend even more money on drinks and on food and the fact that this was my first(and last) time here makes it even worse. On top of that one of the other workers who we were speaking with stated that she herself does not like Jed and that she has heard from other people as well that he is rude and disrespectful. We asked to speak with the manager which was Jason or Justin who was on duty. This young kid comes out and has no communication skills whatsoever. We explain the situation and then he just walks away to the bar. When he comes back(about 10mins later) he immediately sticks his head in his phone and starts texting while we're standing there waiting to see what is going to happen. I mention that we would like to know what's going on because it was rude and uncalled for what jed did and he just said yeah he's not serving you. No explanation, no I'm sorry really no repercussions for his actions at all. My friends and I will never visit a regal theater due to the lack of customer service skills, communication skills and unprofessional staff and a manager who has no idea how to speak with people and diffuse situations. You guys should really rethink who you have working for you.

Yelp
Theaters are comfortable, service people are friendly and helpful I didn't care for the long walk from the theater to the parking lot

Yelp
The place and theater is well designed and modern. The bartender Jed makes excellent drinks, he was serving 10 people at a time, the line was long, he was the only bartender, bravo. Good selection of beer. they have theme cocktails for different movies. A lot of food selection and candy, love the ranch pizza. The seats are comfy, regular movie theater chairs, not reclining. Been going to this theater for 8 years even before when it was still Arclight.

Yelp
If you haven't been to the movies lately you might be surprised at the options available today! The Regal Sherman Oaks is alive and kicking! This spacious facility located on the 3rd floor of the Sherman Oaks Galleria is fresh and easy to access via Car. Bus. Uber or walk up. The Staff here are outgoing and pleasant to be around. The multiple theaters (16) show current releases as well as classics! This theater is opened by Regal and for less than $25/month you can enjoy AYCV (all you can view) movies. Yes unlimited' Parking is underground and free with easy validation! I attend several movies a week! I just got to see the original American Graffiti and Jurassic Park! One last thing, they even discount snacks and popcorn on certain days! So relax, get back to the movie theater. It's still a good value at Regal Sherman Oaks!
