Such a great find on a random late night. I'm from outta town and though Rochester has some big staple Italian bakeries, I personally think Regina's were the best Italian cookies I've had in awhile. The chewy cookies were full of almond flavor and I loved how moist the rainbow cookies cookies were. The Rainbow cookies still stayed moist for days in a tight Tupperware and I only wish I thought to buy more and bring it back to share it with family here. It's a perfect treat to go with your coffee. Please support family businesses, like this. They are very special.

10000/10. Everyone was so kind and helpful to help me with a custom cake for my 30th birthday. The cake was massive (photos do not do the 3 layers justice) so beautiful, so fresh, and they helped me figure out what would be best for the event and climate. Also delivered to me in the park with no hesitation. So festive!! Never going anywhere else.

Regina Bakery in Brooklyn is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with charm and warmth. The atmosphere is quaint and inviting, making it the perfect spot to indulge in some delightful treats. I had the pleasure of trying their raspberry and chocolate cigars, and let me tell you, they were divine! Both were flakey and moist, bursting with flavor in every bite. The combination of raspberry and chocolate was simply heavenly, and I couldn’t get enough. In addition to the cigars, I also indulged in their chocolate-dipped pretzels. 🥨 Each pretzel was expertly coated in rich chocolate, striking the perfect balance between salty and sweet. It was the ideal treat to satisfy my cravings. Overall, I can’t recommend Regina Bakery enough. With its cute ambiance and delectable offerings, it’s a must-visit spot in Brooklyn. Five stars all the way!

We have been coming here for years and this is the best Italian bakery! Our favorite things from here are Black and White cookie (we tried from many different places and this is the best of the best)! Elephant Ear(which I love the crunchiness), Pignoli cookies, 7 Layer Cookies (Rainbow Cookies), Cannolis & Lemon cookies. They always have seasonal things between desserts and decorated cookies. Also, they made cakes. Also, the staff are always friendly! Please go and try everything! :)

Love love the apple crumb pound cake and all the cookies. Honestly, everything is amazing. The bakers are so friendly and happily recommend their favs. Looking forward to ordering a pie for fall and will def be trying all the flavors!

Classic little Italian cookies are good but man. That sesame bread is EXCELLENT. I tried their non pastry stuff for the first time and I devoured an entire loaf in one sitting. Don’t sleep on the bread!

Gotta get the amaretto cookie, chewy marzipan rly good (maybe get 10 to be safe). And the lobster tail plus a black and white cookie! No nonsense old school bakery perfect for a stop on the way to Greenwood. Thanks!

Rainbow cookies were dry and stale. It looked like the pieces on the display tray were from numerous random sheets. Sfogliatelle (lobster tails) were filled with generic flavorless whipped cream, not traditional custard. The pastry was crispy but the cream made it unappetizing and difficult to want to finish. Chocolate almond cookies were hard as a rock, had no flavor and were way too sweet. The interior of the store is dingy and all the display cases have condensation which at first sight makes you question the cleanliness.

Our FAVORITE bakery of all time! The people are always kind and the pastries are sooooo delicious! I rave specifically about the cannolis here! Love this place! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Black and White cookies. It is sad they had to leave that prime location in the heart of Park Slope many years ago and move, but I am sure rents increasing were part of the reason. It is still great that this place still exists, despite being in a less desirable location. Unfortunately, to keep my weight down, I have to avoid places like this and the extra calories, but super high-quality pastries and friendly service.

Regina has been a hidden gem in this neighborhood for years. Their pastries, cookies and cake have stayed consistently good over the years. My mother used to bring home a box of the assorted cookies and we use to eat them before my dad came home (not wanting to share). And as I sit here missing her, I purchased the same box of assorted cookies and for a moment we are sitting together laughing and eating cookies.

Regina is one of the few legit Brooklyn bakeries left standing in the years of gentrification and changing tastes. If you want to buy some Italian cookies by the pound, this is your spot for sure. Personally I think Regina does it best in two categories: cookies and bread. I love their frosted sugar character cookies, which come in all shapes and forms-from holiday themed to animals to cartoon characters to whatever the bakers felt like doing that day. Not only are they super cute, they taste really awesome-the right amount of frosting and the perfect amount of snap and chew for a sugar cookie. Don't sleep on the black and white cookies, which are also perfect to form and come in green and white on St Patricks Day and pink and white on Valentine's Day. Their breads are also pretty stellar. I love their prosciutto bread in particular, which is made all the better when warm and dipped into olive oil at home. Really the only stuff I'm kinda meh on is their pastries, which aren't bad by any means but aren't as satisfying to me. Their tiramisu could use a rethinking. A great little throwback bakery, the likes of which I'm thrilled has lasted so long.

Best cakes ever! Bought custom cakes for my folk's anniversary & birthdays & they loved them. Always prompt with great service, plus it's a family business, which you gotta love!

Mhmmm. The rainbow cookies are the bomb.

I would definitely say the cookies good but nothings spectacular at this bakery. The Italian pastries are not good at all, I'm putting that nicely. Since this is a gentrified area the newcomers do not know what a real fresh cannoli is supposed to taste like.The cakes are hit n miss but I haven't had one in a few years so I can't say if they improved. Anyone Italian or who grew up on authentic Italian pastries would not be buying them here

Literally my favorite bakery! The M&M cookies are my favorite! I love this place & the wonderful family that owns it! Its a hidden gem! Support family owned businesses!

Stopped by to get a cheese cake in a pinch. They had a great selection. Perfect, old school New York Cheesecake, was a big hit. But, as an afterthought, grabbed a few cake pops for the kids. These were show stoppers. Not sure what the kids likes more, the decoration, or the taste, but they were definitely a fun unique experience. 2 of the kids took there time, eating on cake pop each over 30 minutes, savoring every bite!

The owners were especially helpful when we were in a bind. We needed a cake for the next day and was able to pick up the next day after 12 noon. The cake was delicious and fresh! Our son wanted a chocolate strawberry shortcake while they were able to accommodate in short notice. The chocolate whip cream on the cake was extra smooth and fresh and the strawberry jam in the cake was just as yummy! I highly recommend the bakery The photo of the cake includes our ninja turtles decorations but I saw they do make custom cakes.

What you need to know: - This is my favorite place to get cannolis! They are all made to order, not sitting around all day getting soft. They fill the cannolis when you order them so it's super fresh and delicious! - This small old school Italian bakery has everything that will satisfy your sweet tooth - cookies, whole cakes, slices of cake and pastries! - The friendliest folks ever! - Accepts credit cards for purchases over $10. What I ordered: - Mini chocolate and plain cannolis, price $2 - I love their cannolis so much! Their filling is rich with strong ricotta cheese, cinnamon and vanilla! The cannoli shell is thick enough for a crunch, yet thin enough so it's flaky. - Eclair $3 - This is enormous; it was easily 10 large bites of deliciousness! The cream is the same as their divine cream puffs!

This local business is a gem! Delicious, classic treats and lovely staff. We came in the other day when I was out with my kid, who's too young to get vaccinated. She was crying because she had wanted a donut from Dunkin, but the cashier there wouldn't put a mask on when I asked her so we made a swift exit. The kind young woman behind the counter at Regina sold us some (far superior) baked goods, and threw in a bag of holiday cookies to cheer up my sad kid! Highly recommended.

I went to get a small birthday cake (for only 3 people) and specifically asked if the cakes were fresh from the same day. The woman behind the counter assured me they were. I chose a small Oreo cake (chocolate cake with butter cream filling). The cake was very cute BUT DEFINITELY NOT FRESH - the cake was hard and stale! We each took one bite and threw the cake away! I will never step foot in the store again! Very disappointing!

Regina Bakery has been a South Slope/Windsor Terrace staple for as long as I can remember living in Brooklyn. Which at this point has been almost a decade. When I first moved here I remember passing it time after time walking to the park from my old apartment on 17th Street. Most recently I actually stepped inside a few months ago with a friend. I should have done this a long time ago but I'm not usually seeking out buying huge cakes. Which I might add they are beautifully decorated and custom made for any occasion and much more reasonably priced than some bougie bakeries nearby. We mostly came in for iced coffees and gawked at their windows of Italian cookies, cannoli, eclairs and smelled in their fresh loaves of bread. My friend caved and bought a sack of cookies of a huge variety for an incredibly cheap price. Jelly filled, chocolate covered, sprinkles, rainbow cookies. They even sell huge slabs of pizza dough for less than $2! So happy this small bakery is still around all these years.

Truly a dangerous store - the tantalizing displays of cookies, pastries, and other confections is irresistible. Thankfully, on my first visit, I had the willpower to walk out only with a bag of rainbow cookies/7 layer cookies. They didn't last long enough to get a pic, but they are so beautiful, with the characteristic neon colors and a shiny chocolate finish. They tasted unbelievable, with super moist cake layers, fruity jam that didn't soak into the cake, and yummy dark chocolate. Now the test is how long I can hold out before buying more.... Maybe a few hours?? Regina is best for getting cookies by the pound or ordering cakes for an event. It is not an eat in bakery, there is no seating and I don't think they serve coffee or anything. They also take credit card, but there is a $10 limit. The cookies cost more than $10/lb, so you'll likely hit this limit.

I love this place because the treats are really cute and they taste good as well anybody seeing this should go if you have kids you most definitely go they have really nice stuff and nice staff -my dad Jackie said he going there agin to do somthing but hope he can fix it.

regina is right by me and it's truly delicious. the people there are wonderful and sweet. the baked goods are authentic and fresh.

A good family owned bakery in Brooklyn who has been around forever. They have all the great neighborhood bakery stables, cookies (chocolate chip, black and whites, rainbow, russian twits, amaretto, etc), cannolis, ]fruit tarts, fresh bread. And lovely cakes. So please go and support.

The carrot cake is DIVINE. i love the rainbow cookies as well. To be honest sometimes bakery cakes leave me wanting more, especially carrot cake, but this was soooo good. Just the right amount of spice and perfect frosting. So affordable too!

We were in the mood for cheesecakes and saw this bakery on our way so wanted to give a try. They do not have a sitting area, only to go. Lots of cookie options, cute designs and colors. They have mini and regular slice cheesecakes. We picked the mini ones, one strawberry and one chocolate. $3.50 each. 2 ladies working there were kind and had smiling faces. In the fridge there are cakes of different sizes. Keep in mind for birthdays or special occasions. The taste of the cakes were okay. We did not like the toppings that much and there is no cracker or cake part at the bottom.

Wow! What a gem! I'm so glad I found this place - have only been once, but it's the kind of rare find you look for in today's world over saturated with chain stores. Sicilian to boot (you know it'll be good) they have a ton of good stuff on display. Hard to walk out with only a mini cheesecake. Can't wait to go back.

Sweet smell of heaven. Family run. Nicest girls gridding out the only coffee I need in a world of half caf decaf confusion. Love the amaretti cookies. Love the kindness. Wish they would let me update their interior. I'd do it for the love!! Also, Russian twists, Raspberry layered chewier and all the hand rolled pastries. Thank you!!

The cannolis here are absolutely amazing. They're filled right when you order so you know you're getting the freshest cannolis possible. They also have a wide selection of different cakes as well as Italian pastries. It's a small, hole in the wall, mom and pop shop - but let's be real, those are always the best shops especially for food! I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area even if it's just for a small cannoli or pastry - it's worth it! The cannoli I had was in the most perfectly crisp shell that crumbled beautifully when you bit in. The filling had that wonderful sweetness and tart quality you expect from cannoli filling and the chocolate chips gave a nice touch of sweetness. I'm seriously drooling as I'm writing this review and can't wait to come back and have another cannoli soon!

Glad to know that a cute bakery is a few blocks walk from my spot. They have an amazing array of cookies. My wife and I tried their chocolate chip nutella cookie which was yummy and so was there normal chocolate chip cookie. My wife didn't enjoy the normal cheesecake as much, she said it tasted just like pure cream cheese. We did however, enjoy the bread pudding. Very moist and delicious. Definitely will be back to try their white and black cookies and maybe something else! Glad this place exists :)

I wish I would stayed away because my waist will never recovery from this discovery ....but alas we are here now. Regina is a traditional Italian style dessert bakery. They always seem to have a large selection of cookies, pastries and pies. They have bread too I think but I don't come for the bread....I come for the goods. I hopped in on my birthday to treat myself to a Napoleon which aren't usually found at smaller bakeries. It really hit the spot. Very fresh and flaky. I also have developed an addiction to the rainbow cookies. My usual lack of a sweet tooth has turned into a full blown sugar addiction. In other news are there any personal trainers that have some good rates going on right now?

Cute neighborhood bakery. A no-frills, traditional style place that won't overcharge you for cookies or cakes. I purchased a Halloween-themed cake here on a whim (to bring to a party) and it was only $16--it had quite a few decorations (read: ghost marshmallows and tombstone cookies) and it was a hit! Tasted like Candy Corn, Yum! Also, you can select a few cookies and pay for it per-pound, which I think is also great if you're looking to grab a few on the way home. I'll be returning soon!

We just had a beautiful, delicious birthday cake! Vanilla cake, raspberry filling with some chocolate buttercream, and dark chocolate frosting! 10 stars!

I just purchased some St. Joseph's pastries today and they were some of the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be coming back.

Got a cake for my sisters baby shower, cupcakes for my sons birthday and those were so great my husband came back to buy my birthday cake a month later!! Not to mention the delicious cannolis! yummm

A small pastry shop easy to miss. The pastries look good but the shop looks old school. The mini cannolis a dollar 75 the creamy filling was good but the shell was a little off tasting the Napoleon French cream was $3.25 a little expensive but very good. WIGB? Yes

Spent $80.at Regina Bakery on Christmas Eve, Including a pound of pinoli cookies at $35. I had wrapped each item type separately. Served them for desert Christmas Day. The pinoli were so stale they were hard. I was disappointed, embarrased and VERY ANGRY!!!

I love this bakery. I have been coming here since I was a kid loving on Prospect Avenue, and it has always put a smile on my face. Don't be turned away by the building outside - they are awesome! Their baked goods are amazing, and fresh. There is something for everyone at Regina's.

O.M.G. Since Regina re-opened under new management, their treats have gone from decent to HOLY CRAP. What used to be a convenient neighborhood shop is now (or, should be...or will be...) a destination bakery. Way bigger selection, way better taste.

Beyond bad. I can't believe they would sell cookies that are just this old. This is the worst black and white cookie I've ever had. The cookie itself just crumbles. We bought about 6 different kinds of cookies and they were all old. Will never, ever, go back, and I would recommend none of you do either.

Sorry, I know this is a neighborhood staple but I have nothing good to say about them. The cookies were stale and tasteless. The bread (italian loaf) was also on the verge of being stale. I can't even say the people behind the counter were nice. They finished up a personal conversation before taking our order. For a place with such low quality food I would at least expect top notch service, I wont be going back.

It is a nice mom and pop shop. The girls who run the place are really great. I personally am a big fan of the butter cookies. My husband goes crazy over the m&m/chocolate pretzels. The cheesecake is not the greatest I ever had, but it is good and is at a very fair price. Buy bread! The bread loaves are delicious.

We ordered a cake for our wedding rehearsal dinner party. It was a last minute decision - literally we ordered it two days before. We requested special decorations because we are both women. The cake was incredible! People love it! We had pineapple and strawberry Layers between white cake and super soft frosting. It was delivered exactly on time in perfect condition and the cake topping was the talk of the party! I keep trying to come up with reasons to need another cake!

Our wedding cake was from Regina Bakery and we could not have wished for a more well-crafted, beautiful and delicious centerpiece! Back in March, for my birthday, I had gotten a red velvet cake from here. Remembering how tasty the cake was, I didn't hesitate to order a sheet cake that could easily feed 80 people.for the upcoming special day. The owner carefully took my order and even suggested that we add some corner fluffs with strawberries to make it extra special for the memorable day. Throughout the reception, guests kept coming up to us, raving about how delicious the cake was. People even asked for some slices to take back home. Thank you, Regina Bakery!

Best cannolis in Brooklyn!! Ask for the small chocolate ones, they are amazing. Other wonderful things I have tried and loved: black and white cookies, 7 layer cookie/bar, and pignoli cookie.

Found this little spot because it's near my daughters school. Loved the cookies and cupcakes. Reminded me of a spot I used to visit growing up. But, then I ordered my daughters birthday cake from here. It was so sad looking. The handwriting was horrendous. I asked for a few different designs (pretty basic) and each one I was old the baker couldn't do. The frosting was good, but the cake tasted like cornbread. Luckily my 12 year old has a good sense of humor.

5 stars for easiest the best rainbow cookies around. Period. (Solid other Italian bakery treats as well including great tiramisu, but it's the rainbow cookies that truly stand out )

Simply amazing! The seven layer cookies are the best I have ever had! The canolis, apple pie, coconut pie, the bread, the rolls, EVERYTHING is always amazing! It's very hard to find sugar free cookies that taste good, but Regina's sugar free cookies are perfect! Last thanksgiving I ordered their coconut pie, I was blown away! My guests fell in love with the pie. If you are in park slope make sure to stop by. Even if you're not, please make an effort to visit. The girls are super sweet as well!
