"Chef Hector Gonzalez-Mora has been picking up a following ever since he showed up at the short-lived Comida in Plaza-Midwood, followed by his breakfast taco pop-up Chilito. Now he’s taken up residence in the new South End location of brewery Resident Culture. His menu covers tortillas, tacos, and “dilla” tacos (a sort of quesadilla hybrid). Breakfast tacos are back, from 7 a.m to 11 a.m. daily, when the menu shifts over to tacos, etc., until 10:30 p.m. most nights (it closes at 4 p.m. on Mondays)." - Katie Toussaint, Kathleen Purvis

I'm glad I saw other reviewers that were confused by the hostess stand. I also awkwardly waited there for a bit before someone came in and told me I could sit anywhere lol. Tried the Second Hand Heartbreak sour which was pretty good. It did have the tropical notes as suggested by the Painkiller inspiration. I also tried the peach hard seltzer which was fine. The breakfast bowl with jalapeno bacon was actually very good. I like that they serve breakfast til 3. Not sure I'll be back myself but it's a fine place to go.

Stopped in after brunch on 7/5. Hostesses were great and I loved that they were playing 90s hip-hop. Bartender was ok - not the most friendly one that I've ever had and didn't provide much conversation to my wife & I. Not the most welcoming brewery that I've ever been to, which was a bit disappointing. As for the beers, solid selection fo everything from sours to IPAs to porters and stouts. My wife had the Parasol Paradise, a nice sour, while I went for thr Devil Cant Help My Soul, a pastry stout.

We’ve been coming to Killer coffee for years (love it, no complaints there) and occasionally getting food from the kitchen that’s run by Resident Culture. We’ve had our dog with us every single time, and only after about 100 times of us coming here, they tell us that we can’t have our dog inside. I am usually very understanding of no-pet policies, but when they make it look like they’re pet friendly, and then suddenly decide to enforce a no-pet policy, it honestly makes me feel guilty for bringing our dog inside for years. We thought we found a spot where we can be regulars, but instead we were left with very unpleasant feelings. On top of all of that they always take at least half hour to bring your food out.

Last night, my friend and I came to your bar intending to enjoy ourselves and support a local business. Unfortunately, our experience was tainted by the unprofessional and rude behavior of one of your bartenders—Barry. Barry made a deliberate effort to ignore us and refused to serve from our side of the bar, despite being fully capable of doing so. When I tried to speak to him directly, his dismissive attitude made it clear that basic customer service is not part of his repertoire. To be honest, it's hard to tell whether his attitude stems from a general lack of competence or the apparent anterior mouth thrust that made even the simplest verbal exchange feel like a challenge for him. If communication is going to be that strained, perhaps front-facing roles aren’t the best fit. As a young adult trying to enjoy a night out, it’s incredibly frustrating to be treated like a nuisance rather than a guest. No one shows up to be talked down to—or worse, ignored—by someone who’s supposed to be in the service industry. I hope this is addressed, as this kind of behavior reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole.

Google
By far the worst experience at a bar I’ve ever had. We were discriminated against, and weren’t let us into the bar because of the way we looked is the only thing I can come up with. We did absolutely nothing wrong and returned after being in there earlier. They were letting people in the bar directly in front of us, but wouldn’t let us in. After asking the bouncers why they wouldn’t let us in they said it was because they weren’t letting anyone else in, but then they proceeded to let Multiple people in after us so I asked why and they said not to talk to them. Not to mention, one of the bouncers was smoking a joint on the job And was clearly very messed up. I have never experienced anything more demeaning in my life. Never come here.

We did not get food here. We worked a market in the basement. I liked working an event indoors with air conditioning. People had trouble finding their way downstairs. The beers were awesome. I liked the ESB. The speakeasy is very cool. Excellent place to have summer popup so both the vendors and customers can stay cool.

Visited this place after puppy yoga that they held on their bottom floor. We got two seasonal coffee drinks, sandwich and croissant. My husband’s BLT didn’t have much flavor or taste to it, so he wasn’t very happy with it. Coffees were good. My almond croissant was ok.

Google
Ordered the killer breakfast sandwich with avocado. The sandwich itself was excellent but the sweet potato chips were meh... not that crispy and some had an aftertaste like maybe old grease?... beer was very good. I had the future sight hazy ipa and I've had lightening drops in the past, had a taste of the sorte(altbeer) and it was quite good.. all 3 solid beers! They also serve wine and cocktails!

Andrea R.

Yelp
PAAARRRRRTTTTTTYYYYYY. Let's first talk beer - big fan. I liked the beers we tried here. I'm a bit picky with saisons, but I liked the Land of Lost Butterflies. We also had Sorte (Altbier) and Lost but Not Forgotten (ESB). I thought all three beers were solid, tasty, and just right. Let's talk about vibe. We came in on Saturday afternoon for a little Charlotte FC pregame action. There was a live DJ, LOTS of people, a beer pong table, and just about everything else you'd expect from a college frat party. That said, I'm little old, so this was not the place for me. We snagged some isolated bar stools, and I could not hear my boyfriend talking right next to me. This place was a straight up party. Maybe it was the day, time, and circumstances, but I wouldn't be in a hurry to come back to this specific location. The food menu was enticing, but we weren't starving, so we opted for the hot buffalo chicken wings. I can't believe we live in a world where chicken wings are going for $17 - it seems like robbery. This is just an observation, and it is not unique to Resident Culture. That said, the $17 wings were just not great quality. They were mostly flats, much to the chagrin of my boyfriend, they were not super meaty, and the bones were brittle, breaking in my mouth. I loved the sauce, but that was about it. All in all, I liked Resident Culture's beer, but I think it's probably best enjoyed on my back patio.

Julie P.

Yelp
It was good, I'm talking the food, but I don't know if I'd come back just for the food - but they have kids eat free during the week - and well, when your kids need to eat, and there's beer...that's a win. It was pretty dead on a Tuesday when we came (which again worked great because of the tiny humans). The beer is always solid at resident culture, so you can't go wrong. They were out of a few beers on their menu, but of course we found something - did I mention they brew solid beer? Kids food - on point. The mac and cheese was demolished. Chicken fingers didn't stand a chance (although my daughter ate more of my pulled chicken) and both of my kids love baked beans, so yay! My husband got wings and one of the egg rolls - I can't remember which, but it was delish. My pulled chicken was fine, but needed the sauces. The wings were tiny and not really seasoned, but those were the only "shortcomings". Can't say how it is on the weekends, but we will come back, especially with kids eating free - if you're a parent, you know that's a game changer!

Yelp
I woke up with a craving for BBQ brisket, always on the lookout for local spots I've yet to try. A few months back, Resident Culture swapped their taco trailer for American BBQ, led by Brazilian pitmaster Edmar Simoes, making it my destination of choice today. I arrived at around 12:30 pm on a Sunday, the crowd still sparse, likely indulging in brunch before their South End drinking escapades. Settling at the spacious bar, bartender Angel offered sincere advice on the menu, recommending garlic butter chicken wings or the smoked chicken egg roll. Yet, my heart was set on brisket, my go-to gauge for BBQ joints, leading me to order the smoked brisket sandwich ($14) with a couple of pickle slices, onion and a choice of white or red slaw. The sandwich was promptly served, the sliced smoked brisket meat was lukewarm, nestled in a brioche bun accompanied by sliced onions and pickles. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations--lacking in fat, the meat was dry, and without any BBQ sauce provided. Angel informed me that the choice fattier cuts weren't available. Among the three BBQ sauce options--eastern Carolina vinegar, house BBQ, or Carolina mustard--I found the house BBQ sauce essential to moisten the dry brisket. While the smoked brisket had a pleasant taste, the brioche bun was unremarkable, and the side of white slaw, although satisfactory, was modestly portioned in a two-ounce soufflé cup While the meal itself was underwhelming, the interaction with Angel and his welcoming demeanor was a silver lining. If a return visit occurs, I may venture into the pulled chicken or pork, optimistic for a more fulfilling experience.

Leigh B.

Yelp
We went for drag brunch, which was great. I love the selection of food and drinks. The wings were some of the best I'd had. It did take some time to get a Coke, after two reminders. Our food was also taken from the table before we were finished. Will go again, but try to guard my food.

John H.

Yelp
Cool spot. Only checked out the tap room, but need to come back to try the food collab. This location is a little more parking friendly than Plaza (but not by much now that everything and everyone is in Southend). Luckily we found some street parking nearby and were doing our own make-shift bar crawl. Same solid offerings (beer-wise). The space itself is a converted warehouse space so it's tricked out only in a style that is Resident Culture. There's something for everyone - if you are just meeting up to catch up, watch sports, or "working" from a brewery, this is the place you want to go.

Mandee P.

Yelp
I am here to show even more LOVE. Their new full dinner service has launched, and it is a MUST TRY. The dishes are everything you have come to expect from El Toro Bruto, but more expansive. The service is top notch and the food is amazing. You can tell how much love & care went into this menu and preparation. Everything tastes great, so you can not go wrong with your order. I already had so much love for this place. This is the icing on the cake!

Andi M.

Yelp
My husband and I have visited Resident Culture twice now--once for coffee and once for coffee and breakfast--and this place is now a must-return for breakfast and coffee in Charlotte. We've tried their cortado and lattes, and both were fabulous. The lattes were strong and perfectly creamy (with whole milk). We added an extra shot (for four shots total), but I'm not sure they even needed the boost. We definitely want to try their nitro and brûlée coffees on another visit. Since I've been reading about El Toro Bruto's breakfast tacos lately, my husband and I had to try one of each--chorizo, bacon, barbacoa, and bistec. Their tacos are generously filled and so good! If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to add more cheese, since you can never have enough cheese on breakfast tacos! My favorites (in order) were: barbacoa, bacon, chorizo, and bistec. All of the meats were perfectly cooked, but IMO, the barbacoa was the absolute best. I don't like saucy meat, and the barbacoa was perfectly tender and flavorful, without needing a saucy addition. Their small dips of red and green sauce add wonderful flavor, too. We had to have an Alfajor--a chocolate cream-filled cookie--for dessert. The cookies are lighter than shortbread, and the chocolate cream is just amazing. It's not as heavy as Nutella, and I would say it's even better. What a perfect sweet complement to our savory breakfast tacos! I also wanted to mention their wonderful staff, who were so friendly and helpful. Their dining room is spacious and comfortable. Parking is a bit of a challenge, though. If you can't get a spot in the small lot in front of the building, you can park on the street in front of the building, or around the corner on Church Street, in front of the apartments. Just be mindful of the few areas with "No Parking" signs, because we regularly see parking enforcement monitoring this area. We can't wait to return!

Yelp
01.20.23 Mexi-Cali Bowl White rice, greens and Sweet Potato Matcha Served with pinto beans, queso fresco, pico de gallo, guacamole, pickled onions & roasted veggies I really enjoyed the Mexicali Bowl! It was fresh and tasty! I enjoyed being able to order from the table but both of the back bartenders were very helpful with answering questions! I always like to ask the servers/ bar tenders what they eat when I visit an establishment! The recommendations were helpful and did not disappoint. I would definitely return! #eatingaroundcharlotte #meatlessmeals #plantbasedfood #amateurfoodentusiast #tonsofflavor #variety #colorfulplate

Yelp
Likes: Love the toro bruto (sp?) restaurant inside. Very good tacos. Love the coffee shop inside. Like the vibes. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dislikes: Not a good place to try to work on a quiet Sunday. Nachos not that good. Parking is hard.

Michelle F.

Yelp
So the big thing about this bar... is the style!! The main bar area after about 9pm turns into a dance floor and the beers on tap are cold and the cocktails are mixed well. The bartenders are very friendly and there is a taco place inside so you can get food if you want. The bathrooms are very pretty with a giant mirror so you can have some fun touching up your make up before getting back out there to bust your groove thang! Not sure this would be the place to have a long philosophical discussion because you really have to raise your voice but it's definitely lively and the DJ plays some great beats.

Daniel V.

Yelp
Came for music bingo and the taco Tuesday deal that they partnered with Toro Bruto (back part of the building). Good beer selection and you can't beat two tacos and a beer for $10.

Jess R.

Yelp
The food here late night is top notch. Came here for a quick bite after a show. The tacos were finger licking good. The beer selection is really good. During another visit I got a coconut latte and it was too good!!

Gabrielle Z.

Yelp
Two words: BREAKFAST TACOS! This review is of the new coffee bar and breakfast menu: The food menu has all your breakfast wants! The ever popular tacos of El Toro Bruto's include chorizo, bacon, barbacoa, steak & eggs, and a vegan option. I love the egg and potato one!! There are also sandwiches and toasts, as well as a mix of traditional Mexican pastries and classic American baked goods are also featured on the menu, made in-house by Chef González-Mora. Coffee wise, the Brûlée Latte is a MUST!!! The crunchy sugar topping is soooo good!! They're exclusively serving up Mostra Coffee with features like espresso, drip coffee, iced coffee, cold brew, and lattes. Not to mention tea-based lattes and loose leaf tea! Mostra Coffee is San Diego-based and Filipino-owned This will be the only place on the East coast that you can get their coffee!!

Reeba M.

Yelp
This is a review for the Killer Coffee shop, the taco shop and the overall experience within resident culture. LOVED this place, even though we only happened upon it because we were waiting for a table at Ruby Sunshine. The crime brûlée latte was delicious and the staff were awesome. We went back the next day and got the same thing. We also had breakfast tacos and tried the vegan one that was surprisingly delicious as neither of us are vegan!

John H.

Yelp
We came on a Thursday night and the place was busy....but we were still able to grab a table. It's hard to find a brewery with a kitchen. Food trucks come and go....but having a predictable place to go and have a few beers and a stable menu for eating isn't common. First off....love the IPA's from RC. The table menu/ordering system is very easy to use and the service was rapid fast. We started with Guac and Chips ($8) and it was fine. My bride ordered the Chicken Picadillo Bruto ($8) and loved it. I ordered the Chicken Picadillo Taco ($4) & Barbaco Taco ($4) and favored the chicken just like my bride. Music was pretty loud in the entry bar area....but more muted in the back/dining area. We will be back!

Shionda F.

Yelp
Last night I was invited to the VIP Sneak Peek media event for an exclusive first look at the new location in south end Resident Cultures taproom and have a chance to try out cocktails and food from El Toro Bruto. Resident Culture Brewing Co. South End is in a transformed 17,000-square-foot, two-story warehouse built in the 1920s that originally served as the city's first bus maintenance facility. The impressive space will feature all-day tacos from chef Hector Gonzalez's El Toro Bruto (formerly the popular pop-up Chilito); a gourmet coffee bar exclusively serving Mostra Coffee; a 1,000-square-foot outdoor patio; a DJ booth above the full bar; custom-made furniture from Mooresville-based Forged Timber Company; unexpected art and decor from staff designer Maryssa Pickett and others; and, of course, the most popular beers, wine and cocktails from the original location, plus exclusive brews. Resident Culture opens to the public today at 5pm sharp ‼

Ashley F.

Yelp
I'm pleased as punch with this brand spanking new Resident Culture location in South End. The taco and craft beer collab we didn't know we needed. When I first tried Chilitos breakfast tacos I was sold, so when I heard they would be setting up shop in this new Resident Culture location I couldn't wait to check it out. So, Grand Opening day we were about 10th in line! I mean $1 tacos and beer?! Come on. Going to a biz on grand opening day can be risky but this experience was pretty smooth. We got our tacos easily, all the staff was nice. But a super shout out to the bartender Bianca!!! She was AMAZING, super attentive and moving so fast with all the people in there. She is a gem! We sat at the bar and she took great care of us for it to be so busy! I ordered the double lightning and it was straight out of IPA heaven, okay?! My tacos were tasty too, but I can't wait to go back and order from the traditional menu. The inside is nicely decorated and may surprise you for a craft beer spot. I'm a fan and will be back often!

Victoria B.

Yelp
My hubby and I are obsessed with RC, they have so many different drinks to choose from. They typically have beers and cocktails on draft and even offer mocktails. They also have partnered with Toro Bruto to make some of the best tacos in the city. I will say their don't offer as many food items as they used to, which is disappointing, but the food is great. The service there is also impeccable and the music is typically in good taste. The worst thing about this place is parking, but it is in SouthEnd so that is to be expected. I would suggest taking a rideshare service so you can enjoy your libations and not have to worry about parking at all. But there is street parking and a couple of paid parking lots in the vicinity.

Frank M.

Yelp
Draft cocktails were on point! Highly recommend the espresso martini and the habanero heat wave.

Justin E.

Yelp
Great vibes during the evening....turns up much like a club at night. Not many breweries do have a scene (in general) - which separates them from your typical spot. It's in a location near all the night/young life scene, so I order to fit in you need to have good atmosphere; and they hit the mark both unique & enjoyable. I think it's great they stay open on weekends late, basically a lot of people having a lot of fun. The food is okay, but I don't really look at them for that, I look at them for beer. Decent enough though if your hungry. They have great IPAs, if your a hazy NE fan than you'll love this place. During day great game day or meet up place- definitely accommodating to large parties. Keeping this short, it's great beer, atmosphere day and night, decent food, and we'll priced - good service.

Anna M.

Yelp
Most negative reviews about this place are talking about the bouncers but this is going to be all about the food because...wow! It was awful. I guess they used to have tacos and I had heard good things, however, it recently has changed to BBQ. I love BBQ so I thought I'd give it a try. NEVER AGAIN!!! My stomach is still in pain, and I only had a couple of bites. Started out with the brisket egg rolls - those weren't bad, just small. Then we ordered the bbq plate with pulled pork (DRY), Mac and cheese (overcooked, mushy, and flavorless), & the fried corn. The fried corn was recommended and I have absolutely no idea why. I took a bite and it tasted like the bottom of a dirty fryer mixed with nail polish remover. I couldn't eat anything so I ordered a pretzel and even that was awful. I hate that the food was this bad because I was excited to have some good BBQ - the pictures online are so deceiving because it looks so good. Maybe go back to tacos again? Also, extremely overpriced for the quality. Beer and service were great! If you change the food menu, this place would be 10/10.

Lydia B.

Yelp
A MUST try. I worked here during the day and I had the most amazing iced peach matcha latte. Staff at the coffee shop were so friendly. I stayed for dinner and I had the most amazing tacos. The server was so nice and knowledgeable and helpful. Nice decor and I love the ambience - lots of natural light. OH and I cannot forget to mention the amazing disco ball and pretty lights by the bathroom and the free Photo Booth.

Kate R.

Yelp
Lol I had to pee and the line to the ladies room was SO LONG. Tried to go into the men's room - kicked outta the club. Beware ladies. They are not pro women peeing.

Nisha C.

Yelp
One of my favorites!!! I visited a few weeks ago for the first time ever. My husband and I got there first around 5 pm and found a bench to sit at outside. I got a sour beer while my hubs got an IPA. We munched on some tacos and fries (which were delish) until a few more of our friends arrived. After about an hour ish, the remainder of our friends arrives (total 14 people). We were still outside this entire time. It started getting dark and chilly, and I wished they had some lights or outdoor heaters in place but I get it, it's Charlotte so you don't really need heaters at this time of the year. It would have been comfortable though with the heaters. I love love love that this place has beers AND cocktails AND food. I mean that's a killer combo for a "brewery". I left around 8 pm due to a flight I had to catch, but could very well spend my entire night there. It was such a blast and I can't wait to be back!

Sue F.

Yelp
The hubby and I just attended our son and DIL's baby shower at Resident Culture. I thought it was a little weird to have a baby shower at a brewery but I'm not 30 like the rest of the guests, so, whatever. Anyways, there was a private room at the back of the club for special events. There were about 30 guests and it was sized just right. For eats, there was a guac and salsa bar. Housemade chips with a tad bit of heat to them, a couple salsas (though they were more like pico) and a bowl of guac of a size that could rival the serving pan at Chipotle. All of it was excellent. I was absolutely hooked on the guac while Grandpap (my husband!) couldn't get enough of the corn salsa. Drinks were ordered by QR code which was easy to use and easy to run a tab. Often, it's not advisable to veer off the menu when at a brewery but I'm glad I did. I had a specialty drink that consisted of vodka, elderflower and a couple of mixers. It was delicious. The hazy IPA looked like it was a hit. Our service was phenomenal. While I don't think our group was particularly needy, our waitress was always replenishing the room, serving drinks and food and helping wherever she could. I wish I knew her name just to give her a shoutout. The only downside of the day was the thumping - it was a little hard to hear each other with so much background noise. I hate to admit that I'm just not into the club scene anymore but Resident Culture turned out to be a great place (if a little unusual) to host a baby shower. The kids (yes, they'll always be kids to us) really enjoyed themselves. Next time I'm visiting Charlotte, I wouldn't mind visiting here again, if for nothing else, just for that IPA.

Ariana G.

Yelp
Chill vibe. Great coffee. Self order. Easy and efficient. Will likely visit again !!!!!!

Kyongjin K.

Yelp
came here during the daytime and it was a good space to hangout w friends and cool off! it was the weekend so they had a market in the basement and an icecream vendor. i love the large selection of drinks available as well.

Andrew B.

Yelp
I love Resident Culture hands down. Perhaps my top ten breweries here in Charlotte! The vibe of this place feels different than their Plaza Midwood location, but it fits the South End neighborhood! I love their variety of brews they have available. And to top it off, they serve their own cocktails, which is an added plus. The food from El Toro Bruto is not bad. The menu is simple; tacos with their own fusion items. Relatively priced decent. I ordered a tacos bruto with carne asada, but overall felt messy. Like I couldn't pick it up without having the juices run down my hands. Yuck. This is more like a fork and knife kind of meal the way they prepare it. Overall, love the vibes here. Only wish South End parking was better somehow but one can hope

Ashley U.

Yelp
Loving this place!! It is very different from the original resident culture but this place has all the vibes! Super happening spot with good energy and a the DJ was killing it this weekend! So I have tried a few of their beers and they were all good, but I was pleasantly surprised with their bourbon cocktail--awesome!! El torobruto is in there whipping up some incredible tacos and queso that you just gotta try! We waited about 40 minutes to get in but we can't wait to go back!!

Mike S.

Yelp
Resident Culture South End has quickly become one of the hot new spots in the ever so popular South End neighborhood. While the beer may be mostly the same this spot is overall much different than its Plaza Midwood counterpart providing much more of a night life atmosphere that you would sooner find at a club than a brewery. I'm talking DJs blasting tunes and lines out the door on busy nights. Even with all the space both inside and out it still feels crowded on the weekends. That doesn't mean you still can't get tasty beer and even solid food as they have a Mexican restaurant built in with a dining area in the back. Last time I was there we happily scarfed down several orders of chips and queso. If a busy happening atmosphere is what you are looking for then this is a solid option. If you are looking for a more typical brewery experience then go visit their plaza midwood location.

Edward M.

Yelp
It's too loud for me as there is a DJ playing music at 3pm on a Saturday as if it's 10pm. I found it difficult to have a conversation. It seemed like the staff enjoyed the afternoon loud atmosphere the most. It felt like a club. Drinks prices are kind of high at $8+ per pint of beer. I found Charlotte beer garden more reasonable at $6-8 per pint.

Ryan L.

Yelp
Came here Saturday with my girlfriend for lunch. We both got two tacos and some beers, along with the chips and salsa. Was no wait and ordering system was convenient. Tacos were definitely solid and I enjoyed the beef tongue taco as something more unique. Tacos were a little watery / greasy, but overall were good. Salsa was good - fire roasted and just needed a little heat. RC makes some of the best beers around, so have to highly recommend checking out their new spot. It's a nice space and we appreciated how easy it was to order half pours right from the app

Cassandra Y.

Yelp
There was nothing terrible about this place but I was just a bit disappointed on how it didn't seem to bring any of the things I enjoy from the original location. Do not come here if you're looking for those same chill brewery vibes, this is most definitely a bar and quite rowdy.

Rebecca V.

Yelp
Terrible. Staff is not level headed or professional. This creates an unsafe environment.

Lexy P.

Yelp
Staff will force you out before 2am. Rude. Bathroom attendants are terribly rude. I've lived in Charlotte my whole life and I don't recommend

Michelle A.

Yelp
I can't believe the good reviews of this place. We had to order our food on an app which automatically added 20% to every thing we ordered. There was no staff or waitresses to ask questions. We couldn't customize any of our food. They were out of guacamole and margaritas and we arrived when they opened. Tacos were mediocre and expensive.

Pat P.

Yelp
Nice facility with a decent atmosphere but the staff are extremely rude and unfriendly. Paying for you drinks is a super pain in the butt. They don't take cash and they won't let me leave a credit card tab open. You have to pay with a credit card and close each transaction out.

Jason W.

Yelp
I'll start by saying I love RC and I love the Plaza Midwood location. This was my first time at this location. I will let you know that if you are looking for the same number of beers and brewery vibe as PM this is NOT the place to be. This is basically an RC restaurant. If you're looking to grab a quick beer this is not it. No communal table seating means you're gonna wait. I guess the most disappointing part was the focus seems to be more on a "please everyone" vibe versus the beers. Very limited beer selection but plenty of on draft cocktails. Won't be back to this location but def to PM.

Yelp
This place is amazing. I am a huge fan of their original location, beer, etc. now I'm super happy because this is open down the road from me. This is such a cool space and vibe, will definitely be a new spot for me.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. My family and I really enjoyed the vibe. They have a very large eating space as well.

Yelp
So excited to have Resident Culture in the South End! Great location, expansive, creative taproom, way above average beers, Toro Bruto kitchen is exceptional. Set up is inviting, friendly, and extremely convenient! Check it out!

Yelp
Find it very interesting that the owner is super concerned over some situations, but not others. Conveniently when they feel they are in the right. What about all the one star reviews of people that were hurt or aggressively handled by staff that isn't at your upmost importance???

Yelp
Really cool decor and lots of space available. You can sit at any table and order a drink or food from your table which is the way to go. After 10 on the one weekend it gets super busy and they turn the music up. The beers were okay, and one of the few breweries with cocktails. You will have to pay $13/cocktail but at least you have the option.

Yelp
Wow! So excited to finally try this spot aaannndd... it was not at all what I expected. Out of their only WC IPA -Out... here's a clue guys... make more WC style IPA's!! Please- I beg you. The only other thing was that you had a bathroom attendant- why? She was super sweet & lovely but is it needed? The group of gals I was standing with found it weird & depressing. Give her a better job, this role is not needed.

Yelp
I would rate them a -50 if i could. There was fungus on the bar. Fruit flys everywhere. I was groped about 7 times. Do not do not go here.

Yelp
I wish I could leave 0. We were here this past weekend for a bachelorette party and were making our way out to leave and stopped for a brief moment to pet a dog that was in the bar and security came up and was like you need to move you're blocking the walkway, we went on to apologize and leave and one of the security guards picked my friend up from her shoulders and ran her outside and threw her on the sidewalk. She now can't walk and is on crutches. I would love for the manager to contact us. This is unlawful and horrible behavior!

Yelp
I love resident cultures beers. I'm from out of town and didn't know you couldn't stand at one tiny little spot at the bar at South end. Bar manager took offense to me saying oh I'm sorry? I guess just a miscommunication but I was very put off by the fact that he came out from behind the bar and followed me and yelled in my face that two black dudes will pull me out of here if I don't stop disrespecting him. It was a miscommunication but bar mangers shouldn't also be WWE champions looking for a fight. My name is Tyler Haas and I would love to have a 1on 1 with the manager, maybe when he takes the stick out of his ass...

Yelp
If you don't tip on a card don't go there. The one guy behind the bar only wanted card tips. I'm sorry we only tip cash.

Yelp
This is my new favorite spot for getting work done during the day. The space is super comfortable - plenty of space to spread out (unlike some smaller coffee shops!). All of the coffee drinks have the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor without being overpowering. The café de olla is a must try - and most of the time I wind up getting a delicious taco as well. Also, everyone that works here is incredibly friendly and helpful!

Yelp
Ray was the nicest guy! We had an amazing time would definitely recommend and will be coming back!!
