Restaurant Birdhouse Wingerie & Bar Dollard-des-Ormeaux

I’ve ordered takeout from here a few times, last night I ate in the restaurant for the first time. The wings are good, but they are significantly better when you have them fresh! A lot of the wing flavours are very unique and tasty, and they have some pretty spicy ones too if you’re into that. Also the tater tots are delicious. The staff were nice and professional, our waitress offered great recommendations and checked in with us to ensure everything was to our liking. My only complaint is the big screen. It’s a cool concept but when there are music videos that have strobe light effects it creates a VERY uncomfortable environment.

One word, delicious. Went in for a late lunch, things were quiet, service was excellent. Probably took about 15-20 to get the food but it was spot on. The chicken was moist and crunchy, delicious. Everyone thought it was an excellent meal. The only thing some thought could be improved was the house slaw. Upon a second visit found good to be inconsistent, no coleslaw this time, beer was blah at best. 2025-12-22 - Went again for my daughter's birthday, her request. Good food, good service.

Great service and atmosphere, however my chicken sandwich was more bun and fried batter than chicken.. like 4mm thick. Maybe what's why they give you so many fries. $23 for a bun and skin sandwich. The "sauce" was tasteless.

Casual restaurant first visit . Overall great experience. We ordered 1 pound of wings honey/Garlic . Maybe 1 pound but portion seemed a bit small for the price , taste was good . Kale salad , bone marrow poutine and ice cream cookies were all delicious . Our server Charlotte was fantastic . Stamps on drift beer is really cute and a great idea .

This is a perfect location for a great evening in best atmosphere. Our waiter Oliver was outstanding right from the beginning. A very hearty person. He suggested the best wings we ever had. We also took Mozarella Sticks and Tacos from the menu. All of it was delicious and very interesting in taste. The manager Chris visited our table and we had a really good time talking in german to him. It was an allover great experience for us! Don't miss the chance!

It was our first time for my wife and me. Good food and good service. The manager, our waitress and the rest of the staff were attentive and focused on the customer's needs. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices.

God what can I say…birdhouse is truly the best restaurant the West Island has to offer. I’ve never felt more appreciated as a customer than I do at this place. The workers are so tentative and truly care about their clients. Not only do they treat their customers well the food is incredible and amazingly priced. I love these guys, 13/10, would recommend to anyone.

Good music, very cool decoration and design inside, amazing server and host, and the food was phenomenal. Likely the best wings I have had. The salad was unexpectedly crunchy, they put cooked baby spinach in their Caesar salad which was new to me. Great flavor but I personally did not like the texture.

Ohm-nom-nom! Atmosphere, drinks, foood, and best of all the service! Atmosphere - 80-90s funk tracks playing, making me giggle about my youth on the DL of course! Drinks - usual bourbon and pale...such a tasty combo. Food - had the tater tot poutine (in love) but this twist had a spicy tomato gravy, I know it sounds strange, but it compliments the wings I got!!! Ketchup chips crusted wings (1lbs=7ish wings) ermahgerd Becky! So good! Service - Juliana as my hostess/barkeep! Very attentive and sweet, always checked on me while I was seated! Also the manager sat me, even tho it's open bar seating, I was just by myself!

Chicken sandwich was a pretty big portion. Not a big fan of their ranch as it's VERY DILLY. The buttermilk fried chicken was decent, the batter just completely falls off before biting into the meat but a VERY generous portion (3 large pieces)! Poutine was decent, nothing amazing. Service was a little slow but the ambiance was pleasant with great music!

Birdhouse on the west island. The staff is really friendly. You need a reservation. We started off with a platter of chicken wings which were amazing. I had the brisket burger which was juicy and was incredibly delicious. The fries are double fried and were crispy and hot -done perfectly. The meal was amazing and the birdhouse is sure a winner. We will be back

We came here on a Sunday night for a quick snack after the movies It seemed like the owner was the one that greeted us, very nice and friendly. We sat at the bar, the girl that took our order was nice and friendly as well They have a very big menu different types of wings and all The restaurant is quick small so I guess that during peak hours this place would be packed. Really like the placement of the restaurant. Loved that they played oldies songs and the music videos of the songs were being played on the tv screen. We each for a glass of wine, I got the white house wine which was good for a house wine We shared the Osso bucco poutine, the buffalo wings and a side of coleslaw. The poutine was very good and for the price 13$, I could definitely get it again, the sauce was different then just a regular poutine and there was piece of the Osso bucco. The wings were nicely coated with sauce and meaty, which I loved. The coleslaw side that we took was actually a pretty big portion which we loved aswell because usually when it comes to sides the portions are very small. I would definitely come back here again and to try other things on the menu and the different types of wings. I really loved the atmosphere and I felt like the employees made us very comfortable to be around. I don't have anything negative to say about this place, definitely a must try

Hello Birdhouse awesome little spot in the west Island it only opened up recently fairly new and I'm digging it!! Seevice: wonderful! Very sweet quick and efficient! Lady was super caring and made sure to get the order in the bag on time ! Definitely need to come here soon and enjoy the food on the spot it was a lazy Tuesday and I guess we just wanted something to pick up quick! Loved Their delicious chicken! It's so moist and extra crisssssspayyy yum! The only issue is the sauce.. It was way to spicy and tangy for my liking wish you could have more options of which sauce you can choose in the burges.. sauce was not the greatest but nevertheless I really loved my Chicken burger Poutine was deelish fries were perfectly handcut almost looked store cut but they do claim it's hand cut so I'll trust them.. it was preety good! Sauce and cheese was in abundance I also enjoyed their sweet potato fries those are always my favourite! Overall, pretty delish definitely will be back here again for a nice dinner date with the hubby!! Cheers

Good place to hang out and meet up with friends. Food is good and portions were generous. Nice amount of choices on the menu. Staff was amazing, helpful, and attentive. Prices lean a bit toward the pricey side but for the quality and portion, it's actually justified. My only negative is that the music can be a little loud so carrying a conversation can be a bit of a struggle. The terrace is a bit quieter so I recommend maybe reserving that section if you can if you want to be able to talk. The terrace is also covered and heated. It was actually too warm and we had to ask them to turn the heat lamps down. The staff constantly came to check if we were warm enough. Overall I definitely recommend people giving this place a try.

The place has a cool vibe. The service was good. The food was quite good with a nice selection of sauces and rubs for the wings. However, keep in mind that it's rather pricey vs quantity. The wings do not come with any sides. Nothing. Zip, zero. Not even a decoration. It's just thrown on a plate. They have lots of fun fancy drinks and cool IPA beers. Would I go back? Doubtful. Wasn't a great bang for my buck.

New place, tried it out for the first time. It was dead when we were in there, so we had no problem getting a table and we had great service. Seems like a great place to watch a sporting event on the weekend, and may be fun at happy hour because of the location. The prices are a bit high, but the food is good. The french fries were a standout item, oddly enough. We tried a few different wing flavors. The hottest on the menu wasn't overwhelming, so don't be scared. The original were very good, as were the cherry coke ones. It is a spot I would come to again, but the prices are a bit higher than I would like to see for a wing spot. Overall fun vibe and cool place to hang.

Ok so I'll say the thing I loved most about this place wasn't even the wings (which are good) ... it was the bone marrow poutine! Now... I'm not a huuuuuge poutine person (I'm a foreigner so you can hate me) but this one was great! The bone marrow adds great flavor and the fries are crispy enough to fight off the sogginess of the gravy for some time. The wings, as I mentioned, were good too. Got a few different types and enjoyed them all... Spicy Nashville may have been my favorite, but we also had the Sriracha Lime, the IPA Beer Hot & Honey, and the legendary buffalo. All pretty good flavor and right amount of sauciness. Overall not a bad spot for chicken wings and bone marrow poutine! Stay Cheerful ;)

Excellent food with a great atmosphere. Our waitress, Mandy was one of the best waitresses we've ever had. Super friendly and personable.

Enjoyed the vibe, it's new fresh and modern. We dined here on a Saturday night. The service was a tad slow, they messed up our order however we were compensated adequately so issues here. The music is a bit loud but it would be a fun place to come with a group or with the boys for some wings and beer. I ordered the Caccio and Pepe as I like my wings dry and my dining partner had the honey garlic. Delicious seasoned and not too salty. Wings were generous size also. Honey garlic were deliciously flavoured and lip smacking good! They brought us out by error the original WNT hot so got to sample those as well. The original were just ok. Overall the experience was a 3.5/5 but they made the effort and were positive so I'm rounding this one up to a 4/5. Some think it's expensive. That is debatable. It could be based on your perspective. Running a restaurant in QC is not easy. High employee wages and high taxes. I worked in these places while growing up and I get that they must charge what they do to be profitable. I'll return back because I enjoyed the vibe and feel and wings were good! Thanks

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Was there last night. Had the General Tao Wings. Really meaty and perfectly cooked wings. General Tao sauce was amazing. Wife had Kale CaesarSalad which she couldn't stop talking about and the Boneless Wings (which are basically chicken tenders). Ingredients are quality: Dinner was so good that we're picking up for tonight! Only downside is that it's very busy all the time (though we got a table for 2 right away at 6pm on a Saturday night), and really noisy, but a cool place.

Wonderful early dinner tonight. Despite being open a handful of days, our dining experience couldn't have been any better. Warmly greeted and seated, our server (sorry your name escapes me) was so attentive while also training a new server. Bloody Caesars were fine, garnished with a fresh wing, olive, pearl onion & gherkin. Loved the spice mix that rimmed the glass. Shared a 10 WNT. If you had the opportunity to eat at the iconic long defunct Wings'N'Things, then you will be very pleased to eat these wings. Brought us back to a kinder gentler time! Buttermilk fried chicken was perfect. Super crunchy breading atop moist juicy chicken. Had a chili lime sauce but would have preferred a honey hot sauce. Coleslaw was bland, needs improvement. Smashburger was awesome, really good tasting beef. 2 well caramelized patties, cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions, Birdhouse sauce on a potato bun. Both orders came with good seasoned fries. Saw an order of nachos pass by that looked real good. Will definitely return to try more!

Let me start by saying I pride myself as a fried chicken fanatic. I lived in the southern states for a while and the thing I missed the most was southern fried chicken which I could not find in Canada. I decided to go with my wife tonight when we heard about Birdhouse. The moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by Peter the manager. We were served by Allie our server who was delightful. We order a great Sangria and I had a Montreal local brewed beer. My wife ordered the regular fried chicken and I opted for the Nashville fried chicken as I do like the heat. I have to say we had a great experience. The drinks food and staff were excellent! You can bet this will be one of my favourite spots to dine. Thanks guys for the great company and great food

The most amazing bar with the most amazing food! The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. It's such a fun place to go with friends and have a good time!! Great vibes. Highly recommend 10/10

Pretzel with dill sauce excellent. chicken tacos were ok.. get the pretzel instead.We ordered the carolina honey gold wings expecting a sweet honey taste instead we got a surprising tang...very good if you love mustard . Service was excellent.

I've been to this restaurant twice. The first time was October 2021 and the product was absolutely phenomenal. Delicious sauces both on the winds and for dipping. I have since gone back (February 2022) and I am so disappointed in how the quality had gone down. The sides no longer came with any of their dipping sauces and the ranch which had previously been the BOMB was dreadful. The wings were also downgraded in terms of flavor. The sauces were now watery and just not good. I am so disappointed. Look elsewhere if you want a good meal.

The best wings in Montreal!!! Awesome service and amazing ambiance as well. Extremely fun place to take your family or go with some friends. The drinks mixed drinks are 10/10.

Sorry did not like it, the burger was regular, no choice of what cut of chicken we get , they said they don't know what piece of chicken we may be served, so if you don't eat dark meat, Good luck. My chicken was under cooked, tasteless and I had blood on the bone . One good point the decor and the tables are amazing and nice . Guys please fix it before it is too late
