"At the buzzy new Dollard-Des Ormeaux eatery, I found wings are the thing: the menu lists eleven “wet & messy” wings, including smoked apple habanero, sriracha lime, and cherry cola BBQ, and four dry-rub flavours—cacio e pepe, ketchup chip, Nashville hot, and the garlicky, lemon pepper “vampire slayer.” They come 10 for $18 or 20 for $34 with ranch, parmesan, or blue cheese dipping sauce. Other offerings include tacos, nachos, poutines (one made with bone marrow, another with tater tots), smashed burgers, salads, and a classic buttermilk fried chicken dinner, while cocktails, sangrias, and spiked milkshakes in After Eight, Skor, Bounty, or Reeses flavours round out the drinks menu. Opened on July 5 at 63 Brunswick Blvd, the 90-seater evokes chic chicken-coop vibes with barn wood-like surfaces, suspended cage lighting, white brick walls, and chicken iconography; it was created by Lorne Schwartz, George Massouras, and Brahm Mauer, and the website teases that every menu item delivers “a flavour that tastes as sexy as it sounds.” Hours are daily from 11 a.m., closing at 10 p.m. Sunday–Wednesday and 11 p.m. Thursday–Saturday." - Valerie Silva
